Dev Shadows of Atrisia

THe situations she could see was rapidly changing and they had two lifts to ascend... both non-functional as it were... they had to be able to get up there quickly when she could hear the turrets down the one hallway and then down another. "Reports?" She asked it looking at some of the biots as it was coordinating. "Several squads engaged, we moved the defensive perimeter to alternate and give you more time. While the turrets can handle them in the corridors the numbers allow for them to use bodies as shields to get closer... and we have been detecting communications. Someone is telling them where to strike to try and weaken our lines."

Junko bodded to this and Barca was looking at where the attacks were coming. THey were going for the different levels as well as on multiple sides... but the benefit was some of the tunnels were collapsed so moving debris from some sealed them up more and would make it harder. THey just needed to for those use their barricade frames which were in the gaps and then shield gates used to slow down progress. Scythe turrets could then be used from the ceiling. SHe was looking at others parts of the map while they were securing the stretcher to the ascension cables in the lift and preparing them to be able to head up and be at the ready.

JUnko was looking at what the biots had set up additionally here.. they were not supposed to hold it as a tactical position and it was meant to be abandoned. "We have kill switches set up to release debris." IT was pointing above to netting with small charges to release it that would clog up the entryways and paths. THeir equipment would disable and self damage itself to be unusable. It would make it so it couldn't be reverse engineered or repaired without an activation key that they could have. The lift lined with similar sacks that would do it and welding seals to fuse the doors to the frame so they couldn't enter the lift easily unless repairing whole areas.

THey were loading Ahri as the sounds of blaster fire got louder. The biots moving and securing more of the doorways as they were retreating and welding them to make time and space. "It is time to move princess, more forces are incoming and they are starting to overwhelm defensive measures." Not an easy feat but given they were in a quickly defended place rather then something the atrisians had established and built... permittable in some ways. Junko was ascending the lift shaft as the sound of non atrisian grenades were going on and the shaking could be felt. The biots deploying more turrets and starting to seal the bottom of the shafts as the first detonations were going off.

Junko could see them starting in the shaft as she was ascending and the timing was designed to go faster once they cleared. The sensors for a safe distance important enough. Once they managed to get to the top and she moving out and slapping the fusion strip on the metal of the doors and frame. Closing it as the final detonation went off. They were still under assault here but moving briskly as more of the barricades were being used with defensive turrets. She could see the combat biots engaging as aruni drones were on the walls. SHield gatess activating. "Princess, it is advised you hurry towards the next checkpoint. They are throwing a lot of numbers at us."

Junko gave a nod as they were moving down the hallway and secured Ahri to the ascension cables. Barca making a point and allowing the force to lift her before it started. She was setting proximity mines with the aruni as a number of biots moved into the shaft sealing the doors behind them. Junko ascending up while they stripped and welded the doorway with the sounds first of banging and then the rocking of a detonation. They were going to make it even if Junko needed to wade through these kanzer herself... she was resolute in that plan for the moment at least... Barca ascending and contacting her wadroid that was moving towards them while engaging in heavy fire.

Barca was prepared though as she stepped out and her heavy shielding flared up. The plating of her robes shifting in response to become a solid suit of armor. IT looking more worthwhile at least when her shoulder cannons came up and were firing off into the group charging them as the barricades activated. The kanzer becoming minced from the laser grating. HEr wardroid crashing through the roof into another crowd as two heavier combat biots were approaching with saso shielding activated. THe feeling of explosions rocking beneath their feet as reports of entire sections of flooring being destroyed and dropped on the ship that they had left.

THe reports from the biots said that there had been other soldiers appearing not just the kanzer and they had been shooting into both sides of the fight trying to get through. THey were working to protect Ahri and the sakuna couldn't fit all of them so they needed to get to her ship which had been repaired. THe rhion being used to convert and have many of systems repaired as it broke down some of the crates and materials in the hanger they had found. More was being set up got them to be able to use as she looked at Qi. "You and Miyoung get the ship going and pick up Barca.. I'll get Ahri to her ship and we'll take off."

