Taming the Icy Hell (OS Dominion of Vullain)

Objective: C
Location: Vullain
Allies: The One Sith
Post: [2/20]

Over a two hundred bodies lay before Konrad courtesy of his elite unit, Die Jager. It was a much lower body count than he had expected which was quite the disappointment. Konrad glared at his men, he did not take disappointment well. He had thought he had trained them better but it seems not.

“You all disappoint me,” Konrad growled at his men. “I expect this unit to be a unit of elite soldiers but it seems I was wrong. Had my expectations been met, the body count would have been at least in the three hundreds.” Konrad sighed, annoyed. “Despite this mediocre body count, the winner is still be exempt from punishment.”

Konrad, annoyed and disappointed with the actions of his men, drew his lightsaber and cut the icy ground of Vullain to form a pool. Konrad glared at his unit. “The punishment for you failures is to swim ten laps in the icy cold water with a set of twenty kilo weights strapped your backs. If you think you cannot complete these laps, drown and save me the ammunition it will take to kill you.”

"First," said Elia, "I should like to discuss with you the matter of the trooper you lost."

"What about him?" said Melori, coldly.

"It occurs to me," said Elia, "That a stronger helmet may have enabled him to survive." She handed Melori a helmet that resembled those worn by the troopers, with slight modifications. "This prototype helmet has been reinforced at the structural joins and is much more resilient. I would ask your opinion of it."

Flattered by Elia's solicitation, Melori donned the helmet. "It seems comfortable enough..." she began.

Too late, Melori heeded the insistent presence of the Force, which had tried to pierce her concentration. She tried to jerk the helmet off but was too slow. A stinging gas issued from the helmet's interior, and she suddenly felt as though an orray had been dropped atop her. Before she could hold her breath, she was out.
When she awoke, she was dismayed, though not surprised, to find her hands bound behind her and her lightsaber and comlink missing. She glanced at the entrance to the lab and saw the armoured forms of the troopers lying motionless around her.

Standing beside the doctor was a man she had seen working with Elia's people. His slightly stooped posture hid the broadness of his shoulders and imbued his simple vest and pants with the weight of a scholar's robes. He wore a goatee that accented the lines of his face and softened the angularity of his features. She couldn't distinguish the colour of his eyes.

With permission from [member="Darth Rapax"], here are new objectives for the One Sith Military.

NEW OBJECTIVES FOR THE ONE SITH ARMY AND NAVY

Army Objective:

Members of the Army: [member="Knight Mullarus"] | [member="Kelon Amadis"] | [member="Nyicon Sadachbian"] | [member="Iron Knight Loarko"] | [member="Ravager"] | [member="Aeon Dyson"] | [member="Decimus Maccius"] |

The Imperialists are trying to quell the rebellion but your objective is not to simply quell the ongoing rebellion but to capture them. We are always in need of new meat shields-ahem, soldiers and the One Sith can be very…persuasive. Perhaps we can convince them to join us. However, if you prefer a more covert operation, track down and capture the families of these rebels, they are just as guilty and deserve to be punished by sending them to one of our lovely slave camps where everyone is welcome and no one is decimated against for any reason.

M1 – Assist the Imperial Forces in quelling the ongoing rebellion with the capture of the rebels as your main objective.

M2 – Track down, capture and send the families of the rebels to a slave camp

Navy Objective:

Members of the Navy: | [member="Thanith Gumara"] | [member="Cyrus Tregessar"] | [member="Syyl Vester"] |

The rebels have extended their efforts into the skies. While the rebellion is ongoing on land, the rebels have sent ships into the air to indiscriminately shoot down all aircraft not associated with them. These ships may be primitive but pilots are skilled so do not underestimate them. Your objectives are to either:

N1 - Turn back ships from entering the planet until the rebellion is over or if they carry important resources such as food, escort them safely on to the planet.

N2 - Or, you if you prefer, you can take on the rebels head on by engaging them in battle and send them back to their planet in a burning heap of metal.

NOTE: If you are a part of the One Sith military, and wish to participate another objective, feel free to do so. This is just to increase your options :). You can request your Army Rank here and your Navy Rank here if you wish to join.

