Matsu could see the cave as she was climbing around the top of it. The place was massive and large enough the gorax as it was walking around now distracted and alerted to Sheila. It had the jedi allowing her energies to flow while she was going and quickly crawled finding several areas with loose stalagmites he could drop on the gorax as it stood to its full height and swung a large hand in the dark. The low light and sounds now waking up some of the other creatures in the caves as she could feel them stirring to life. Quickly matsu dropped when it got close a large rock on its head to distract it and make it look around while she focuseed to try and get it to fall with Vulps and Sheila's help down the massive chasm.

 

[Vulpesen]

Vulpesen smiled as he saw the Gorax finally get close to the opening in the ground and as it was dazed by the large rock, the ex-jedi saw his perfect opportunity. Backing up a bit, he called the force to his body, using it to empower himself. A moment later, and Vulpesen thrust out his arms, influencing the ethereal energy into a powerful push onto the Gorax's upper back. If all went well, the behempth would find itself toppling over and into the chasm, beaten by the power of a telekinetic master.

Matsu was moving and she saw it, the beast slipped. His foot falling off and most of his bulk taking him backwards but he caught himself on the wall by stretching out. Matsu looked at him as she dropped from the ceiling and smashed into his chest sending a small shockwave that made him crumple before she was running. Matsu went towards Vulps and lept hovering and flying before she was rolling admist the loud raor of the creature and she stood up looking around. The cavern was still really dark but it smelled a little better while while she was speaking. "That was good teamwork and easier then I expected. Sometimes I forget they have a brain the size od a nut despite eing so large."

Sheila fluttered and watched the large gorax as she stabbed at him and he was slipping. The others were working to fight him and get him to fall over instead of trying to fight it in hand to hand as the one jedi dropped from the ceiling and pushed it down the hold. A roar came but the jedi were standing there near the edge as she was looking at the walls and seeing the story on the tomb of the family from the brothers fighting to the one disappearing during the great hunt. She didn't know what the whole famly did but from the looks of it there was far more dangerous traps to come then large fangerous creatures.

Vulpesen turned his head until he could hear a loud satisfying crack. "We probably could have just mind tricked it into helping us out." With that said, he started off towards to the deeper parts of the cave, the first trial over with. "So, what now? Just keep on walking and hope we find something interesting before a lucky trap squashes us?"

Matsu looked at vulps as she was walking deeper into the cave and she spoke. "I don't know we could find any number of things inside." She was moving and letting her eyes shift through different spectrum while she was walking with her senses. A small look on her face while she offered her shoulder for the As-Aki as she was heading to the wall and looking at the script and images. "It is a tomb for what we want and we'll find it, though a jedi tomb might need far more then just a simple trap. I am expecting things more sinister to protect any knowledge that could prove to be a dangerous thing upon the galaxy. I know I wait for the day you create a holocron so I can safeguard it. Your skills can be dangerous in the wrong hands."

Sheila gave a nod of her head but mind tricking such a lartge beast seemed like a dream and wizardry as she landed on the jedi masters shoulder and was proceeding deeper into the cave. "I don't know, space magic like that doesn't seem real and we are in the really real world." A smirk on her face though in the flickering light of the glow rod before she crossed her arms and enjoyed the seat just listenign to all the sounds of the cave.

Vulpesen smiled at her words and looked ahead into the cave. "Traps, I handled those from my first day as a jedi, and even a few times before. I'm sure its nothing we can't handle. As for the secrets I'll disclose to the holocrons, I'm afraid those will likely be kept in the Veran libraries somewhere. After all, I'm sure the Tenevi wouldn't want an outsider holding the secrets of their Valde, no matter how close of friends they are."

The third voice piped up and he cast a glance to the pixie on Matsu's shoulder. "I assure you, it is. And I've seen things that would do well to throw your perceptions of real aside. At this point, I've learned to simply stop believing my eyes and if that gorax flew out of that hole as a space dragon, I'll admit that I wouldn't really be surprised at all."

Matsu looked at him. "Come now do you think I would cheat and give it away?" She feigned a hurt look while walking and was shifting her senses to see in the low light but also the auras of what was alive. She continued to go deeper and deeper into the caves while her sight was seeing the inky aura's against the blackness and then another long tunnel filled with glyphs. She was able to make out some of them while she was studying the walls and tapped it. "It says if we have made it this far we are already dead and we'll need to face trials." There was a look at Vulps while she was walking and the hallway seemed to shift. The walls glowing faintly with runes as for her it seemed to become a snowy wasteland. The illusion to her sight alone, vulps would see something from his past and Sheila the same.

Sheila was on the mans shoulder and listening to his stories as she was looking around. A smile on her face while she was going towards the larger sections and tapping until they got to the tunnel and she could see the walls glowing as she was back in the forests and was fluttering around. She could see the others all around them and she could see the others while she was speaking. "How did we get to the forest?"

Vulpesen's eyes widened as he looked around, his ears picking up [member="Sheila"]'s words as he glanced around. "The den..." It was a place he thought he'd never see again. A bar in Nar Shadaa, that is a better bar than the rest. Hidden away and known to only a select few, the den was Vulpesen's old hide out before he became a jedi. He looked to the door, snapping himself from the other surroundings. "R-rita..." That fiery red hair and mischievous wide smile, it could only be her. Rita McAllen. If it weren't for her, he was sure he wouldn't be alive... the only thing was, she wasn't. Rita had died years ago, three months after he had met her.

