The Eye of the Storm
So, disclaimer, I can't entirely take credit for this idea, as it's something me and
Darth Prazutis
brainstormed last week while speculating on what the new map rules would be.
So, with the new Superhexes, we were considering the idea of how to invade them. At current, there aren't any rules stating that invasions would work differently, just invade and take the entire superhex.
I would like to offer an alternative to make superhexes both more defendable, but also make it so that planets within them don't get forgotten, especially for superhexes that hold important canon planets IE, The Deep Core, Manda Cluster.

SIEGES
- Basic Invasion Rules Apply
- Rather than having to invade once, A Superhex Siege would take place over 3 successive invasions.
- To win a superhex, you would need to win 2 out of 3 of the invasions.
- If a superhex contains a Major Faction's Capital Planet, one of the three invasions must take place on said planet.
- Each successive invasion takes place one week after the last, giving the majors a week to regroup, and plan for the next week, while the admin team judges each invasion separately.
- Sieges must be declared as a whole, rather than as three separate invasions. This allows admin teams on both sides to plan around them, rather than having the planets being chosen as a surprise. However, which order the planets are invaded is up to the attacking faction.
- Factory/Codex entries submitted during a Siege only apply if done during the bye weeks.
