Dev Shadows of Atrisia

Junko looked at the girl and offered a smile. "THank you, I do wish I was able to help you but... sweeties do tell me that you are eating and not just those cups of ramen." She said it and knew there was an entire room, lined with shelves of food yes but it was instant ramen, canned meals. SHe had an entire kitchen from them here and could get anything that she wanted. Sun smiled looking at her. "No princess, I have been eating from the kitchen... I know you worry about me but you don't have too... think of it like this. I stay down here out of sight and don't embarrass you... and in exchange there is something nice about not having to worry about food."

Junko looked at her. "You could never embarrass me... anymore than I have myself and if you haven't noticed... I have done quite a lot." She offered a smile and got one in return. "I just fret about you and want you to take care of yourself... if you can't come out and join us... that is fine there is no pressure to heal but you have plenty run of the kitchen here... you can have anything that you want from the fabricators... so your food stocks being things that will expire is a little worrying." She still had a smile though, she was prepared for a lot of it and they would be able to do a lot as she sat down as a lounge that was made for her. Sun had a chair that she liked.

Junko sat down and relaxed while she was there checking on the girl. The wider smile on her face though as she looked around and there were model kits on the walls... painted minitures of various races. "I see your hobby is expanding.. must have filled that whole room by now to be coming out here." She said it and pointed as Sun offered a smile. "Yes though mostly because some of the kits have gotten huge there is a venator meant to be one ten thousandenth scale and it is hanging in the center of the room with the star destroyer. ENgaging in epic battles as me and the droids worked to get the small wires and set up the fighters engaging between the two ships."

She said it and sounded proud of her work and accomplishments. Junko didn't disagree and the handmaiden was making progress... that she was working on model kits which required her to interact in some way with the outside was a start.. that she did leave the room was another. They might be able to after a few years really get her to be able to go outside into the courtyard of the palace.. at least the largely enclosed aand private section where Junko was able to be alone from everything else even in her private gardens that no one was allowed to go in if they were not part of the palace staff or her handmaidens.

Sun offered a nod of her head. "It has been... difficult. I am always sorry I disappoint you princess." Junko looked at her and shifted on the couch to open her arms as the girl came over interwrapping herself in with her. JUnko smiled patting her back. "It is okay mei mei... there is nothing to be sorry about. YOu will hopefully heal in time or I will get Atrisia to develop the technologies to allow you to move around the galaxy and outside without ever having to leave this place." Offering the encouraging words in a way though when the pair of them remained there... Junko checked her over this close with a grin that was on her face getting wider.

"THank you princess for those words but I know I am not like the others... and you just keep me because you found me." JUnko took a moment to lean back while she was looking at her. "I did find you when your ship crashed... I did try and take care of you... but you have never been a burden or problem for me... we are all damaged and hurt in some way and together we can work to try and find a way to recover ot at least we can try and make it all look cool. This room you have made look awesome with all of your model kits and attention to some of the details." The smile was there and Sun seemed to be accepting it. "Moon came by the other day she seemed excited."

Junko nodded with thaat... Moon was a handmaiden and beautiful but she was also a diplomatic member from the Kyushi of the Atrisian league. The different flavors of Atrisia gathering together to better improve the planet itself. IT went a long way in some cases and if they did it right they would be able to better improve their lives in the more exotic cities that were not often visited. Junko though loved working with her and the woman was skilled in both healing and poions... the Kyushi trading some of the finest silks in the galaxy after all. It was beautiful in many more cases to shell spider silk only lesser known because... stealth technology was not widely used across the galaxy itself.

"I miss traveling around with Moon but she has been helping in the capital and with her people... we even have started thanks to a steady supply of silk to make some stealth suits for our Shinobi warriors. Being able to send them and the dreamguard out for operations with the finest is important." She said it with a smile on her face though while Sun looked at her. "She is nice and always brings me a new model kit.. she seems content to have me stay here in the palace and operate the defenses." Junko nodded to that as it was an important task and it meant she always had someone she could trust... which went a long long way."

