Dev Shadows of Atrisia

The thoughts about what they could be doing to improve the fighters and their ships was there... impressive but they would also be looking to develop and redevelop some of the more ancient technologies.. the reaper tech was able to draw energy from the world around in on a scale few other things could match. It was why it and the harvester were ancient superweapons that were considered dangerous... but the concept of them was an impressive one if they could mirror it... there were also smaller scale versions of ambient energy harvesting which they had developed for the altisians but if they could do it on a wider scale and refine it.

She smirked to herself pouring over the reports.. the possibilities would be endless... she could imagine the small micropoles able to draw energy and power from any source near them... not just a power cell which would make Sasori and commonwealth technologies some of the most ideal and long lasting. They might not have customers weekly but they would have lifelong ones who know their stuff is reliable and if the commonwealths equipment was rated to last longer then a lifetime... well it meant they could pass equipment down and it wouldn't be old and janky to the next generation for family traditions.

SHe was also looking at some of the things they had developed and overdeveloped... their ships and vehicles. THe massive celeste class vessels were well massive and made for planets full of water... the siege breakers for pummeling land based threats.... then there was the command vessels which transported troopers along with an entire armor division in its belly. Those behemoths were well and good for overtaking areas of a planet and saturating their biot soldiers on it who could augment the soldiers who would be brought in. Their troop transports designed with an overabundance of guns to smash through and take out most targets they might encounter.

Then there was the biots themselves which were getting more sophisticated... from the standard MK. I generations that were always getting improved to the well fourth generation that was a highly advanced prototype for many things including artificial force connection fluids... there were then engineering and medical along with a combat model biot... that one was fun as they looked like beefy soldiers compared to the rest but could move with grace and skill while using equipment that was designed with a purpose... to be more effective then anyone elses and lighter weight. Even the powerful rail weapons weighed almost nothing for soldiers.

Thinking about their weapons brought her around to their well their swords and blasters... the technology going into them was some of the more sophisticated for what they had been trying to do which was hybrid weapons. THey were not blastswords though these existed in two different stations and could be shifted as needed for the proper means. THe officer blades were standard within the army in the Commonwealth and she knew Sasori had experimented with creating other models using different types of equipment. A grin on her face as she remembered the blaster saber design with various weapon systems in the hilt of a lightsaber.

"Where were we?" SHe asked it and information from her handmaidens was being brought up to let her see what the plans were... starting with court... she would hear from the people and go to well likely oversee some of the development on the island itself. THey were setting it up for an advanced minimalist approach with bunkers built into the environment and better mesh shielding which would allow them to create safer zones as it were. THey were doing much the same to the area around the island in terms of the ocean with hydrostatic netting so smaller fish could get through but the large predators would stay away.

She knew more about the defenses ad designs were important.. they were terraforming worlds here and within the system after all so the hydrostatic mesh would function here as a means to protect the island above and below. Storms would break up before reaching shore as well as the means for their ships to pass through. WIth the monitoring and control stations to keep the air clean from viral attacks it would also serve them a lot better in some cases. THey were redeveloping the planetwide transportation system to connect and make movement across the world and to the others one of the top priorities.

THe testing bed was also important as Junko came to a window of her palace and looked out. From here beyond her garden she could see the village nestled in the canyon like area of the island. Naturally concealed and aided with their own generators, netting and other equipment. IT wasn't perfectly concealed but well from orbit it was meant to be nearly impossible to see without prior knowledge... from the approach it was easier to see but harder to detect without visual identification. She would be able to do more hopefully with the proper stealth field but a generator like that was more designed with the purpose of the place.

THe rest of the palace upgrades were just as important... the massive hanger was well working with their dimensional compression technologies and flat space... basically several dozen times larger then the hanger looked from the outside and they were experimenting with it. Power sources with the didact and a redundant model for planetary care was there so this island would have power for millions of years without fail or problem. So powering the island and its many systems was never going to be an issue... the regulators were self repairing and had their own droids who were dedicated to repairing and upgrading them as time went on and it became easier. No interruption in what they were doing.

She could see other upgrades that were being worked on... the advanced filtration systems of the waterways in the palace were designed to be self contained and circulating. With filters, scrubbers and cleaners for the water as well as moisture evaporators that functioned in the depths running super cold with geothermal vents creating across the large scale condensation that was collected and used. WIth it using raw matter converted to water as well for the scrubbers they had effectively made it a protected environment without realizing it same for food production and equipment. Her palace was one of the most secure buildings on Atrisia.

Second only to the real imperial palace that they were building... the main one in jar'kai was iconic and needed to be preserved but it was also public and known.. a transporter so the emperor and empress could move from it concealed and secured as needed was important but it would just be the face. The secured palace that only a handful could reach well it was being a much better investment in protection for the emperor and the empress. THe protection for herself and the other Sansin princesses was important as well. Providing security in the form of their own armies yes... but also in the form of their palaces and ability to shelter their village.

