STRENGTHS:

• Requires an expert pilot, due to the notoriously finicky flight control system and hairpin handling, and is not meant for amateurs.

• Heavily-customized design and advanced systems used make repairs difficult and time-consuming efforts, meaning that casual field repairs are virtually impossible and without access to specialized tools, parts, and materials, as well as a skilled crew, it’s just not happening.

A highly-modified RZ-2 A-Wing Starfighter, incorporating a number of miniaturized advanced systems and technologies, designed to operate as a light interceptor, special reconnaissance, and special operations craft, the Shadow Fury was designed and biometrically-specialized for use by Cypher Rage. This small, nimble craft is capable of terrific speed, agility, and a variety of mission profiles.

Among its many, many modifications, the starfighter’s power plant is the compact Heartsblood Reactor, able to provide a seemingly inexhaustible power supply, sufficient to allow long-term independent operation without refueling or resupply. The propulsion system incorporates the powerful K-88 “Event Horizon” sublight engines, able to produce blistering speeds when paired with the integrated SLAM system. Further, hard-wired VT-Hyperspace Capacitors work in tandem with the GBk-885 Hyperdrive Motivators to allow the ship to make near-instant jumps into hyperspace, even inside a planetary atmosphere and to execute ‘micro-jumps’ within a star system. Compact maneuvering thrusters enable precision movements and hairpin handling, giving its pilot an edge unparalleled by most starfighters in use across the galaxy.

The onboard weapons system pairs excellent targeting and tracking capabilities with upgraded Ls-9.3 laser cannons, able to reduce small asteroids to pebbles and dust with a single direct shot. These are mounted on adapted GO-4 servos, enabling pilots to turn their weapons to fire behind them as well, and these potent guns are paired with smaller light ion cannons to knock out enemy shields and engines. An “Energy Armor” deflector shield is mated with a particle shield generator to fend off attacks by missiles and projectile weapons as well as to avoid collisions with debris in battle. If this isn’t enough, beskar hull plating, phrik-reinforced alusteel-titanium skeleton, and even the chromium trim is highly resilient to a variety of types of weapons and damage.

Powerful sensor package and communications equipment allow virtually unlimited communications range and incredible encryption security. Onboard A.I. and advanced computer systems ensure Cypher will have access to up-to-the-second information and situational awareness that, daresay, borders on omniscience and precognition. A holistic stealth suite vastly reduces the Shadow Fury’s signature among the stars, leaving it vulnerable to only the most advanced and powerful military-grade scans and sensors.

But for all its fighting prowess, the Shadow Fury is not without comforts. Duskwood paneling and ergonomic spacers leather seat, complete with cupholder makes the ride a comfortable one. Stowed in a duraplast removable backpack is contained a complete survival kit, field rations, close-range sidearm, military medpac, and even a light shield bracelet. A Locke and Key Hex Flightsuit and Red Vest body armor are also provided, with bespoke tailoring to Cypher’s sizes.

In all, the Life Day gift would give one of the CIS’ favorite young rising stars a personal ship and formidable starfighter that was, in every way, made just for him!

After all....a man named Rage, a ship named Fury, it just seems like kismet.