"The defenses of the palace and island in general is important my sweet... we rely on you to keep us safe when we sleep and make sure we are not coming into an ambush situation." She said it best while offering the smile. Holding the girl close while she was sitting there aand a screen appeared. The palace AI displaying for them everything happening in the bed chamber where the other handmaidens were stirring to various states of awake. There was more going on in the palace with droids and the biots that were in the palace. They had additional things being done and engineers were getting some of the newest technologies that were developed.

She knew the advances in their fabricators, the advances in their dimensional storage designs would allow them to make the palace one of the more advanced and that was even over itself previously. The shielding that could use the trinity stones developed for the lightsabers of her handmaidens were also an important thing. As all of them were trained to be able to use them. All of her handmaidens could hold, fight and use the saber to project a planetary grade shield over an area with their focus on three of the sabers. With a dozen handmaidens it meant they had back up and there was also the new armor systems her guards could use or display.

She was checking on many of the things here... wanting to pour over the information that Sun had brought up on the scanners so they didn't have to visit the labs... but it wasn't enough it was never enough as Atrisia developed their technologies continued to push further and further ahead. IN this case automated power armor that would serve as back up and a droid partner to a soldier so they could double their numbers in the field effortlessly when they sent in an army... or advances in power armor for medics that would allow them to heal and treat soldiers in the field while not risking their lives.... or she could see it a developing trench coat.

THey were looking at a number of additional designs... using the old Braal design from the mandalorians would be impressive if they could improve upon it or replicate parts of it. They were working on other improvements for current technologies like dimensional engineering of their turbolasers with what they had learned about internal power generation and molecular disruption to shrink it down. IF they could compact it spatially they could form heavier designs and blisters in a smaller area... just having the technology of the turbolasers there but weight and power draw would be minimal compared to other things that they had.

Junko was seeing some things that Sun was showing as well. Their tech was getting some attention and for an auction Atrisia was offering quite a lot as she spoke. "One moment." Her finger going to her interface as she activated it. The hologram display there for the moment. "Cousin Matsu, it has been too long. Atrisia has been working with the Star League for relief efforts and we would like to use your resources. Atrisia will match what is donated and it will give a chance for some of the stranger technologies in the galaxy to be brought forth." She said it and looked at Sun with a grin. "Last time we got some dangerous tech and were able to lock it away."

SHe grinned at that and it hadn't cost the Commonwealth or Sasori much.. if anything it made it super easy in some cases for them to be able to do... and cleared out old inventory. NOw they could do it for a good cause if they did it the right way which was even more important to them all. Sun nodded. "I remember and it is a good way to network... the Star Leagues records seem fine for the moment with no major red flags." That was a benefit.. the Star League was newer in some ways and couldn't be sure but Arla had seemed solid enough and like she wanted to help.. which went a long way for them in what they could do.

Junko was going over some of the collected information when the reply came... a charity auction could easily be done... of course. MAtsu was many things but lacking in ambition and resources to pull off something like that... not really a problem. She wasn't sure about others. Some of the major corporations in the galaxy could be good but they were also less active in terms of promotion and productions. Sasori was one of the few mega companies that still did both of its jobs on a galactic front. So it might just end up being Sasori products with minimal people interested... which could still go a long way as Atrisia and Sasori still were worth and made more value in terms of aurodium and darakar.

It also helped that product wise they continued to push the envelop in what could be there and done. The massive megastructures, rebuilding efforts, colonization efforts and resource gather expeditions gave both the company which partnered with Atrisi united and the Commonwealth a boon compared to others... it was why thhey didn't leave people starving or wanting for medical supplies. Fabrication technologies were the biggest thing that they could offer as well as dimensional and stellar engineering. She thanked Matsu and if they could manage it... well they would have a presence at the auction as best they could.

