Auction Spaarti Creations Shares Auction

| [member="Caius Flavian"] | [member="Geral Varta"] |

//To Senator Flavian; Senator Varta.

On the contrary, Senator, I harbor no ill feelings for you. Sometimes in business, not all your investments come out on top. It was a shame what happened to Imperial Arms Incorporated, but the past is the past and there is nothing we can do about that now. As we communicate, it would seem that our competition has launched a substantial bid for the company. I am willing to increase my proposed sum to 30,000,000cr, if the Republic is ready to increase their own proposed sums to match or surpass our competition.

I will pass on what I know about Particia Susan Garter, CEO of Spaarti Creations. She is invested in rare and hard to get resources, such as Cortosis or Beskar ores. But it doesn't stop their with metals. She is interested in Force artifacts, weaponry, contracts -- anything that could be sold on for profit or to be used for her own agenda, which seems to be entirely based around profit.

Is it possible that the Republic could add something else to their bids, other than credits? This would go a long way to secure the company.

//To Mr Solomon.

On the contrary, Mr Solomon, I am very interested in doing business with you. I find you to be a highly intelligent, wise and powerful man that I would like to call friend, should you allow it. The bid that you have made for Spaarti Creations is substantial, showcasing all the aforementioned attributes. It is impressive.

The 155m sum that you have pulled together would make my offer of 40m seem unnecessary at this point. I know Miss Garter well, as she is a close associate of mine and she is likely to have taken a strong leaning towards your bid, given the items you have put forward on top of the credit total. My interest in Spaarti Creations laid in the cloning technology. I do not need to be a shareholder to have access to the Spaarti cloning technology, if the owners of the corporation would allow me the access.

With all this in mind, I have 40m credits to spend on this venture and it is available for use. Can we negotiate a deal between our two parties?

Alicia Drey.\\

[member="Alric Kuhn"] would be able to feel her rumbling chuckle at his back. Nuzzling his cheek with hers, Danger gave a small exhale. Auburn and silver streaked hair fell forward, all half tousled wild tresses in a disarray. Very unlike the typically coiffed auburn mane the Queen of Trade was known to have. Married life suited her. It shown in her smile and the glow that she basked in. A welcomed change, no doubt, from the singular mindset she had in the past. Her life had solely been in expanding Arceneau Trade into the conglomerate it now was.

That changed.

"Hmm... well, they are certainly adamant about purchasing this company." her voice fell an octave, humor and bafflement washing over her expression. "Knowing Miss Raaf, she won't be too pleased on losing the chance at majority holdin's"

A small stretch would have the woman lean a bit more over the side of the bed, her finger sliding upon the mobile holo-terminal's screen to bring up the current bids.

"One hundred and fifty five million credits..." a low whistle would follow. "Certainly not a lightsaber, but getting up there." that was a quip towards the last bit of titillating tales. Danger skimmed over the other items offered. All of which she could easily match if she so desired. Alric as well. Both owned Aurodium mines, and that wasn't including the mines for cortosis, phrik, beskar, Isotope-5... honestly, in their lengthy career of building their companies, there was very little that each didn't have.

"I wonder..." she mused, a slow knowing grin drawing up over her lips. A second later she turned to the Tetan. "Oh, were you going to use Saeva to guard the Wildlife Preserve?" another thought came to mind, but she was still watching the bidding.

All things come in time.

//To: Alicia Drey

Dear miss Drey, should we become outbid, and you assist our bid, I will give you as much access that I approve, so long as I stay Co-Owner, a permanent Contract deal. But only on my terms, with no shares, stocks, or entitlements. Should we win without a contract between us, I will still offer you assistance in your endeavors, up until you are the one doing any wrong, just as I always have done.

"Guards?" Alric said softly as he peered at the numbers scrolling across the screen. "What for?"

He'd never in the world thought that the wild-life preserve needed guards. "I doubt anyone would attack the preserve, and for internal security...well, perhaps it would be best to leave that to experts, no? I don't think Saeva is quite qualified to serve as Rangers against deadly animals."

Alric mused for a moment.

"Then again perhaps Kiran can begin a new training regiment." That would be quite interesting, Rangers, Hunters, that sort of thing. He had no idea when something like that would come in handy, the ability for Saeva to work against dangerous animals, but the thought was enough that it actually caused Alric to laugh a bit, his rolling chuckle giving Danger a healthy mammaquatita. He shook his head as the laugh slowly left him, though his expression grew slightly more stern. "I quite like that idea, actually."

