She Looked At Me With Them Big Brown Eyes (Underground Rebellion vs Black Rose)

Location: The Rattlesnake
Allies: [member="Jorus Merrill"], [member="Elijah Rekali"]
Enemies: Sympathizers of the Black Rose
Choke Point Dorn

Pockets of a Black Rose points of interest were being picked up and laid to waste, just by looking at the scanners. And Vilaz's scanners were picking up only huge activity of the geysers that were below him, yet within that thick mist the Mandalorian picked up something more than the geysers. Signs of life and readings of vessels lay within the geyser field that was above Vilaz. This scan obviously got the attention of the Warrior and began maneuvered his vessel with extreme caution towards the displacement of what his scanners were reading. He was getting closer and closer to it and the closer he got, the more accurate his scans were. Apparently, it was a laboratory complex and the IFF tags of the ships belonged to the Black Rose, and that meant it was eviction time for these vile men and women that forced their views and ideals to others whether they liked it or not.

Vilaz could only image that they were producing more Croa Sithspawns by using innocent people that were forced to be put this awful metamorphosis process that was far worse than Death. "This is Vilaz Munin," the Bounty Hunter said in an encrypted comm channel with the other Underground personnel, "I'm closing up on some lab complex that's Black Rose. Anyone wants to hop on this train, here are the coordinates." After his public announcement to his fellow allies Vilaz sent the prepared his freighter to land within the hangar of the complex.

Strange that the hangar doors didn't had to be pried open to make an entrance within the facility. Especially with the given situation happening in all of the Demonsgate system. After successfully landing within the contents of the hangar, he would leave his ship in his casual attire, his beskar'gam, and armed with Orar'bev, his bloodstripe cannon with cryoban, incendiary, buckshot, and aurek ammunition, and four thermal detonators. Comfortable with his armament and skills the Redneck would plunge himself within the unknown and hunt down any figure that was an enemy of the Underground.

Allies: The Underground.
Enemies: Time.

The roars of a frustrated wookiee filled the cockpit as the Millennium Falcon continued the descent into the planets atmosphere. Clearly Kira’s little stunt had caught Charlwook by surprise and indeed the rest of the crew as well.
“Look just trust me. That complex the one they just evacuated.” Kira was concentrating on the controls, the actual pressure of non-space starting to put strain onto the YT’s hull and therefor increasing her difficulty to keep it all under control. “They are going to send it up, boom. I just…There are people still down there.”
Charlwook paused and gave Kira a look with his beady eyes before quietening down completely and making sure that what was needed to be done was done.
“Kira you are sure of this?” Newka questioned, his little form coming in over her shoulder. “Surely there isn’t time…”
“I felt it.” Kira gave him a desperate look which made the small alien go quiet and sit back in his chair, his eyes closing into some form of mediation. “We just need to make time.” Her hand pushed the trottle as far as it could go and the Falcon roared in complaint.

As the clouds began to part and the surface of Demonsgate came up fast to meet them, Kira found herself levelling out the YT and using her abilities to keep the damn ship from impacting against one of the many rock spires that littered the ground on the way to the actual mining complex itself.
“Up ahead.” Newka piped up as the mining complex, no more then several large fabricated buildings that lay scattered around a great cavernous hole in the ground came into view. “I sense…Kira be cautious.” He disappeared from the cockpit.

The Falcon swept over the complex once before sharply banking and settling down in the middle of the largest opening, her engines still roaring from the energy output that was needed to get them here so fast.
Kira was out of the ship faster then the ramp could lower, her feet not sensing the change of terrain as metal turned to hard dirt.
“Help us!” A group of scruffy looking individuals came forward, all from different species and genders. “They abandoned us here, they are going to blow up the station.”
“I know, I know.” Kira had her blaster out as the group passed her following her arm that was extended towards the Falcon. “Quick get aboard, we will get you out of here.”
She turned to follow them, but something again twitched at the back of her head forcing her to turn back towards one of the nearest huts that surrounded the open ground.
Her feet seemed to have a mind of their own as she moved towards it, the sound of bellowing wind soon replaced by the wails of a small child.
The young Bith was bundled underneath a rug, he was probably no older then four standard years and looked scared out of his wits.
“Hey there, come on now.” Kira extended her hand out and took the young child who willingly accepted her help.
[Kira] Newka’s voice came through the comm-channel. [We are picking up power peaks, the explosives are about to set. Get back to the ship now, we cannot dwindle any longer.]
What followed was a frantic display, yet to Kira it carried on for a decade. The ground began to rumble as charges went off from their hidden locations throughout the facility. Each successive blast caused a small tremor that got bigger and bigger as Kira ran as fast as she could with the child. Beneath her feet the floor itself began to crumble away as the mines collapsed in on themselves, yet the Falcon was within reach.
She managed to reach the ramp, handing the child to a waiting Twi’lek who proceeded to enter the ship, the ground beneath the falcon began to disappear as Kira made her own way up the ramp.

