She watched as her instructor perform her movements and watched her intently. The young girl nodded when she was being instructed her hand pressed lightly on her chin and hummed lightly to herself. And with a nod of her head jump from point to point, marks on the trees showing where she jumped. When she made it to where her master was she looked back and pouted seeing the marks left on the trees. "Darn it..." She whispered while crossing her arms next to her master.

Nico watched her and remained silent but saw the pout for a moment while she let her words come out soft. "It is alright, you are still learning, I am still learning. The master who taught me is dead, but she was still learning. It never stops and it should never stop." Nico was moving a little and balancing but held her arms out to the sides. "ANyone who tells you they are a master and have nothing left to learn is lying to you and themselves." She jumped towards another tree and motioned for the padawan to follow. "There will always be something new or someone better, that is why we train constantly."

Wise words from a wise woman, despite the young girls hyperactivity she let her master's word sink in. She jumped behind the woman and held out her arms mimicking her master step by step. Was that why her father always trained, did he know that he wasn't the best but thrived to be, maybe something? The young girl took in a deep breath and then jumped onto the back of [member="Nico Minuro Ike"] knowing she could handle her weight. She wrapped her around lightly behind her neck. "Please show how you move, show me how I am suppose to see when you move like you do." She said happily.

Nico was confused for a moment but having a little time to adjust as she thought about it and worked with the force to balance herself while she thought about how best to begin this. A strange way to have the lesson go but she wasn't going to be opposed to it. SHe was breathing for a moment to steady herself while a grin formed on her face and Nico focused letting her muscles tense and bulk a little. Not much on a small frame but with force body she could support her padawan as she dropped down and was in a run quickly. The muscles in her legs folding while she hopped back up and was moving with the weight adjusted bringing her backs back to hold and secure the padawan with her gauntlets as while was running forwards and shifting the inertia and force up to resist the gravity with the extra weight on her back and it was just like fighting in the heavy gravity room. She focused her attention on the ground and moving before jumping and corkscrewing over a stump while adding more height to it so the padawan would be fine and strength to keep her in place. Nico landed as she kept moving forward almost bobbing her head to the feeling and motion.

Kinetic communication was her first language, learned from her Lorrdian father. The most slightest of movement had their own meaning revealing more about a person and the possible action than they cared to realized. Applying this to learning physical skills such as this made it easier for the young girl to learn. She watched and felt every single movement made by the Jedi, that this was all natural to her. The woman was strong, having the lightest of steps even with Lily on her back. The shifting balance from foot to foot could be felt but only by the bit to bit showing her smooth and elegant movement. Lily could feel the wind course lightly as they moved and despite the corkscrew, the young girl felt safe, the aura around Nico was relaxing, soothing. The more she moved, the more Lily was learning not only of the technique of that of her master.

Nico kept moving and through the jungle as she jumped over a fallen tree. Letting the force guide her through the trees and brush quickly until she had more speed and lift. Her body rising up as she crouched for a moment leaping up to the tree branches as she was moving and pushing the inertia forward. Force energy making the back of her legs feel the pressure like she was being pulled by straps on a slingshot. She was leaping and kicking off the trunks of the tree in a zig zagging motion with a small creek below then and she lept over it tucking her knees up to her chest touching down and surging forward as she sent more speed and energy forward to keep them going and the feeling of others in the force was disappearing to the edges of her senses. "YOu feeling alright?"

The young girl nuzzled her mentor tightly as the flow of the force intensified and changed around them. It was a warm and pleasant feeling as they moved from tree branch to tree branch for a just a moment the young one relaxed on her mentor instead of analyzing what was happening. She closed for eyes and enjoyed the safe feeling. The young girl smiled a bit feeling the motion before opening her eyes once more, when her master spoke to her, she let out a sheepish. "Yes." She said letting out a light yawn before clinging on her her masters shoulder and jumping over head graceful landing on a nearby branch and igniting her saber. "I understand the movement now, master. How do I apply this with it?" She said looking over with a big smile on her face. This was proving to be her most favorite lesson yet.

