Dev Shadows of Atrisia

[Junko Ike]

Junko blew out a breathe for a moment and she allowed the force to calm her mind and body.... She was prepared for this and the doors opened as she looked at the scantily clad serving girls... Yue standing there in anticipation of Junko arriving while a drink for the princess and herself. Her semi selfishness was there and present as Junko embraced her. "Princess." Yue moved forward and was looking at her with interest as they would be able to move around... the palace was beautiful despite the reverence for her... JUnko wasn't opposed to statues of her or even relief murals. Busty statues that were set up in alcoves and Junko wondered if she had actually done some of those things.

"Yue it is good to see you." She said it and embraced the woman.. despite a lot of things.. she was highly skilled... talented and one of the best when it came to her Otachi... she was fiercely loyal as well which was a big plus like all of the others there for a time. Yue was showing her around as the outside of the palace was impressive and she hadn't realized what was being built. It had looked like a spire before but she could see the droids were working on another plan for it.. and she pulled up the design before realizing what it was going to be.... a massive statue of her... made so that Yue could live within and JUnko was flattered if a little confused.

Junko was looking at it more and Yue was showing her. "THis is the most beautiful.... we have been painstakingly recreating parts of it to mirror you and the throne room will be here." She said it going over the design. "At your heart where you love Atrisia so much, my chambers will be here." She said it pointing. "At your head." She said it with a smile on her face and Junko could see what she was trying to do and Yue did have her sweetness about her.. she understood that Junko held Atrisia in her heart most of all so it being the throne room.. the literal heart of the palace well... that wasn't such a bad thing... symbolism that Yues bedchamber was in her head maybe not so much.

"It is all quite impressive." She said it and looking at more of it... looking at the design she wasn't mad... wierd maybe... but she couldn't be mad as she had told them to design their palaces to reflect their personalities. She wanted to give them the freedom and if that meant something like this she could accept it... plus well Yue was making divisions that would be able to be used by her and her Otachi.. she might not be the most charitable compared... her staff were those who would work for her and not families... with plenty of soldiers in most cases. Yue was showing how skilled she was at a few things though and Junko was always impressed by her in those cases.

"We have also of course come away with an entire level dedicated to your wardrobe.. to make it protective with the silk and materia but also experiment with other uses... a cloaking kimono that you could wear when needed or experimental with the force allowing you to unleash the might of the commonwealth upon our enemies that sort of thing." Junko looked at her and the idea wasn't bad.. her kimono's were always expanding and outfits an important aspect of the royal family but it was also beneficial as the older ones could be donated and they were worth quite a lot compared to somethings... so outside collectors paid a lot which was invested and denated or used to aid.

"We can also oh... think of it pricness, matching cresses... we can make it so they are a binary system and empower each other through the force. My skills have been improving and it would benefit you to have something there to boost your skills... we would also be the best dressed." She said it and there was a look.... "Or oh we can adjust the stealth cloak we developed.. the main problem is proximity and if we could expand the field it would allow for better coverage or equipment or even shielding and with the new hypergate technologies we could really adjust it for transferring items between locations much much faster."

Junko was listening to some of the ideas and there was a lot there... a lot of dangerous things could be implemented with her clothing as well as beneficial.. that Yue was single minded and focused was a benefit. "That is certainly a possibility but Yue you are much more valuable on the ship... you have talent for organizing affairs and everything that is happening." Junko said it but she could see a lot more that was being made... she could see some more of the interesting take though.. she had some ideas as they continued to develop equipment.... and improving her connection to the force in a way that would make her stronger to defend her home... worth it.

THey were walking more and she could see other parts of the palace that werte being designed... the island itself from this angle was partially shielded... the exterior designed in a way that you could see everything almost amplified and with an awareness but she could see the shimmering shielding all around. The areas that had her feet on the island designed with geta that opened into lavish courtyards full of flowers and fruit trees. There were not villagers around it was solely for Yue and her soldiers or servants but that was alright.. there was a lift that went down into the island interior and sub-level with a few more things and the far-caster was being duplicated and installed for everyone.

