Rach fought a rearguard action and ducked through the hatch of the cloaked ship. Cursing bitterly in Ancient Sith, he took the flight controls while Jorn ran preflight. "Something like that. RC bailed on us. That boy has issues. Or maybe I just lost him in the smoke. Either way, I fried the control centre pretty good -- thanks for the overwatch."

The cloaked assault ship leaped for the sky.

"I managed to find the place where they've rerouted control. It's about two hundred klicks; we should get there, counting deceleration and landing and such, in maybe twenty, thirty minutes."

Soon the secondary control centre appeared: A low, rounded permacrete bunker.

"No easy entrance there. Heavily fortified. We'll have to fight our way on, though it doesn't look too probable." The cloaked ship touched down some distance from the bunker. "How do you think we should do this?"

@ Caedo Cal

Mia knew the look in Verz's face all to well. She depolarized her own visor at his words. "I'll hold you to that, vod." The fact that after this she was leaving was neither here nor there. Her visor re-polarized as Verz ran for cover, instantly catching the storm troopers attention. It took every ounce of Mia's will power not to join him as chaos erupted. She had another part to play. As Verz's shout came, she bolted from the alley, ducking behind speeders to keep out of the storm troopers line of sight. then she was across teh stret and downte side of the huge building.

Checking Caedo an Dred were still with her she fired the grappling hook above her head. It slid through an open window and latched onto the ledge. Allowing herslef to be pulled up she cast a glance towards the front of the building, the sound of blaster fire still echoed down the street, which was a good sign. Setting her feet on a wide ledge she disconnected the grappling hook and looked inside.

A moff was pointing weapon at a face she knew to well, his back to her. Mia shook her head at the Bard. Pulling a sticky explosive from her belt she slapped onto the wall next to the window. The damage it would deal would be minimal but it would, at least shatter the window. She held up thre fingers to the bard, indicating he had three seconds. Ushering Dred and Caedo to cover, along the ledge, she flattened herself against the pillar as glass exploded.

"Well, if they didn't know we were here a minute ago, the do now." she said, to her comrades grinning to herself. Jumping in through the window she delivered a powerful punch to the moff who was gaping at them and watched with satisfaction as he hit the floor.

"You, sir," she said looking at the Bard "Get around."

And just like that, Mandos.

"Why if it isn't the lovely Mia Monroe. I'm so terribly sorry I ever mistook you for Alli Wren or Lenavena Martin. I don't know what I could have been thinking." The Bard retrieved his sonic servodriver with some aplomb and held up the key he'd taken. "This was the only thing inside his safe. And I'm willing to bet good money..."

He spun and pointed the sonic servodriver at a wall.

A different wall clicked and opened up, revealing sheet metal and a keyhole. The Bard sighed. "Right, and yet so wrong. Not unlike yourself, so I'm told."

The key turned in the lock, and a second layer of wall opened up, revealing...

"A private command centre. Two-way datafeeds to everything on Borosk. Oh, it'll be password-protected, no question about that...for a man this paranoid."

Mia grinned, bumping into the Bard always had its benefits. This would save them a lot of work. "Since when did passwords stop you and your little servodriver." She moved to the door of the office, picking up the sounds of armoured feet heading their way. "Start hacking." she told him as she pulled open the door and peered outside.

"Eight hostile's incoming...small corridor," blaster fire whizzed towards her head and she ducked back inside and dropped down on one knee, her hand went to her hip once more and she contemplated another grenade. No, she would need them later. Slipping out from the door again she opened fire, hoping Caedo or Dred would take the high ground.

"Slicing!" he called after her, servodriver humming. "There's a difference! No, wait, what am I saying. There really isn't one, not if you can slice a battle encrypt in mid-fleet-engagement...limited imaginations, I tell ya. This is why nobody networks anymore..."

He danced through servodriver settings, looking to circumvent the portions of the whatnot upon which the doohickey depended. Certain access hatches opened up, and he began reprogramming like a boss, manually. The servodriver could do a great many things, but some things were just faster when hand and servodriver worked together.

"ALmost there..."

@Nobody

Verz was in a tight spot. He was still distracting the stormtroopers, of which there were about 9 left. He had shot one of em in the leg,and as a medic tried to tend to the man, he took them both out with a well placed grenade. However, the enemy squad leader was somewhat competant, as he sent two stormtroopers to sneak around as Verz was taking fire.

The two stormtroopers burst through the rear door, weapons leveled at Verz. They slowly approached him, ready to fire if he attacked. He then attacked the two stormtroopers. Verz fired at both of them, hearing a crack as one broke a rib. The other doubled over in pain. Careful not to poke his head high enough to be a target, Verz shuffled over to the one with the broken rib. Verz drew his beskar cimbat knife, and with a quick thrust, ended the injured stormtrooper.

