Tatooine
Unspecified location near the dune sea

Welcome_to_Tatooine.jpg

Tatooine. A beautiful planet, if you can look past all the criminal elements and corruption on the planet. Especially the dune sea. It was an endless desert full of sand and calmness. It was the perfect place for someone just seeking to relax and calm themselves. It was also a perfect place for criminals to set up their camps, since no one knew what exactly was going on inside the dune sea at all times. But Hayato wasn’t inside the Dune Sea. He was sitting atop a cliff which was facing the dune sea. His legs were crossed in a meditative position and his hands were resting on his knees. He was trying to meditate about the Force, to find out more about himself and about his situation.
Sorry about the short post, but this is the third time I'm writing a thread today and I got frustrated. Sorry, the next ones are going to be better, I promies.

Vorhi had spent the entire weekend negotiating a truce between a local Tusken tribe and a group of Jawa migrants for safe passage. The duties of diplomats. Still, he was no climbing a cliff, because, well, because he was Vorhi. Vorhi always liked cliffs, even if he couldn't appreciate the view. Besides, once he had gone up, down was even easier. And, to be honest, it was good workout. He needed a good workout. He climbed up, surfacing over the cliff, two find to things. A man with a strong spirit, sitting and meditating. The other thing he found was a cactus. He decided to disturb the cactus first, piecing a small hole in it with finger, and emptying some pulp-filled water into his flask. He sipped some, and sat beside the man. "Hi there. What are you focusing on? Sometimes, talking allows us to sort what's in our minds as well as meditation," he mused cheerily, gazing at the man.

Meditating here on Tatooine revealed to be a pretty calming thing. He was able to feel almost complete tranquility once again. Everything was so ... peaceful. He forgot about everything for a couple of seconds. About the Confederacy, about the Templars, about his Lightsaber training, about his apprentice, even about breathing for a second, though he remembered that one pretty quickly. Forgetting how to breathe had disturbed his meditation for a minute. He tried to get back into the calm mindset, but he just couldn't and when he heard someone approach and sit down next to him, he just completely gave up.

''Nothing, really. I just felt like meditating. This place was just so full of calmness and tranquility, I just had to meditate.'' He told the stranger. It was not common for people to just sit down next to others and start a conversation like that, but Hayato liked it. He sometimes acted like that himself. So the man had already gotten Hayato's attention and Hayato was already liking the stranger. He was interested in how their conversation would turn out now, after all, you don't meet complete strangers in the middle of nowhere and have them sit down next to you and start a conversation. That's the stuff of legends and great adventure stories, not the casual everyday life.

Vorhi smirked toward the young man. His posture was calm. His movement relaxed. He didn't even seem to notice "That's fair. This planet can be quiet at times, until it gets dangerous again," he said with a nod. "The fishing, however," he said with a smirk, "is terrible. " He stood up slowly, stretching his limbs. "Couldn't help but notice the swords. You fight for a living, young man?" He inquired with amusement. Maybe this would provide some entertainment. Hell, he could go for teaching the kid a thing or two. Or maybe he'd just find a new profit in this.

He watched and observed the new playmate. Let's see how he'd respond. It'd be interesting, he hoped. After all, the only way to learn about someone was to probe their thoughts with words, after all.

The conversation of the two quickly turned to that of discussing swords and the like. Hayato was quite fond of them, he was an aspiring blade master himself and he had quite some experience fighting people with swords. He had started learning the ways of the blade at a very young age. The earliest memories of him training were from the age of seven. He was training with his father in a certain building that was connected to their home and which had an open roof. He could see everything in detail. It was almost as if he was there again, but then he moved on and replied to the stranger's question. ''Something like that. I don't fight for a living, well not directly, but in a way, I do. You see, I'm a Templar. Templars usually serve the Confederacy whenever they need someone to protect them or someone to carry out their missions, but I have yet to do something like that. I'm more of a wanderer. Just roaming the Galaxy, with my blade as my constant companion.'' Hayato liked that answer. It was rather short, it sounded poetic and it hit the point perfectly.

Vorhi nodded and quirked an unseen eyebrow. Nodding, he reached into his shirt to retrieve his own Templar insignia, showing it to the nice young man. He'd been so busy as of late he hardly heard about the new ones. A shame, really. "I'm Vorhi Alestrani, Templar Magus and master of the weird and esoteric," he said, waving his fingers thoughtfully. "My specialty, though, lays in using the body as a weapon."

He smirked as he looked at the younger man. "Although, perhaps the vagueness is a bit unhelpful. Maybe a demonstration...hmmmm....." he slowly took off his hat. He grinned a touched wickedly. "So, then. What do you think? Care to see an old blind man's means of surviving the wilds of Tattooine?" He said, almost teasingly to the man. It'd be good to see if he still had what it took, anyhow. Never hurt to train one of the newer recruits.

Another Templar? What a coincidence. Hayato was surprised, he hadn't thought of ever meeting another Templar here, not this randomly. Though, it was a positive surprise and the man was quite interesting. 'Master of the weird and esoteric' what an interesting title and using one's body as a weapon? Did he mean that he wanted to use the Force to enhance his body? Or to create powerful waves or energy to knock back enemies? Or maybe something more obvious, maybe just Force Pushes and the like. Oh well, it seemed that guessing wasn't necessary. The man was ready to demonstrate whatever he meant and Hayato was quite interested to see what the man meant by 'using the body as a weapon'. ''Of course, if you want to demonstrate your technique, I will watch carefully.'' The Ronin said calmly. This would be interesting.