*Thud*

The ship lunged sideways as something disappeared behind her. Charlwook managed to stabilise her quickly, the ship floating as giant streams of fire continued to raise from the ground. Yet Kira had lost her footing, and the Falcon was starting to get further and further away as she fell, the sight of her ship eventually lost to the darkness of falling rock.

A roar from the co-pilot and gasps from the crew had followed, but the necessity was on the mission and getting as far away as possible from the explosions was key. In fact the next time anyone did speak was Newka.

“Attention General [member="Jorus Merrill"]. We have a small group of miners abandoned before the collapse of the Phrik mine. Captain Vaal…” A long pause. “She is one with the Force now.”

Solan stood at the bridge of his ship as it moved through their little hole in space. The battle group he brought with him was in no way able to fend off any force with superior strength but he hoped that things would not become violent in the first place. None the less though he had heard about the existence of Black Rose fighters still active. The news was surprising to him, hell he had taken Kesh back from them without any problems and ousted their forces before destroying anything that they tried to claim was still theirs or in the case of their beast pit, wiped it from existence. But yet there was whispers they remained active and he was worried about what might be happening and yet he found himself worried rather what others would do.
For the longest time he had known that the Galactic alliance was uneasy with the existence of the black rose, but he had also come to realize they were not what he had expected. They acted on the lightside only when it came to their Jedi and with what the Rose had been... it would be dangerous for anyone to get in their way when working to carve out the cancer that the darkside causes.
He sighed as his hand moved to rub at his eyes behind his glasses, careful not to knock them from his face. It was hard to keep his own corruption under control these days. After years of use the darkside had done damage that he would not be able to fully repair best he knew. But there would be plenty of time for research into further finding ways to deal with the corruption. For now though he watched as the ships would start to leave hyperspace and Pempric II came into sight. As well as a number of ships.

Rach Vizla, the elderly Fleet Commander of Clan Vereen giggled to himself as the early warning sensors pinged. Ships in bound, size categories listed. One Heavy Cruiser, two mid-sized frigates, three light frigates, and eight corvettes. Granted the old Fleet Officer expected such opposition, but to be honest, he expected more. As it sat the interdicting Mandalorian Fleet vastly out classed its incoming rivals. "Drop two squadrons of Rekalis and a Squadron of Ra'grs. Hide them with a To Vhin up above where I am yanking them out from, and form up our escorts. Incoming in thirty minutes. Condition Red until we know who and why they are here." The old mandalorian leaned back in the chair and waited.

When the Kesh fleet was yanked from hyperspace a little early through the use of Pulse Mass mines, they sat at long range from the Mandalorian vessels, lined up to defend the choke point. The elder warrior's t-visor gleamed in the light of the bridge of the Skira-class Battleship commanding the fleet, the Kyramund out in front of it, below the fleet plane. Keldabes to either side. Support sitting just a bit behind it. "Line up the Warden, have the Jahaatir's at the ready, and weapons prepped. Alright boys, open me a transmission to the heavy cruiser while the Warden and Skira take full sensor scans of the fleet."