JUnko had worked for other security measures not just the visible... anti slicing ones were important. THe AI"s used were deemed helpful but non-essential in systems which allowed for Atrisians to control everything but the AI's acted as powerful assistants who couldn't take over. Next was redundant security measures for filtration and air productions... oxygen scrubbed both inside and outside of the palaces. Which could give the air a sort of recycled tastes yes... it tingled the nose but it also meant there wasn't anything harmful within it. Stress testing of the infrastructure was important as they pushed to make things better secured.

Other parts of the infrastructure were also being tested and secured... financials, agricultural, engineering and manufacturing data that went a long way towards preserving and rebuilding. Their rapid constructors which were made to recover from attacks. THey had developed the technology from need above anything but there was something to it... if they could improve upon it further they might be able to turn it into something even better for terraforming equipment to send to worlds aside from the massive stations that sat on the surface and converted the atmosphere. IT would still take years in most cases but these could give a kick start.

THey had other things that might work aas well they were certainly not lacking in terms of technology aadvances which were still looking for ways to improve upon. JUnko wasn't going to be kidding when she told Latyuo there were much more surprises from Atrisian engineers which seemed to make the smuggler happy.. she and Supisy were finding their place here in the Commonwealth and it went a long way to showing them what they would have access to in terms of tools to assist their every day lives and improving on or fixing the deviant was imortant with as little or as much in terms of technology that Latyuo wanted.

Junko was even looking at a few of the other things they could improve upon... personal security as she had her handmaidens in some of the finest silks but atrisian silks were highly protective and made to be durable... they were still working on some others... if they could get some special elemental silks or higher rated combat silks it would go a long way. THe bringing them together would be easier then as well as the outfits while protective would need to weigh enough to not impede movement. THeir shielding technology might also need some small scale improvements but overall it was hard to argue with it being as effective is it is for now.

Pulling herself out of it though Junko smiled and found a place to sit.. her throne as the doors were opening and people were coming in. Villagers, retainers and anyone who needed to ask for help or advice... she welcomed all of them and the first throngs of people were coming. After the festival well there was a lot of tourists and that could mean things were rowdy.. the droids had been busy cleaning she knew and fixing a few peoples problems... ancient disagreements between families but it wasn't violent... ornery sure but not knock down drag out violent like some might think. Battles and fights were settled in the arena.

JUnko had moved throughout her palace and come to the water gardens... a pale imitation of the ones at the academy or with the keisei but they were still meant to be beautiful. The pale coloring of the stone with sunken pools that were for feet and just barely touched the visible roots of the trees. The shade provided and small basins where the fruit dropped and was collected by the droids. Fountains sending sprays of water up that went around and covered it in a small degree of permanent cooling mist that you could feel on your skin. THey had worked on much more here to have the trees be special in their multi colored shades and hues.

Some of her handmaidens were there lounging around... testing their musical instruments or having small amounts of food and drink. SHe could see them and with how secure the palace was and how hard they worked well.. she wasn't going to bother them to much. Finding a place in the water garden as they straightened up a little but were now observing and paying attention in case they were needed for anything. Junko nodded her head to let them relax whiel she took a seat and would enjoy herself. "IT is alright... just going to enjoy the sun as it were and maybe some fruit." A smile on her face that got wider when she saw Ai there lounging on one of the raised platforms.

Her statement settled most of them down... some looked a little suspicious as they knew their princess... they knew she didn't just relax for the most part. The smaller droids bringing some of the fruit that had freshly fallen and was slightly over ripe in a good way. So that the juice that came out when she bit into them popped in her mouth. Purely delicious and wonderful before she was looking up into the blue sky and stretching out. Her makie droid coming in next to her before the princess pulled up her screen and information for herself. She could work on one or two things while here enjoying the mist and coolness even in the sun of the gardens.

"Is everythign to your liking princess?" She looked up and Kanna was there with Jubei as Junko nodded taking in the sight of their bikini's. "Oh it is now that you both are here." A smile on her face for it and well they had more then enough time in her opinion and this was more then enough awesome for the pairs of them. "THhe construction efforts have been really good and the ones creating these new strands of fruit trees." There was the smile on her face... the look at the two and she held her arms up. "Alright, work time over... I finished my duties... time for cuddling." She said it and got eye rolls but the two of them sat down with her while she squeezed in between.