Junko could see much more... the courtyards had other aspects to them.. flower gardens in cascading and areas all around... there were sections of them designed and prepared for. Junko could see a lot more around as well... going up the legs there were flaps of the kimono that wrapped around and made small terraces which held some trees or private gardens.. that could be used to grow more exotic and rare trees or fruits. SHe was looking at the design with her interface which revealed where more was around them. THe legs had chambers for production as well as experimenting.. her hips were the largest eating hall she could see and from the heel of her foot to the back of her head was a lift allowing them to be able to move.

Junko was looking over more things and information was coming about the attack on Tython... they were close enough to the get the information faster then some and the military feeds were important for alerting them and the commonwealth itself. Atrisia was working on many more things that they had developed and improved upon though... with interest andparts of its defensive network that would be observing. SHe could see a few things while the fleets were moving after a portal and there was a danger but they could offer some support at the borders if it was needed but she doubted the Alliance would take it... they liked their own vessels.

"Ah princess, don't pay attention to them... pay attention to me." Yue said it as Junko looked at her and the woman was offering just a smile... with some sad eyes for the moment. Junko was looking at her and it presented a few things.. Yue had more to show her, she had more of this palace as they were walking through the palace. Junko could see more and more of the artwork was her... some in poses she had never done but it was times she had recorded. Battles and instances where she stood before the people. Yue was blatant in her ideals that Junko was great and if she was anyone else this might be cause for alarm... it was but mostly because Junko worried about her.

"Yue this is certainly something." SHe was looking at it... she was checking parts of it though and statues of her... models that were coming from the walls... arches with her posed. Pictures and murals... as well. Junko could see so much when they went into one of the rooms... and it was filled with arching ceilings. The crystal statue gleamed as it reflected lights all around the room. THe sunlight filtering it.. the crystals on the wall were reflecting the light itself so it went through the palace illuminating it. The lights were there but they didn't have to use them... and Junko was noticing much much more around. "You certainly have kept the masons and smiths busy."

Yue seemed to beam at that and she was leading the way into the chamber as the smaller statue of Junko was there. "Oh yes, they have been... we have over four thousands statues of you to inspire those around the palace... I wanted your beauty to be seen and known by all in case it was not obvious to them." Yue said it and Phaidor was there looking at the woman while Junko walked with her and they both checked out the crystal. "Yue... sweetie. You might need a little vacation. THis is all wonderful and we all love Princess Junko." The woman looked over. "Not as much as I do." Phaidor looked. "Of course... but maybe some colors that are not just white or silvery... some blues or maybe a red."

That seemed to make her upset but Junko was looking at her. "It would liven the place up Yue... even my palace is filled with colors.. the murals are amazing and full of vibrant colors to capture me... but silks and some rubs... all of that color outside the palace here." She said it but was looking over a few other things.. the massive crystal statue for one was a sight to behold before the jedi princess was continuing... Phaidor only staying there as Yue wasn't always the best but she seemed to understand. "Alright... we'll have colors added around... later for now come and see the grand dining hall." She said it and opening the doors they led into a massive room with a table designed for several hundred people.

Junko whistled at it.. she had thought Min's dining room was impressive but this was... this was something and it was essentially made for her with a throne at the head of the table... well center more with two lines coming from it and weaving around the room symmetrically enough so that everyone could be there and see the table... and Junko would be able to see everyone. The table designed so servers an droids would be able to move with a groove in the middle for the serving droids as well as clear enough space servers could get in and out without generally being knocked. Yue seemed proud as the marble white table offered little give but it was highly cushioned.

"This is impressive." SHe said it and touched it... soft and it was the reactive form fitting material they used for bedding as well as their sleep pods. Designed to basically contour to the body and even sooth tired or sore muscles with small materia improvements... basically one could fall asleep aalbiet uncomfortably from not having it all over on the seats of the dining hall... though Junko would never recommend such a thing and was prepared for many of the other aspects that they might face or have to deal with. "You have outdone yourself here as well Yue and your palace will be a marvel that others will need to try and match."