A moment later the King of Kesh would see the gleaming gold T-Visor of a Mandalorian warrior, wearing the sign of House Vizla, and the Black Dragon coiling around the Mythosaur of Mandalore. The man appeared tall and lean, his armor mostly metallic, with a pair of yellow pin stripe lines over where the left eye should be. The warrior held himself proud and upright, rigid from a life of warfare and battle. "This is Fleet Commander Rach Vizla, representing the Underground. You, my friend, have just entered a restricted area and are not flying Underground colors or IFF's associated with their allies." The old man's voice was boistrous and rang across the channel. "So, who are you and what government do you fly for?"

With that information, it would dictate the next set of actions the fleet would be taking. A short message was shot to the Alor from a communications officer. More of a heads up than a request for his presence on the bridge. If anything, Rach was far more qualified to deal with the fleet operations than Alor Vereen, but best he know well in advance of any possible shooting.

::Fleet intercepted small military naval force. Identifying in progress, not Underground. Rach is handling it.::

Solan blinked as the visage came on screen and glanced to an Officer who had put it through before smiling. "Do give me a warning next time Captain... Anyways." He turned his head back to the screen and stared for a few seconds. "My apologies Commander Vizla, my name is Solan Charr and these men and women serve the Keshiri Royal Navy. We were enroute to Demonsgate after hearing of a holdout of Rose personnel and were planning to remove that group if there was one just as we had on our own planet."
He waited as his hands crossed behind him and rested in the small of his back. There was nothing more to say than what he had, seeing as he had told the man infront of him the truth. Now he would simply be forced to wait as the Commander acted but in caution his fingers moved behind him to signal an officer off to his right without making the movement seen to the commander. The movement would be a message to tell the other ships to prepare incase of attack. There would be no hostile movements from his ships, but he would not be caught with his pants down if the man decided to attack him for appearing where he had.

Y'know, Ria was never too good at the whole listening part. Except, when it came to finding soft spots on the enemy. Between the eyes? Eh? Sure, no problem. The young slicer tucked and rolled swiping her duster hat from the ground whenever it fell. Her ion pistol was of no use for the moment, and instead she went straight to her blaster, the old timey thing was still good for the big kicks. She could see one of the bugs rear up and slingin' acid her way, getting just enough time to dodge it.

WAARRUUGHH - THOOOT!

"SON OF A HUTT!" She yelped as one acid splash just barely missed her. "Seriously, BB what in the blue abyss are these things?!"

Pew, pew, pew - PHRRAANG!

As her shots missed every thing but the target, then again burst rounds weren't really for aiming. They were more or less for a pray and spray get away. Taking cover adjacent to BB. The blonde squeezed of her eyes shut, and kept her finger on the trigger, waiting for yet another overload shot. "C'mon, c'mon baby, don't fail me now." She whispered to herself, and then once it was ready.

BLEEEP, BLEEP, BLEEP, BLEEE- PERRWANG!

WWAARRRAAAAA-

Bullseye. Ria pumped her fists in the air. "YEEEEEAAAAAAAH!"

Uh oh.

"Uh...." Ria peered, leaning forward just a smidgen to look at the now dead / still dying bug. Just as she did so, she felt someone tug her back down as two more bugs reared their ugly heads up slashing and thrashing about. "SWEET MOTHER OF SPICE-" Nope, nope, nope this was all just a big bucket of nope and Ria wanted off the ride. How do get off ride? Well, you don't you have two options stay in your shoddy cover or. "RUN!"

She could see BB now, he wasn't too far away from her she scrambled towards him and checked her body for anything of use, nope. Kark'n slicer's life on Nar Shaddaa, never needed grenades or anything before, now? Now she'd kill for a plasma grenade, or two. She readies up another burst fire which only seems to enrage the blasted things.

Objective: Beast-Mode... Engage...

Folding Space was what it was. Not quite teleportation. The science behind it was tricky, and the difference in the end was likely semantics. None the less, one moment he was on the ship, the next he was in the midst of some alien monstrosities. They had vaguely humanoid look, but just barely. For a moment, he stood in between a trio of them, cloak barely moving in the wind. Eyes were calm, emotionless, and his body still as death. Creatures eyed him, scenting the wind with upturned nostrils. Evaluating their prey, or so they thought. One, slightly bigger than the other two, turned its' bulbous head to the side as it stared at him, then with a hissing shriek charged with pincer like hands waving with deadly intent and focus, Glavos' death and consumption of his flesh its' main quest.