There were more snickers but JUnko just enjoyed where she was... a contented smile on her face when Kanna spoke. "Hmm doesn't look like you finished all of your work princess." SHe said it and JUnko opened her eyes while laying there and nodded her head. "Yes I did." Kanna looked at her and sspoke as JUnko was there. "No you still have these things from Alderaan that need to be addressed with Faith and Amalia... both of them have extended a fair deal for relations." Kanna said it and remained firm... to JUnkos grin but she looked for some support but wasn't getting it from the others who all seemed to be taking the half chiss atrisians side.

"But but but." SHe said it and looked at the group of them. "Hey you don't work for her... you work for me." She pouted and crossed her arms to snickers and hugs... lots of hugs. "We just want you to enjoy yourself princess, be happy." Jubei said it as she was standing there and climbed onto the large pile of them.. the chairs compensating for the added weight with repulsors but something was going to give... most likely them as the chairs were atrisian made to last... so they started to slip off but it was a fun idea while Junko was pressed between all of the handmaidens present and just smiled wide.

"Yay me." She said it and remained there just exploiting the fact she there but eventually they got off of her. LEaving JUnko to lay there and just feel contented but she spoke looking at the datapad. "NOpe... I have gotten everything done now we can just relax and have a good time." Kanna continued to look at her and was the most organized in ways. "SUre princess and my MOther wearing a bikini around the palace isn't weird." She said it with a smile looking at her... her mother was a lot of things but weird wasn't one of them and she had grown up along the coast it was more common she was just making a point to the princess.

Junko just looked at her and blinked but offered a smile. "Maybe but your mother is hot.... and pretty and works out... like a lot... like she uses the gym here at the palace when she is here almost all of the time and her ships in the fleet are all equipped with the best in terms of work out equipment... so like she maintains a tight body and figure..... and has the booty." Kanna cringed looking at the princess when JUnko said her mother had the booty.. it was just like flirting with Amalia's mother... who also had the zeltron booty... the reaction was more priceless then anything else at the time and she stayed to look for it.

Kanna flicked JUnko on the forehead but stayed there. "All of that aside princess, we really should go over well something now to change the subject. I have no real need to discuss my mothers... assets." She said it and Jubei was off to the side with Min snickering at the way she said it. Min making the snickering a little louder but she knew her princess would flirt with just about anything or anyone... most of them expected it and that was why they had a good time. Junko had the better chance with them of course as she prepared herself for the meetings... well at least going over the datapad she didn't need to sit there in the stuffy throne room.

She nodded and waved a hand. "Fine fine... but only because you are standing there in that outfit reading them to me and it is a good sight with the sun at your back." She said it and the sun was slightly diminished by the mists so there was no glare... the mist cooling her skin as Kanna raised an eyebrow likely and brought a long slender finger up to the first item on her data pad. "I see... very well my princess. The first issue will be checking on the new improvements that have been getting made to the fighters... the navys experimental teams of engineers have improved supposedly the conversion time between fighter and walker."

Oh she perked up it was always fun to see well their engineers and what they were working on... sometimes it was good and sometimes it was we improved this by a handful of seconds please give us more credits. Overhauling everything for a few seconds could be hardwork so they needed to be able to prove it but other times they had engineered far better and improved pieces that would go on to be sold from Sasori or used across the Commonwealth. He praise of them was usually because they didn't waste time and conversion improvement could be important... usually there were next to them no one using the technology as far as she knew.

SHe was looking at Kanna and she had seen some of the meeting requests. "Go on, what else is there?" Junko raised an eyebrow and Kanna narrowed hers while looking at her. "There is a request from my mother for you to meet with the chiss ambassador of the refugees.. they have been working to improve the world but would like to request more supplies and despite her says they would be given he believes that a trade must be made and negotiated." She said it and Junko nodded her understanding.. the chiss were well the chiss and looked at most things tactically as they didn't like owing others.

She thought about that and it was fine in the longer run, in the short term though they had worked to maintain and help their allies. Tactically the chiss produced strong warriors and politicians... mentally and physically. THe also had some of the best engineers in the galaxy so having them, zeltron, atrisian and the like working together and formulating ways to improve designs... well they could be impressive and dangerous. It aided not just in military but also in civilians improvements as well. Adornments for their achievements were able to be seen as they helped design the overly protective uniforms and clothing that the commonwealth had.

THe princess was also debating as Kanna's mother was well she was one of the main chiss the Commonwealth dealt with... when everything was said and done she had stayed here long after she no longer needed to getting a husband. Maybe there was more to it or the chiss didn't want her and several back who were here... maybe they had been exiled and after Csilla they held more political power becuase of a world dedicated to aiding their people... she couldn't be sure and in truth it wasn't as much of an issue. THey wanted to help, they had been allies and had the ability so they would do it and both sides would benefit.