That seemed to please her more and Junko was walking more... returning up stairs as going to the platform around she could see the airship. "The progress is coming well Yue... when it is finished we shall come and see all of it but for now we need to continue moving through and checking on the status of the other palaces in the shiled that we are creating here. You understand." She said it and was walking with the other handmaidens as Yue nodded and going towards the ramp was standing there to see Junko off. The princess stopping long enough to give her a hug with a small smile on her face. "You be safe and calm your mind my friend."

Yue seemed excited as Junko walked up the ramp and the others joined her. Yue remaining there as the airship was leaving and Phaidor come over to look. "You know, we all understand Yue's love of your princess but she takes things too far sometimes... most of the time... a palce built in your image is a little on the nose for her intentions I would say." Phaidor said it and Junko had to nod her head to that and was not certain of the best way to describe it... "You are not wrong and I would say she just needs time but I am worried about her mental health. The palace itself is sweet and beautiful obviously but the interior... the murals, the statues. I like me... but that was another level."

Phaidor was looking at her and gave a look at Junko... as they were heading away and the airship was under way. "We all like you... but Yue haas always been special in it and dangerous. Her protection could possibly result in haarming those who serve her or you for the smallest problem... we have had to deal with her being violent in the past if you remember." She said it with a nod of her head to the princess as Junko did have to agree to that... Yue had been violent and well they had servants... there were families that indentured themselves to others for care and status... a vassel family could rise far in many cases and it would ensure they always had a position at court.

"Perhaps... we will have to double our efforts to help her if we are lucky." Junko said it more for herself as she had been trying to do the things that would bring the least amount of stress to Yue... to all of them but she was not also successful in some cases... it was rare but she wasn't perfect... sometimes she was just awesome... and that was usually what had to be good enough for some of them as she looked on the airship and they were heading for a black spire.. in constract to what they had just seen and where they had just been.. the spire was a beautiful one... sleek and it stood almost like the blade in the light itself.

THe palace of Moon was something more beautiful as they got close the Kyushi handmaiden right there near her as she stood and had arrived quickly... SHe took her diplomacy seriously and would come quickly if she could which she had done. Her hair in thick braids going down her back and her robes on while she watched it coming into view. "Well I cannot promise princess that it will look like you on the outside or the inside... as pretty as you are and as devoted I am to preserving you... well just no." A smile was on her face thougha nd Junko gave a nod of her head to that.. Yue wasn't bad but she was going to expact the others to do just that.... a few friendly barbs.

"Well... I am a little disappointed but I suppose I can forgive it... sicne this means there is a chance you will be closer now at least. Yu will be able to better handle some of the diplomatic talks and efforts with the new state of the art designs." There were some looks and Moon gave a nod. "Yes they went with a lot of my specifications for privacy as well as streamlined most of our communications... once the newest systems are activated we will be able to do a lot more... like this far-casting technologies... that will be impressive for the lords and ladies who don't want to travel... just being able to move around or for the people who can get it set up for themselves."

Junko gave a nod of her head to that. "That is the hope, if we can make it now well quality of life more and more improved. Our people won't even need a ship to travel and they can start their day as they want... we will of course have to work on safety and limitations... it wouldn't be beneficial to have the ability to just warp into a bank vault and out again or someones home... so the technology still have to be refined properly but we should be able to do a whole lot more for ourselves if we are lucky." Junko was saying it and thinking of a few other aspects that they would be able to do with it... interest was there as she planned to herself.

Junko knew they were also working on more improvements as they had the smart tunnels, they had the far-casting and they had developed nanites that would work and preserve the planet.. literally converting debris and foulsome things into renewable resources on the world... thus it was becoming more and more self sustaining while the Atrisians were becoming more and more advanced with their duplicators and their advances in farming.. they could harvest nearly year round already.. they could improve upon the wider selections and they could develop some of the best in terms of their own equipment now that they had the means across the commonwealth.