ALSO, if you wish to have human opposition, you can tag me and I will play as the NPC master.

She looked about the lab. There, on the main examination table, were her lightsaber and comlink. If she could just ignore the throbbing in her head and draw the lightsaber to her to sever her bonds.... Failing that, she could release the binders telekinetically, but that could be slow going.

There was time for neither gambit. The doctor turned, smiling as she might at a presumptuous child. She laughed, with a sound like rusty bolts being shaken in a can. "Really, Darth Timoris, you are far too naive to be a Sith Lord, not to suspect that helmet might have been tampered with?”

Melori nodded. "Let me—" This was briefly interrupted by a coughing fit; her throat felt raw and unused. "Let me guess. You've been bribed to get rid of me?"

“Let’s say we’re freelance."

‘"We?" Melori said, cocking an eye at the man.

“Oh him? He originally tried to join my expedition using credentials stolen from a research assistant he waylaid. When his ruse was uncovered, I daresay I astonished him not by turning him in, but by asking to join him." She shrugged, disarmingly.

"It's a perfect partnership," said the man. "She can identify and find the technology that remains, and I can get it past the One Sith blockade."

"So you're just another smuggler," said Melori.

"I think of myself as a scholar," he said, in a tone of mock offence.

'Go hunting' they said, 'it'll be fun,' they said. Well, if you asked a certain raven-haired madwoman, it was, in fact, not fun in the very slightest sense of the word. So far it was better than the Rakatan world (that one had been ridiculously hot), but, of course, that was not saying much. This planet was cold. Usually Ire didn't mind a bit of poor weather. This world, however, was worse than what she was used to. Or at least the part she was on at the moment. Snow was swirling all around her, blurring her vision considerably. It made tracking that blasted Terron damn-near impossible.

Near, but not fully.

Being connected with the force meant that she could follow it despite the white-out. 'It' being a Wampa-like creature that had been terrorizing a local village. Or had it been a town? City? Settlement? Ire was unsure of the proper term. All she knew was that she didn't believe that there would only be one animal out there. But the hunting party that walked alongside her seemed to think differently. They were all locals, holding simple slugthrowers in their hands, knifes strapped to their hips. Realistically, they would be able to hunt a single Terron by themselves.

A whole pack of them?... Ire didn't think the beasts traveled in packs. But the further she wandered into the storm... the more signatures she detected. And it became quite, quite clear why the Sith had decided to hunt down the creatures. This many of them could disrupt more than simple village life. So, with a scowl, she trekked on, listening to the sounds of beasts howling in the distance...

Zhall decided if he was going to get recognized in One Sith, and known throughout the galaxy, he was going to need to put in work. After putting in a request to take a small squad of NPC Sith soldiers with him on a small mission, Zhall set out to capture village currently being occupied by rebels. The squad consisted of five men. three rifle men, a grenadier, and a medic. This would be Zhall's first time in actual combat, but he had a feeling he would do alright. Atleast thats what he told himself whilst trying to fight back the dreaded feeling that he may die or fail miserably.

After hours of marching, Zhall decided to stop to scout of the area for any rebel movement. He ordered one of the rifle men to scope out the area with some binoculars atop of a high up rock. Zhall waited patiently for the soldier to return, using the free time to practice moving things via telekinesis with the force. When the scout had returned he reported seeing a rebel convoy on the move in area. Now was his time to shine.

Nomkneer traveled to the planet of Vullain on a one sith ship to help conquer said planet, he was not interested in anything at first really and seeing that its a domination made by [member="Darth Rapax"], someone who has had some types of rivalry with the kaleesh and even though they have had their ups and downs he is still one of the sith. Nomkneer got interested in the idea of going when he heard there was a plague in the planet that was doing devastating effects upon the people and fauna, a destructive illness with disastrous results. The kaleesh arrived at the planet and was located in a forest of ice a few meters from a tribal town where he was quickly sipping through the shadows within the trees.

As he went by through the forest he saw three natives guarding the left area where he was, 'easy pray' he thought as he got close and took out his sith assasin hidden blade in his wrist and switched it to crossbow mode which he then used to shoot all three victims when they would separate at the rightful moment, Nomkneer knew when to take the opportunity to shoot the target. He killed all three and used telekinesis to get the bodies out of there, he hid them in the forest lying on top of branches that were full of leaves and tapped from any view from below.

