Showdown at Kaeshana [Rebellion]

I wouldn't take it as a personal point of contention - by technicality they have more "Master" ranked force users, but according to the site rules, a master is just as likely defeated by an acolyte or apprentice - it's not always an immediate "Master trumps Knight or Apprentice". A lot of it is then based on the actual writing as that drives the RP opposed to ranks.

For any Stormtroopers who have not joined yet, or who have joined and are looking for something to do, you may follow me - we are going to reinforce the Citadel of Dawn.

That also goes for anyone else too.

Yeah uh, reinforcements would be bloody smashing right about now tbh.

I just exfilled to FN-088s 3rd platoon at the Citadel. I know Vaas and Graush are there. I know Amsel is on his way. Who else is actually about to enter the Citadel?

I only ask cuz GA is mounting some serious Jedi numbers at the gates.

I'm going to be coming in from behind with a few friends, after I get back from the second showing of Rogue One. A company or so of my "Skalder" Tanks and some fun Weaponry.

yeah...the Citadel is definitely taken a beating. At least you got me with you now, though I got a Jedi a little mad at me by sniping some of her unit. Im sure Vaas and Grausch are going to open some whoop. Today is our Independence Day!!!!

Bump! Not too late to get involved if you're not already, and there's still plenty of time to link up your stories and work to tell connected, compelling stories. Keep it tight, keep it focused, remember our victory conditions, and we cannot lose.

Post here, or in the Discord, or see me, [member="Rolf Amsel"], or [member="Ludolf Vaas"] if you'd like to get involved!

Please continue to show good faith by NOT calling hits on their forces. Not only is it considered impolite and improper RP ettiquete but also against the spirit of the board rules.

I know it can be frustrating when it feels like our posts are going ignored or like we are the only ones who want to take hits. I can't guarantee a judgement in our favor of course, but we WILL lose if we start playing dirty or against the rules. If you guys ever feel stuck, be sure to PM myself or message us, so we can help!

Additionally, always remember if you are having difficulties with posts made by other writers, please PM them and kindly ask them to explain or edit their posts. If you feel uncomfortable doing so, please bring it to a faction admin or myself first, thanks! Keep up the solid work guys and gals, you all are fabulous!

Recall, the "winning" of objectives or PvP combat is no longer a consideration in determining victory.

The victor is the side that tells the most cohesive story, through teamwork and collaboration, and a minimum of OOC drama. I think the point that [member="Rolf Amsel"] makes is that we shouldn't take an action that might threaten to mire us in OOC drama or arguments that might give the opposition the advantage.

Focus on storytelling. If they are calling hits, then ignore them and just focus on your story. It's how the Primeval got through Wayland, its how the Mandalorians got through Roche, and its how the Mandalorians got through Kashyyyk).

Do I like it? No, but I hail from a board where people engaging in PvP collaborated together to create a mutual story. And that just doesn't happen here.
