The grin on Junko’s face had me blushing and wondering at exactly how much “more” she could show me. It was true that I had resisted a physical bond with the Princess at first, but that was because of my traditional thoughts. The moment I met Junko I knew she was beautiful. And now in this first romantic experience with a female I wondered what all was out there. And as I looked into the eyes of the Princess I could tell that she had ideas. ”Well then it seems we have a challenge at hand. If you can keep me occupied while not working on this new home, or transporting for the Commonwealth, then I will be safe and sound near you. You know. To save you from paperwork.” Junko went on to explain all the possible swimming areas that could be used. To be truthful it had never been a strong suit of mine. Mirial was a dry planet. I didn’t swim much as a youth. I learned later in life for safety’s sake, but it had not been quite the enjoyable experience that it seemed to be in Atrisia. But I could certainly get used to any activity that had Junko clad in a swimsuit…or less. ”Swimming amongst wildlife sounds wonderful. Though I would probably scream the first time a slimy fish grazed against my leg.” I gave a nervous giggle at the thought. ”I could only imagine how well this idea could go over on Zeltros or Glee Anselm or Spira. I would love to see it work sometime. Then we can go in for a dip.”

Hmm that was an idea that she could think about.. trying to come up with ways to do it would be the trick as she couldn't make it seem like she was being clingy. She wasn't going to make things up to just keep her... more try and make it enticing to stay.... and not just because she was here. Atrisia was more than just beautiful women... it was gorgeous women... and men that was important as well. "Maybe, I'll think of how to do it without it just being busy work over pressing and exciting." She looked at her and griinned. "We have a mini zeltros, after they were invaded and an offworlder took the title queen getting rid of their election. Many fled and even more after most of their industry was destroyed." She said it and it had been quite a sight some silver jedi were against... while others helped because the 'queen' offered the planet to the concords government on the basis they were the permanent monarch protecting the primitive hedonistic zeltrons from themselves.... It was one of the reasons she had returned to Atrisia and they had started their refugee interests. "And we have been doing it there... as well as Spira which has many business interests and an Atrisian themed hotel."

I was incredibly flattered that my challenge was even considered by the Princess. She had any number of beautiful girls around her and yet there was something in me that she wanted to keep safe. While that did not necessarily translate into romance, I couldn’t help the pitter patter that came to my heart to find that someone considered me worthy of such a thing. ”You’ve done a very good job of keeping my mind here with you so far. I have a feeling the challenge will be met quite easily and through organic thoughts.” A mini-Zeltros would be a paradise to most. If my initial interactions with Atrisians combined with what I knew of Zeltrons, it would be a place with very beautiful inhabitants with few inhibitions and an atmosphere that there were no cares in the galaxy to be had that couldn’t be solved with happiness in the moment. Supisy would fit in quite well, but for me, I needed a bit more structure. I needed a bit of worry in my life. Not saying that I wouldn’t visit this mini-Zeltros, but I’m not sure it would hold the same enjoyment as it would for others. ”The Atrisian way seems to be to invite in those in need and take care of them. That is quite honorable.” I should have known that the Atrisian people didn’t need me to tell them where their technology would play well. The existence of a Atrisian-themed resort on Spira made me wish I had the credits to enjoy such a place in the past. I might have been more prepared for my visit and now it seemed settling within the Commonwealth. But honestly I am quite happy to be surprised by Atrisia and the Princess. ”With all that I’ve learned in such little time I’m surprised the whole galaxy doesn’t employ Atrisia to design their infrastructure. I’m sure that would spread your people pretty thin though. Maybe it’s less the absence of desire from the outside and more keeping secrets so to speak. What other wonders do you have to show me Princess?”

SHe nodded. "It would be easier but some prefer the struggle it seems. I have seen the Alliance senate always talking about stretched resources, not being able to do this or that.... but we have offered our technology to them and other worlds. SOme have accepted but others seem to prefer their own... which is the struggle to keep mouths fed. Without forcing ourselves upon the galaxy we just let them do as they want. The worlds within the Commonwealth benefit and continue to benefit. We have managed to get a handful of newer worlds within to add to our trade partners and routes." She shrugged while being there... it was always amazing how far some could go to avoid progress when the technology was out there in the galaxy and often act indignant to others who used it. Junko was just glad that Atrisia was happy to adapt and change as needed.