Nomkneer went to the town cloaked walking slowly across the town, people watched but the kaleesh didn't care as he searched for the nearest hospital or anything similar. He saw the tribal people spoke a language he couldn't so it was difficult to speak, Nomkneer took out a language translating system to speak along the way asking where he could find a doctor. "I need to search for a doctor, i'm studying the plague and i want to find a cure" Nomkneer lied and they believed it after they heard the translator they immediately pointed him out to the nearest medic point.

Nomkneer asked and spoke to the man about the plague and how does it work, how long it takes to kill and how fast does it spread. These were all important questions to see if the plague was good enough for Nomkneers future weapon, he needed to find a plague that was worthy enough.

Of course she sensed them before she saw them. What kind of force user would she be if she didn't sense a beast hurtling through the snow at her? There wasn't a real answer to that question, but if you had asked her it, she would have said 'a bad one'. Regardless, her powers were enough to let her know that a Terron was fast approaching her location. Just a bit further out she could tell that a few more were coming as well- though a fair bit slower than the first. Had the woman not been bored out of her mind, she might have been mildly concerned by that fact. But here she was, feeling as apathetic as ever, longing for a challenge to present itself and keep her busy.

It was instinct, not kindness, that made her warn her companions about the incoming beasts. They raised their guns, pointing in several different directions. Ire herself ignited her lightsaber, keeping it in her left hand. Meanwhile her right extended slightly. Time to fight ice with fire, she thought, trying to ignite the space around her palm. Unsurprisingly, the frigid cold made that rather difficult. And without any real emotions to draw from, the woman found herself with a bare hand mere moments before a monster was going to come trampling in her direction. Cursing under her breath, the woman wondered if her dartcaster could actually be effective against such a creature.

A moment later, as the beast appeared through the snow, and as the device on her arm whirred pitifully, too cold to function, she realized that she might not live to know the answer to her question.

"Actually, the Sith has categorised your species with the unerring precision of a scientist," said the Doctor as she drew a blaster from behind her back.

As the man fumbled for his sidearm, Melori tried to use the Force to jerk the weapon from the woman’s hands, but she was too late. It sounded once, and the man fell. Then it sounded again.

Waking up this time, Melori’s pain was even worse. Surrounded by absolute blackness, she feared for a moment she was blind. But the Force told her she wasn't blind, and she wasn't alone. She was seated on a hard, packed surface, kept in a sitting position by someone behind her whose hands were bound together with hers. It took no Force-granted insight to guess his identity.

Using a brief meditation to damp down her pain, she turned her head and hissed, "Smuggler, wake up!" She rocked from side to side and finally the weight behind her stirred.

"Sh-she betrayed me!" His voice was harsh and raspy. "The witch double-crossed me!"

Despite the circumstances, Melori chuckled. "I'm sure you couldn't have seen that coming."

"Neither did you, Sith."

"I didn't know what she was. What's your excuse?"

"Me? I just wanted some time alone with you."

Melori sighed. "That's not helping."

"Neither is your fidgeting like that."

"I've been trying to untie your bonds," said Melori. "But they're too tight."

Nomkneer was in the tribal town and he had found someone who believed him and was willing to take him to the nearest medic point, they ran fast and as soon as they got to the place the man rushed in and opened the door, asked where the doctor was and demanded he'd see the kaleesh immediately. He walked in and used his communicator to speak to the doctor or what ever name they called him in this planet.

"i am a researcher who came here to complete one last study to be able to create a serum that will completely destroy this desease, but i need some ingredients, they can only be found here and you know them for they slow down the process of the plague, i believe its because it does not have the right amount of concentration"

The sith acolyte was hidden like the shadows inside of the cloak making himself feel as if he was good and supressing his dark side energy so that anyone around would not recognize it, obviously Nomkneer does not know how to suppress it greatly but its enough. They walked up to a green house behind the medic house, they were made of ice blocks and the plants were protected by the isolation from the wind. The cold did not affect the plants for their native planet is an ice planet, but these specific plants have been dying because of people weeding them out to survive the plague longer or natural causes.

