Graad heard the call for help on the comm frequency. Usually he'd ignore it and keep going with Strider, but the voice of the one calling was none other than [member="Eliza Steele"], the cyar'ika of Kad Tor. Of course Graad hadn't met her, her name had been the give away. Graad ran off to help, his jet pack was useful for getting him there quickly.

Upon arrival, Graad commed in.

"Graad Hokan, coming in from the north side, hot and loaded. We'll meet in the middle. Resistance is light here, I'll see if I can flank them."

He clicked off the comm, and pressed in. Firing two shots, Graad took out the two guards on the north side. He pressed forward knowing they'd be missed at their next check in. Hopefully it wasn't too soon. A short window might mean all the attention would be on him.

Malcom looked on with a bit of concern as Shae seemed to have taken a bit of a hit from the blast. He'd have to ask about it in a minute though. He had a different job to do while they ran back to him. Scanning the area through his scope, it all seemed clear for the time being. Fortunately he team made good time back to his position.

Giving Shae a questioning look that clearly said, "What's your status?" He was pleased to hear that she still seemed to be in almost optimal condition. "Good. Was starting to wonder if you two got a little over cooked in that one." He flashed them a smirk as he got another message from Captain Steel. "Copy that Captain. We'll see you in a few. And don't worry. I have a feeling you'll know when we arrive. Renolds out!"

Turning back to his crew, he gave a quick rundown. "Ok, new orders. As you probably heard, we are headed to the starport. We'll be attacking from the southwest as another group hits it from the southeast. Kenna, you're with me. Shae! Were you lying to me that first day we met when you said you had some tricks with fire up your sleave? Cuz if you weren't, I have a feeling I'm gunna need you to pull one of those tricks out. That work for you?" He'd wait just long enough to get her response and then move out, turning off his active camo to save power as well as make it easy for the others to follow.

"Urz! Haw! ...Hike! Advance scout!" Having had a bit of time to rest, the hound quickly wheeled left and then charged forward in the direction his master had ordered. The animals skin again changed color to blend in with the surroundings as it took point.

It wouldn't take the group long at all as the starport hadn't been all that far away. Malcom checked his chrono and smirked when his watch said 6 min and 10 seconds. He always did appreciate punctuality. Taking a look at the defenses on there particular section of the starport from their nice bit of cover after reactivating his active camo, he could see a couple machine gun nests on the outside of the facility as well as a few sniper perches. Not a terrible amount of defenses, but not exactly light either. In truth the hard part was more than likely going to be breaching the facility as they move through that kill tunnel of an entrance.

It was then another message came in from reinforcements convergin on the north. A dangerous smile appeared on his face. These bastards inside the starport were about to receive a Mando hello they'd never forget! "Copy that, Hokan. See you on the inside vod!"

Malcom quickly turned back toward his crew. "Kenna. I want you to ghost right. Urz will take the left flank and sweep around from there. I'll work on the snipers on the roof. Shae. I want you to work your magic on those machine gun nests in the center. Everyone got it!?"

[2/20]

With all taken place in the short amount of time. Keeping up the best she could to Draco, guessing that this was some kind of test or right. It wasn't everyday someone like her got to see these ones in action up close and personal. Nope she knew that for now that Draco was her keeper of sort. At less where it came to her being that big girl with relationship, as it seem she sucked in that department. Nope for now that would be a experience she would never forget any time soon.

Now came her skills with a sniper rifle one could say it look as if she had trained with a weapon like this all her life. In reality she had just not this upgraded weapon. It seem to have been something of a knack of hers. One thing she didn't care much for but it was still a fun time was getting to jump out of the plane. It seem that listen well to the one telling her do's and don'ts before jumping and pulling to land safely on her feet.

Not taking long for her and spotter to come to a nest only to hear over the commlink to be given to the yardage and wind if there any at the time the shot or shots ring out saving a couple of the mandolarians that was on the ground. That should count for something ri

Ready for the round, Draco

Not one to want to ask if she was doing good no she would wait to ask him that question after they was back on board, how she did with her skills. Knowing that it had been some while, but it wouldn't been for the hunts she would been way off, but then again.