He mused for a moment more, then shifted so he could press a kiss on Danger's skin. "Perhaps we'll garner Spaarti's technology through other means."

A ping would be sent to those bidding for the auction as your standard pop up, yes even the ad blocker of Alric Kuhn could not stop Spaarti selling out one last time. Spaarti's charming yet frightening mascot DNA Dan would direct them to Spaarti's holonet page with Spaarti's unofficial motto at the bottom.

Here at Spaarti Creations, we'll do anything for money

If the Kuhns wanted Spaarti's technology they could simply buy it and reverse engineer it, because the owners did not care, like at all.

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

Danger was far more interested in the path the Kuhn was now taking. A throaty chuckle bubbled out of her throat. "Are you going to stress Kiran out again?" she would tease, rolling a bit off of him to his right so she could lay on her side facing him. A few more beeps bloomed upon the screen of their mobile holo terminal, and Danger gave it a courtesy glance. Was it another bid? Oh, pop up ads.

Ironically about Spaarti.

She gave another chuckle. Her hand came up, moving to caress his bristled cheek. A softening expression swept over her visage, and her green eyes regarded the deep blue of his own. "Mmm, rangers would be interesting." a small perk of a brow came next, and a shift swept the length of her hair cascading down her back. One arm came up to cup her own chin, using it for balance as she lay upon the bed.

"Think we'll have some of the more dangerous critters?" she would ask him. Ten thousand meters was quite extensive. If they could create a balance, it would be nice to see. A glance peered down upon the bids.

"Well, the bids of Matsu Ike has not shown acceptance of the aid. So that may fall through. Unless she accepts them. Nor has Varta upped her bid." she told her husband. The Kuhns were not aware of any backdoor dealings. But all she could see is what has been displayed. Nothing has come forth from the Jedi Master to show she was still interested. "That means that you are the highest valid bid so far."

So far, no visible word would contradict that.

Martika Varta

Senator, Umbara; Committee on Civics & Infrastruct
Martika reviewed the transmissions between Flavian and Drey with marked interest. He did not feel Drey had much bargaining power in the way of credits, but was prepared to offer her a fair share of control for her assistance. The Republic had deep pockets but every ten million credits he saved the tax fund, the happier the larger Senate body would be about the purchase.
::[CC] Madame [member=Alicia Drey], Sir [member=Caius Flavian],

To Alicia Drey: I appreciate your contacting me in regards to this potential purchase. Unfortunately, seeing as how the Appropriations Committee is making this purchase on behalf of the Republic people, I cannot offer ownership of the company to anyone outside of the elected offices of the Republic Senate. However, what we can offer you in exchange for your assistance is an oversight position on the property's Board of Advisors, along with other Senators. This will allow you a portion of profits proportional to the size of your investment. A 40 M 7 investment on a bid of 165 M 7 (my next proposed bid) would yield you a 4.125% profit on quarterly earnings as long as you remain on the Board.

To Caius Flavian: As a member of the Republic Senate, we cannot offer you special profits as a personal investor, though we can offer you a Senatorial position on the Board of Advisors. I am of course, open to ideas in exchange for your support.

Sincerely wishing you the best,

Martika Varta
Senator, Umbara::

Martika ended the transmission hoping he covered all of his bases, then submitted his new offer of 165.000.000 7. If Flavian and Drey accepted and became partners of the Republic's SAC, they would foot their percentage of the final bill.

//To Senator Varta; Senator Flavian.

Thank you for your response. But a 40m investment for a mere 4.125% profit per quarter is ludicrous. As a consequence of your response, I cannot enter a partnership with the Republic until I receive a better offer.

I have just been informed Matsu Ike is pulling out of this bid due to possible future problems and backlash. I am regretfully forced to retract my bid.

[member="Alicia Drey"]

//Dear Alicia,

It seems the original individual I proposed to help become owner of this company has backed out due to second thoughts. I am pulling entirely from this auction, unless you want full ownership. I do not believe the two most powerful individuals in the Galaxy should own and operate everything in the galaxy as they would then be able to set prices whatever they wanted and people would have to pay that as it would also be regulated by those two.