"I need a sample from all of these herbs and i want a seed or if some of them don't drop seeds them give me one of the branches to plant them, i need these plants to study them for a period of time and i think i might be able to solve the puzzle and find the cure sooner than expected"

Nomkneer was giving all kinds of hopes to these sorry people of this planet, he knew that they had no way to survive, the effects were long and it was a slow death but he was here on the motive to enhance this plague and make it way deadlier than before. Reaching this goal will need more than just good observation and instincts, the kaleesh will need help from brothers of the sith in order to enhance this plague to a lethal state.

The medic started taking seeds and branches from the plants that didn't drop seeds, he took this all in his bag and gave a fake card with false information to the medic telling him some comforting words.

"Do not worry, i will be working to make the serum at all times, your not alone and i will keep you updated"

The kaleesh spoke through the communicator and it translated the message towards the medic, a smile came upon his face and an even bigger smile came upon Nomkneers.

'Now all i need is some help to create one flask of antidote and creating the antidote is gonna be the hard part... But everything is going smooth at the very least"

Nomkneer left the place and went back into the icy forest aside the tribal town in hopes of finding the savage beasts that live in there and take one home to his collection.

"And here I just thought you wanted to hold hands," the man replied.

"Will you take this seriously?"

"But I am, Darth Timoris. I've decided that the doctor must have wanted to torture me."

"Torture you? Why?"

"Because she didn't tie us front-to-front."

Timoris again wished she had her lightsaber, though she had an entirely different use for it in mind.

"I wonder where we are?" he said, finally.

"Smell the air? That's soil. And it's moist. From the echo of our voices, I'd say we're in a deep cavern. The doctor must have disposed of us here."

"Yes, probably with one of those antigravity carts used for hauling large specimens. I think one of us has been insulted."

"That would be me," said Timoris, "Left here tied to you."

Her pale fingers, strong and slender, caressed his scruffy cheek. She pulled him tightly to her chest, running her short, black-painted nails through his brown hair. The lips that normally uttered only orders of destruction now offered words of comfort as she held this human in her arms. Her bald head reflected the moonlight dimly as she craned her long neck down to kiss his forehead. The overgrown manchild in her arms tremored.

“There, there my love. It is all good now, the dragon is dead.”

Her words ushered in a weak nod among the whimpers, and the pale grey eyes of Darth Ophidia turned to the pool of blood that crawled across the floor. Even though her voice was full of sympathy, her eyes stared coldly at the occurrence and narrowed in a pleased manner.

“But the dragon haunts my dreams. I cannot wash the blood from my hands, they are stained, forever stained.”

“Shush my child; do not let the Dragon steal your mind. He has sown a seed of regret in your mind; this is an illusion. You have done nothing wrong, but fulfilled the wish of the Emperor. You will be rewarded beyond measure!”

[ELIMINATE REBELLION]

Descending into the atmosphere, the icy surface of Vullain looked like a fragile snow globe. The time spent on the Wingtip with his unliikely Sith ally proved fruitful for the Vong. Not only was his life saved by the combination of their efforts, but in the time it took to arrive on Tython, Yun learned much about the ship in his possession, its mechanisms and the basics of piloting the vessel. Such limited knowledge was a hindrance of course but with the aid of maps provided by the Sith on Tython, Yun made it here in one piece which, for the Vong, was a triumph.

From the outside, the Wingtip was already changing. Organic plating grew from dents and scratches in the ship's hull, creating a patchwork of steel and bright coral connected by taut highways of external nervous systems which linked the various growths together with the Wingtip's electronics, siphoning enough power to provide warmth to the Biots incubating in the interior of the Coral. Inside, the vessel bore no resemblance to a freighter but was a network of flesh, coral and tendons strained firmly through every corridor. Managing the ship alone, leaving the navigational computer to do much of the flying, Yun had time in excess, allowing him to Shape all that he desired. Instinctual knowledge compelled him to create and the ship was now teeming with life.

