Searching for a Friend

Cazador

Elayne sighed as the ship that she had borrowed from the silver jedi scanned. It was a E'ron Class Corvette. She hoped that there was some sort of sign that he was on the planet still. She had heard he was in the north so she had localized her scanning hoping to find the man she called her friend and had been missing. She didn't even see him at Iella's funeral and the had worried her. He was the one man who had made her feel at home despite her interesting views. He was her friend and well he surely needed someone to find him. After all he was an important person to the galaxy. She hadn't seen him in ages and that was also why she had come all the way out here. She felt guilty for losing contact with him. It had been entirely her fault.

Elayne leaned back and sighed loudly as the other crew did their job. She was terrible with electronics. So she just sat back and watched hoping someone would find something. After all she wasn't helping things if she hit random buttons. So she kept hoping and meditating. Elayne focused on herself and the force trying to sense anything. She figured it was worth a shot. After all it could work right? Crazier things had happened.

The world Cazador was in many ways a peaceful place. Few really knew the creatures or world here. That was why he had come, a funeral for Iella was something the others needed, wanted but there wasn't much he could do. Hard to be the devoted husband when your wife and daughter were gone. His son safe in the temple and here on the planet. This world designed and built to create something for the people of it as the different tribes had created a world to give peace. His hand running through his hair slowly while he looked out upon the frozen tundra. From the secluded northern lands there was an oasis in the snow and subzero temperatures that created a section of life. A savage land as it were and the place was protected by small shielding. He had been here fighting on of the larger but still baby GRN-DL that had found its way up out of the earth. From the large tunnels and as he was standing there inhaled the scents on the air before heading back towards one of the temples.

Elayne finally tracked down the mana, or at least where he was staying. A section in the north to be exact. It was a shaky landing mainly because Elayne was terrible at giving directions to these droids that supposedly knew what they were doing. She was terrible with technology. When she got out she thought about hugging the ground. She took a deep breath and smiled it was good to be on the ground again. She smiled and began to ask around for Syn. He was after all not hard to find. She hadn't seemed to have any luck. Elayne was surprised how big such a desolate place could be. It was harsher than where she came from. Though luckily her knowledge of basic was getting her somewhere.

Elayne wondered where he could be. The man she had met so long ago had meant so much to her. He was the reason she got to be who she now was. After all he had taken her all over the galaxy. Hm and Iella. and now she just wanted to rekindle that friendship and be there for the man who must be hurting. She was hurting I'ella had been her best friend. Now she had no one but maybe Syn, if he was even actually here.

He was here and as he stood there there was a new scent on the wind while he turned his head to look. Something familiar and he was looking into the force quickly... his energy flaring out before he licked at it in the air and was running. Almost a snarl coming from his mouth before he lept from a rooftop and spread his arms a little as the force energy pushed under his form slowing his fall and gliding just a little. before reaching the ground and running off. He turned a corner running faster while he followed the sounds of droids that were being talked to about himself. He stopped and said the name slightly under his breath while he was holding a smirk. "Elayne."

She stopped in her tracks as she noticed Syn. "Syn..." She said approaching him and wrapping her arms around him like it or not. "I looked for you at the funeral but when I didn't see you I had to track you down. I can't believe it. " She said trying not to cry. She had promised herself she wasn't going to cry. . So she tried not to and just hugged Syn. She was mainly happy to see him. Though so it wasn't too bad. "You are a hard man to find, you know that? I am amazed I did even considering a droid flies my ship. As you know technology isn't my strong point. " She laughed a bit at her self knowing that she was truly terrible at it. "Why iare you all the way out here. It is hard for friends to find you when you vanish off the face of the galaxy you know." She said looking at him as if she was mad at him but both surely knew she wasn't. "It is good to see you."

He looked at her when she hugged him and for a moment was taken aback... not because she was here more because... Well he had forgotten what it really felt like to have a friend and that warm feeling in his chest wasn't just... well taco's. Her wrapped his arms around her and had a smile on his face while listening and speaking. "It is good to see you and I am surprised you are here." He had vanished.. well not quite, he had left word with his son who could find him and if Abigail cared or tried she could as well but he doubted it. She preferred her own thing and had gone off to do whatever it was kids do. He was more then certain chasing her down and telling her she was an idiot would not end well as he spoke. "Well I left my location at the temple, for those who like to check in but it does me well to see you. I actually think I missed having you around."