Nico looked at her as she was standing there on the branch and looked t the padawan. The saber and her smirk while she though about how best to use it and she motioned. "Well best way to use it is to get good and be able to focus it. You can put the inertia into your swing to increase the power of the strike." She had a grin and showed her. "The saber technique that you will be using it called the falling leaf. It uses speed, rotation and gravity to add strength over exerting more energy. You use what comes naturally instead of the force or your stamina. It is the basis for Djem So that will emphasize counters and defense wit letting the ones you face wear themselves out." Nico was standing there and she let the energy pop with the shield on one wrist and on the other her saber as the rainbow was shifting colors. SHe had ways and thoughts of how to tweak it to be a stronger shield and blade.

The young zeltron listened to her master intently once more as her master described that basis of Djem So. The young girl quickly took mental notes and repeated Nico's words over and over in her mind. "Inertia into the swing to increase the power." She thought. "Right." The applications of Inertia was impressive. The young girl always thought Djem So and Shien were about physical strength but instead it's focus was just sheer power. "Speed, rotation, and gravity instead of over exerting energy." She thought closing her eyes and visualizing the motions and actions. She open her eyes and watched the rainbow saber and shield, interesting, so different from the standard saber. Her master seemed unique in this as she has yet to see anyone else do this. The young girl smiled, her excitement increased the more she learned, did her father feel the same way when he learned something new like this? She was starting the understand what he trained as studied as much as he did.

Nico was looking at her and stood there as Lily moved and seemed to take it all in. Standing uup there on the branch while it was thick was a fun thing and she moved onto the edge raising her eyebrow for a moment. "The other main aspect of Djem So is how you move. You barely move, defend and control, make them come to you and tire themselves out while you use your stance and position to counter attack." Nico was watching while she stood there. "Sometimes that can mean you will need to taunt them or get them to be distracted. A distracted enemy doesn't focus as quickly or see when you change your movements to surprise them." She looked over some of the trees while she pointed. "Now over there are some of the caves, we can find crystals in there for what will be your sabers. Plus it will give a chance to see what you can do in an enclosed space. Running on the ceiling of a cave can be fun when you drop down on creatures or find that perfect crystal."

"Ok....Another main aspect of Djem So. You barely move? Weird....But okay, then you uh...Defend and control! Right, mixing the speed into defense to create more powerful reversals right? Then make them come to you and tire themselves out while you use your stance and position to counter attack! Okay!" She thought to herself doing her best to memorize and understand her masters words. She took in a breath as she continue to take in the lesson that was being given to her. "Make fun of them and make them mad then hit them in the face." Her eyes gleamed with a wide smile as she heard the words crystal and saber. This was happening, she was going to make a saber and she was more than just ready to do this. "Yes, yes, yes!" She shouted excitedly.

Nico was looking at her proud. "Yes, though you can move as you need to. The trick is to draw them in and tire them out so they make the mistakes. Where defensive styles like soresu are amazing for defense they offer less to no offensive making you rely on another form. Fjem So will let you defend, counter and protect." Then she heard her padawan and she had a grin on her face at that while she crossed her arms in approval. "Yes exactly how you do it. ALso never deny the power of a good kick to the groin, that will make anyone think twice." Nico was looking at her and now the real fun could begin as she looked over a few of the things.

"Also there is far more things we can do like use those caves down there so you can find something special." The crystals could come in handy and she wanted to work on soothing that stress and aura from herself. She'd need it she figured to better teach Lily who was full of energy and spunk.... She'd have to find some excuse to get her offworld and spoil her, what was the point of her family having a fortune from aurodium mines and never getting to use it. She could think of some more things while leading the way towards the cave offering an open arm for her and some more thoughts.

"There is also the excuse of bonding, it is important for a master and padawan to bond over things from adventure and missions yes, training and meditation sure but most importantly.... Talking, sharing a meal and learning how to be like a family..... somewhat. Mother and daughter, sister and sister, master and student and as it progresses I'll likely learn from you as much as I try to teach you. This is the way of the jedi and tradition." Her hands brushed her outfit off while she looked at Lily. "So come on padawan, lets talk and get to know each other I rather like this time together and if you want would like to keep you on permanently."

"Djem So, Huh?" She asked out loud to herself, she liked the idea of being able to do three things in one form, it simplified combat to her. Defend, counter, and protect. She liked that, really liked, the young padawan was going to really practice the movement for this form indefinitely. She giggled when her master mentioned kicking a foe in the groin. "Yes master, I will keep that in mind when I come against someone!" Her voice was filled with more excitement than it should. She raise her arms and began to soccer kick relentlessly with both legs, "They will feel my pink fury!" she exclaimed. She did a cartwheel and landed flailing her arms playfully before stopping and looking to her master.