Moon remained there for a moment as the airship docked with the black spire... secured in its area and more so when her obsidian guards were coming... Thick armor that hid their features... swords on their hips and back.. rifles at their sides. They were a lot more imposing then refined but Junko could see that they were not slow and bulky... under the right situation they would and could easily move around... that they also had heavy weapons and power armor would just end up being the plus and Moon didn't screw around like many of the others. The scent of spices was the next thing as she could see strands of silk being stretched and dyed.

"This is beautiful." Junko said it as she was walking down the ramp.. the guards there and escorting them as she could see over the sides and the palace itself was like an obsidian spire which gave her a grand view all around. She could see the lower sections of the island that they had been working on and the farmers were there... growing rices and spices. The scents wafting up to her as the salt in the air made it more interesting... cleaning droids purifying the salt water to fresh water... it would let them grow plenty of food as they continued... the tower being built around the notion of a seige while they started to head inside and it didn't disappoint with gold piping and black all around.

Junko was enjoying the look of it though.. despite being black marble with black everything else.. the curtains an obsidian... the walls a jet aand a non reflective stone for the walls themselves... it painted a picture few others could match. Moon was leading the way through the tower... cause looking at it now it was practically a tower.... aa black tower that was raised up into the skies... a beautiful one and the interior artwork when she saw it was frescoes... murals and paintings being made. It wasn't just of Junko.. she was one there but it was also Atrisia... and the wars and the handmaidens themselves... all looking much more buxom and fit... they all looked like they were muscle mommies.

"Everything is looking beautiful." Junko said it with a smile on her face more so when she checked on parts of it. The artwork was only one part of it.. there was the other better parts she liked seeing.. the beautiful tower and silks... which hung around them. Tapestries that were something even more impressive in cases while Junko got to see areas of the interior down the massive spiral staircase. A whistle as it went around the central rooms which would have everything and there was a lift the people would be able to use from the bottom or top if they didn't or couldn't walk. SHe moved down and was able to see more as the windows looked almost open but they had specialized shielding to protect them.

Junko was looking at it more and more as they moved... seeing the shileding of the windows when she tested it.. the air could pass through but physical and energy wouldn't.... even sunlight would not be able to instead going to the afterglow panels which would absorb it and convert it into energy. It also spread it out and the light refracted across the surface going over a much larger area with a much smaller amount coming to it. Junko could see some of the other things that she had.. the inteface showed the smart tunnels were below them aand connected to the other facilities which would allow them quicker transportation... other parts of the shadow tower... and that is what it could be... a piece of her homeland minus all of her clan and them needing to make a bunch of poisons....

"Are you growing poisons here?" She said it more curous then judging... there was a time and a place she supposed for all of it and the jedi princess knew the real danger came from not the poisons but the situations it might be used when all else failed and a threat could be that great.... or they were an offworlder who fashioned himself a god and never took the hint the people hated him so he was willing to mind control them for adoration. JUnko cringed internally at the thought as they walked and Moon was showing her that despite the tower being well a spire with the rounding case the interior used their dimensional engineering so it had dozens of rooms per floor and was able to provide space for everyone.

Junko could see more of the rooms, some were built for people and more utalitarian in design... simple bedding in alcoves able to be three people high... with more bedding in the center and it was spaced. This was for the hundreds of support staff and they had footlockers set up.. some of the rooms were made for officials who came and required their own private room... from what she could see it was laid out like one of the shadow towers of the Kyushu... which had tens of thousands of clan members within it. THe soldiers and workers for the palace were in there while Junko could see them and she greeted many of them. Moon smiling and offering her hands as well.

"It looks cramped but I know it is built like your home... and I have seen how many live there... with all of the children and no scrubbers... the air scrubbers will prevent sickness from spreading and everything looks like it will be beautiful." SHe said it with a small smile appearing on her face as she checked on more of it... interest in many more things that they had here... Moon wanting to show off some of the officials rooms before it led into the more modest bedchambersa that she had... it had curtains around the bed which was suspended from thick chains... silk wrapped around them to soften the look but you had mirrors and a view of the outside.