There seemed to be some debate but Barca didn't question her... internally she could disagree but here in the field she motioned as the wardroid was making for cover and deploying its ablative shielding that they could use to transport the stretcher. THe biots were joining in as their shielding flared but held strong... it was designed as starship grade and absorbed energy and kinetic impact to strengthen itself... which was a benefit JUnko was noticing as the third party was hanging back but firing into the Kanzer if they tried to retreat... so they couldn't go backwards only advancing into the fire lines of the biots and turrets.

Qi and Miyoung broke off gong to the ship which was armored as it retracted to let them in. The Sakuna gleaming with its nose turret at the ready to carve into everything coming at it. Barca moved the rest of the way down the hall as she was allowing the force to guide the pair of them and JUnko looked at Ahri's ship. ITs fixed systems popping up so that she would be able to see them. "Good luck, we'll be right behind you." SHe said it as Su and the others loaded the stretcher inside of the ship. The wardroid covering the entryway with the biots before Barca and it were flying up to the lip of the hanger. The Sakuna above providing fire support and JUnko closed the airlock as the armor deployed on it again.

The ships scanners were kicking on as the armor was deployed... Enclosing them and the engines were starting up. Su running towards the cockpit as the biots manning the stations were programmed to lift off once they were in and secured. Junko moved towards the smaller medical area as she secured the stretcher in the stasis field which held it in place. SHe looked at it while they were setting up a bacta tank that Ahri would be able to be place in. The sounds of cannon fire was coming from outside as she had to admit... they were really accurate when she could feel the ship lifting off and unleashing one of it deployable pods to block the way into the hanger.

"That is one way to keep them from getting through." SHe said it to AHri who was there and looking at her as she stripped her down with a mask over her face. To keep her safe in the bacta. Then she was being lowered in it and held a hand against the glass with a smile. "THank..." She was weaker and Junko stood there when the woman passed out from the sedative now. The bactaa filling and she waited before heading towards the bridge of the smaller vessel. The biots in the weapons and pilot seat while Su helped with navigational needs. The Sakuna was moving around in front of them and clearing the path as some of the older model Atrisian vessels were in orbit.

"Looks like we drew them out enough." She said it and Junko was able to look at some messages. A cell had tried to attack Atrisia... they were stopped by the dyson stations and blown up trying to make a run through it. THey had also been engaged on a corporate world outside of the Commonweaalth trying to overtake Herglic security... which was a big mistake. HEre they seemed to be attacking cause it was just a fighter and exploration vessel as Junko looked from the cockpit at the biots. "Show them why that is a mistake." They were outside of the Commonwealth yes... they were vulnerable but that didn't mean you just got to attack them.

The biots seemed excited and sent a message off. There was a reason why the Commonwealth didn't worry outright about certain dangers outside of their own space. The exploration vessels weapons preparing and locking on as the Sakuna spoke. "Orders princess?" Barca looked and sounded eager while they were setting about with combat scenarios Qi would pilot and Barca would board with her wardroid and full clearance if allowed. "Standard formation, Barca get in, find databanks and retrieve, Miyoung and Qi disable the craft. We will do the same." Confirmations as the Sakuna's shields flared with jade colored energy when it moved forward firing its central cannon.

Junko took one of the seats as the additional weapons were brought online... her attention going to firing the turrets while one of the combat biots handled the missiles. The frigates shields flaring usder their sustained fire with the autoturrets locked on and not letting up its own assault. Barca and her wardroid deploying in space as it dropped effectively from the underside of the Sakuna on a pass through and she with it went past the falling shields. Right onto the hull of the vessel and started cutting at an airlock to open it up. Her own coms opened while the AI's tapped into them and started wrecking their internal systems to screw with them more.

"Were these guys really planning to try and take the Commonwealth on?" Barca said it over the coms as the airlock popped open and Junko could see it from the viewing screen.. bodies ejecting into space whiel the mandaalorian moved into the ship. The Sakuna blowing the engines of another and the first Atrisian vessels jumping into the system.. well not exactly Atrisian. "Princess, this is captain Marco of the Celeste, we heard your request." THere was a moment and she could see two other ships drop out from hyperspace and begin firing to disable the vessels. "Under your letters of Marque, we would claim thes vesselse as our prizes."

