If you want to learn how to do this sort of thing, I did made a Guide that goes over the basics of editing like splicing a picture and doing simple edits like recoloring

I'll soon be adding a guide covering creation of Avatars and Logos, then Signatures, Wanted Posters, and finally Banners, that should be really everything needed to create custom artwork for anything around the forums I mean a week ago or so Photoshop was black magic to me too, but turns out it's pretty easy to pick up with the right instructions.
