Star Wars: Battlefront

It's nice to finally see something about the game, but I'll refrain from jumping on the hype train until I get my hands on the demo ("beta"). I hope the in-match progression system was retained. I hate the BF style grind.

I could see DICE offering space/aerial modes as a DLC offering, something like BF's Air Superiority mode.

They need to do whatever necessary to just make the game. This is a new developer, a new publisher, and a new owner to the franchise. It's going to take a while to work out the kinks.

Let the first game be whatever it's going to be.

After it comes out we can tear them to shreds over it and they can make a better second game. lol

And I spent a good 1700 something, with all costs in there for my computer. Carefully assembled and currently nothing I actually play is coming close to touching what it can do. Skyrim with a few graphics mods is probably the hardest thing I've ever ran, and it was a light breeze. Star Citizen *should* come out next year though. That will be quite worthy of my machine, and it will be 2 years old by then. .

[member="Yandere"] yes it can!

I was hyped up at first, however when I realised EA was producing it I knew it was going to be a failure/$90 for space battles or this one map Bantha osik.

This quote seems to fit.

Yeahhhh slightly worried about the lack of features this time around that made 'Battlefront II' so enjoyable and immersive as a Star Wars game. Next-Gen is fine, but why sacrifice things that make the games so special?

I'm just stoked for the Battle of Jakku, but from what I can see, we are playing it planet side and the Star Destroyer comes down regardless of what we do, which is a shame. I'd have liked to play a part in that.

You do realize that EA doesn't actually make the game, they're only the publisher. That's like blaming the supermarket for a drought. EA might have some oversight, but the game is being developed by Dice. Want to blame Dice for it being a bad game? Cool. But how about we actually see the game (and not a bunch of CGI-heavy teaser trailers) before we automatically assume it will be a pile of bantha poodoo?

And just in case you were wondering: here are some currently unsubstantiated claims. We've seen 4 levels, but come on, if they're going to make a Star Wars game, it better be diverse, or you'll lose you're entire fan base. And the first DLC is free, so why are we automatically assuming that you have to pay 90 bucks for a decent experience? I mean, I know EA isn't a great publisher, I'm not defending them, but they're not the developer in this case, so that changes a good deal about the experience, imho.

Get hyped everyone. EA and Dice are gonna knock this one out of the park. Sooooo far out bro they're gonna hit the bank where they keep all the money they beat out of you like a street thug in Prague cause I wouldn't buy a bunch of very overpriced drinks with these scantily clad ladies I met when I was on my way back to the hotel for a nice quiet evening of reading and sipping wine after seeing some of the beautiful sites around the city but instead all that happened and it was very painful both physically and financially and I wish I could keep this very long run on sentence going I really do but the time for me to catch my flight back to Canada where I can not buy this game is about to board so thank you for reading and I hope you don't get caught in either of the two scams I told you about.

We were just taking computers in general.

I know the game is EA thus on Origin. Which sucks but what can you do. As I've learned new information after the initial release on Reddit I'm no longer hyped for the game. Quite disappointed in things and will now reserve my opinions to after its release to see how it is.