The Captain wanted to see her fire skills? This she could do! Shae grinned wickedly as she shouldered her bow and began to rub her fingers together to begin generating heat, small little flames jumping from her finger tips.

"I've got more than a few trick up my sleeves, Captain, just let me know what you need," she replied, eager to let the wild out and have some fun. As they scoped out the defenses of the spaceport, she agreed that taking out the machine gun nests should be her main focus if she was going to be playing with fire. She nodded her understanding of his orders.

"For what I have in mind, my focus will be on my fire shaping, and since I am hard of hearing right now, I am vulnerable, so I will be trusting you both to protect me," she said seriously. "Once I take out the gun nests, I'll move on to create chaos amongst the locals. Coordinate with the others to stay clear of what I'm about to unleash; fire is not exactly a precise weapon."

With her explanation complete, Shae turned towards the spaceport, the fire growing in her hands with each step. Once she was clear of her teammates, she set herself on fire, letting the blaze grow with each step, her grin growing wider as her hair danced around with the flickering flames. From this blaze, a form began to appear. Shae moved her hands to shape the flame and move it out, separating it from herself. This shape took a step, then another, emerging in the form of a giant 9-tailed fox. It gave the appearance of looking around, and did it just snicker? Shae laughed maniacally as she raised her hands to guide her creation like some sort of demented conductor or puppet master, setting her 'pet' to attack the gun nest. The Firefox had no mass and caused no real damage with its mighty leap and pounce on the gun nest, but it immediately engulfed the tower in flames. Then chaos was unleashed with a mighty howl from the Firefox.

With little sister overlooking the target zone, the gunship carrying the rest of us flew towards the next zone where the paramilitary forces were congregating. Plain and simple we were going to overwhelm them with superior fire power and force. Nothing beat a good old fashion fire fight when it came to clearing opposition in large groups. Fire fights when done properly took place where even somewhat outnumbered a more experienced, more capable force could dominate their opposition. They were by nature short, deadly, and favored the more skillful side rather than the side with superior numbers. The pilot's voice came over the unit comm channel, "Ten seconds until we reach the engagement zone."

The seconds ticked by until the sound of projectiles hitting super sonic speed could be heard outside the hull as a pair of concussion missiles were accelerated towards the small cluster of buildings the paramilitary had gathered at. Mostly the missiles were for disrupting them and allowing us a clear landing zone for us to drop into. "Provide us some cover fire sis, we are coming in."

The circular opening in the center of the hold slid open, allowing us to drop through the hole without compromising the safety of the Orar'uliik's hull. Mandalorians began streaming into the sky, blaster bolts, miniature rockets, and slugs streaking from us at the enemy forces, pinning them behind the safety of cover and killing a few as we descended from the low altitude.

Hearing her Big bro over the commlink, coming over to her spotter. "Ya heard him find those butt munches, give me something to rain my fiery down upon." that truth be told she was wanting to give her trigger finger a little work out. Giving a smirking laughter from her own mouth. Sooner then she thought that tap happen on her shoulder and looked to where his finger was being pointed to.

Every muscle in her body now was working as one. As if the whole of her body never lost its touch. Now it time to get down to business, taking out those that would do harm to her big bro vod's. Even so her heart slowed down then to spend up. One by one she let go of the fire with in her sniper rifle silent but deadly.

First one made it mark only to cause there to be confused among those around him, as if not knowing where the ghost had set its nest up. As if she was the mother protecting her young. On her watch she be damn it that one would go down. As if the force itself was doing the thinking for her at this point not waiting for him to find her another target. Knowing the one that took the cover. Replacing the slug with something of more cured more deadly bullet. Letting it fire but also reaching out with her unseen force fingers to curve it to find the mark but not only the mark it self there was drain of life from this one hiding but something else happen there was a fire so great it look as if the sky had open up.

Big bro, I think that make them run like monkey lizard on ...