Absolute shock I am sure was written all over my face when Junko said some people like to move forward on their own rather than let Atrisia help, but then I thought about Supisy and her reaction to the AI. Advancement isn’t the same for all people I suppose. Being a techie I couldn’t see having the top of the line as anything other than a gift, but I’m definitely different from Supisy. ”It is good of you to make the offer. The fact that not everyone accepts seems crazy to me, but pride and other things probably get in the way of taking help sometimes. Or just the need to feel in control.” The inability of others to accept help seemed like a sore subject for Junko so I was quite happy to change the subject. ”I’m feeling a little bit sweaty,” I said with a smirk. ”That talk of swimming earlier is sounding quite inviting. Why don’t you show me your favorite place to swim.”

A grin and nod of her head. Favorite place to swim could go a long way as... it could be either by planet or by beach. PLanet wise she loved many of the worlds including some of the ones that they had managed to find secluded... like geothermal springs on Hoth or Rhen Var... something about them in all of that snow and ice was just refreshing... or Spira with its crystal clear blue waters... even Coruscant had places to swim if you knew the right people or Ruusan.... she could go over all of them and the beauty. "Well there is a place." She would stick to Atrisia for the pair of them and tapped her ear with the interface opening as it the holographic display came over and she flicked her eyes to change it so it could be seen on both sides. "On Atrisia in the eastern mountains, a small lake out of the way but it is a way area for several species over the year. From birds to fish to kappa so there is always an abundance of different creatures there to be around you."

Junko paused to think a lot longer than I thought would be needed to decide on the best swimming spot on Atrisia…Oh my. I didn’t say the best spot on Atrisia. Junko had been all over the galaxy. She probably had been swimming on dozens of planets. I wasn’t sure that I was up for another faster than light trip. No matter how quick they ended up being. As I watched Junko consider it though, I was wondering exactly what she was thinking. Was I part of what she was considering? Swimming with a partner could be different than swimming alone after all. Junko started speaking of a place, and showing a holo image at the same time. I looked with intrigue as Junko continued her explanation. ”That sounds wonderful. How far away is it?” I questioned still not used to the fact that distance was not as big an issue to Atrisians as it was elsewhere in the galaxy. ”I was hoping you were going to be the only thing brushing up against my leg,” I continued with a giggle. ”But it would be fun to see the nature of Atrisia, if I’m going to invite some of it to stay on my island.”

SHe nodded. "Well far but not long as a trip, we have worked on many things as you know so traveling there is exceptionally fast." She was moving now and adjusting the image. "As to nature well... there will be plenty of fish and I could recommend maybe one or two kappa.. they are adorable and loyal but you don't want massive herds of them with less places to go. THey like to run across hundreds of miles of open space." SHe said it and well Kappa were adorable and loyal so you didn't need many of them... just a pair could protect you and warn you of threats. "There is also the old ruins of some of the Atrisian fortresses. ONe built right into the mountain and it served as a gateway deeper into the mountains while being able to observe Jeidushi a city dedicated at one point to the atrisian goddess of love and fertility."

Junko confirmed what I had forgotten. Distance was not something that was a problem in most places as long as the advanced technology could be deployed. Junkko’s swimming spot was not close by, but it would not take us long to get there. I nodded my understanding as . ”I am open to wildlife, but I have to say that I have lived most of my life with a freighter as a home. So it will take some getting used to and some training probably. I will need to be sure that I don’t mistreat any animals that would be trusted to my care.” On top of the animals and swimming the spot Junko suggested also had ruins. I wondered if she had found some time to grill Supisy about me before taking me on this more private outing. I loved to look through ruins when I had the time. And mountains were my favorite landscape. ”I would like to see the ruins as well. History is a fascinating way to learn about a place. And I’m sure that a city devoted to the Atrisian goddess of love and fertility will have some interesting sights.”

"History is important and Atrisia is steeped in it, tens of millions of years worth and even then... the Chi-Oni are based on what we know Ancient Atrisians. THey were us before we became us and traveled the galaxy with other beings... this close to the deep core where the oldest civilizations of the galaxy could be found we expected some age but based on their information.. it is a lot more. THose ruins are on top of ruins, on top of ruins.. their oldest temple is on Rei'Izu which is Atrisia five in the system. A force temple with what they discovered from an older civilization and housed there. We have terraformed the world and explored it." She said it all and the ancient Atrisians were... well Kirano was among them when she had questions and they were long lasting and strong... it helped their empress was happy and amused with the surface world.