The second one, seeing his friend fall, fell into a rage driven frenzy. The trooper shot Verz, but Verz's armor deflected most of the energy of the shot. The trooper, whose weapon was empty, swung it at Verz, who caught it. The began to fight over the rifle, knocking into shelves and such around the store.

"Kriffing storm troopers!" Caedo managed to yell over their personal comm. line before noticing his relative lack of action up until now. Musing that it was now time for him to act did he activate his stealth field generator as every knew of what a terrible shot he was. Sneaking over toward the storm troopers he made sure to keep his nerves that of steel cause if he made a noticeable sound it would at least give off his general location. He spun out his vibro daggers, and sent himself flying at a trooper grabbing the storm trooper as he repeatedly stabbed him. This would kill his stealth field generator since he had now attacked, so he would quickly turn the storm trooper who was now bleeding heavily as a body shield as he quickly made his way back into the door kicking the man down dead as his body would no longer serve as a good enough makeshift shield. "One day one of you will have to help me improve my shot." He muttered over comm through his helmet but his HUD display noticed a fuel based gas flow in front of though beneath the storm troopers.

This was something he could do as it didn't require him to be able to competently shot only to merely shoot. With two bolts into the floor a giant flame burst from the floor, it would quickly burn out but for now it would buy them more cover and most importantly time for the Bard to do his thing.

Jorn nodded his head and didnt say anything. There was no need for it and there were other things that needed to be done. They reached the bunker and he could see that it was fortified to the teeth. Giards were everywhere and it would be impossible to just walk in and destroy it.

Jorn thought about this as they landed. This should have been a 5 man team instead it was just the two of them. But they were Mandos and if they worked hard anything was possible. "Ill take the ship and fire at them from above. That should thin them out for you. or we could just use the ship and blast the entire building down. Which ever works for you?" He didnt really think all to often about taking them down but with the ship if they blew up the building it would take care of the controls and the guards at the same time, but if Rach wanted to go in himself he was open to that.

"Well, we have two proton torpedo launchers -- that's an awful lot of proton torpedoes. If we unload the bays and move the warheads over there, and detonate them all at once, we could take out that bunker.

"Or...feth. Double-blind cloaking devices block communications. And this is a communications-based facility that communicates with everything...wirelessly. Bro. Watch this."

He settled the ship down on top of the bunker and tweaked the cloaking device to expand the bubble just a bit.

"We are now blocking them. They're out of the game. Of course, they'll have noticed the ceiling shuddering when we landed. So we've got about five minutes until they realize there's a cloaked ship on their roof and come to kill us. Let's leave the ship here, blocking their communication, and go kill things."

Jorn nodded his head with a smile. Leaving the ship would cut the communications for the bunker. Very smooth. Jorn pulled out his twin Delta Pistols and held them point up next to his helm. "Lets do this." Jorn jumped out of the ship and landed on the roof. Jorn saw that there was no one on the roof but he was still cautious. Jorn kept looking around the ship to see that nobody was just hiding up here. His only thought was "Time to go to work."

Rach jumped out beside him, taking a blaster rifle. Simple enough. An access hatch on the side of the bunker was heavily fortified he focused and took a long moment to stretch out with the Force. The thick hatch ripped away.

He sprayed the inside with blasterfire as return fire lashed out at him, splashing against his armor.

Verz continued struggling with the stormtrooper that was inthe store with him. So far, neither had gotten the upper hand. It had only been a couple minutes since the stormtrooper and his dead companion entered the store. In the initial fight, Verz had stabbed the other trooper with his knife, which was still sticking out of the man's neck.Verz struggled with the trooper, looking for openings. He got one, and managed to knee the trooper in his cajones. Even with armor, it would hurt like the Nine Corellien Hells.

Verz got the desired reaction from the stormtrooper, who was now doubled over in pain. From the sound of it, the man had vomited in his helmet. Verz took this opportunity to get to the dead trooper and retrieve his knife. He looked at his foe, who was curled up on the ground in pain. Miving quietly, Verz stood over the man, and knowing what he had to do, swiftly stabbed the man in the back of the neck, the beskar edged blade cutting through the stormtrooper's exposed bodysuit like a hot knife through butter. With that, the retching and seething abruptly ended, with only a trickle of blood from the wound.

Mia drew back into the office as the flames erupted through the corridor, laughter escaping her lips. "Caedo, with moves like that you don't need to be a better shot. But I can help you if you want. Get back in here and watch this door." she said moving back to the bard.

"Are you in?" she asked him before opening a comm line to @[member="Verz Horak"].

"You still breathing, vode?"

The Bard bit his lip, his focus almost entirely on the screen and the circuitry. "I'm almost in, yes. Careful or you'll set off my entendrometer. I'm already all manner of impressed by how well you're coordinating my slicing, that vod's flamethrowering, and whoever you've got on the comm. And, of course, when the Echani sent me to help, they told me that Mia Monroe was running things. Well, I just couldn't resist."