Before she even felt but reacted once again she had to swing her rifle to the other side to find something that she knew could only be out of dissertation of trying to find her. Shot going wildly above her and his head. Now with out even waiting coming once again from her she let fire loose this time she didn't stop. It had some of a beautify to it if one was into such wonder of war fair. Her breathing still as cool as if she was taking an afternoon nap.

Clear ..Clear..give them heck now ..

Kenna just nodded in response to her new orders. She didn't exactly have any new tricks up her sleeve just the things that were taught to her by the Captain. He knew all of her moves but he had never seen her in action and while Kenna didn't have the experience yet she could still get the job done. The team would get the job done together which was something she had been learning. Kenna didn't have to do anything alone even in her position.

"Got it," she nodded to Malcolm was they arrived at the Spaceport. She would be taking out anything and everything to the right of them as well as providing support when needed. "I have your back Shae don't worry. If it wasn't for you, I would have some three degree burns right about now." Malcolm may be her master but that didn't mean he was the only one she would protect. It just meant his was the only laundry that she would do. "I'll cover you and make sure nobody creeps up on us from the right."

As Shae unleashed her fire power onto the gun nest Kenna found herself being very happy that she was on their side. The fire that she had made took the shape of a cute little fox well a cute little fox that was about to engulf the gun nest. Pulling her gaze away from the fire she took aim with the rifle at the men trying to escape the blaze and chaos.

She had been taught to be patient when shooting but that had been when hunting to get a good kill shot. These men were lucky that she had been target practicing as of recent and was a pretty good shot. Lining up the first shot she got him in the chest and watched as he fell before lining up that second shot which grazed the shoulder and as such she took another to his head. Two down and still they were coming kind of like cockroaches.

With the enemy forces still in a panic from the concussion missiles that we had fired into their midst, and with Seanna providing sniper cover, and making it seem as though she was changing her position often and swiftly by using the Force to alter the trajectory of her rounds, she was able to hit many more opponents than normal. This combined with the oppressive firepower being unleashed at them from the Mandalorians dropping to the ground and the Orar'Uliik gunships hovering in the air sent many of the paramilitary running for their lives. The barely trained peace-keepers were no match for the veteran warriors of Mandalore.

Reaching out with the Force I sought for the minds of these men, breaking their wills, even if it was only a handful of them. Rapidly I invaded their minds, filling them with dread, tearing at what little willpower remained until I could enforce my own will over theirs. With a thought the few men I was bending to my will turned their weapons on their allies, causing even more havoc and destruction among the paramilitary. It would all be over soon.

The strategy devised by Vilaz was effective and efficient. It was unwise by the enemy to leave the buildings unoccupied except the roofs which were being used by snipers. Sadly, there were still casualties coming from almost every squad that belonged to Vilaz's unit whether it was from sniper fire, jet fuel ran out and fell to the earth, or some lucky soldier got a direct hit on a Mandalorian. It'd be fortunate if these casualties never happened, but that was just the wishes of men that didn't relate with reality. All they could do was just move forward and not look back.

It wasn't long enough until they were mere meters away from the Capitol Building. Every squad, if not most shoud be close to the rendezvous and ready to fly in and make their entrance on one of the floors, but not the first floor. That would be pack with all kinds of soldiers, weapons, and defenses. "We're almost there, y'all! Find a building close to the Capitol, take a brief rest, and prepare yourselves for the final stage." They needed a break just to muster every last ounce of strength and reload their armaments before infiltrating the Capitol. It wouldn't be five minutes but one or two minutes and after their hiatus they would, again, fly off to the last building of the day. It was time to use everything that they got.

With the arrival of the Renold's fire team and apparently a bonus play with Hokan's surprise back door approach, the siege on the main spaceport terminal commenced. Eliza would have to buy [member="Kad Tor"]'s brother-in-law a drink for his help when things were all over with along with the others mounting the offensive move.

While the petite smuggler didn't want to unnecessarily damage the spaceport, she'd do what was called for to get to her ship. Leebu so far was keeping the scum bags off the YT-1930 Light Freighter with the "Ground Buzzer" surface-defense blaster cannon. The quirky droid was probably loving it too being all badass in his electronic brain.