For now, Yun's place in the Galaxy appeared to be among the Sith. After all, he was here to prove his allegiance to their cause, a small test they told him, in order to spare him from imprisonment. They would provide a springboard for the Vong to traverse the Galaxy until he knew what he was searching for. Questions about the nature of his awakening aboard the satellite were put aside and when the Wingtip touched down the vast wasteland of Vullain, Yun found himself focused for the first time in weeks. Disembarking the ship, the Vong's form drifted onto the snow, a huddled mass of fabric and fur, face concealed by an Imperial gas mask, his Shaper hand writhing beneath the folds of his clothes. Outwardly, his appearance did much to hide his species. He was, however, immediately given away by the slithering horde of living creatures which followed in his wake, Biots far evolved from the pitiful insects he employed when Kevros had set foot onto the Wingtip. Reptilian quadrupeds, the largest of the procession, gnashed their teeth, overtaking and summarily circling backwards to join their fellows as he walked.

He clutched at a small machine in his left hand, rising it into view. Equipment and clothing, another thing provided to him after his initial questioning by the Sith on Tython. In the distance, the Scanner detected a cluster of motion and heat. Yun was only vaguely aware of any objectives to be accomplished, he had been told of rebelling forces who fought against the Sith's occupation and any settlement detected on his Scanner was likely to be rife with those resisting the Imperium.

It took some time to hike across the dunes to the east of the commotion and when Yun crested the apex of an icy ridge, he looked down to see what he had discovered. Several large warehouses dotted the encampment, over the top of which were pulled white tarpaulins that aimed to hide them from aerial view. Men and woman dressed in heavy white uniforms patrolled the grounds, carefully clutching rifles in unsteady hands. Citizens turned soldiers. Rebels. Yun crouched low, left knee settling in the snow, examining the stronghold. Trained or not, the sheer firepower would make it nearly impossibly for the Vong to stage a frontal assault. He would have to approach cautiously.

[member="Iziz"]

[1 // 20]
[JOIN YUN // ELIMINATE AA TURRETS]

Iziz from high above the battlefield looked down on multiple intended targets, some larger than others, several key targets lit up on his map, Iziz had been tasked with the infiltration and systematic elimination of several large AA weapons which were located in a forward base of the Rebels. The encampment seemed to be heavily fortified by conscripted soldiers, led by what few veterans the Rebel forces were able to spare. Iziz doubted there would be Jedi or force users amongst their ranks, however, the presence of a Sith Assassin on the battlefield would be something which, no doubt, they were unlikely ready for.

But something wasn't right.

While the Sith was able to sense the life forms reflected and reinforced by the images he was seeing on his screen as red heat signatures against the snow, there was one head signature that was massive in comparison... and in the shape of a ship... what was stranger was, the man's heat signature which had traveled some distance and now seemed to be overlooking the base, held no force signature that Iziz was able to comprehend, either via means of suppression... or non-existence. Regardless, there was a player on the field which Iziz had not been made clear of, so, rather than attacking and infiltrating the base alone, he would instead back off. Flying wide with his Phasma Class Interceptor, Iziz would bring his ship around and down behind the Wingtip, stationing it nearby before the Jawa disembarked.

The sight which greeted him was astounding.

The 'corrupted' ship was crawling with biomass, converting into a living being, something which Iziz had never seen before, though, even if only through fables whispered across the galaxy, he understood why he was not able to sense a force signature from the person who was little more than a hundred meters ahead of him... It was a Vong. Approaching the man cloaked in warm furs and a gas-mask issued by the empire, Iziz immediately assumed the individual as an ally. A sigh of relief leaving his lips as calm resonated through his body, but was immediately halted by the sight of the strange procession, the quadrupedal lizards and other strange proto-beings which followed the Vong seemed to be an array of sharp teeth and claws with little else to them. So, Iziz felt that prey seated nervousness creep in again like a venom, but thankfully hidden by his garments. The Jawa wore his usual attire, white-washed for this special occasion. Protective white leathers covered his person and concealing his spinning lightsabers as well as a series of thermal detonators for his objectives. His mechanical tail wrapped thrice around his waist under his shirts, keeping the weight centered as well as the weapon hidden. The face of the Jawa was covered with a white gauze, hiding all features save for his two amber bio-luminescent eyes which shone above it. Finally, donned with a rather unique looking wide-brimmed hat, rather than the hood of a usual Jawa.