Junko understood what she was looking at here... the protective styling was used for some of their building... thicker walls and tens of thousands of projectors... allowing them to have the effect of a window but they were insulated and protected. She knew the tower on denon was like that and if they used this for some of their other chamberrs.. it was beneficial at least. Junko enjoyed the sight though as she stood there with Moon and Phaidor was near them nodding her approval. "THis is impressive Lady Moon... and even more seeing the silks that are being done... I had thought the sunless lands silks could only be produced in the Kyushu region."

There was a look of approval. "Mostly, we have experimented now and in the past trying to get the silk worms that we use for it to thrive in other areas but it has always been difficult and outside of the bota bubbles which perfectly mirrror the conditions inside of the region... we haven't been able to adapt them... even with the cloning and engineering tech to evolve them to the regions... it changes the composition fo the silk they have been producing and it is sadly not up to the quality we would like. With the bubbles we are able to on a smaller scale make some... so importing it or producing more across the planet."

Phaidor seemed to think about that and Junko agreed in a way... the bota bubbles were fairly new and they were an idea more then something they would be able to bring everywhere... a controllable enviornment compared to well everything else.. they could manage it down to the nano spec for ideal farming and harvesting but it was a much smaller scale of production only about the size of a room... and the sunless lands silks were hard to make compared to many other things since the worms were cultivated in the shadows away from any sources of light or even heat.. it was damp... it was cold... it literally was pitch black where they were kept and you needed good night vision to see or senses.

JUnko had in a way seen the operation... not really but she had been guided through it and was able to visualize it through the force as they took her through.. the worms were about the size of a decently sized pet... their hunger for plants big and that is why they ate special mushrooms that grew down there and were also used as a sort of poison and spice... it was a unique blend that could be added with a lot of stuff across atrisia and that was one of the reasons why others came and worked with the Kyushu... they knew how to do a whole lot of things and each tower itself had smaall variations that could change but didn't damage the end product.

Moon led her through and while Junko knew much about her... wel it still always interested and amused her. SHe was what some would consider a vampire... albiet one who fed on the force... she lived longer, was stronger physically then most others and had a striking beauty rarely seen across many other worlds... almost a glow despite her dark skin and demeanor... she was one fo the best when it came ot diplomatic relations and talks with others that came to Atrisia and were expecting to find meek servile atrisians.... that they usually would have just tried to walk all over and overtake through sheer force of personality.

Moon led her through and entering the larrger chamber thaat served as a bath house it was surreal.. the trees were glowing to provide light... from them she could see their roots and the water that was flowing through and around them... all of it filtering and swirling down into the stone where it would come out around the bath.... Massive statues of women with jugs that allowed the water to come down and cast various shadows around them all... the room aglow for a moment before they were walking along and Moon pointed upwards toward the transparent ceiling. "Asoft underglow to the bed chambers above and here in this palace we are even more in some cases."

Junko looked up to see where she was indicating and had a small smile on her face... soft glow indeed but there was more to that... despite the interior being in almost perpetual shadows and gloom.. there was a sense of life here... you knew that there were things all around... there were animals many had not seen able to move around and they were sectioned off with droids but you knew some of them were exotic and able to be anywhere... but it was safe as well... no bugs would get in the fresher or bedchambers... more they were there while atrisian tigers lounged around off to the sides of everything with their tails swishing back and forth.

Junko could see more as they went through a large chamber door and there were more stairs... more statues and artwork leading up to the larger room. The soft glow from the floor casting it into shadows but you could also see a garden to the side with glowing lichen and mushrooms... thick trees and vines as well as the constant scent of jasmine and rain wafting from it to coat and cling into the room itself. Junko could see the larger bed and chamber as the bed descended from the ceiling on thicker chains... resting on statues of women in various poses but their hands were stretched for various reasons to the heavens to hold the bed up that all of them could fit on.
