Akaran Goddess
Distance between peoples could do a great many things, the distance, both literally and figuratively, could be bridged however.
Over the time of her secretive retreat, Kimiko had learned a meditative technique to do just that from her allied mystics on her newfound home world...
...if there was anytime, now was the time to use it.
The anarchy around her was being tuned out with extreme effort, and assistance from a certain ally as they sat together in the upper levels of the temple. Her kinswoman was putting up a strong barrier for protection, and giving off a focusing aura for Kimiko. A soft murmur of names and thoughts escaped said person's mouth as she attempted to connect with someone, anyone she knew off-world to give some forewarning.
"Bryce...Nate...Joza..." one by one the names flowed like a river, seemingly not able to fulfill the literal connection.
"Sanya..." the name was spoken barely audible above their breathing, and in an instant, said connection seemingly found its mark...reaching out to the recipient like the faintest of whispers in the wind...
