Stones Crack in the Frost Night

Ultimatum smiled politely while shaking his head. No he did not need or want anything. It was a kind gesture, but unnecessary. It was actually a nice change of pace, most of the organics he interacted with were less understanding of the full intelligence of the droid, most seemed to mistake him for some sort of military protocol droid, or related sorts. However, it seemed that many of the organics that he remembered were actually quite quick at seeing him for what he was.

Decimus and Malgus. Two names that would be well remembered. One for its meaning and the latter for whose name it stood for. Ultimatum hoped the ships would do their names proud, it helped that there would only be two of them. The resources required for a mere two ships, no matter the size, tended to be minuscule compared to those required by a massive production line of a starship.

"Good choices. I shall have them put to the forefront of production priorities," he smiled as he continued, "Of course they will probably be the only things being built at the moment. Perhaps I can show you the Sovereignty, the latest ship to have come out of the shipyard, sometime."

Nomkneer saw the droid having almost human-like reactions. He was amazed speaking to a bot would feel so different with him, As he finished his question the kaleesh takes another death stick after not smoking one for a while and blazes it. As he puffs of his death stick he leans back and gets ready for the show.

"Show me that through your projector"

He smiled as he was interested in knowing about all the ships that are coming up as he wishes to know what type of new toys could he possibly get from him for future use against enemies of the sith and Atrisia.

"I like the name"

The projector build into his arm poured light into the room. A three dimensional image of the Sovereignty appear, it was about two meters long and easy to see most of the details. Ultimatum allowed the simple image of the outside to shine for a few seconds before showing the internal construction of the ship. The craft did not have much in the way of firepower, that was not its purpose and so Ultimatum had simply taken what had originally been part and added to it sightly. The areas most added to the ship had been the stealth field generator, molecular furnace, and miniature factory. The ship was capable of lasting almost a year without any need to resupply, with minimal use of the factory aboard.

"It used to be a Hammerhead-class Cruiser, from the Old Republic era. I found it after being kidnapped by some pirates and Animus came to my rescue. He almost died there trying to power the Hyperdrive. It was in pretty good condition, considering that it should have stopped working millennia ago. The mechanics aboard had done a fairly good job keeping it running, though it had required a lot of time and work to repair. It has only been in use for a little less than a month. Thanks to quite a bit of expansion since then I expect that the replacements for your ships will be much stronger and better armed. What do you think?"

Ultimatum was surprised that the organic had liked the name. It was a name that perhaps struck something within the Sith's mentality, but it was intended as Ultimatum's way of saying he was free of organics now. He was in command of himself and someday he would be able to show them what droids were capable of in a more meaningful way. For now it was working alongside them and helping the organics. Not forever though.