Junko was looking at it and prepared now.. she would have to get ready and while Atrisia might not show up... they would have apresence... they would make sure funds were presented and that there would be something valuable able to be done. A Sakuma fighter would be a beefed up vessel one would be able to get... they could the mystery box which might have some of the best things. SHe grinned to herself thinking about it as last time they manage to get some exotic equipment that was dangerous... good that it would be able to be managed in most cases as least. Junko finished thinking abotu it and looked at Sun who was on the couch with some ramen.

"Always with the food." The smile though was there and she came back as some was offered. Taking some fo the sticks for herself and getting a bite with a piece of the meat in it she nodded. "Wonderful... as always." She finished up with her and hugged her. "You be safe now Sun, remember we are all here for you even if you do not always want us to be... or to go outside." THe woman nodded and was looking at her while she went towards the door to close it behind her. Returnign to her computer to monitor Atrisia and the palace as well as for Junko everything around the galaxy since they were overhauling many of the holonet connections.

That was going on while she moved into the one area. Xifang coming near her as the mountain of an Atrisian tiger towered over her but he had his head down. Nuzzling against her smaller hands which made it really hard to not smile and want to talk to him cutesy style... like a baby... but she could resist as she didn't enjoy seeing that so doing it was something she never wanted to try. "Oh someone wants love yes." That didn't count as the large tiger licked her and the rough tongue on her cheek left a trail that messed with some of her hair. "Thank you Xifang... I needed an excuse for another bath." SHe walked with him and they were getting him some food as the meats were there.

SHe washed her face while he curled around her and she was feeding him. THe force humming between them as he might be vicious towards her enemies but with her he was literally just a big fluffy kitty cat. The saucer of milk that Phaidor brought was large enough for him when he saat there. Meats, milks... and as Phaidor added it some sweet cream to give him a little extra treat. "You are going to make him fat." She said it looking at the woman who grinned. "No more my princess than you will feeding him like that. He only hunts when people are threatening to attack you." THey laughed and Xifang yawned eating a little more but also having some of the creamed milk.

THe large tiger was purring contentedly though with it. Junko could lounge there with him on his back... the fluffy fur nice and warm but not too hot from the sun. It gave quite a sight to behold at least compared to many other things as people were coming to visit them all and get their attention.... an informal court as it were since she hadn't planned to see people but duties were never done. "What is it you bring before me Sayuri?" She said it and the palace servant was looking at her. The robes wrapped around her form with long hair... darkly tanned brown skin and she always smelled of spices... of cooking. "The kitchens are overstocked... more so than we can preparing the feast."

That was a surprise as they were throwing the massive feast specifically to handle the overstock. Junko raised a head and looked at her with a raised eyebrow though. "Really, even with all of the cooking?" SHe said it and Sayuri nodded. "Yes, our previous estimates of the overstocked reserves didn't factor in the newest advances. The flash terraforming technologies have allowed much greater yields of livestock and crops... harvests are faster as well as yields more and more. Terraforming and enriching the soil also helps... we will have more food and could have feasts like this for months based on the projections with the new information."

Junko was looking at her and she gave a nod of her head... an impressive sight... an impressive feat for them to be able to do but she owed it to that they like the rest of the planet were having the chance to improve and extend it to the commonwealth wealth itself. THey were developing and overdeveloping so much in terms of technology... they had moved post scarcity in many aspects. THeir incorporating other groups and cultures who were allies and seeking a home expanded and developed more genetic diversity to the Commonwealth that would benefit them in the future. THey might not be as open as the mandalorians but they were not going to stagnate like the Arkanians.

THe projections to the food was working in another way as all of the excessive food was set up and sold... traded or given as needed. Evn using it they had massive trade options of their stores just from here and she could approve where it was going... not all of the details but she was able to see the credit amount they would be able to trade it for. The amounts of it as a cargo went even longer as well so the Commonwealth could trade food. Charity auctions being a big thing and with Arla and the star league at least having started out interesting before she seemed to move to join other groups in the unknown regions.