But, the problem with trying to get the drop on the Corellian was, particularly after the Aing-Tii had trained him, it was damn near impossible. There was no endless bag of Force Tricks like some... But those he did know he was utterly lethal in. Add to that the fact he had spent considerable time each day studying and perfecting Form VII, then blending it with his natural talent in Form II and IV... And what was about to be unleashed would probably be frightening to anyone watching him. Ferocity in combat was a dangerous thing, but the key was to keep the heart and inspiration of the motive selfless. It was a fine and dangerous line, but it could be done. One just had to be very careful and sharp mentally.

As the bug charged, he suddenly moved. But not towards the charging enemy. The Force blurred his movements and speed, and he was simply not there. Eyes. That was what the young one had screamed about. The fact they had followed him irritated him. He was pretty sure he had told them to let him clear the landing zone first. Kids. Mind falling into practiced patterns, the bug was unable to react as he dodged the charging one, and wrenched his lightsaber from his belt and activated it. A burning bar of silver pierced directly into eye-socket of the beast he assaulted. The charging foe turned and in fury ran at him.

Carapace of the enemy was saber resistant, at least mildly. So he couldn't just wrench the blade free. Focusing internally, he felt his momentum shift as he leaped and ran up the chest of the other oncoming foe from his side. The bigger beast had stopped, and was merely observing Glavo curiously, cautiously... Almost respectfully.. The move by him was as simple as if he were running on the ground for any other. But as he moved, he jerked his right hand mightily, and gave the saber hilt a push. This wrenched it from the mostly blind beast, and the hilt thunked hard off the skull of the other. Impact stunning it, Glavo called it to his hand and shoved it into the remaining eye-socket of the first victim, and landed with the saber in his hand, splayed stance.

The first beast he struck was flailing wildly, and it and the second one seemed locked in a death struggle suddenly. They would hopefully take care of one another in short order. As they fought each other, he stood still, waiting, eyeing the larger beast. His breath was heaving in and out, hitching air and gasping. That much of ability that quickly could still exhaust him. Folding Space like that was immature and wasteful, but he was used to fighting simple slavers, which he could often over-awe. These things were not such an easy foe. Circling each other now, he and the beast waited, contemplating, and Julius tried to quiet his mind. This would be won on grit alone, no flashy Inertia or Folded Space. Man versus beast.

BB had fought hard to get to Ria and was dangerously low on ammo. Slamming home his second to last battery cell he could feel how hot his rifle was even through his armor. Once he was to Ria he gave her a life harness and told her to put it on. Not even looking to see if she did he continued firing at the on coming beast. It was a desperate situation he could clearly see how over matched he was but his wasn't the only life as stake and he would not give into fear. With only the briefs of openings he radio the the Starr saying. "Sady, its' one big cluster kark down here, I need emergency extraction and fast."

No sooner had he said that then a couple of smaller creatures charged their position. BB was only able to get one of them down before the second got to him. As it pounced BB held his rifle out to block the beast but it did little good. The beast dug its' claws into his shoulder and through his armor. Her let out a scream as the pain hit him. Using his free hand he grabbed his pistol from his belt and repeatedly hit the creature in the face till it fell back, stunned.

Holstering his pistol he picked up his rifle and retreated back to Rai his arm throbbing. Looking up he could see the Shining Starr coming in for their much needed pickup. As it did he looking over at Rai and said, "you ready?"

Rach's eyes almost rolled out of his head behind his visor. "Warnings with Hyperspace communication are tricky. Especially to uninvited, unknown, unidentified ships. Kinda hard to establish HoloNet communication when you don't know who you are trying to talk to or what channels to use. Besides, handing out warnings to every uninvited, unknown, unidentified fleet would be pretty stupid, and kinda render interdicting hyperspace routes pointless." The Commander waved a hand at a communications officer giving an order through a private helmet comlink, inaudible to the King of Kesh. He waited a moment, seeing the data being gathered on the enemy ships scrolling across his HUD while he spoke with the waiting royal.

