Ice looked on in fascination at how she handled herself. Even despite being outnumbered and with some scary beasties behind her for distraction, she was still fairing pretty well. Her fighting technique was almost perfect. Almost...he thought as he saw her take a fist to the face.

As the second gladiator fell though, and she revealed the unique trick of her saber, even from his seat Ice could see the lone gladiator was in fear for his life. Ever the fair sport, Ice input another command on his datapad. A moment later, the chained nexu were not so chained. The both lunged away from their falling chains toward Taeli.

The one nexu in particular, having been infuriated by her earlier lightning attack, was now leaping through the air just in front of the second one to try and finally make a savory Sith meal out of her.

The gladiator in front of her, having seen what had happened, was suddenly bolstered to think he could still win. He made a feint at her in order to keep her attention on him while the nexu came up from behind and he hoped, would finish her off for him.

Meanwhile Ice soon got a report back from his lead engineer on the reactor project. He informed Ice that the design really was going to be a comparatively simple matter. It would need an eternal power source to get the reactor started. But once it was going, it could theoretically last forever. The report brought another smile to his face, but he decided to respond after he had finished watching the fight.

Smiling coldly, she sensed the two nexu racing towards her, the more angry of the two pushing forward just a bit, but unbeknownst to everyone in the audience, the second nexu was coming to protect its new master. She dodged the first cat monster, flipping through the air and throwing her lightsaber. The spinning blades carved straight through the angered nexu's back paws, before using the Force, she redirected it back at the remaining gladiator.

He threw his shield up to stop the spinning blades, but the overwhelming attack broke through the shield and burned through him as her lightsaber raced back to her hand. The wounded nexu was growling at her as the final gladiator fell into two pieces, but she smiled.

"Attack," she hissed, using the Force to direct her controlled nexu to attack its former ally. The nexu leapt at the injured one, a brawl between the two consisting of tearing claws and gnashing teeth. The one she controlled though had an advantage of back claws as well, and it wouldn't be denied as it tore into its rival. It came back over to her, sporting several wounds but looking proud of itself as it knelt before her. She scratched its head with a smile before reaching out with the Force and choking it, she would take it with her but she didn't have room on her shuttle. As it died, she turned and headed back to the arena entrance, having enjoyed herself and blowing off the steam she needed to cement her slightly increased power.

The crowd was on its feet roaring with applause at the amazing display. There wasn't a single person in the audience that expected the twist ending with the nexu. It wasn't a terribly long battle, but it was one that they would all remember for quite some time. Ice smirked at how she finished off her opponents. "Clever girl." He thought to himself. "Definitely going to have to keep that one around."

When she had returned, she would find Ice clapping for her triumph. "Well done. And I can see why you wouldn't allow me to scan your saber." He added with a wink. "So. Now that our current business is concluded. Where will you be off to now, if you don't mind my asking."

Taeli smiled as she lowered the ramp to her shuttle, before saying, "I'll be on my way back to Coruscant for now. I've got some more things to read up on, projects to start and all that. Oh, before I forget."

She handed Ice a datapad.

"That has a secure channel to contact me whenever you want," she said, smiling wider. "If you have any questions, about anything including your Force Sensitivity, I'd be happy to help. After all, the dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural, and I know you're still curious about how exactly I change the crystals. Until we meet again, Ice."

With that, she turned and went into her ship, raising the boarding ramp. She knew her last comment would plant the seed of an unending curiosity to know more about the Force, specifically how to change things and make them stronger. She would hear from him again, she was almost certain of that. Launching her shuttle, she punched in the coordinates for Coruscant and jumped to lightspeed.