While the others distracted the main group of resistance fighters, Eliza and Rahly made their way in closer. Using a ribbon charge, the two from the Dawn blew a side door, then threw in some flash bangs and entered with a charge of their own into a service area taking out those that were in sight and making it onto Concourse A.

Graad pressed past the northern concourse with little resistance. He moved quiet, and as fast as he could without drawing attention to him. Finally he arrived to where the ship was. He was about 100 meters from the ship and watched as the resistance was being held off, but getting close to blast the ship in order to deal with the droid holding them at bay. Graad laughed at the sight and pulled out his rifle

Looking through the scope, Graad took out the two which carried the charges. Two rounds, two kill shots. The Mando'ad was not one to waste his shots. He continued to fire, drawing attention away from the ship to a live target. Hopefully back up would come soon because Graad wasn't going to be able to hold them all off for too long. The sound of a ribbon charge gave him hope.

Gazing through his scope. He began to pick off the snipers off the roof line as they gawked and stared and Shae gettin' her flame on. He even had to pause at the awesome pyrotechnic display. Tilting his head, he pondered, "Is that a huge fiery fluffy fox...!? How cute...in a death dealing inferno sort of way..." Refocusing on the business at hand, He dealt out his own measure of death as people attempted to flee the raging blaze engulfing the area.

As the main assault push came and went, Malcom quickly issued a few commands to Urz to clean out the last straggler or two. Pulling up his comm, he called out to his team. "Kenna, Shae. Push up! Time to knock in the front door." It sounded like the fighting had already managed to make it to the interior of the port. Now it was there turn to put pressure on this flank. Stepping out from his cover, he charged forward in a half crouched posture toward the breach that was just cleared by the team.

And so there was fighting, explosions and a good deal of death! In other words, the usual for Elpsis really when she was not getting drunk in a seedy bar or something like that. Anyhow, admittedly she was a terribly late entrant into this dominion, but presumably she had her reasons.

Mandalorians had descended upon the planet and were now conquering it with fire and steel. The fiery redhead had no real problem with that. Presumably she had been hired to help kill things that needed killing. Blasterfire streaked through the air, explosions echoed across the city blocks and the thunder of artillery strikes was heard. Blazing jets of flame leapt from Elpsis' hands and swept through the air towards resistance fighters as she left cover. A blaster bolt made polite conversation with her her but through her power, though it was quite a strain on her, she managed to absorb the heat, letting it fuel her. Cries of wounded were heard when they were ignited by fire. Those who survived were cut down by Mandalorian warriors or by her own blade and blaster.

[3/20]
...the Kandosii-type Dreadnought came out of hyperspace in orbit around Ord Radama. At the helm Garrus Garon sat comfortably in the command seat while a bridge full of nautical officers surrounded him directing everything from communications to weapons control to propulsion systems. Within moments of arriving Garrus was apprised of the situation occurring on the surface of Ord Radama and that his brother, Strider, had essentially ordered the deaths of every man of fighting age. As he reclined back in the command chair Garrus shook his head once, he'd launched weapons of mass destruction against enemies and killed thousands but to order the death of every fighting man was beyond even the scope of what he did. Genocide did not sit idly well with the Warrior despite his loyalties to Clan Garon and his brother. Looking at a holofeed he would steeple his fingers in his lap while resting his elbows to either side of his chair...

...an Officer approached Garrus, handed him an updated report and then melted back into the background. The Warrior scanned the report, an estimate of those who had been killed during this military operation. Casualties of war. Nodding his head once Garrus set the report aside before announcing to his crew...
"We're here as observers only. It's clear my brother has everything well in hand which means our involvement need only be minimal and to offer support and medical attention to our own forces should they be required."...everything that Garrus knew told him that rebels of this world had no chance or a slim one at the best however he couldn't help but wonder at the impact this would have on the future for Clan Garon. Were they to be known as the masters of atrocities now? The thought did not sit well with the Mandalorian Field Marshal...