"Let me check with the Underground and see if they want the Keshiri Navy poking around. I mean, you are still a couple months from Demonsgate, so it might not be worth the effort. In the meantime, power down shields, full stop, and weapons locked in the aft position please. I'll contact you once I have word from the Brass." The Commander gave the kill sign to the transmission and went about his business on the bridge.

"Continue monitoring their fleet, flag me if they don't comply with stand down orders in the mean time." Tapping some keys on the Command Chair, Rach pulled up a list of contacts looking to hail the fleet's employer for instructions on how they wanted to deal with the Keshiri military forces skipping through the Kathol Outback.

"This is Fleet Commander Rach Vizla, representing Clan Vereen in Pembric two. Asking for [member="Alec Rekali"] for advisement." The gold visor waited for confirmation from the operators, sending the signal deeper into the rift.

A faint snort of amusement escaped the kifffar as she moved about the cargo hold, her anger subsiding a little. Brimstone, fire and fury incarnated. That had to be one of the more flattering, if colourful, descriptions of her temperament she’d heard in recent months. A fact, if she had been inclined to be a little more introspective, probably should have concerned her on some level. Probably.

No, not always. Sometimes I’m asleep.” Runi’s lips turned into her own, rough approximation of a smirk, way ahead of its regular scheduled appearance. She must be getting soft. Or maybe one of those boxes clipped her in the turbulence, rattling her brainpain without her noticing it. As implausible as it sounded, it was definitely the more preferable answer of the two.

There was a pause as she continued her work. Another all inspiring round or two of ‘clamp, click, whirr’ before she allowed herself to speak again, her gaze seeking him out for the first real time since he’d entered the room. Blatantly assessing, yet not as critical as it might have been had he drawn her full attention earlier. “
An’ you? You always this laid back, or is there another side to that goofy mask of yours? In case you ain’t noticed, we’re hardly knockin’ back umbrella drinks an’ chillin’ at Club Zeltros here.

As if to further underline that fact, the distinctly non-Zeltron qualities of Darn’s voice filtered in through from the cabin, the diminutive Sullustan announcing that they were several minutes out from their first rendezvous point. As much as she was loath to admit it, the man and his vessel made good time, even with his overly dramatic penchant for astrobatics.

Raachwaroo had been preocupied having a discussion with his droid over a plethora of topics and after a heated argument about why installing such insistent emotional programming was a bad idea Raachwaroo noticed that Bryce's ship was gone. Worrying for his friend he figured he'd gotten himself in trouble again and after taking another few minutes to track his position had passed he found his ship on the ground. The ground!? What ever happened to stay and make sure no one leaves. Groaning in Shyriiwook he bolted with his massive ship down to the planet below. Upon arrival he screeched to a halt causing a shockwave to fly over the ground knocking down Bryce, Ria, and their enemies. Opening his payload he dropped a large crate with a hook and wire attatched to it. Wasting no time he saw that the beings were rushing towards the bunch and opened fire with his rotating cannon on the front of his ship. Rung, the droid simply laughed in a meditative tone and cried out over the comms.

"Come along! Get on the box and we'll get you somethin' nice." Rung was reffering to the shenanigans he had pulled while BB was off making friends with monk jedi, a large chaingun and a few boxes of ammo. Mostly for him but this was a war zone and now he had to help his pretty and less pretty friend out.

Or maybe she was starting to like him.

That was what Gabriel assumed, when he localized that little smirk bubbling up from her rather sore expression. This made him slightly more hopeful that he would be able to leave this conversation alive and hopefully relatively unscathed. Perhaps an overly optimistic view, but all a man really had was hope in this world. And if that was the case, then you should probably milk it for all its worth, no?

Gabey looked up at the familiar, bombastic tone of Poo shouting through the comms with that slightly maniacal edge bleeding in. It suggested that he was having the time of his life.

Good fella.

Not an unreasonable question,” He replied after finishing his side of the cargo room. With that done he leaned on one of the boxes, shades slumping back down his nose and staying there at the tip - it just underlined the sheer nonchalance and relaxation this guy was pouring out by the dozen.

Life’s short, Vixen Fury.”

See, there were really two kinds of people who could be this relaxed. There were those who were convinced of their immortality - probably young, unproven and untested, not yet realizing what kind of Galaxy they were in, and then there were lads like Gabriel.