She listened to their intentions and well that was what they were allowed to do. They captured the vessels aand under their letter and authority of the Commonwealth they could do as they saw fit within reason. Executing surrendering people cause they wanted to avoid survivors was a problem. "Understood however I must warn you we have a unit onboard one of the ships right now. She is working to disable and capture for information." THe captain paused for a moment. "We can see the sensor blooms from internal explosions and a wardroid on our scans... I am guessing this is the unit." He paused as Junko confirmed with a blink on the comsignal.

"THen we will treat her as a friendly unless she attacks us. Please make sure she knows we are going to send a boarding team." Junko nodded and they were relaying the information to Barca who confirmed. Adding the captain and his team to a channel she could manage and coordinate with. The Sakuna in flight was bombing the engines of another ship as the pirate vessels joined in. THe older model fighters trying to keep up with the far quicker and more armored starfighter. It did give them plenty that they would be able to do... and even more as Junko secured their weapons lock for the more powerful mass drivers and they fired the shots off.

THe shielding flared from the assault... the older model Atrisian vessels were well older model from the time of the Atrisian Empire that was short lived. Sturdy in design but also largely outdated in terms of weapons as resonance shielding had been expanded upon to handle the turbolasers they fired. The anti fighter cannons they had in smaller numbers and the few fighters that remained. Mostly they refused to bring themselves to use the modern tech that had been developed and built for the Commonwealth... which ended in this as the Sakuna fired its main cannon and smashed through the engines of the ship.

THe priviteers themselves were moving in and sending boarding parties to handle the situation... the airlocks quickly being swarmed and Barca was showing that she had moved and captured the area outside of the bridge while the wardroid was isolating systems. Severing with its lasers the connections as it cut through the hull plating so the bridge was more a massive brig and they could control the flow of people and information. Junko locking onto another ships hanger bay as it opened up with the containment shielding down and one of the squads if it could be called that was quickly ejected into space.

Junko could hear the comchannel with Barca... could laugh at it as she was hearing how the mandalorian was injuring but not killing them. AN order she had but she was also making sure they wouldn't shoot her in the back. These might be exiles who abandoned their ways... who betrayed them but they were still Atrisians and deserved to have the chance to live.. they were not taking it and plotting like this maade them more dangerous but this might perhaps function best in handling them. Plus letting the priviteers handle them was best it cleared their slate as it were since they were attacking a group that wasn't the royal family.

"Princess, it is Sun. We have some news." The woman sounded well she dind't sound worried which was a good thing. "Phaidor and your mother were able to uncover activities of the group. THey tried to buy a space on the Anshin for a shop but the companies permit was rejected for questionable funds. At the time they flagged it for Jia Ren but looking at it now and somehow your mother is in contact with people in the clearinghouse." THat was both a suprise and not really. THeir mother would know about it, know the people and know how to handle such things. "THey disavowed and basically said they don't work with traitors so all information was shared and seems they have bounties on any of them."

Junko was listening and seeing the displays pop up for them, these ships were being found in pockets... some had tried to attack Frisal and raid their shipyard... a bad idea as despite them being highly polite and formal.. they were also tough and brutal. There were more at some of the areas Phaidor had sent groups that were being engaged. Kiliea was reporting the largest concentration and the resistance matriarchy was there prepared for a fight even more. THe reinforcements against them were larger but they had some Atrisian priviteers as well who were responding and tracking things down to attack enemies who posed a threat to the commonwealth.

"I am seeing other pockets as well being engaged." Junko said it as she was dividing her attention but she could handle it. Parallel thinking for a jedi was easy enough to do so she could keep firing with the missile locks. "There are, if they haad force organized it might be an invasion but they are vastly outgunned and out manned. It looks like AHri helping uncover them stirred them to quickly attack." Then Ahri needed to be praised more... a better chance for her and her crew in the Commonwealth.. notably maybe a new vessel... a stronger one with support crafts and its own defenders who could be used in case something like this happened in the future.

