Dev Shadows of Atrisia

Junko looked at them for a moment and well she thought about it but spoke offering a grin. "I saw that and Shoma told me as well as Ju-Li.... though the Commonwealth has had no real interaction with the senator.. they seem to have been assigned by the Galactic Alliance. The royal family and the people of Atrisia seem to have had no say in choosing this person... so file we can file a protest it seems much like when we were part of the CIS we are being told what to do. Which is poodoo but also beneficial as they seem to ignore and leave us alone... I think most of us prefer the being left alone at this point." She said it to nods of agreement from the people.

"THank you princess." THe one woman said it and Junko was looking at them as she prepared to answer other questions. "Princess what about rumors about yourself... are you in a relationship with three of the cities leaders?" Junko smiled at that and they were laughing to all of themselves as she decided how best to answer it... hard to do as well if she went with who she had relations with... they would be here all day and they wanted to salacious details. She wasn't opposed to such a thing though.. she didn't exactly hide that she was more then happy to let them know it.. maybe a tell all book. "Well far be it from me to deny rumors... I have never hidden that I do enjoy an active life."

There were some laughs from all of them.. an open joke and most of Atrisia rarely cared unless it brought about problems... even then ones life and love was a subject of their own... Junko wasn't the heir like SHoma was so a family being presented wasn't as important from her but she could always adopt and aside from Quan'Lo which was always trying to tear down the government and royal family in favor of the infighting that could come from competing regions and rulers .. they wanted the more corrupt senate style of the republic that led to special interests and corporations taking command. She was looking at the reporters though.

"But who knows come and see me later and maybe I'll give you a special one on one interview... you are kind of cute." That got some woos from the others around and the face of the woman who was in her first year or had to be new as she had never seen her before was red... JUnko was allowing the force to heal her body and mind as she reached out with it and felt more of the crowd and everyone there was happy as she saw some people being led in and they indicated for her. "But now if you will excuse me, it seems we have located family for our survivors... after we get them settled we will let more information if they want to share be given you have all of the data."

There was some more questions but Junko held a hand up for them.. if she answered questions now she would be there all day as they were curious minds and wanted to know much... she had to find something to focus and moderate them. The droids though had all of the information and there was a freedom of the people to ask the questions.... only certain things wouldn't be able to be told to them. THey knew that as JUnko was walking and looked at some of the nurses who were there with them helping with the children. She smiled at them and standing there met the parents shaking their hands and explaining the situation in case they were unaware.

Most of them were uncles, family cousins who were and had moved away or been with them before they moved away.. they were happy to help in anyway and their family would be able to adopt the children as JUnko bowed to each and saw they were given a stipend to aid with the efforts. She looked at the others who were with her and the children hugged her as they were heading off. Alti stood there and she hadn't gotten or had any family. SHe was looking at the door but no one else was coming. Junko looked at the information that had been provided and there was not a lot in terms of family as it seemed most if all lived in the village.

Junko went and sat down next to Alti who was there and offered her a nod and smile.. one of her handmaidens bringing tea for the two of them to have and some small bits of finger foods. A smile crept along the girls face though and she spoke. "I guess there is no one you were able to find for me huh?" SHe said it and there wasn't anything bitter it was more like she was resigned to her fate but Atrisia had changed in many ways and there was a larger chance of what they would be able to do. Alti had a lot more options in termsof what she would be able to do for herself though here and JUnko could help her figure it out if she needed the help.

"Maybe but compared to what would have happened before if there was no one for you... there are options now and you never know.. talented and smart girl like you could find work or even be set up for your own chances... become an explorer.. see the stars and far off worlds.. the colonies are always looking for new people who want to brave the frontier... or the royal army. There is a place for you here on your homeworld and I will gladly help you find one that suites your skills... you saving the other children of the village goes a long way towards making you more then worthy enough to find some semblance of happiness."

That seemed ot make Alti happy as she sat there and waved at the otherrs being taken with their families... the Twi-lek was looking at Junko though and it did give the princess a little pang of emotional turmoil... she wondered where they were going to be able to find a place for her... what did she want to do? What had she aspired to be way back there in her village. "AH if it is okay with you princess JUnko... I think I want to go and rebuild my village... there are not many twi'lekl on Atrisia and while I know we are accepted and cared about the village was nice... my parents were nice." JUnko gave her a nod and she understood.

"I think we can manage something... your village is not going to be cooled for yearrs though the plasma melted a lot of it and then it is going to be a slurry that needs to be careful excavated to reach the undersoil but.... all traces of the drengir seem to have been eradicated. Which is a good thing... we can build a new village though or at least something for you to try and create one if that is what you want to do... just give an idea to the engineers and construction droids and we will start it as well as a good location if you are able to." Junko offered her a smile and held her hand while the girl nodded burying her face in her shoulder.