And it isn’t a fair lot we are usually given. In fact… life is usually out there to screw us over as hard as possible.” He continued on, his hand brushed his hair back up and away from his eyes. “So knowing this, you can do either of two things - let it control your narrative, become bitter and lash out at everything that moves.”

He wasn’t actually referring to her, even if it maybe seemed that way. Gabey didn’t really like judging people. As long as they let him do his thing, they could do their things and everything would be money.

Or ya can make your own narrative. Find joy and happiness in the little things, and not let life keep you down.”

Lethe followed all of that up with a shrug.

Or maybe I am just a clown with an overly inflated self-image.” A wink, followed by his own brand of smirk.

Ria turned just in time to swipe the life harness and pull it on. She turned to see BB getting slammed home by whatever these things were. She took her stun baton and went to town whacking away at the already stunned creature before firing a burst round between the eyes. Ria slaps in a new energy cell and aims a focused shot, once more she hears the familiar bleeping and when it lets go, one large overpowered shot that sent her right into BB's body hits straight for one target - missing between the eyes and instead hitting right into it's chest. "Son of a Hutt!" She curses, and looks over to BB. "Ready when yo-." Just as she spoke, [member="Raachwaroo"] shows up with this ship opening up a serious amount of fire power down on the enemy units. Taking the opening, the young slicer leaps up onto the medical cutter, and takes the moment to catch her breath.

"You alright?" Ria asks, Bryce once they're safely inside the Shining Star. "I've got a med pack if you need it." Looking around the cutter she quirks her eyebrows. "Wait, where in the kark is that Jedi guy?" Pursing her lips together she goes back to the drop hatch. "Just drop me back down with him, Jedi or not - no one gets left behind, or fights alone." That's just crazy, dangerous and not very smart - Jedi or no. The smuggler's moon wasn't a place to make friends or family but for some reason Ria always had the urge to go back and rescue someone, to stand with them in battle. Tylo Dustra might've not been the classiest smuggler around (but then when are they?) but he did know the value of a good crew.

Vixen Fury? The smirk twisted with bemusement over the epitaph, idling somewhere in the region of half-smirk and quarter-frown. Simply too blindsided to draw any real offence form it. That would likely come later. Vixen Fury. What in the seven karkin’ hells did that even mean?

Runi gave a dismissive shake of her head as she sat down on the crate, filing it away as one of the many eccentricities Gabriel seemed to present her with. People could get like that out here. Swallowed whole by the apparent vast nothingness of space, emerging the other side not so much worse, but definitely stranger for it.

You don’ really need to go tellin’ me the facts of life, pateesa. I was raised on the Outer-rim.” Her fingers traced the edge of the crate as she spoke, the varying degrees of sensation between her synthetic and organic hands alone serving as a staunch reminder of the lessons she had received growing up. Lessons learnt the hard way; as if there was any other kind on Kol Atorn. “So you’ll have to forgive me if I don’ buy into the whole, ‘life is short’ spiel. When you’re from the gutter, you don’ measure life by years, months or days. You measure it between meals. Between scars. Between loss. Fightin’ for scraps that wouldn’ even make it on to a table.

The Kiffar gave another shake of her head, pulling herself to her feet with a faint grunt, either from exertion or distaste at the soap box rhetoric currently tumbling past her own lips. She was sounding more and more like Jacaro every day. “Trust me, when you live like that, you quickly learn that life is anythin’ but short. Cheap, maybe, but definitely not short. Fact don’t really change much if you happen to be wearin’ a smile or a frown.

She offered a lazy, half-hearted shrug of shoulders before tossing the last clamp back into the box, confident that they wouldn’t be crushed by any sliding cargo anytime soon. Not unless Poo tried to really outdo himself, anyway. “But I’ll concede that tryin’ to control your own fate is preferable to jus’ bendin’ over an’ grabbin’ ankles.