Beyond the chiss there were others, the zeltrons and Mirilians were helpful... the twi'leks were greatful. Many flocking to populate their world and turn it from a sprawling one into a massive cityscape... Ryloth might be in their hearts but it was exploited... their people raided and captured to become slaves. THey didn't owe Atrisia but they had a chance to develop a new world along what they wanted... their clans advancing and using what they had and then opening it up to more refugees and escaped slaves. Entire cities were born overnight from the influx of those seeking shelter... then togrutas who had been attacked and several other species in small numbers but importance.

It was with those species that helped make up other things for them. ENsuring well... diversity yes but they would maybe be able to help them from the scar worlds but ROmi jade and the like for the jedi enclave. Refugees from the scar worlds who could relocate back and take equipment was important. the capital they would need for ships was important as well as the supplies. Junko had personally worked with some of their better engineers in that regard and they were trying to turn it all into a large scale project once they saw wherre the other groups who were working in the scar worlds landed in terms of quality.

SHe was continuing to distract herself... but mostly because among the group here there wasn't as much to do... Kanna was straightforward enough that she knew what needed to be done and where she stood... Jubei was there in the corner and Phaidor was well she was still tanning and showing her oil slicked bronzed skin to the world without much of a care. She did... Junko knew she was paying attention to everything going on but she had learned and was teaching the others her secret cosmic level awareness that made it look like she could be doing next to anything else across the galaxy and still be aware of the smallest things happening.

"And wehat do you think of all this PHaidor my sweet?" SHe said it and without moving her hands or head the woman spoke. "I think princess, that you flirting with Kanna's mother, Amalia's mother and quite possibly the queen of Alderaan will present dangers... not everyone is as freely enlightened as the Atrisians even the zeltrons who try and maintain some decorum... but I won't judge... they are all fairly good looking and hot... well worth the danger. Just be careful and remember if worse case scenario... we can double for you or even triple if the dates need to go to several different worlds it would be quite a feat."

Junko listened to her and the very idea of using her handmaidens in such a way to have dates with a dozen women across the galaxy was... unheard of... preposterous... she couldn't believe the unmitigated gall of it and brought her hand up to her chest. "Well I never PHaidor." She made a show of it but all of them were laughing as Junko had the chance. Rolling off of the lounge and standing there as she could feel the sun on her even through the mists. Her hand coming out to pull a piece of overly ripe fruit to her that was filled with enough juice when she peeled it and squirted on her fingers. JUnko licked them when she looked at the others.

OHaidor was standing next to her and grinned though with the others. ALl of them gleaming from the misty water around them and they could walk through the water gardens as the sounds of a few people there came. The pools were shallow mostly just enough to really get the soles of your feet wet but it served not as a pool to swim and really a garden just it was also able to be used for hot summer days to relax and enjoy the cool breezes that went through the stone. Junko had a larger grin on her face while she worked out in her head what they were going to do next though with all of the information. "I'll have to meet with your mother lets set up a date."

"Please don't say it like that." Kanna said it but she knew Junko had only done it for one purpose to tease and get the rise out of her. THey were all walking back inside... a few hours out there was relaxing enough but as Junko entered her palace she knew that she would need to see... prepared and work on a few things. Kanna was there helping her with PHaidor while the others laid out and set up the arraignments with which ship to take so that they could visit Ma-Kun the nineth world and home to the chiss refugees. Junko would be able to meet with Mara their main admiral who coordinated with the Commonwealth fleets.

"THis shouldn't take long Kanna and you could come with me.. your mother does like it when you come home and see her." A smile was there and Kanna seemed to think about it. "Our home is here but thank you princess and you need me here coordinating the others. A better means to control and improve all of our lives once you return and are able to get the progress reports on what else we have been doing." SHe said it and looked at some of the other things they had laid out for JUnko... largely winter kimono's that looked the part. THey wouldn't have to worry much since the temperature regulation helped with basic clothing.

JUnko looked at what was there and laid out for her.. she didn't need winter clothing but the fur lined Kimono was good for show as she retrieved it and her hair pins going towards the shuttle. Her seat being taken and information about the flight and where they would be going across the screen as she tapped her interface being able to pull up a lot of the information for herself. SHe had it sent to her interface but more then that she was looking over a few parts they had set up... she was setting the meeting with Kanna as there was more information going across the screen and pulling up some of the reports from the other worlds they were going to be passing.

She sat back in the shuttle and well the shuttle might not be one of her ships but it was designed with just as much comfort and skill... speed and a hyperdrive so... they could use it and if anything it would be easier to get around as the other shipss baarely would have to make way for them. THe ANshin's bays opening to let them through as well meant they wouldn't have to drop the shields so a bonus as they got into space. THe sights in the distance of thousands of ships working and patrolling... the transports moving people to the various worlds and moons they had and of course the shimmer of their own anshins for protection.