...tapping his hand against the arm of his chair Garrus steepled his hands in his lap again and turned away from the holofeeds while continuing to recline back into his chair. Idly his thoughts went to the simple life of farming once again and how at home it made him feel to be dressed in a tunic and comfortable clothes rather than the Beskar'gam he wore here. Once his thoughts came back to the present Garrus took a flask from his utility belt, unscrewed the cap and placed it to his lips before taking a pull of the liquid inside which burned all the way down.
"Ahhhhh."...the exhale of his breath passed from between rough lips, the scent of liquor holding just barely in the area around him as he continued to rest backwards and then his mind wandered in reverie again...

In the Darkness there is Truth
(3/20)

Capital under strong bombardment and plenty of devastation? Check. Mandalorians putting anyone silly enough to get in their way to the sword? Check. Misc. Resistance members who could not leave well enough alone and comprehend their place in things? Check.

Time for some space magic voodoo. From afar a mortar crew was raining down shells upon advancing Mandalorian soldiers, trying to pin them down. Boom. A loud explosion echoed across the city block as the volley hit home, throwing up earth and dust and probably claiming a few lives. It would be the last attack the mortar crew got to make, alas.

Ripples were felt resonating through the Force as Sumiko dropped the cloak of shadows that had kept her obscured and invisible. Wielding a lightsabre that glowed a bright crimson she charged the surprised soldiers, having seemingly appeared out of nowhere close to them. Now she was charging like a lunatic banshee. "What the feth? Shoot her!" Their Sergeant bellowed in the timeless tradition of Sergeants regardless of era, nation or army.

One soldier got his arm chopped off, another was tossed through the air through an invisible power. But blaster bolts stopped Sumiko dead in her track and she fell to the ground, seemingly dead. Then suddenly the body dissipated, vanishing into thin air. Before the soldiers had time to process this, an unnatural, malicious power slammed into their minds. They were only common soldiers, not trained to resist mentalism, mind rape and the like...and their minds held nothing of value worth preserving. Mostly mentalism was a subtle art, but there was a time and place to use it as a hammer.

Soon soldier after soldier was lying on the ground, shaking and spasming as their minds were reduced to paste. Some tried to crawl away, others fired blindly as the witch forced their way into their minds. It did not take long to fry the synapis of one soldier, then the next and the next. Brain overload was a thing. The cloak fell and the real Sumiko emerged, wielding Souldrinker. One last soldier was still alive, trying to grip his pistol. Alas, for him, she simply deflected his rounds and then sliced his head off.

As resistance members ran out of the flames Kenna would take aim and fire. This was really great target practice for her as well as practical experience. She was keeping her team safe from any danger that may be lurking on the right side.

There was a rush at first but than it calmed down to where nobody was coming out or one on fire already every few minutes. It was, as Malcolm had stated, was time to move forward and inside.

Stepping out from her position Kenna began to follow him. This was her first mission out and about and she was quite proud of herself. There was only one mishap but it hadn't gone terribly. The crew was all in one piece and they were making good progress and taking out lot of bad guys.

Levy was moving and they had the Dela in cover now, herself on the main cannon firing as some people were coming and she was glad they didn't think anyone was in the turret. This cloak helped greatly before she was moving out of it and running along the roof to tackle one of them and rolled with him dropping her deathstick. "You are going to pay for that kid." She looked at him as he was taller then her but Levy moved kicking his knee before he fell screaming and her kee went up into his knose. One hand going into her belt as she withdrew a large cigar putting it in her mouth and speaking as she lit it. "Not bad for your first encounter with a mandalorian huh?"

"Do you ever feel like.."

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever feel like if we focused on things other than loot we could really accomplish things?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well.. I just feel like we run around a lot and get a lot done compared to most of our vod."

"I guess."

"Especially those who are meant to be leaders."

"Oh?"

"Well, the Hound does a lot, but he's got so many bastards I don't think even he knows how many he has, so he's often busy with family things, and I don't blame him for that. The man's time is literally nothing but leading the Ori-ramikad, being about as Mando as possible and family."

"Which is as Mando as possible."

