[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen stumbles back and his eyes widen as he sees Laph's sideways attack. He manages to regain his balance and raises his left hand to push Laph's blade away. His connection with the Force falters and he is forced to duck down beneath the saber at the last second. Breathing heavily, Jacen skips backward and tries to get ahold of himself.

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi walks around for a little bit, introducing herself to some of the crew until she found the chief engineer, Gaff Navarr.

"Chief Engineer?! Just who I was looking for!" Bambi chuckles excitedly.

"Looking for me, eh?" Gaff cocked their head to the side.

"The Captain and I have a little, project, let's call it. C'mon, I'll show you my ship before I tell you the details." Bambi and Gaff walk around the Agenda and she points out her Firespray. "Okay, so, here's the deal."

 

[Laphisto]

putting on an aggressive stance he would quickly move in for a counterattack. taking a step forwards gaining ground" come now boy, don't let me gain footing. the moment you back up to much is the moment you are pushed into a corner. take control of the environment around you." slashing his blade in a towards diagonal swing he would prepare a counter-attack. pulling one hand from his blade and aiming to strike him with the back of his hand once again

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen grits his teeth and grips his saber tightly and moves to leap up above Laph's attacks. Both Laphisto's saber and hand graze Jacen's face as he leaps up in the air and brings his saber down toward Laph.

 

[Laphisto]

perking his lone ar he would try and follow Jacen quickly moving to try and block the sudden attack. with a soft grunt, his blade would make contact with Jacens, the moment on the other hand would bring his own blade down to the ground. with a perk of his ear, he would lean forwards quickly aiming to head-butt his student " by the gods, now that's impressive!"

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen lands on his feet as Laph swings his blade down and he steps back from his Master's headbutt. He deactivates his saber and switches the setting on his weapon as he takes aim and fires three Disabler Bolts at Laph.

 

[Laphisto]

with a light grunt, he would quickly move to deflect the bolts. he would catch the first one though missing the last two as they struck against his beskar. with a soft grunt, he would charge Jacen swinging low

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen switches the setting of his Blastersaber back to the stun-blade and attempts to cartwheel over the low swing. He sloppily moves over Laph's attack and fails to activate his weapon as he swings it. He skips backward and finally ignites his saber as he keeps his eyes focused on Laphisto.

 

[Laphisto]

rushing himself forwards he would move in for a horizontal slash only to pull back midswing and instead move upwards into a diagnal attack, pulling off a fient attack. albiet sloppy as his grip wasn't the best

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen holds his ground blocks Laph's saber with his own. He attempts to Force Push his Master but fails and he pulls his blade away from their clash.

 

[Laphisto]

"getting better my boy, but if only you were good enough to save your family" moving to try and hit a soft spot he would follow it up with a horizontal slash

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen takes a heavy footstep forward and slashes his saber upward in an attempt to block. The sabers collide and Jacen is pushed backward, smacking himself in the head with his own stun-blade.

 

[Laphisto]

perking his lone ear he would give a small chuckle content and satisfied with his reactions to his words. " you did well seems you have great control over your emotions, my boy"

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen nods his head and chuckles, “I don’t know if I’m controlling them better but I’m using my emotions to strengthen my swings and defenses. That Holocron taught me to do so.”

 

[Laphisto]

"well your not giving into your emotions and attacking blindly. i think this lesson done for now, lets see if Bambietta Scifer needs our help with her ship"

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen deactivates his saber and takes a few deep breaths before stretching. "Alright. Sounds good to me." He chuckles

 

[Laphisto]

"hopefully we can get her ship on board. perhaps then we can get Tilly 's attached somehow as well"

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi heads back toward Jacen and Laphisto after they had finished their sparring match. She had worked hard and brainstormed some crazy ideas with the Chief Engineer as they had tried to attach her Firespray to the Conquest's Agenda. She claps her hands together slowly and looks to her Captain, "We managed to attach my ship to yours but it's not gonna hold up in hyperspace. It was worth a shot though."

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen nods his head and looks at Bambi, "Any chance we could try and connect them again? Or is it absolutely failed?"

 

[Laphisto]

"that is quite unfortunate. if you want lass, we could give you the coordinates of Aurora Station and we can eventually meet back there?.that is if you really would prefer keeping your ship" he would cross his arms over his chest gripping his chin in thought