I completely agreed with Junko’s comment on the importance of history. My people held history and traditions in high regard, and though I didn’t agree with my people in how strictly they interpreted things, I still respect the history of it. ”I had no idea that Atrisia was so old...” I caught myself saying it and I laughed. Of course Atrisia was old. The whole galaxy was older than I could fathom. ”I mean. I can’t believe you have that much history. I thought Mirial’s history was vast, but we only know back some fifty thousand years.” I was amazed at the possibilities of what was out there on the planets of the Commonwealth. ”I am somewhat of an accomplished climber. I would love to see a variety of these ruins.” I laughed again. I said this as if I were leaving soon. ”Of course there is plenty of time to do that. Just…if you wanted to surprise me with a trip. That would be fun.”

A trip... a surprise.... She was opening up in ways few others might have been able to think. Latyuo though was worth it and Junko shrugged. "Hmm well you never know what might happen. a surprise trip might be called for an in order after everything you have done for Atrisia... plus the chance to see you in a swimsuit... or tight fitted climbing gear... the safety harness making sure everything...." She trailed off and grinned to herself while moving now. She went to walk around and they still had plenty to do here... laying around all day was fine but there was the chance for a purpose as well. "Now though lets see what else we can do. Supisy enjoyed jet racing... but you will likely enjoy some of the more technical things if you want to come to the lab."

After my suggestion that a surprise might be nice, Junko seemed to pause and then she gave a bit of a shrug. Had I overestimated what our relationship was? It was possible, but I doubted it. Junko hadn’t shown any sign of disinterest, and she was showing me to a favorite swimming spot of hers. The Princess then seemed to show interest in the idea under the guise of payment for what I have done for the Commonwealth. I hoped that not everyone who served the Commonwealth did not receive this sort of attention from the Princess, but I wasn’t going to get too clingy about it. When she mentioned a swimsuit and how climbing harnesses tended to accentuate the right parts of the female anatomy I couldn’t help but to blush. ”Perhaps you’ll have to take me shopping first,” I stated flirtily. ”I’m afraid that my only swimsuit is quite practical. Though I will confirm that I do look quite nice in a climbing harness.” I couldn’t believe I was being this flirty. Even with men I was never so outwardly expressive. Junko seemed to bring a different side of me out. It was fun, so I would go with it. But I needed to be careful too. Junko wanted to be more productive. And that was something that the more sensible side of me could admire. ”Yes, let’s see the lab. You’ve shown me such a good time already. I would love to see more tech. The more I see the better I can use it.”

"That can be done, shopping is one of the best sports in the galaxy when it is done right." She grinned wider though while walking and motioning fo her to be able to come and join her. Leading the way for them to be able to go to the labs as here it was smaller than the main ones but.... the dimensional engineering worked in many ways to increase the size of what they were able to do. Different techs were working on clothing, their smart roads that would be added to tunnels across the planet to increase travel and developing better repulsor technologies for their airships. Quiet and stealth like in many cases before Junko looked at more of it. "We are working on improvements for the basics here... the labs in the anshin and stations work on celestial engineering... we just have the dimensional engineering aspects to make more space in smaller confined areas."

Shopping was not something that I would typically consider a highlight of my day. At least not for fashion items. A new hyperdrive or hydrospanner something else to make sure the Deviant ran smooth was thrilling sport, but a cute blouse or accessory was not something I liked to spend a lot of time on. Sure I enjoyed looking cute, but I stayed basic mostly and that look was pretty easy to achieve. That was my usual view on shopping, but getting a new swimsuit had been my idea. And I was quite interested in seeing what Junko would find appealing on me. ”I am wondering what makes shopping a sport for you? I’ve seen the bargain stores on sale day. That certainly is a sport, but I don’t see you shopping in that sort of place.” I smiled as I followed Junko. The lab of course was full of amazing gadgets and experiments that I would hopefully gain understanding of in time. I saw clothing for sure. More than just fashion though I would wager a guess. And something that looked like a travelway, probably the smart roads that Junko had mentioned. Getting around Atrisia was going to be an interesting pastime. ”The basics are where everyone has to start. I might understand a standard hyperspace engine, but that doesn’t mean I can translate that straight to your faster than light modifications. As much as I love traveling amongst the stars, in the transportation business making the most of the space you have can be just as important. If I can learn how to outfit a light freighter to haul the capacity of a Super Transport that would make things easier on me and those I transport for.”