A terminal began to whine, and he kicked it, inexpertly but with force.

"ANd we are in. I have it all. What, exactly, do you want done...apart from this?"

He stabbed a button vigorously, and the planetary shield dropped.

"What can I say," she said with a smirk "I'm good at what I do. Give me control of a system and I'll be unstoppable."

She watched with delight as the shields dropped. "I want you to lock everyone else out so they can't get it back up. And I would love some names and faces and places of the important people so I can round them up."

Opening a channel to all Mandalorian's she spoke up "Shields are down, I repeat. Shields are down. Lets bring these planet to its knees."

Verz was taking fire again as his comm buzzed. Slightly irritated, he picked it up, noticing it was a transmission from Mia. Her face appeared to the side in his HUD, as she asked how he was doing. "Well, I'm still under fire here, but other than that, I'm just fething fine. Definitely better than those two." As he spoke, his helmet showed her the two dead stormtroopers. Blasterfire could be heard through the comm as well, and in the backround and one could easily see the blasterbolts flying overhead. Verz took an opportunity to fire back during a lull in the volley, most likely for reloads. Allthe while, his comm was still online, showing everything he saw.

He fired back twice more, both times avoiding near misses. He could feel the heat of the laser as it flew by him, searching for a solid object to destroy. Verz tossed his last grenade, hearing a satisfactory thud, bang, and scream as another stormtrooper was killed. 7 left. Unfortunately, he left himself open to return fire a moment too long, as a sniper he had not seen fired at him, hitting right between two arnor plates on his shoulder.

The nauseating smell of charred flesh wafted up, pain flaring before adrenaline and instinct forced his mind to shut out the pain.He fell backwards in seemingly slow motion, failing to fight back a scream of pain, luckily filtered by his comm system, so the enemy did not hear it.However, his allies could still hear him and see hit spiked vitals, as the comm was still on and transmitting.

"First things first, then. This fool was paranoid enough that he could...well, I guess it makes sense. Imagine another officer or functionary logs in and gives the world to, say, Grand Admiral Viera Kisep. He would need a way to lock out all other control functions.

"Annnnd...found it. Done. Everything is slaved to this console. And I mean everything. All the command centres should be flipping out right now, but it'll take a minute for the actual emplacements to get the word. Not that we can use them to fire on friendly forces. Not that I'd want to. I'm not, strictly speaking, a violent man.

"But yes. Unless they jury-rig something, the people in every turbolaser emplacement and every airstrip are now cut off from command and control."

He got to work on the list of dossiers.

"VERZ!" Mia yelled into her comm hearing his scream "Caedo, lock this room down, no one gets in." she was ordering as she ran for the window "Make sure you leave the moff outside. Bard get me those names and places." Jumping onto the window sill Mia left them, her heart hammering in her chest as she spoke to Verz running along the ledge that ran the full length of the building. "Speak to me ner vod. Damage report!" she needed to keep him talking to know he was still alive.

Reaching the front of the building Mia twisted and jumped without hesitation pulling her rifle free as she fell she activated her jet pack at the last minute, her descent slowing for the last few feet. Turning it off again she landed lightly, she charged into the building raising her rifle she fired three rapid shots, the first two well placed head shots, the third catching one on the shoulder and spinning him aside. She dove for cover as the remaining four opened fire.

"I told you, you would get yourself killed." She muttered to herself "But no one listens to the crazy woman."

She pulled the flash bang from her belt and threw it over the counter.

The pain had returned as he lay on the ground. First it was just a throbbing, but it had quickly grown into an intense burning. Which made sense. It was a laser wound, after all. Then he heard Mia's voice on the comm. She was...yelling his name? He groaned, trying to sit up, but his muscles failed him. He could speak, but barely. "Urghh..Mia? Is that you?" The pain intensified, and Verz bit back another yell, but just barely. He groaned into the comm. "I'm not dead yet ner vod. Do you really have that little *groan* faith in me?"

Rising from her cover she laid heavy fire into the dazed storm troopers as she moved across the store, scattering them into various cover. She ducked behind the cover Verz was laying behind and pulled him behind it properly.

"That" she said with an air of annoyance "is because I'm saving your sorry ass." Coming up from her cover again she released another short bursts of fire, taking down two more and giving another head count. Three still standing. She ducked as red bolts began to pepper their cover. "Stupid fething idea. Should have dropped an explosive somewhere and drawn them out. But you, Mr. Horak wanted to play hero. Not that I'm against it, but you should always have a wingman."

Clink, clink

The grenade rolled next to her. Without missing a beat she smacked it back their way with her hand, though it only managed it a few feet before it brought the ceiling between the troopers and their position down, filing the air with dust. Jumping up over the cover she switched to thermal imaging. The ceiling had taken one out. Two to go.