It to her was different but inevitable... still the help that was going to Kiliea was important... the aid to Rodia and other worlds was there as well and Atrisia was able to send much much more in terms of supplies as they were developing and deploying the various aid stations. For medical supplies, food and more production services. If they managed to get enough of it across the Commonwealth they were planning to establish more hyperlanes within. Seeking to further isolate sections of it through artificial hyperspace breakwater yes but if they could mirror sections of it to be like the mists of Hapes.. they could create corridors to defend the Commonwealth.

THose stations would need to be saturated, the means to seclude and isolate while scouting and making hyperlanes that would turn the Commonwealth into a network of worlds... without the ability for the systems to just be accessed from any direction. She knew how to use the high plane and they had other mobility and transportation technologies... the developing means were getting better and better. The larger the scale would serve them well as interconnecting networks would further more sections of it all. With anshins, resource stations, defensive stations and advancing educational systems... mutual defensive means among them.

"This and these projections... the amount of Darakar that is being sold and traded... is impressive.":: She smiled thinking about it and funding some of their largest projects with this alone was... well some thought it strange she had pure aurodium outfits and swimsuits but even donating the majority of credits... they had so much excess that they were trying to find things to spend it on. NEw and improved clothing for the planet.. the ability for it to be traditionally made but also treated for better conditions and protections. The emperor and empress wanted and welcomed the progression of technologies that honored the past and thanks to materia they were able to do that.

"It is my princess, we have been able to fund many more of the projects that you have asked about including heavier research into some of the improvements to the palace and village itself. The defensive barriers and stealth systems... as well as the surrounding ocean within the hydrostatic shielding. IF we develop the systems in the order of priority than we will be able to advance a lot more the AI is saying as developing in them will cascade down across all of the others." Junko nodded as she was checking on it and smiled. "Done approved, lets see that it is done." She said it and with Sun they would have it done quickly as the biots and workers would get to work quickly.

"Of course princess, the other matters is budgeting some of the other projects. As you did we have been putting aside supplies and using them on the surrounding islands. Rebuilding homes, or installing storm shielding which will allow the islands to withstand the intense weather come monsoon season. Those will need to be renewed as for the moment the islanders have not agreed to a central facility for fabricators. BEing that they are so small it is likely we would need one per island and that is a drastic over saturation of resources." Junko turned her head and was looking at her with a raised eyebrow. She was not wrong but could have said it better.

"It isn't an over saturation... it is impractical. One fabricator is made for a village. The island communities are usually one family per island and they have packed that island... maybe smaller islands around them." She said it but looked at her. "Hmmm refill and give them some of the newer models we have developed. The portable ones are not as powerful or as large but for rebuilding equipment and fixing storm damage it should be more than enough.... aalso some of the fisheries. If they are developing it they might be aable to help test them out to fine tune them." SHe got a nod and the orders were made with a smile on her face.

"Are you sure that they will use them princess?" SHe said it and didn't sound entirely convinced but there was a balance that Atrisians were striking... between abandoning the old way of doing things and automation... they were finding it as having the skills was important... training them was important but there was also the ability to have them automated so that you might be able to focus your attention on something else. The fishing villages needed constant repairs as they didn't want to abandon the style of their hand carved wooden homes... but they saw the need than that all of them rebuilding after a storm they might need extra stores of fish and grains.

"They will likely at first but see the benefit... instead of having the danger of overfishing a spot... they can use the fisheries to seed the waters for themselves or each other. The hydrostatic shielding can allow them to hand some of the more nasty predators when they are further out or rip tides that would pull them to far out to sea and being unable to get back." Junko said it while she got a nod of her head from the attending servant. "It is not perfect... yet we will get there maybe at one point but compared to some... Atrisia survives and strives towards being better, faster and stronger than the others. We endure and part of that endurance is adapting traditional and new technologies together to make lives easier but not lax."