Junko offered a nod of her head while just holding the girl and she was using the interface to set it up. THe AI on board it getting ehr orders from their speech as she was making the requests. "If you feel up to it we can take a few days and head out there... or you can relax a little." JUnko said it and was looking at Altio as the girl leaned back looking at her and gave a nod. "It is something I would like to start as soon as I can... even if I am by myself there." With a nod of her head Junko was looking at her though and well they could do that while leaving some biots with her who would help work the area. Junko looked at the map near the village and where they were investigating or searching.

"THen if that is what you want, we'll requisition the equipment and supplies and go there in three days. For now though rest, relax... either here or on my ship which affords some privacy." Alti gave a nod of her head to that and Junko rose up walking out of the room as she closed the door leaving some of the guards for her who would protect or be able to escort her to the ship and quarters that would be there. Her captain came up as the woman nodded standing in the gleaming Jade colored armor with purple accents. "So we are taking her back?" She said it and the older woman was impassive with a nod of her head but she was ready for anything.

Junko looked at her guard and gave a nod of her head for her question. "Yes sort of.. she wants to rebuild the village but understands that the location is largely unable to be used for now... so we are going to help her find a place and she will start to rebuild. With some help and some settlers who wish to move into different areas of Atrisia she should be able to get a nice homestead of a village and maybe have her own little clan house." The princess said it and had a grin on her face that was getting a little wider since she wanted to do this more and more she was realizing... they might be able to find something good in losing the whole village of people.

THe woman nodded in understanding and had been with her long enough to know what she was thinking as they headed back towards the ship.. the press had left aand were reporting what she said.. new information about the different things happening here in the system and in the galaxy were on the screen as well as highlights from the interview.. speculation as many were talking about who the mysterious senator from coruscant who had taken over as senator of Atrisia was if they never came home or interacted with the world... how could they be a positive benefit to them. THey were showing the village and the spin that it was a fallen location to the drengir helped show that they did what they could.

She wasn't sure about the spin as it were... she wanted them to be honest but she understood that while they werre presenting all of it the pro-nation was something different. Atrisia itself lived on that edge and compared to many of the things that were being done on the planet.. they kept the emperor and empress because they preferred it. A singular person who can make decisions in times of danger was more helpful then a group who would give into agenda and infighting... the corruption that seemed to quickly come to the republics or galactic alliances was proof of that but she also knew that the democracy was in some ways better to have.

THey were generally better received then most of the imperial governments in the galaxy but that might be because they didn't automatically try and press the ancient galactic empires style or ruling over everythign through fear.. they preferred loyalty, honor aand courage compared to them and would put forth a lot more effort with the people now to better improve all of their lives. THey brought in and incorporated many species that could and would in time benefit the Commonwealth with racial and species traits to improve upon them and culturally they added more diversity without well being insufferrable about it like many others did.

Junko returned to her quarters on her ship and stretched herself out as she looked over at everything they had here. She wanted to present herself in the morning so that they would be able to get the supplies needed and the equipment from her palace... which she had to go back to. Alti would have what she needed and they would get back to the village once she chose a location for herself to start the village... well the new one and they would be able to ensure it had everything that it needed like water irrigation and livestock. She looked at the handmaidens who were there and offered a smile as they were sprawled out waiting for her.

"We are here to check on you princess." A smile crept along the pink skinned twi'leks face as the other a zeltron spoke. "Dah to take your temperature." She said it and Junko raised her eyebrows when she moved forward and slid under the silk sheets leaving the door unlocked in case of a problem but well few would come and see her. Waking up in the morning she might be in a little pain but it was going to be that good pain... the kind you saw as worthwhile. Junko laughed before she began and several hours later went to sleep contented and nodding her head. The sun coming through the window as she closed her eyes only told her that she had a good say ahead afterr sleeping.

Junko woke up later in the afternoon, the airship was already on its way to her palace and they had been getting some smaller flyers for herself and Alti who were bringing in reports about requisitions and droid surveys of the different areas... While she had been sleeping the girl had been working to determine the best place to settle down with her smaller village. They even managed to get a small team of settlers who could be there with her everyone of the small settler group was well they wanted to stay on Atrisia compared to going to the other worlds so now they were getting their wish with the survey corps.

"Oh this is good, I should just start sleeping for days more often all of you seem to be doing everything I need.. only need me there to be awake and pretty." She said it with a smile and jest but there was something to it that showed.. well that Atrisia would endure without her but she was just happy they had saved much of it. "We would still want you around princess, there is a lot that we aren't good at like meeting the people and convincing them to work together." JUnko smiled and gave her a nod of her head to that.. well at least they were getting better at placating her ego.. her massive ego and she was just one of the pretty ones.