"Yeah and then.. Who else are our leaders? I guess.. The Mand'alor and then the folk who run the Protectors."

"Ayuh, sound about right."

"How often do you see them around? They pop up when we start a campaign, make a rousing speech and theeen.."

"Ayuh. Leave us to do the fighting and actually get things done. Could spend a bit more time takin' the newer vod into the field too. Strider's bled with me. Other than you lot can't say the same for anyone else really."

"I'm just saying, if we weren't treasure hunting all the time.."

"Ha! Y'wanna be Mand'alor?"

"Not me.."

"Pfffft, I ain't doing it. I'm not commanding anyone I can't trust to have my back. I trust you lot."

"Aww, thanks La."

"Yer, now shutup and help me lever this up, we ought to be at about the right bit."

"...is that a lightsaber? It's warped all t'hell."

"Well it did get a ship dropped on it, grab it, the crystals likely still good. See what else there is."

"This batch of dust is likely dead dude."

"Could be worse, could be goopy."

"True. Here, what's this?"

"A.. weird.. geometric thingy. I dunno, gives me the willies though and it was tough enough to survive a ship dropped on it, take it."

"I don't like it."

"Ayuh, likely some bad force hoodoo. So! Worth a fair chunk. Lets get up above then."

"Wait so who am I going to be washing off my gloves anyway?

"Darth Venemal."

"Huh. Gross."

Shae pressed the advance into the spaceport, ushered in by her magnificent Firefox. It had shrunk in size somewhat, but was no less ferocious as she commanded it to flush out and chase down the soldiers trying to hold the building against the Mandalorian assault. The cries of her burning victims were like music to her muted ears, and she wore a grin that showed her delight.

To get a better vantage point, she leapt atop a communication kiosk in the concourse and continued to direct her Firefox. She wasn't so much going for rampant property damage as she was trying to chase down the soldiers that needed to be put down, but fire was fire and once it had ignited something flammable and was no longer under her control, then she gauged it to be too much of a risk to continue this way. Before the fire could rage completely out of control, she dispersed her Firefox then reached out through the Force to the fires blazing on the concourse. The spaceport's fire suppression system was kicking on and putting some of the fires out, but there were still some blazes that required assistance. She closed her eyes to focus and held out her hand; she saw the fire and began to exert her will, forcing the flames down and to burn hotter to consume its fuel faster so it would simply die out.

But in her distraction, she had no way of noticing the sniper that had her in his scope. He wasn't a very good sniper or he would have aimed for the head, which was exposed so the blaster shot would have surely killed her instantly. Instead he aimed for center mass, knocking the Ruferalahuin woman from her perch atop the communication kiosk. She fell to the ground hard, knocking the air from her lungs, but thankfully the armorweave suit she wore had protected her from the shot. But because her suit was so old and worn out, the powerful blaster fire had ruined the point of impact on the front of her suit, though at least it had served its purpose and saved her life; she could always get another suit...

[13/20]

The Squad eventually made it back topside, it was much quicker than working their way down had been since they just back tracked their previously cleared path. There were a few more droids, again, basically nothing to be concerned about. Most of the action had been over in the capital, but there was of course some in Livien Magnus as well. It looked for the most part like it was winding down though. The sound of weaponry was few and far between, and there was less evidence of fighting in the streets.

"Well."

"Looks like this is pretty well done."

"Good job Squad."

"We didn't really help."

"Meh. Our presence was inspiring and or demotivating depending on what side of the fight you were on. That's good enough. Besides, we brought back the bloody Gorgorror, and no ones even acted impressed with us, feth 'em."

"Yeah I gotta say, I kinda thought bringing back a ship eating ship with an actual ghost on it would get me a little more..."

"Women?"

"Respect, but women too."

"Mostly women."

"Might be."

"Let's go home shall we?"

"Ayuh."

And so with unsalvageable lightsaber, taken for it's useful crystal, and what was actually a rather good holocron if anyone in Buruk Squad knew what such a thing was and how to use one, Buruk Squad signalled their corvette and karked off, content in another job well done.
