I think I finally got the gist of things as they now stand. I honestly couldn't make up a better time to implement this character myself. The whole 'military downfall and cultural upheaval' thing that seems to be going on really hits the kind of story I wanted for Taran on the head. When you have drastic sociological changes going on with very tradition rooted peoples like the Mandalorians a wealth opportunity for a good stories can be found.
I want to thank everyone for the welcome! It's nice to see such a friendly community! As of yet though I'll retain my right play the middle. IC wise Taran is something of an isolationist so him jumping on any one typical bandwagon isn't very feasible. With groups and factions I try to let the story develop and see where it takes him!