The continued construction efforts on the island could be seen as thery had worked on what was essentially a port... the internal one around and within the city was for Junko but the one outside of the cenote-esque area they were located in served for everyone else and it wasn't undefended or ramshackle it was just as impressive in the ways one wanted. SHe could see the repulsor ships they were trading with nd setting up for the other islands around them. THey were settled or being settled and the commerce of the island chains this far out was important as was the internal workings of everything they wanted to develop here in a microcosm.

Junko could see more of it as she looked down and they had crates of supplies set aside for her... the airship coming in and setting itself up as it docked and everything around them was loud but quick. THe droids and workers getting everything in quickly as Junko had a chance to see more of the city that was being worked on... they had set up and designed a few more of the shops that were on display when people came. Few would be going past the larger gates into the interior of the city and they had many more areas visible out here. THe heavy gates and overhanging balconies that led to some of the temples for the various gods.

She stood there when she checked out all parts of it.. the docks that had been set up herre as well as the shops where they were opening. THe jedi princess though was talking with them, smiling as the crates werre being transferred onto the ship as well as defensive drones and droids.. they weren't going to make a wall but they would be able to make a barrier... a sort of defensive wall of energy that could be around the village or function as a scanner. She would have them to try and defend against possible drengir, they had set up a lot more though with the recent Atrisian advances they had developed countermeasures... as many minds as they had means to scan and defend against incursions.

"THank you for this." The advanced mechanical engineers who were at her palace were working but they were also using the Atrisian network itself to improve travel time... on a world that had some of the most advanced speeder technologies... they were getting from the mainland and continents with the massive network. It used the transport chambers but before the equipment might have taken several hours. Their time dilation chambers also helped with this development as they could pour years into a few hours or days with the right work being done. For now though JUnko was just glad to see what they were doing and offering.

"Welcome princess, we are glad to see you back." THe older man spoke and he was standing outside of his shop with a smile on his face... a broom in his hand and there were some teenagers working with him. The store windows displaying with holograms that they sold meats and foods which sounded good. The promise of exotic foods got her attention and Junko was looking at him while she went inside and looked around. "We have some of the finest from around Atrisia and beyond thanks to your efforts and your brothers.. but we also have fair food for treats." Oh now that was important... fair foods were some of the best.

She was looking at it and nodded as he gave her a stick of bacon... candied bacon with caramel wrapped around chocolate and fried. Junko was holding it and it didn't drip it just remained there when she was looking at it and had a smile on her face. She paid and was walking out of the shop as she looked at herr handmaidens who were watching her. "What?" Junko said it and took a bite of heaven... this was almost as good to eat aas Tripitaka and she said it to snickers and a blush from the handmaiden but also well she was a northern lords daughter who had come down here to see them. There was a smile on all of theirr faces as she provided one for all of them.

"THank you princess." THey were looking at some of the differences here... with all of the food well she was going to have to take note now.. this was one of the best ways for them to ensure her palace was the best if they had access to some of the best fair food and sweets... JUnko would be looking towards a few more shops they had. THe droids were loading everything up for the airship which meant she had the chance to do well this... shopping which was one fo the most important aspects of a jedi princesses life.. she was a master of it like she was a master of the current or the blade. All of her handmaidens were with her.

She went into one of the clothing stores and got a warm welcome with the owner and her daughters around holding up new clothing items they were able to make. The stitchwork was impressive... the gemstones within it were amazing and she could see a lot more detail in some fo the others as the dresses with massive rubies at the bottom looked like something from Naboo that would be designed for the queen. From some experience she knew those were also used with karlini silks to create protection from assassination attacks with small shielding generators behind the stones. JUnko doubted that was here but as a one of a kind cress it was something she needed to have and got measured for it.

JUnko had the dress as well as some other clothing, the rest of the shops weren't attracting her attention yet... that wasn't true the odds and ends shop was... she could see it and make out that they were holding a number of things from Across Atrisia and the galaxy itself.. the older Atrisian there with two young girls. One a twi'lek showing distinctively Atrisian features and the other was chiss... her ong black hair and red eyes with the pale blue skin. "Welcome princess." All three of them bowed and presented the doors to Junko as she was going in and looking at what they had... swords, clothing, armors... exotics like art from around the galaxy.

"These are all beautiful... you have been collecting?" SHe said it and was looking at more of what they had here... checking on some of the different artifacts they had. The swords were impressive... maybe not considered famous but they were blades that few could match. "We have, for the last couple of years... some of those are sadly frrrom families that couldn't pay their taxes and for food though... this was before the new era... when we all struggled. We used to be a pawn shop... a place people went when they were desperate but we have been trying to find them.. seems alot were lost or harmed in the yearrs from the differeent squabbling lords."