THe girl looked at her and gave a nod of her head to that... taking the interest for the pair of them as she marked her datapad. "It has been interesting my princess. My mother has adopted well to the new technologies and my father does enjoy some of it. He says construction is both the same and a little less... as it isn't the quality of craftsmenship anymore when building... the new materials will self correct mistakes and if you did make a mistake like metal connectors in wooden frames it wouldn't be a live and learn when it rots the wood... which isn't bad or required. It still takes skill to be able to use and create some of these buildings."

That brought a smile to Junko who didn't roll off of Xifang but he gave a contented purr sensing her content while his tail curled. "That is more or less what I would want from everyone... it helps that we are able to introduce it ourselves... if it had been another world forcing it on us maybe a different story but most other worlds seem to think in the Core worlds of the galaaxy where most civilized planets formed long ago... everyone is backwords and needs the great savior. Even the jedi sometimes but I do hope I came off as more or less one of the few who were understanding if only a little snobby... helped to hold them to a standard."

"Princess I have seen you with people, you treat them as one should without going full bleeding heart and making them the perpetual victim. Equality of opportunity rather than equality just because. Atrisia thrives because everyone is able to do their jobs and not just extract from it. They have to give in and help shape the world." She said it and shrugged.. it was the age old argument when it came to Atrisia and Junko in general... she knew she was a snob and expected from many better in cases.. she expected them to pull themselves up when many wanted to be in the muck or lost in the backwoods drowning in their own morose.

SHe waved her hand to dismiss the girl as she had everything and laid there atop Xifang with a smile forming on her face. "Ah but you will always love me won't you boy?" THe tiger yawned and purred deep in its throat which she could feel. "I'll take that as a yes... maybe... totally." The smile remained on her best bud while messages were being pinged to her interface and displayed... nothing major. Her private account was heavily filtered so only those with official business could manage to reach her but one caught her eye... "Ahri." She said it and the Atrisian scientist was one whom she always loved to see and meet with... Ahri knew just how to make things exciting.

The image of the top heavy Atrisian was beautiful.. she always looked good in her lab coat when she had it on but she was also a field explorer at times and went there.. so tight clothing..... Junko was distracting herself as she flicked her eye and the womans voice played. "Junko... I hope this finds you well and intact. I know things in the galaxy have been changing rapidly and Atrisia has been developing a lot more for themselves." SHe bowed her head. "WHich is why I am contacting you Junko... I need a little help. NOthing dangerous... maybe this time around but the ones who commissioned my research team isn't telling us everything and it is suspicious."

SHe perked up at that and bringing up the holoscreen allowed the force to guide her hand while she continued to listen to the message. Xifang shifting so that she was able to sit there on her back. "I don't know what they really want. The place they sent us to hasn't been used by any major government for centuries... but we found ruined labs, armories full of old Imperial equipment. Most damaged and exposed to the elements but there were sealed sections that could have survived. Things could be intact and they seemed not surprised by the news... Whaatever they were hoping to find they might have and the best way to make sure no one ruins it would be to kill us... but sending you this message at least means someone will know."

Junko listened to her and remained at the ready... there was a danger when it came to taking jobs she knew but Ahri was never one to turn down adventure or the chance to raid some ruins... she might not be a treasure seeker.. she didn't plunder but she did at the same time. She recovered artifacts that were a benefit to the galaxy.. she worked to set some things up. Specifically she was assigning a team to go to Ahri's home and make sure everything was fine there. SHe filed the information and a flight plan to go and search for her that her handmaidens would be abel to see as she rolled off of Xifang and kept the message going.

"I know things ahave not always been great Junko... I know neither of us wanted a real commitment or family yet but there is aa danger here and I might not get the chance to see you again." SHe seemed to be thinking about it and spoke. "Just come help me okay... you know I am not great with this whole emotions thing and it is much much easier just to search artifact sites." SHe said it and Junko nodded as she was walking and ended the message. Nothing new from Ahri and there was nothing to ping when she did try aand open a holocall between them. ONly static and a disconnect which meant she was somewhere not intended to be found.