"Ahoy..."

The Jawa would greet with a youthful yet hoarse and raspy voice in galactic basic. A strenuous trait for a Jawa.

"Are you backup?"

The Jawa seemed somewhat cheerful as he reached behind himself and drew one of his two hilts, little more than a grip with a semi-circle covering his knuckles like a guard as the Jawa approached Yun's position overlooking the base. Iziz hoped that the Vong ally would be friendly, though, every-time he hoped such things he understood on some deeper level that he was hoping against the common nature of the One Sith. It would be likely that this Vong, like every other monster created by the Sith war-machine would be yet another bloodthirsty tyrant waiting to gain just enough power to carve their own name in blood.

It was tiring.

But at least it seemed that the Rebel forces had not been made aware of their position yet, The biological nature of the Vong's ship had likely altered the ships composition enough to evade basic scanners, while the Phasma class was particularly known as a stealth ship under the employ of the Sith Assassins for those who cared about such things. And was more than capable of evading the basic sensors of a forward base.

Konrad dismissed his unit. They were done training for the day as Konrad was only human, there was only so much disappointment he could take and he was dangerously close to his daily limit. Instead of wasting his time on them, Konrad decided to work on improving his much neglected force abilities.

Closing his eyes, Konrad pictured an image his old Jedi master, a man who had high hopes for him. He had been told from a young age he had the talent to become a master as a young child yet he had no ambition to become one. When Aveline was still alive, Konrad's dreams were simple and one he almost achieved. During that time when life was simpler, his only wish was to achieve Knighthood - something he had already completed, serve the Jedi Order and marry and start a family with Aveline.

Now his dream was simple but harder to achieve. It was to avenge The death of his beloved fiancée and exterminate the Jedi. From the outside, the Jedis may seem like heros but that was merely a facade. They were a bunch of phonies and liars, even worse than the Sith in Konrad's opinion. At least the Sith were more honest about their evil.

Konrad frowned, realising he had let his mind wander. The past was the past. What was done was done. Now the only thing he could do was avenge her. Focusing again on the image of his old master, he replicated a near perfect illusion of the man. It seemed the power of Konrad's illusion was based on the intensity of his emotions, something Konrad had to work on.

Focusing again on his illusion, Konrad had the man walk up to him and start mutilating itself. Only blood would pay for blood and Konrad fully intended to extract payment from the flesh and blood man in person one day. No Jedi or their associates - even the children - will be spared from Konrad's wrath.

[ELIMINATE REBELLION]

Rotation after rotation, the rebels guarding this base, civilians or not, had the rounds practiced and perfected. Against a foe as efficient a killing machine as the Sith Imperium, these fighters knew to remain vigilant. Yun watched carefully for any signs of an opening he could use to hit them at full force and was quickly disappointed. Looking to his left, the Vong gestured to one of four large reptiles which circled him. Snarling, the lizard made its way forward and down the length of the ridge, circling wide when reaching the bottom towards the front of the encampment.

The reptilian scouts alerted Yun to the stranger's presence long before he spoke. Iziz would find himself navigating through a small menagerie of scaled monstrosities. At first the monsters growled, several larger reptiles standing up on their hind legs in boastful intimidation. Yun turned slowly, eyes catching on the source of his creatures' commotion. If it weren't for the disembodied eyes and ominous streak of black shadow that hung in the air, Iziz would have blended seamlessly with the snow. A Jawa, a rare sight so far from the deserts of Tatooine made even rarer by the harsh ice planet the two were occupying. Hesitant at first, the stranger approached, watched at all times by predatory bystanders, forked tongues whipping at their lips, eager for Yun to give the order to feast.

"An Ally," Yun replied. The Jawa would find himself beset upon by a number of the Vong's creations. They moved close to him, sniffing at him and circling him tightly before their master extended his left arm and clenched his fist, a sign that caused the beasts to retreat closer to the Vong.

"My pets yearn to feed,"

"Shall we satiate them?"