"This is Captain Alec Rekali of the Underground. I've received Commander Viszla's notification and confirmation from independent monitors. The Underground understands that the Keshiri royal house has expelled Black Rose forces from the Kesh system. If you're here as an ally, Your Majesty, thanks for coming out. A few months' travel from here, Underground forces have just taken Demonsgate. The last Black Rose sympathizers are in full retreat. We're interested in pursuing diplomatic relationships with nearby worlds who've proven themselves, and your action against the Black Rose is certainly that."

Offscreen, she picked her teeth with a knife. The nerf steak had been a little tough.

Kreiga moved right behind Banshee towards the control room, getting her moves from the PlanetSec troops that once raided her old gangs' hideouts. Now she was the one executing the raid with her teammates, down to slicing the control room's reinforced doors, starting to override it for her team. "...A det charge isn't getting through that. Cover me." She took a bit of time to do it, taking out the panel, disconnecting from the network door controls, then finding the emergency manual override. In that time a team of soldiers or two might have come greeting them.

Back home, a locked door was sometimes all that stood between starving or eating. Cas repeated the mantra as she worked now, finding the clean hardware a change of pace. "Aaaaand open. Kreiga -1, Door - 0 !" The control room staff looked up, to see Cas already had her carbine and a needle grenade in hand.

Even her threat to the staff was copied from PlanetSec, and Cas had the time of her life shouting it now, at the control room staff. Lightly dressed and mostly unarmed, the undercity native turned soldier of fortune, she was not in the mood to shoot non-combatants. "Nobody move! Hands where I can see them! Anyone wants to die for loyalty, I will oblige you!"

She waited to see if anyone was stupid enough to make her day. Once the rest of the team caught up, she could begin her slice of the defense matrix's systems.

Rekha was working her way towards the Eliza's last reported location. The Troops with her reported back that they had secured the security office of the Spaceport, and all guards had been replaced with Underground loyalists.

Rekha smiled at the Platoon Leader, "The space port is ours, all incoming flights are being greeted by Underground personnel to ensure there are no surprises being dropped off to resist our efforts. Rekha nodded, 'Very good, I"m headed to the command post for this sector, if you meet any resistance in holding the spaceport let me know"

Rekha pulled out her comm "Eliza, it's Rekha I'm headed to you provided you are still in the Cantina" She walked in the direction of the Cantina, she hoped it was a nice place. She always loved a good cantina.

She stopped on the ramp as his voice called out to her beloved, she couldn't help but smile when he walked up the ramp to greet her. Warmth radiated around them she had no idea why it always felt like home when he was with her. She kissed him gently back looking up into his eyes. The turning of emotions and thoughts were reflected in the storm grey that looked down at her.

"Yes Cyar'ika let's talk on the ship" Why? First it was sound proof second, it wasn't bugged. She nodded to Captain Lindsey who backed up to allow them to pass but then headed to the bottom of the ramp with two the guards posting them there. There wasn't a real chance anyone would try to enter the ship, but just in case the thought floated to someone he would be prepared.

Faith walked through the ship with Draco at her side, she did not say much. She was thinking how to open this dialogue without sounding like a harpy.

"Whose side are you fighting on today?" Ok that did come out a bit sarcastic.

Objective: Beast-Mode... Engage...

Without warning, the largest of the trio attacked. Fury, reserved and channeled, burned in Glavo as he burst into action. Juyo, as the original variant of Form VII was called, relied on erratic and chaotic movements. Unpredictability, but less fluid and graceful than the Ataru he had learned under Marasun with the Republic. And much less precise and measured than his old standby of Makashi... He had taken their teachings and combined them, distilled them into something that was an amalgam of all three. Emotion and inner turmoil channeled into the unpredictable fury of Juyo, but guided with the precision of Makashi in that each stroke was calculated just so, and fluidly placed with all the grace of a dancer. Movements were blindingly fast, stopping and starting suddenly without any discernible rhyme or reason...

Fighting Sight... His most prized lessons from the Aing-Tii were on it. Similar to Flow Walking, but in combat... With its' guidance, he gained a sort of second sight, a way to see where and how the enemy would react. Reading it, and reacting himself, required an almost partition of his mind. When first taught it, the concentration was such he felt as if he were a padawan again, with how soundly he was beaten. Eventually, toil and effort led to him learning to let his instinct and intuition merge with his conscious mind, one taking cues from the wisdom of the other. And now, such a blending shone through mightily, his form sure, fluid, and deadly.