I am unable to appropriately take the high position of this company due to my position. But if you place a bid for 50million credits, I will improve and add all my bids to yours, as long as I am guaranteed at least 22% shares. I will be putting my trust in you if it comes to it.

| [member="Galven Solomon"] | [member="Caius Flavian"] | [member="Danger Arceneau"] | [member="Alric Kuhn"] | [member="Reshmar"] | [member="Miss Blonde"] |

Alicia pondered the recent transmission with Galven. As she sat in complete silence, accompanied only by the sounds of the surrounding monitors and computers, a symphony of bleeps and bloops as information was streamlined to her, she reasoned with the pros and cons of her next decision. She did not want to work with the Galactic Republic. She had only got in contact with the former Commodore and the Umbaran because losing out on Spaarti Creations and the opportunity to own the company was something that Alicia considered worse than working with the Republic. She reasoned that she could handle the Republic and it's bureaucracy, if it ever came to a partnership.

So, if the Republic was the back up plan, then Galven and Matsu Ike had been the go too strategy. If it failed, then she had the Senators to fall back on. Successfully, she had managed to convince Galven to support her bid, if she was to make one. The loss of Matsu and her money could prove costly, but with less partners in the adventure, meant that their would be less shares to distribute when the company was taken. With all of this in mind, Alicia leaned forward to send her reply to her new partner.

//To Galven Solomon.

I have thought deeply on this. I have worked hard, for the past two decades, to accumulate my personal fortune, which I plan for my family to use for the next generations to come. With this said, the opportunity to become the owner of Spaarti Creations cannot be ignored. Furthermore, I happen to agree with your stance. Danger Arceneau and her kriffing husband own half the Galaxy already. I would relish taking this away from them.

I will put forward 50,000,000cr on top of your previous bids. Here is our future partnership, partner.

//To: Alicia Drey

Because of my past of giving free aid, I have acrued many allies who I could call upon for support should I ever need it. Because of this, it is also expected I come to their aid in return. This is not business, this is trust. The only way we would not win this is if the most powerful and wealthy entities of the universe over powered our bids, or our bids were overlooked and ignored. While it is true, upon the discovery of Swatrium, GOMM had emptied its spendable budget, it was because of Swatrium we could buil our fleets without the need to continue to purchase excess metals from other sources. These fleets we used to acquire areas of interest, protection for our people, and allies of powerful degrees. For this, Swatrium means more to us than anything, and it is the symbol of our freedom, the breaking of the chains, from corporate slavery. With this new venture we take, on behalf of GOMM and its people, I would like to give you access to purchasing Swatrium. Whether it proves useful to you whenever you need it, that is up to you. But a metal as strong as Turadium and half as heavy? Well, it's been useful to us.

Martika Varta

Senator, Umbara; Committee on Civics & Infrastruct
Martika followed the recent bids with interest, knowing the auction was coming soon to a close. With Drey matching Solomon for offers, Varta was left without a partner. Even so, he had the funds he needed, though so did everyone else. What Martika needed was an edge, something Spaarti's 75% shareholder would want that only the Republic had. Making contact with an old military friend, Martika sought information about existing assets that were perhaps not so crucial to the continuous war effort. After a short conversation, Martika had his offer.

Taeli watched as the bidding went on, some people dropping out, others joining in. She wasn't sure if the Senator had actually asked the Senate if they could actually offer what they were trying to use, she usually kept an eye on Senate sessions to know what was going on. Still, she sat there and pondered on if raising the stakes more was worth it.

She had shares already, so she already had access to the technology of the company and its facilities if she so desired to use them. Did she want to increase the amount of her investment in this auction? Alric seemed content to wait and see what might happen, content in not raising the bid much himself. Mulling it over, she sent a quick word to both [member="Reshmar"] and [member="Gir Quee"] that she was going to increase her support.

Bid:

Adding 35,000,000 credits to the current bid, and adding two Procursator Mk X-class Destroyers (each valued at 100,000,000) to Alric's current bid so in total:

95,000,000 Credits, 2 Procursator Mk X-class Destroyers 2 Nephilim Class Corvettes, and 1 Archon Class Repair Station

Damien watched the bids as they unfolded, more large numbers scrolling past. One such from a man he had never heard of, and Damien was left to wonder how a single man of no known position, had amassed the equivalent to most small planetary wealth.