"Hey there pup. You've grown since we last met." And there it was, that laugh that he knew all to well. No other person had one like it and the sound sent a shiver down his spine. It was wrong... very wrong. Sure everything here was happy, but it wasn't real. "Y-you... Rita... you were stabbed. I saw it... I held you as you bled... how?"

Forest? Matsu was looking and she could see Vulps, she could see Sheila fluttering there but could they not see the snow at their feet or it swirling? She was confused but listening and searching as her mind was working to try and find the solution. RHen Var was many things but this place wasn't cold and chilled. It was almost warm and damp. Then she heard Vulps talking and he seemed to be seeing something else then both of them while she looked. "Cannot neither of you see the snow? It is a blizzard." She kept moving and touched Vulps as she a moment her sight flickered over to his showing the bar and woman then back again. "Okay that was.... I don't know."

Sheila was looking over the ones there as she wondered what they were smoking. There was no den, no snow... She saw the lush forest all around them and looked into the sky as she got a little closer though and suddenly there was a flash. Across her vision while she was moving and landed on their shoulders. The forest became a blizzard and she was afraid to freeze before she was moving herself. "This is strange and we should really not drink in the future."

Forest? Blizzard? Slowly the pieces were falling together in his head until finally, Matsu touched him and the last piece fell into place. "Its not real..." The words came first then the realization. "YOU'RE NOT REAL!" He turned to 'Rita' "YOU DIED IN MY ARMS!" He felt his pain well up, almost letting it overwhelm him, that is, until he took control and channeled it through his body into the upraised foot. "MATSU HOLD ON!" His foot came down, slamming into the ground below him, using the force to shake the cave. Then again, and again. He continued to stomp, shaking his head of the illusions as he broke them by making the cave tremble under the force of his powers.

Matsu was looking at the illusions break as she saw the walls cracking a little and then her illusion was over. The sound of the cave below them shifting and the floor gave away while she was standing there and Matsu was falling into an antechamber below while she didn't know if Vulps was going to fall as well but her hands were coming out as fire came to them and she was lighting up the large area that was covered with glyphs in the cave. A central area she could see in the flickering light what looking like a broken tomb.

A growl left Vulpesen's lips as he suddenly dropped. NO doubt, his trick had worked, but it seemed he paid a bit of a price with the sudden fall. till working form the high of his force enhancement, the ex-jedi pulled a dagger from his belt and slammed it forward int the wall, dipping the durasteel deep into the stone and stopping his fall with a loud pop and a sharp pain from his shoulder. "Crux!" The zorren curse left his lips as he dangled in the air, fairly certain he had dislocated the shoulder. "Matsu, you alright down there?"

"It's okay I fell on by butt." Matsu said it to reassure while she was rolling to get up and look around. her eyes darting back and forth while she moved finding her footing before looking back up at him. "Alright it is okay to come down, I have a grapple if you need it." She was looking around the chamber though with more glyphs and ruins then she could see in the lesser light. Matsu was walking down there and tossed a glowing ball high into the air to light it up showing sections that were carved grooves in the floor that she stopped at the edge oh. Her hand going over a rock as blade ejected from the floor and walls rapidly slicing through the air. "I found another trap."

Something was strange and odd about hearing this powerful master who'd achieved the rank twice, and was capable of blowing away civilizations, say butt. In truth, if he wasn't in the middle of looking for a way to fix his damned shoulder, he probably would have laughed. "Of course there is. There's always a trap. He ignited his lightsaber and carved a handle into the stone wall. With a hard grip and a fast yank, he felt his shoulder pop back int place. "HELL THAT HURTS!"

Shoulder back in place, he let out a growl and walked to Matsu's side. "You take me to the nicest places." His eyes turned back to the trap, observing the blades and searching for their pattern. "Pretty simple. I don't think it'll be too hard to get past them." He let out a small laugh. "You'd think they'd try something a bit more creative."

Sheila was glad she could fly while the two of them fell down the hole and she looked there glowing a little. "Jedi go down the hole...." A small smirking from under her voice while she buzzed down and was looking around the tunnel more. The walls had some dislodged crystals while she went down into the chamber with Vulps and Matsu fluttering around. The blades were something to see as she was hovering over them while watching the sight of it all. She'd have to see what they could do possibly without flying compared to her.

She looked at him and at the trap while nodding a little. "I don't think it is meant like most traps in ruins... That hallway seemed more to test you or deter you compared to frightening or dangerous. If a jedi came here I think it is more meant to test their patience and skills." She had some ideas of things they could do while she was looking over it all. Reflexes could get them through as could flight and she looked at him. "It is simple enough and doesn't seem to get higher, I know I could fly over it and so could Sheila... That leaves you to navigate it." Matsu breathed in and rose up as she was going and the blades came out with her crossing slicing into the dangling part of her robe. She was going slowly in case there was something else and motioning for Vulpesen to follow as she continued forward. "Be careful."