Junko was thinking of it and distracting herself but that was mostly because... there was little comparison between the vessels. Even smaller in size they were loaded with more weapons and capabilities. Even without the shielding their hulls vs the turbolasers were no contest. It helped when the Sakuna destroyed the engines of another vessel. Barca breached the hull of the one ship that emptied out one of the armories on the vessel. Old model atrisian tech and imperial weapons flying into space with deactivated droids and darktroopers in various states of repair. The priviteers had disabled the third vessel and with all three trapped their boarding parties were going onboard.

THe moon itself was not sending up ships and reports from the biots had them still fighting but prepared to activate self destructs as needed to keep enemy forces from getting them. JUnko acknowledged it as she was setting the course and sent off a message to the captain of the small fleet. "Thank you, we'll retrieve our person and wardroid. IF you bring your prizes to us with any information from the daatabanks you know Atrisia will pay you well." She got a laugh and it looked like they were enjoying themselves in the fight at least. "Aye princess, we'll see the home system when we return. Just deal with these traitors first."

Junko nodded to that as they were continuing and the Sakuna moved alongside the vessel... no need for the hanger as the wardroid was coming out of a section of Hull. Barca on top of it with her heavy cannon firing into a team trying to attack her. The last remnants of their vac suits there. Junko could see a lot more detail of the interior and it looked dingy aand in disrepair... before you factored in all of the blaster scoring from fighting a heavily armored mandalorian. As she reattached the wardroid to the fighters underbelly and went into the airlock Junko and them jumped to hyperspace. More reports coming from Sun about attacks being thwarted.

"It looked like once we alerted the AAI's and showed the patterns they were able to discern counters. It helps they were not able to use most of the new tech. The biometrics locking them out goes much better then we thought." THat was a good thing to hear, they haad developed the biometrics for security so hearing that their work... well worked was important. That the AI's preformed their jobs and alerted security forces and soldiers to the threats while assisting was also important. The advancements were there but it was still organics on the computers sending information like Sun was doing. THe harmony of information travel on Atrisia a benefit.

"We are clear." The pilot spoke as they were in hyperspace and Miyoung was sending them the all clear as well. Junko moved from the seat as she adjusted and brought up the reports. Showing the hardlight displays to the others. ""Attacks have been thwarted on several planets thanks to information brought to light by resident Atrisian explorer Ahri Aphra and her research team who were contacted and hired originally to investigate ruins on other worlds outside of the Commonwealth. Evidence shows there were other such groups contacted who were killed with similar business chances. Thanks in no small part to hostile forces and the fallout from the Resistance wars wish ushered in this era of peace and prosperity for Atrisia."

Listening to the reports there was some things excluded, they wouldn't include who died yet initially. Phaidor and Sun had just given the information and allowed them to reassure the people that things were not being allowed to progress as the security layers of Atrisia had not only held if anything they showed why they were needed. The System and all of its planets hadn't been attacked the surrounding planets and worlds had been to try and draw hate towards them but they were working to clean up the problem that they had created in letting the people live and go into exile... they couldn't move on and their ships proved it as they had tried to take the legacy of Atrisia wihtout understanding why they had moved on.

THe reports were coming in from others, Atrisia knew what to do and while it did have a monarchy. The Emperor and empress knew the power of information and words. GOvernment officials in the right capacity could move a lot more... and faster then the senate in some cases. SHe watched other reports though showing the other teams who had been contacted, hired and subsequently killed by them. How they were unaware of the danger but this showed that outside of the Commonwealth charter even supposedly civilized being were dangerous so should remain in their home system. Recruitment for the defense forces followed in case any wanted to join earlier then mandatory services.

"Nice work." She said it to Phaidor and Sun who were working. Barca could be seen in a video feed with her helmet off and she was checking her equipment. Qi was there and nodded. "We are just doing our part princess." A smile though was on her face as Miyoung was coming into view with tea for all of them. Barca bringing the smaller woman to her lap. "ANd while you see to your girlfriend and her people. We'll have a small celebration for surviving over here." THere was a small frown from Qi.... "IF that is okay princess?" The mandalorian said it looking at her as JUnko raised an eyebrow. "PRoceed, Ahri is in a tank and will be there for awhile."

