I have to say, I'm very curious now to see what and how they mess with the 1984 timeline, and work with the T-800 now being this "Guardian" character.

[member="Valiens Nantaris"] well after Mad Max, Jurassic world and even Spy (which I wasn't expecting to be watchable... good is debatable but something you can watch once sure) I am more inclined to give it that chance. I didn't hate the third movie... didn't enjoy it but it was just there.