"Oh sweet.... sweet Latyuo you have no idea. shopping does so much more than just get clothing or equipment. It is a way to judge a planet. The way the people dress if it is colors, plain, solid, outlandish or simple... can tell you the general mood of the public. If the world you are on it a bunch of similarly dressed people the ones who stand out can vary but usually they can give you the better pulse... or hair or food even." Walking around in the lab was important and she was able to check out more of it... a smile forming on her face where she checked it out. She moved. "Well the basics can go a long way, these roadways we are making for instance are being designed to be enclosed in tunnels. To both isolate them and provide a secured method of getting around. Buried in the ground and avoiding being seen from the surface... with waystations for droids and scanners along the wy or tram services within that will allow transportation quickly. With the dimensional engineering we will be able to make them much larger underground and able to pad them with additional protection like inertial systems for impact or shielding to prevent damage."

I silently cursed myself for blushing so deeply as Junko called me sweet. I hate the way a blush looks on my cheeks and the fact that Junko could make me squirm with the slightest little compliment made me equally uneasy. Though the latter in a completely different way and I was coming around to Junko being the one to do so. It was strange to feel like this for a woman I always saw myself with the “normal” family, and doing it better than mine did. But I was starting to see that nothing in the galaxy was truly normal. Perhaps it was time I just let things happen instead of trying to force a plan into action. ”It’s funny on Mirial I was the oddball that stood out, but once I got out into the galaxy I turned out to be the boring one. I can see the use of seeing what is in shops and comparing it by what is worn on the streets of a place. And food is definitely a good way to judge a planet. Spicy or bland. It tends to say something about the people.” I listened to the explanation of the tunnels and the use of dimensional engineering. ”So you plan on making the tunnels larger with engineering. That’s smart and keeping things hidden and secure certainly has its benefits. Have you considered making the much smaller tunnels for inorganics and using dimensional engineering to size the transports and cargo to fit. It would be even easier to hide them that way.”

"We have, we have been working on compartments like the ones on my ship which make smaller spaces exponentially larger and like in the survival packs we have been able to engineer containers that let smaller shuttles and group vehicles to be carried. So worse case scenario you will have a vehicle to survive with." She said it while there was more. She could show her some of the better tech that they were working on. "THis is a Ginnregin unit. We have managed to scale it down and produce more models but.... it produces and channels enough dark energy to power a world like Coruscant or Denon. The power levels we have been able to get for it are off the charts. Atrisia has one for each palace as a back up to the primary so the planet won't run out of power without something drastic."

I was not surprised that my idea for shrinking non-sentient cargo had already been thought of and was in the works. I was also quite intrigued by the possibility of storing a vehicle in a pack. That would be a convenient thing to have in a pinch. I was quite sure that I would be requesting a survival pack anytime I left Atrisia going forward. As we moved on to new things Junko pointed out a power unit. I was honestly quite shocked at what I was told. This engine could power all of a planet like Coruscant? I assumed that it would take hundreds of thousands if not millions of generators to keep the lights on for that many people. ”Atrisian brains must work on another level.” I said with a giggle. ”I consider myself quite inventive when it comes to holding the Deviant together under some extreme conditions, but to be able to come up with this stuff is just another world. While I would love to know how it all works. I’m sure it is beyond my capabilities. How I can use these marvels on tech that I understand would be quite valuable though.”

"Atrisia always had bright minds but when most of our population was under attack they went into overdrive and it might have been painful but they needed to be able to make leaps and bounds technologically faster than most." She said it while they were looking at some of the other ttech. Plans for different armors were there. "This scout suit for example is aa hybrid it doubles like a vehicle.... don't tell Supisy. You can wear the armor and the repulsors and wheels allow you to speed along with inertial dampeners as well as impact shielding so you can be your own vehicle to get around. It reduces profile since most are designed to match speeds with an interceptor fighter."