THey all had the go ahead in some things... Junko was presenting a moment but the coms went out. She leaned back in her seat just breathing in and listening to the quiet of the ship for the moment. THe ones like Su who was in the ship came behind her. "It will be alright princess, you got us out and uncovered a plot against Atrisia.. the emperor will see you as a hero." Junko looked up and nodded. "Maybe but he is also going to wonder why we are letting our people go for such jobs outside of the Commonwealth. He doesn't want to fully isolate but he dislikes us presenting ourselves to outsiders as needing the work. I'll have to explain scholarly endeavors."

That seemed to get a look and Su nodded. "It might help and if you need us there to help I am certain Ahri will gladly explain or show support." SHe offered more of a grin. "For now though... I need to get clean. I have been in the same clothing for a week or three and staying alert I need to sleep... for like a month." Junko laughed with that and the biots seemed to have everything handled that needed to be taken care of so that was a benefit. SHe rose from the station and needed to head into the medical to check on AHri anyways... so she would have that to herself. She stretched out while walking towards the medical area to check on Ahri.

The medical biots were at work, the tank was secured and sealed. Ahri floating in it as the breathing mask over her face had adjusted to allow her wounds the chance to properly heal. Her throat and face were bruised, her body had signs of infestion in the blood stream which discolored her arm, chest and leg... it was a nasty sight to behold but she could see more of it now... better she knew she had been working with the force to heal her which was why it waasn't as bad as it had been. "Report." She said it and listening to them as the medical biots listed off some of the damage she gave a nod of her head in understanding.

"I see." Junko was looking at more of it and trying to figure out a plan for it. Obviously returning to Atrisia... but Ahri was going to need medicaal care for awhile as well as her researchers. THey couldn't just be sent away. "Su, make a course for my palace. Phaidor will make sure all of the clearences are ready so we can transport Ahri and the team there for longer term medical care." Her palace had a medical area after all and it would be a shame to never use it as intended. Junko would be able to do a lot more as well.. she just needed the time. One of those thigns was a report for the emperor and Shoma about what had happened.

"Bah I don't want to have to make a report.. they are long and boring and no one reads them." She was complaining as she sat there going over the information.. she knew her mother read every report... it was her job and she knew it was important to do such a thing... it was invaluable to have the information to discern a pattern if there was one or be able to have something for future reference. She would have to do it and knew what to use, they all had their interfaces for reference afterall and the files could all be set up for them to use. The onboard AI's determining a lot of what was there and vital. Junko just wanted to pout and take her mind off of it.

Junko was looking at more of it as she was putting the report together. She was worried about Ahri to much to focus as a ping came on her comlink. SHe shifted and flicked her eyes to open it as "Io." THe youg woman was a chronicler, a reporter... a storyteller on Atrisia and was since she came to join Junko inte palace working as the one collecting information for other citizens and people who were coming to Atrisia. Her family having a long history as chroniclers within the Commonwealth and serving the various emperors who were skilled in their information telling and collecting. Junko also knew her because the woman was cute and they had spent several days alone on the girls home island.

"Hey princess." SHe spoke and she was always so sweet to hear.. better she was maybe the most innocent of them all... more so then Uyuki who was missed at times. Her trying to fight and overtake Atrisia was a routine but she had a good heart. "Is everything alright Io?" Junko said it looking at her and offered a smaller grin for herself. "Oh yes, I have just been working with your mother... who might be the scariest woman I have met now to figure how all of this was going to look. We are telling a lot of what was in the reports minus some of the names of who was helping lure things away. THey are just being arrested and handled by your mother first."

Junko nodded to that... there was questions of who elped but they didn't seem to have many more traitors. Sun had found most were buried under layers of shell companies to the point everything likely looked legit.. it likely would mean they needed to investigate more and more any offworlder businesses having interest in Atrisia... not exactly the most friendly in some cases but they were able to do a lot more in some cases as well. "THe investigating is going to be bigger, Sun will be able to provide more information and help out in some cases if it is needed." She said it and offered a smile. "Aand it is good to see you, I need to make time to visit Jar'kai aand you."