The charging beast roared, and spat a globule of yellow-and-green streaked phlegm at him. Why spit? These things appeared mere beasts with infernal cunning. If it had spat, then there was something more than bodily fluid to it. Senses steeped in the Force screamed out danger... Dodging it entirely would have left a side exposed to those raking claws, and jumping or leaping over it would have left the back of his thighs and his hamstrings exposed to its' deadly maw. So the only choice was to charge forward, dipping his shoulder. The pauldron on his left side took the spittle, and moments before the creature was on him, as smoke rose from his shoulder, he dove to the ground in a roll. A fleeting thought that the spittle was apparently acidic crossed his mind. Later, he would be thankful he hadn't charged it straight on...

Almost no creature with chitinous armor like this, excepting giant arachnid or beetle types, had a bridge of armor in the groin. Nature and evolution didn't branch thus, due to limitations in movement and speed. No predator would live long thus. It was most certainly a predator. As he rolled, he took a leaf from his training duel with [member="Sarge Potteiger"].... He reared back with one hand and punched... The memory of who or what was boiled and fuzzed, he just remembered a giant in armor nearly throttling him to death for it. Screaming in pain, the beast arrested movement and went to reach down and swipe, rearing it's mouth to spit again.

Mistake. As the mouth opened, Julius rolled up, grappling and stabbing forward, arcing out with a flat open hand to strike it's throat where the adams apple of a man would be. It choked, wheezing, distracted and distressed... Until a blade of shining silver energy pierced it through the maw and erupted out the base of its' neck. Most beings like it were controlled by such lower functions of the brain, the medula and the like. Striking there killed almost anything, as it eliminated the base drives of existence from function. But it was an especially poetic way to eliminate just such a foe. He lay for a moment on the ground, heaving a breath, as the creature rattled a last agonal breath, the acidic stench of its' blood and spittle stinging his nose along with the general smell of Demonsgate.

Standing, he grabbed his blade and faced the remaining duo. Quickly he saw the blinded one had been dispatched, and the third one was limping, right leg covered in blood that was thick.. Almost viscus really, like a slightly thinned motor oil. And a disturbing blue-purple in color. These beings reeked of the foul stench of Alchemy, fairly screamed of unwilling souls tortured and twisted from life conception to be a cruel mockery of their base form, a machination from the dark recess of some sorcerers mind. Briefly, his mind almost agreed with the others from the medical vessel he had abandoned. One man against a horde like this was suicide. Men faced odds like this and lived only in stories... But.. Death came for every man eventually, and seldom where and when he expected...

Draco followed his Faith back up the ramp of her ship dutifully, holding himself proud and upright, at his full height. The Mandalorian, nodded back at the men and women on the flight deck who simply returned to their duties as he followed the Princess up the ramp to receive his tongue lashing. They may not have known that's what was going to happen, but he did. At least he thought that's what his fiery princess was gearing up to.

"Well, for your information, I am fighting alongside the Underground movement. You know, the freedom fighters lead by a number of Jedi and other benefactors." He spoke calm and level. "Aren't you the Intelligence minister?" His voice was meant to be teasing, but he heard it when he said it, and wished he could bite back those words.

"Listen, Cyar'ika. I know Togoria wasn't what you expected, and it wasn't what I expected either. I just thought it would better protect the people I love and care about, mainly you and your family, if the One Sith were pleased. They know I care about you, that I care about Alderaan. I, I just didn't want to give them a reason to target it specifically." Draco, looked around the room, looking for any allies or things he could use to show he had good intentions, if not the best of intentions for his actions, however damaging they were. The big Mandalorian opened his arms and stepped a bit closer to her, to look down into her eyes, trying to hold her close to his chest. "I shouldn't have fought against the Republic, but, well, the Republic still hates me for Contruum. And I'm not a big fan of them either." Draco spent the early years of his life on the outer rim, then when he did join and fight for the Republic, they had left him, twice left him on the field. He had found the camaraderie he sought in the Mandalorians and in the Techno Union instead, and his life had been very different for it.