From the intricate folds of Yun's clothing, tendrils emerged. Snaking into the air, the Shaper's hand would come down firmly on the nose of one of the three largest remaining creatures. The caress of Yun's hand produced a dim orange glow emanating from markings which adorned the reptile's head. Linked telepathically with its broodmates, the connection allowed Yun to communicate with the beast which was now lying in wait on the opposite side of the base. Even from their perch, the pair would hear the shriek escape the vicious maw of the Vong's scout, a high pitched roar echoed across the expanse, causing guards to scramble for position to investigate the looming threat.

Wasting precious little time, Yun's legs tensed and he was off towards the edge of the dune. In his stead, the brood followed closely at the silent order to attack, many of the larger creatures overtaking Yun entirely. Sliding at first, steadying himself against the snow with his Shaper hand, Yun broke out into a beeline for what was now the weakest side of the base. Rebels moved in shabby patterns to examine the source of Yun's distraction, uncovering the reptile quickly and opening fire without hesitation. Alone, the scout stood little chance against the volley of blaster fire. An acceptable sacrifice for the Vong who reached the unguarded side of their garrison with no resistance. From behind the firing line of soldiers came the first attack, the triumvirate of remaining broodmates pounced, digging claws and teeth into the legs and necks of three soldiers, eliciting a chorus of screams.

The squads turned, eyes darting between the pack of Yun's pets and the bloodstained ice around them. Panicked and unsure, their fire was uncoordinated, allowing the Vong himself to take a wide berth onto the battlefield. Howling blaster fire pierced the silent tundra. Yun whipped around the side of a warehouse to the right hand side of two rebels. Reeling backwards, Yun's hand readied itself and rocketed forward, tentacles deftly maneuvering to constrict the arms of the soldiers, tightening suddenly Yun could feel their bones snap. From under their arms, more digits shot upwards, disarming the two men. In his hand, Yun cradled the pair of blaster rifles briefly before whirling them around and opening fire, close range bolts searing flesh from bone.

Yun hoped Iziz would follow suit. While a sneak attack like this afforded Yun the luxury of positioning and initial thinning, if the rebels managed to rally and cooperate, even the Vong and his creatures wouldn't be able to overwhelm them.

As the "Scourge" appeared in orbit Dar thought of the slaughter waiting below. Honestly he didn't care who he killed and if he killed another sith then they were too weak to be named such. "Sir shall we prepare a landing party?" "No captain I would like to enjoy myself" Without another word Dar stomped briskly to the hangar. Getting in his Interceptor he landed where he thought the action would be thickest. He was right. Practically diving into a small group of them he killed them with his bare hands. Afterwards he let loose a blood curdling roar. Oh he was going to enjoy himself. Then he realized he didn't know who "they" were. Looking around he realized they were sith soldiers. Meh.

Relying on intense emotions to conjure up an illusion was a bad habit for one to adopt. Skills needed to be trained so that they did not require specific circumstances to be used.

Konrad focused and conjured up an illusion of a standard soldier. The illusion was a passable one but that was something that could be improved over time the more he used the skill. He started by having the soldier walk around a bit then esclated it to speed walking and evenually running. Konrad sustained this illusion for a little over fifteen minutes before he had to take a break. It was good to work hard but overexertion was something only fools would do.

Feeling a little tired, Konrad sat down for a few minutes on the icy ground of Vullain. After having rested what he deemed was just enough, the Brigadier General returned to his training. Focusing on the image of a standard soldier again, he conjured up the illusion again. This time instead of having the soldier run, he had the soldier perform army drills. The illusion's movement had improved and the quality of the illusion was also slightly better which satisfied him.

This time, Konrad was able to sustain the illusion for almost 20 minutes. Although he had neglected his connection with the force, he still showed a lot of peromise when it came to the force and a fast learner.

[JOIN YUN // ELIMINATE AA TURRETS]

Iziz couldn't help but feel fear as the Reptiles rose high, each of them were alone large enough to probably take the Jawa down in a couple of bites, and the rodent reptile relationship was not something that was lost on the Jawa as they gazed at him with the deepest of desires. If one person knew what it was to hunger with intimacy, it was Iziz. Thankfully, it would be in the direction of the compound that their attention would be directed as their next place of feeding. Each of the gigantic reptiles moved out, and Iziz did so in turn, keeping up with the much larger humanoid as he revealed what seemed to be a hand unlike any he had seen before. Something about it was different, there was a power, a command almost radiating from it. Though Iziz was too unlearned to make out its purpose.

