SSB Mystery Item Auction Number Two - Barter Preferred

The key to any successful show - in Patches humble opinion - was network and diversify. An investment, if to be made worth his while, had to have a measurable ROI. Gambling with mystery items was not really his thing, as how is one to know one's return when the contents are in question?

Better to invest in something that could be traded later, if desired, he mused to himself. While the pissing contest over LOT A were amusing, he preferred a more subtle approach. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a datapad, and sent his bids in through a secure channel, with a simple message of.

** Encryption A10078BC **
"The Shadow Broker seeks to place a bid on both Lot B and Lot C, offering his services as an Information Broker to both Corporations. These services include, but are not limited to: Information Gathering and Intel, a Bounty Hunter amongst his ranks, a small, indiscreet transport with the galaxy's finest smuggler, and limited access to the galaxy's most robust information network and it's contacts. We eagerly await Lot B and C's response."

** End Tranmission **

Best to start small, he mused to himself, as lot M and a mystery starship entered the fray, catching Patches interest for the moment.

Oooooo... I do like to gamble, he pondered for a moment, questioning his earlier musings on tangible ROI.

For a moment Triko paused, before changing his offer.

"Triko retract his rocket and offer for Lot I!" "

He offer his services for free, for Lot G! He do any job, no payment!"

(Edited because I dinnae want to sell my rocket.)

"I'll maintain my bid for Lot I as one beach date," Leon called, her face still a little colored. "And I'll also bid my next one hundred tons of salvage or ship for Lot M. I'll also bid a free privateering mission for Lot H."

So far, Larraq had consumed a great deal of whiskey during these auctions and was beginning to question that decision. Looking up, he was suddenly aware that he was sitting in on an auction right now. The auction seemed strange to him. At first he didn't understand it. But then he understood it... then he wondered how drunk he was....

<Why not?> Larraq thought to himself.
"I'll bid on lot B and C. A profitable contract with Mandal Hypernautics, regardless of affiliation of company."
"For Lot A... My services as Adviser, Admiral, or Diplomat to help resolve a single conflict of interests."
"And if any of the companies are starship manufacturers, consider my bid supplemented by this one. My services as an engineer on a single shipbuilding contract."
"For Lot J. I'll trade my car." Larraq said quite drunkenly. Referring to his Personal luxury model Oya'karir Ground Vehicle. Hot red, extra seating in the rear, expensive CIC electronics worked into the dashboard holoprojector, surround speakers, and a very loud engine.

Lot A - 20,000 sq ft home in which shall lay full high class amenities, accompanying it shall also be 5 kilos of Songsteel, lastly a Lightjet
Lots D and E - an X-Wing fighter with full amenities, purchased and delivered exclusively by Lord Daemos as well.

Leon scratched her nose in thought a moment. A weapon would be nice, but how to pay for it...

"One relic of personal choice of the buyer retrieved for the bid on Lot E and Lot H."

Ugh, mystery auctions, you never knew if you were bidding enough but if you bid too much you could be stuck with something worth a tenth or less of what you put up. At least this one wasn't money based, maybe she had some stuff that she could off-load that she didn't need but someone else would like. Was worth a shot.
Lot E: 1 Crate of Sonic Shotguns
Lot H: 1 Week vacation to Vaynai and Station Six
Lot I: 5 Legionnaire War Droids

"I'll maintain my current bids as follows: One beach date for Lot I, my next one hundred tons of salvage or prize ship for lot M.. As for Lots E and H I will maintain one relic of the seller's choice to retrieve for free."

Lot A: Mystery Corporate Stock, High Tier

Danger believed this to be a rather curious curio. Corporate stock, High Tier. A finger lightly went tapping against her chin. There were other several interested parties bidding for this. Ah, but what could she bid?

Living on Tatooine certainly had it's level of perks. One of them was regulating the Krayt dragon population as well as the Durindfire gem trade; few, if ever, managed to get out of the planet without Danger's inclination.

So, she figured she might as well put this to some use.

"I'll bid a small crate of six Krayt Dragon pearls and six Durindfire gems for Lot A." she told @[member="Selka Ventus"].

To say Danger was stunned was putting it lightly.

So much that mid taking a draw from her cigarrillo, the titaned maned vixen gave a pause -- smoke falling from her lips as her emerald eyes widened.

This... this was by far, not something she expected. At all. Slowly, those crimson lips began to curve into a self satisfied grin.

She had just made one of the best investments in her life. Five percent of Silk Holdings.

Oh lawdy, her daddy would be right proud.

The Sith foxtress blinked several times successively, surprised anyone actually wanted such a thing. Surely whoever was behind it was of a Darker nature. That was a whole different matter entirely, one that had to be conducted more personally. If they chose to change their mind and decline in order to retain their anonimity, it wouldn't upset Ashe; she would understand.
Ashe walked over to the nearest representative of the auctions and exchanged information, giving the auction house a way to contact her and her family with the details of the blade request, that she could have it made without requiring the mystery auctioneer's identity. SSB would simply be a proxy between the two, and that worked fine if need be. Speaking of family... Ashe wondered how her daughter was faring in the other room.