"Like family?" She questioned before thinking about her father and mother whilst patting her lower lip gently with a finger. She wondered if that was the case why didn't her father wish to train her. Did he want her develop social skills like mother? Be able to make friends anywhere and any place? To truly get to know and understand the Jedi. She took in a deep breathe and nodded making way towards the caves her master mentioned. "Y-you want to take me on as a full on padawan?" She asked with a large grin. "That would be great! What do you want to know?"

"Yes like family." She had a grin and Lily seemed excited and she was as well as she thought about it walking into the cave and moving her shoulders with a smile. "Well the first thing that should always be known is what else have you been taught. Don't want to make it boring with you just want to get some of the really good times." Nico had more to it but with her mother not going to get jealous she was teaching the girl. Working with and meeting her dad might be needed but wouldn't be as important while they were moving through the caves and the crystals gleamed in the sides of the cave. She moved her hand t the wall and touched it going further in. "Once I know what you know, we can really have some fun with the force beyond dancing."

The young padawan began to do a little skip into a flip then turning around with her hand behind her head skipping backwards. Doing so, her eyes turned away and began to think of what she has learn. "Well...I learned some of the basics. Like telekinesis....Um....Healing and how to shoot a gun!" She said continuing her little skip. "Hm...I'm liking my lesson already. So dancing with the force is fun." She remarked with a giggle. "I supose my main focus will be trying to be a shadow or....Guardian? Is that basically the same thing? I understand the positions, kinda, made by the jedi from my father, but I dunno where I fit in just yet." Her mind began to wander for a moment and then giggled thinking about her crystal.

"A shadow is misused by some, more many. The shadows were selected and used to hunt down dangerous artifacts and darksiders. They have been altered for some to use and call themselves made into some secret clubhouse. There was a time when the concept of a shadow could cause fear to grip the hearts of evil beings as the jedi boogeymen." She was looking at her while walking in there and skipping a little with her padawan as she was excited enjoying some of the things they had been working on when she heard some of the other things she had skills in working on. "Alright then we'll have things to work on and in here you can practice running up walls and across ceilings. of the cave."

"Oh...How mysterious and dangerous...." She started off and tapped her lip as she thought of the shadows. A group that were like the boogeymen of the jedi that also have a secret club house. Do they party when they don't fight or hunt for dangerous Items? She giggle when she though to the mysterious people dance in their mask; it was a funny thought to her. "From how you explain them they are a mysterious fun bunch." She remarked jokingly. As they approached the cave; the young zeltron half-ling took in a deep breath and began to run on the wall. "What are you doing, aside from being a cool master?!" She asked.

Nico watched her as Lily was moving with the flow of the force as she thought about it. She had found some crystals and some rubble from fights that had happened within the cave here. They had discovered some things while her attention was on her padawan. "I am looking at some of the things that have been here since the jedi took voss." She watched her padawan and standing there seeing what she did with the force. "Now when you are running, just like we practiced shift the inertia and your speed to keep yourself leveled on the wall and have it press you down. It will give you a nice headstart to drop in on people if you need to."

The young lass continued her run mimicking the movements made from her master before. She did as instructed and focused the change in her movements using what she is currently learning on, inertia. She felt the force course throughout her being and with every exhale she would push herself from the wall followed by tucking and rolling off her shoulder until she stopped before a light crystal, feeling as though it was calling to her. She quietly walked over and dropped to her knees and lightly dusted off the bright violet velvet crystal. "Master...It's pretty!" She said as she picked it up and walking over back to her master. "It feels like it was calling me, Master. Is...Is that normal?"

Nico was watching her while she worked with the shield she got off, the older model guard armor had a molecular shield built in that she could convert and work on with the rest of the materials into something she had. Setting the shield on her gauntlets where she could incorporate with with some of the technology for her gauntlets. She had some ideas before turning up and hearing Lily as she raised an eyebrow. She hadn't been expecting that but... not one to complain while she was moving to stand next to her with a smile. "Now that is soemthing good to get for yourself." She looked at the crystals while motioning with her head. "It is yours, go on and take it."