Iziz would watch Yun take his first aggressive step toward the compound, it was time, Iziz took these quick few moments to center himself in the force, placing each of his hands to either side of his stomach for a moment as he would begin to feel the limitless void which stretched out from within. His mind wrapping around the concept of hunger, that he needed to feed, needed to survive, allowing that drive and desperation push his body further than it would normally be willing to go. Like a spark, hunger converted to power, flowing from his core through his veins like nitro, supercharging the rodent as he would become filled with the power of the force, enhancing his speed and motion, honing his senses like a scalpel to be able to keep up with his superhuman speed... Yun's forces had by this point reached the compound, distracting the enemy with their presence and allowing Yun to make his stand on his terms...

This Guy knows what he's doing... Time to go...

Iziz leaned forward over the ledge, allowing himself to fall a couple of feet before his toes hit the ground, his legs bending at the knee and angling the front of his body to a near horizontal position. Using a force jump, horizontally from the ground, Iziz would explode from his position at speed, rapidly closing the gap between him and his destination with his hands lagging behind him, gripping each of his two light-sabers tightly as the Jawa approached the wall of the complex. Not slowing, not stopping, Iziz would meet the wall head-first, jumping high and allowing his foot to meet the twelve foot tall strcture, kicking upwards, vaulting over the wall and entering the fray. The read beams from his light-sabers would roar to life with the sound of a whip-crack. Keeping low and to the shadows, Iziz waited for several men to charge for Yun's position.

Got you!

No sooner than the soldiers passed his hiding spot, Iziz lunged out from the darkness with force enhanced speed, a single red strike whipping through the air, lingering for a moment as the Soldiers failed to make their next step, their shins falling from their bodies at the knee, pain barely registering until moments after as their heavy bodies smashed to the ground. Letting out cries of anguish at the sudden appearance of the Sith Knight... Extending the second blades of his weapons, Iziz wore the blades like a Katar, with one blade extending back down the length of his fore-arm while the other penetrated forward in line with his fist. Looking to the next opponents, aiming their weapons and calling for help they would open fire.

Activating the spin on one of his weapons, what would appear to be two blades would disappear and distort into a single red disk, blaster shots crashing into it and deflecting at uncontrollable angles as Iziz darted to a side, jumping and kicking off a wall, changing direction to be in line with their head-height before throwing the spinning disc at their torso's. Ripping through several of them in a line as the Jawa dropped to the ground, crouching low and zig-zagging between them cutting out the ankles of the survivors before calling back his throwing weapon and looking back to Yun... Eyes widening in surprise at the scene which was playing out.

"Look out on high!"

The Jawa Let out a cry moments before several soldiers led by a veteran commander had taken up arms upon the top of a nearby barracks, the veteran taking aim with a long range thermal rocket launcher, he would let fly with an aimed shot for the ground at the foot of the Vong, while the others would attempt to lay down fire upon him and his creatures. Hopefully the warning was specific enough to call the surprise attack to the Vong's attention and allow him to evade the warhead as it soared through the air toward him... Iziz, not knowing fear at the current moment would charge toward Yun in a hopes of clearing his escape, coming behind several of those who had advanced on him and changing their attentions, cutting legs from their bodies like felling trees with an axe, the miniature sith would pull the attention of those around him, allowing the Vong to move more freely within his space without fear of being shot on the way... If Yun managed to make it out, Iziz would toss him one of his own Thermal detonators.

"We need to take out the big guns around the base! Or else our ships can't come in here!"

He yelled over the roar of fire and blasters which echoed around them.

Objective: Kill the rebels
2/20
Walking for a while he came apon a gaggle of soldiers and their commanding officer. Being the wonderful man he was Dar lunged right in the middle of them. They must have been good. They managed two full shots off before he broke them. Moving on he found a couple of barracks. Wasting no time he sprinted into them slaughtering everything in his wake. Roaring with blood lust he extended force lightening not down his arm but out his whole body making an almost cloud like effect. He was now killing them at an unprecedented rate. Quickly Dar got down to the business of enjoying himself.
