Tenancy (Order of the Gray)

"Well, yeah, these Je'daii had moons -- moons are like a hundred times farther away than your basement."

Alec shrugged and turned to the new arrival. "Sup. I'm Alec Rekali -- you?"

"Minna." The Yodaling would reply, nodding her head slightly as she did. "What brings you here, hmm?" She asked, staring with curiosity up at the woman. Her arms crossed, the one with the gauntlet being on top to avoid uncomfortable positioning. The gauntlet seemed rather big for a small creature like herself, but she seemed to manage having it rather well.

"I'm the landlord," she said with a shrug. "Or at least the landlord's rep. I'm here to make sure everything's safe and nothing poses a threat to the Mandalorians. The alchemy forge, that kind of thing. What do you do here?"

[member="Alec Rekali"]

"Learn, mostly. Only a Knight, I am, not worthy of being a Master yet. But, I am also a member of the council. Some authority, I have, but exercise it, I do not." The Yodaling would look at her two masters, then back at Alec. "What do you think of us so far, may I ask?"

Alec shrugged again. "Frankly, I think you're folks with decent intentions, probably harmless, except for when you get in over your heads and don't realize it. Sound about right to you?"

[member="Alec Rekali"]

Minna gave a quick frown, looking up at the woman with a tilt to her head. "Over our heads? A place of knowledge, this is. Full faith, I have, in that we know what we are doing." She didn't quite understand what made her think this, but she intended to find out, and address the issue.

"You've created an active Dark Side nexus in the basement of the same complex where you raise children. You did that for symbolism you could have gotten from any number of more distant things, and for purposes of creating a handful of swords hardly any of you use. You created that nexus with the intention of concealing it from my grandfather, your host, and you sure as feth never asked him if it'd be fine. Your leaders keep saying things like 'we can't permit you to do that.' You've basically acted like you own the moon, your Order's got a history of treating your hosts like clart, you've got -- I'm saying 'you' and meaning the whole Order of the Grey, not you personally -- you're not acknowledging or really cluing in that there's a Mando fleet insystem ready to wipe this place off the face of Yavin Four, kids or no kids, and this is far enough into the Outer Rim that anything could drop out of hyperspace and eat your collective face. Then there's your leaders insisting on keeping secrets about suspected or confirmed Sith, lying to my grandfather's face -- basically, your whole Order has no idea where it is, what it's doing, or what it's setting itself up for. This ain't a place of knowledge. This is a place of missing the forest for the trees. Reality check, y'know?"

Minna simply stared up at the woman, her face blank in expression, but her anger at the woman easy to sense, even for a non force-user. Her eyes switched two others next to her, but then back to Alec in a cold glare. She remained silent for a few more moments, before choosing her next words specifically. "And what gives you the right? Belongs to people, this planet does. The people who chose to live here. Not the people who choose to 'own' it. If Mandalore, this was, then I would understand. But equal rights over this land, we both have. Both the Order and the Mandalorians are visitors here."
Her tense anger dissipated, and the Yodaling seemed to relax slightly, as she was tensing during her talking. She had come here, to this Nexus of the Light, to meditate, not to be lectured on political land rights by a 'representative'. "Only disturb the peace, you do."

"Might i interupt please, The Nexus is far from anyone that you would have to go into the room and physically be there for a long time. I maintain and make sure that nexus cannot expand so there is no threat of a child getting corrupted unless a council member or myself led the child there and locked them in the room. Next i was truthful the moment you asked about the temple that we had the Alchemy forge, i don't see any intent in hiding it if i told you immediately." She spoke calmly, almost lazily so as if being here seemed to keep her beyond calm and in a carefree state. "We are using one temple as a home, not the entire moon, so i am sorry but you misinterpret our feelings about this place far too often. Not to mention you have repeatably acted like we have no knowledge of what we are doing when i am confident myself and Krest both know far more about light and dark nexus' than you do..." Her eyes then shifted to minna as she spoke and she smiled. "Minna, she is right about the moon, it is by claim the Mandalorian's, and it is by the word of their leaders that we remain here, do remember that please that we are but residing here for as long as the Field Marshall's and Mandalor deems ok." Her eyes then turned to Alec again. "I have no idea which sith you mean, unless myself or Krest because of our past but that is long in the past.

"Lets all relax for a moment yes? Now, Alec, this is not our first time doing this. I understand your concern, which is why I agreed upon allowing a mandalorian to watch the Nexus when it is in use. But do not treat us liken younglings. What we do, we do under the guise that no one can come in and tell us what to do. This was an agreement with Strider after all, and if that is an issue, I suggest talking to him."

A slight sigh escaped his lips as he shook his head. "Though, do not threaten my people here again. It is bad form for a host to threaten their guests, and likewise for a guest to do the same to their host. As for the forge. If we wanted to hide it, we wouldn't of shown you. We do not want this moon, just this temple. If it makes you feel at ease the forge can be moved even deeper into the moons crust."

His hands would clap together suddenly. "Now, enough of this high horse act, all of you yes? This is suppose to be a peaceful visit. No more threats of killing our children, and not more disrespect." The later was aimed at both Alex and Minna, a frown set on his lips. It's easier to prove something then to smay it and male them believe.

"Well, relax elsewhere, I shall." Minna said, a slight coldness to her voice, with a hint of trying to sound relaxed. She would nod a farewell to Krest and Alex. "Leave you to your political claiming, I will. However, remind you, I must, that this is not what the Grey is about." These last sentences seemed to be aimed at everyone, but she didn't make it very clear who she was talking to. Before anyone could ask for clarification though, the Yodaling turned and walked back the way she came. No doubt she would find somewhere else to meditate, and clear her mind of all this nonsense.

"They called me a cynic, but I knew if I pushed you hard enough, I'd see your real face. This is my home, you little twat. My family's home. You're squatters with big titles, but in my house, those titles mean nothing." Alec's eyes narrowed fractionally. "And Strider Garon speaks for your presence in Mando territory, but he does not speak for your presence in this system. That belongs to another Field Marshal entirely, and I speak for him. You and your Order have seventy-two hours to evacuate the Yavin system. Get off my lawn."

She turned and headed for the turbolift.

Alex's face never changed as she just looked at the woman, laughing as orange flecks showed in her eyes. Not enough for Hel to assume complete control but Hel was certainly aiding in the words that came out. "Is that all you need to say, i did not realize you spoke for someone who i have long respected or even more so for the Field Marshall that had said we could reside here. So i do request to hear this from one of them then miss Rekali if you would be so kind." The grin grew and twisted a bit, waiting for Rekali to either leave or open up a commlink.

Alec pulled a comm from her belt. "Grandpa? It's me. Eviction."

"If that's your call, kid," said the voice of Field Marshal Ember Rekali, "I'll stand by it. How much time you give them?"

"Three days."

"Fair enough."

Alec replaced her comm at her belt and touched the turbolift controls. "Cheers," she said, and descended from sight.

"And this is why we can't have nice things. They once said the iridonians were the blood thirsty ones. You've given a bad name to all Mandalorians."

Thankfully, the Grey was ready to leave. They'd be gone as they were asked.
