Star Wars Rebels - Twilight of the Apprentice: Reactions - Spoilers

Out of all the things that happened, there was one take away no one mentioned yet....how adorable was is that Chopper was guiding a blinded Kanan with his tiny little droid hand aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw.

I was thinking about that the other day, @Z'Zharen, though cute was not the word I thought of it in. It was just shocking because Chopper is such a dick. But even the robot knew that he needed to help. It was touching.

Hmmm maybe Chopper was thinking his best chance for survival was to have his Jedi companions keep the imperials at bay....but I thought it was really odd, Vader did not bring any reinforcements with him to at least sit in orbit. So Chopper had a good shot at taking the phantom and leaving the Jedi behind hmmm.

@Z'Zharen My theory is that he's just a crazy old robot, that should not be able to fly as well as he does with one thruster, or be able to wheel around with his legs hanging in the wind behind him.

There problem solved, lol

Also, is anyone else bothered by the fact that both Maul, and Ahsoka fell off the temple and both survived from said fall, yet the Eighth Inquisitor falls and is apparently officially pronounced dead.

Wtf, they should be consistent with how falls affect people. I hope they are just playing us for fools, and he isn't dead, and the other remaining (?) four inquisitors he alluded to show up at some point... and THEN they all die once and for all, so that we only have Maul and Vader as the baddies, since the Inquisitors have exhausted my interest at this point.

[member="Krayzen Dratos"] It's still a matter of debate (my money is on symbolic portrayal of her death/transitioning to some form of force ghost to real in Ezra from the dark side at some critical junction later in season 3).

However, she was pushed off a ledge by Darth Vader, and she still got up to go slice up his mask later a minute or two later in the episode.

I'm pretty confident she is alive. Best possible point of speculation is that Vader is far too jacked up from an explosion to continue fighting. Ahsoka can't find it within herself to kill him. He actually can't keep fighting because of suit damage. So they part ways.

Honestly as much as I would love her to live Selena. I think this is a fitting end for the master apprentice story arc. I mean when we saw Anakins eye you could see the burning darkness beneath the surface, I think that really bothered Ahsoka and it's going to mess with her mind, until the end.

I liked it a lot, but "No corpse, no foul" x2 was a bit of a letdown. It would be nice if the franchise as a whole could stop with the injured people falling to what may or may not be their doom and cutting away prior to any confirmation of a kill quite so often.

Having finally seen this I’m a bit meh.

But then, I rarely liked the Clone Wars or the few Rebels episodes I’ve seen.

This episode tried to do too much. Either have Vader’s confrontation OR have Maul seducing the kid. Putting both in made it feel rushed.

And the inquisitors with helicopter lightsabres was truly one of the most inane and stupid things I’ve ever seen.

Frankly, I’ve seen little to dissuade me from my opinion that this is only something I could enjoy if I was 15 again.

*Goes to yell at the kids to get off his lawn.*

Spoilers and stuff:

I think Maul survived in order to give the chance for a villain that was not only canonical, but can be killed.

We all know where vader was at the end. Maul not so much. Maybe he gets iced by a certain, now blind, Jedi Knight.

I was happy enough for it. I wanted to see ahsoka definitively get 'beaten' or 'killed.' There was a lot at stake for Palpy's main trump card to be played. Who was that voice in the holocron? Darth Traya?