Junko was listening to them and looking at it all... there was a lot here and she knew that when some families got desperate they resorted to whatever was needed.. selling off pieces of their history was something to feed their children and the more selfish ones sold their children.. there was a generation of lost children who had been sold into mythos slaave trades and sent offworld for whatever or to the one sith to get a wormy apple from the masters who had them under heel. She didn't blame them she blamed and put it where it belonged. There were some efforts underway to rescue who they could find but they might never be able to.

"Yes it was a difficult time, but we are trying to make things right... and well I am hoping that if anything happens and these families come herre they are able to get their treasures back." SHe said it and looked at the man who nodded. "I understandand we will do that but will have to look into it... we wouldn't want someone claiming things were their families and it isn't.... such deception would only serve to dishonor all involved." Junko could accept that and held a small case of coins that were beautiful. "What are these?" SHe said it and was looking at them, they looked like assorted credits and currencies from around the galaxy.

"Oh this is nice." She said it and moved from the casing of currencies as the one twi'lek came over and looked at it with a smile and bow "Ah this was something we received from a family, they had managed to defeat one of the conquering lords and laid claim to their ship but it was largely just.... junk and not the type of junk that is important. The sith servant was a boarder and old clippings from flimsy releases about themselves.... used equipment that was broken and old clothing... whatever they had gotten they had kept." She said it and alright JUnko had known others like that and mostly what they kept was.... useless or held no value except to them.

Even then she had been unable to see any value it would have for a sith but she did like the old currencies as a collectors item. "Well if that is the case, I will take this... see that it is sent to the palace and scanned as needed for anything problematic but these could be interesting to see for private collections." She got bows and a few other items were there to see but nothing was as interesting but they had some better histories behind different items that they had managed to research but also from the families that had sold them which would help get them back if they were able to but some families had been wiped out in the attacks.

JUnko was looking at some more of it as her visor chimed and she looked at it. The equipment had been delivered and there was more... a grand tournament was being designed and set up for all of Atrisia and its system... the families on the island were using the arena to make a series of rounds allowing them to create one of the best and showcase the skill of its peoples. She wanted to participate in such a thing to show her own skills... a aense of pride was there for her. "Alright, this will be something to check out and it is in two months so we have time.. I want to get more information and allow ourselves to be given a spot."

SHe got nods from the others and they would be giving it a chance... Junko wanted to see some of the best or at least some of the interesting as tournaments brought out the unusual and unique... a way to learn new skills maybe and well the prize credits could be used for anything from helping build things to feeding people... or relief efforts. She had her handmaidens leading her back to the palace and they would be able to ensure she had what was there. A smile though on her face as the palace came into view and the gates they passed through from the outer town to the inner town where they were working on much more of it with shops but also guard houses.

The palace came into view and they had been changing a few things... largely they were working on defensive measures, on the access areas and with improvements across Atrisia they were working on incorporating different aspects from the other cultures who improved upon designs with their advanced engineering. THe defensive drones that could be sent out and protect the village and palace along with her stream of handmaidens who were moving around. THey had gathered a lot for her information wise but were also getting food as Junko could see her soldiers around them. THey were protecting engineers who were setting up newer defensive measures.

"Princess you are here." Miyoung was there and wearing the white robes she stood there bowing her head. Junko moved up to look at her and hugged the girl with a nod of her head. "Miyoung it is wonderful to see you." JUnko was looking at her and saw the others as they had set up everything... her garden had been expanded somewhat and from the palace it wrapped around with statues being used as art, trees and grass that they were working on. JUnko could see some parts of them when the chiss handmaiden stood there with a grin on her face and red eyes taking in the sight of some of their cooks that were making food.

Junko moved up and looked at her and then the zeltron and twi'lek handmaidens who were out and about.. they were setting up her garden which gave Junko much more. "OH you guys know what I like." SHe said it and from what she could see they had been shopping. She saw portraits, statues from others who were around the island.. there were murals on the one as they had it covered up partially but spoke. "We got a few things for you but also a commission for your ship." She said it and bringing JUnko around with a look on her face as all of them held it up and showed it off. "Oh my." She looked at it and her eyes beamed at it.

The mural painted in some fo the finest inks and paints was of her handmaidens and a few others she had met on her journey... each one of the women there in kimono's with their hair and sprawled out provactavely on the massive silk sheet covered bed. Junko wasn't in it but there was a whole lot of care and even Xifang was there with them on the bed.. the massive Atrisian tiger protecting each one of her well trysts... lovers, whatever one wanted to call them as she spent plenty of time with each of them and was realizing she might be a little bit of a womanizer... maybe... she might need to visit a shrink and discusss it.