But he didn't really care.

At the moment, he knew that the Sparrti Clones would be useful. He contemplated offering one of Merr-Sonn's old Planetary Shields. Being a man that held a certain control over the company, he could do so...

And the item sold once upon a time for 12 billion credits. Billion. With a B...

Greetings fellow bidder, I wanted to key you in on something. As long as Alric keeps his bid up, we will be continued to be strong-armed by the wealthiest of the galaxy. I advise you to join your bid with Alicia Drey's and mine. Upon doing this, I will negotiate a deal with Alicia Drey, perhaps with your attendance, and as Co-Owner I will try my hardest to get you a seat, or at the very least, a foot in the door. Of course, I will cheapen things for you, and try to get you more access to technology or what you would need. Think about it, if the wealthiest control and regulate everything, the galaxy will end up being ruled by the wealthiest. While you may be one of the wealthiest, you won't be making profit. Therefore you'd have to pay nearly 500 credits just to get a drink, and eventually lose your wealth. While Spaarti would not be getting you profit, I would make it as cheap as I possibly can with my position and Alicia Drey's assistance. As I have told many people, I am many things, but I am not dishonest. Whether the truth may get me in trouble or killed, it matters. Trust is priceless, and I wish to trust you.

Lisette wasn't one of the family members that hoarded wealth, not that she ever really had any of her own to begin with - she wasn't the type to take any from her step-father, either - nor was she one to be involved in business, especially something large like this. However, she was one to make up for her own problems and mistakes, and she'd missed her father's second wedding. Maybe she couldn't make up for that, and maybe she couldn't outright bid on the company with the handful of credits she had, but she did have other things at her disposal. She was, after all, someone who spent their time doing little else but laboring the days away. Working with her hands, standing on her own, those were the kinds of things she did, and did well. Working with beskar wasn't quite her specialty, she wasn't able to endure the long hours of making anything more than perhaps a half-suit of beskar'gam at best, but she knew the worth of the precious metal, and even if her bid made little impact on the outcome of the auction, maybe the thought would be what counts.

In addition to [member="Alric Kuhn"]'s bid, Lisette keyed in a small token - one trinket, armor, weapon, or other item smaller than an air speeder made of beskar. Interaction with family, and especially her father, was always awkward for her, so she neglected to send him a message. Maybe the auctioneer might let him know, maybe he'd find out himself. Trying to help either way felt good, and that was really all that mattered.

By this point the strong arm was real, and the planet timezones were getting to him. Galven was a little stressed, but he had to try. A Corporate dictatorship was a massive possibility in the future and that would not end well for many people. In the terms of credits, he had a hefty bank, but that was mostly his emergency fund as he didn't have the major support of others, yet, for the most part. Perhaps the GOMM-Ball could give him that Major support, but it would be too little too late. He had confidence and trust, hoping some sort of luck would spill from the Ball, so he was going to give this auction is all.

He eyed his computer terminal with great interest. As the CEO of bar Ammon Holdings, share acquisition that was something that would fall under the purview of his company. As the bids soared into nine digits, he came across a familiar name, that of a fellow senator, [member="Caius Flavian"]. He couldn't afford the current bid, but then again, he had no interest in pursing majority ownership of the company - that would mean he has to run it. Part of owning a holdings company was that he let others do the legwork while he reaped the benefits.

He opened a new program.

//To: Caius Flavian - Senator from Caridia//
//From: Gael bar Ammon - Senator from Azure//

Senator Flavian,

I know not the reasons you bid so high on this company, however with the amount of coin you seek to spend, I can only assume it's being done on behalf of the Republic or one of it's constituent systems. I am interested in assisting you in this endeavor. I own a private corporation, bar Ammon Holdings, which would like partial ownership of the company.
20,000,000 credits, and the Government of Azure will supply you with an additional 30,000,000 credits. In exchange, bar Ammon Holdings would obtain 10% of the 70% equity stake in Spaarti Creations. Additionally, operations from the subsequent purchase of the company would be based in Azure. There is an extra 10,000,000 credits available should Azure become the flagship operations center of Spaarti Creation's operations.

60,000,000 credits toward the acquisition of this equity. Let me know how you would like to proceed at your earliest convenience.

Regards,

Gael bar Ammon
