VISIONS OF THE PAST (Leori)

"Ha ha very funny." He calls out. Inwardly, he was a tad embarrassed. How could he forget that he had a woman onboard. He goes into the bathroom and quickly showers. He changes into some clean clothes.

By the time, Hawk got finished Leori had food on the table. He goes to the galley with his hair still damp from the shower. "Thanks for cooking. It smells great." He takes a seat at the table.

"Enjoy it. Then we will rest until morning so we can get a full day of light," Leori said.

After a night of meditation and rest, the Jedi Master felt prepared for whatever the Force would throw at her that day. That wasn't to say that she was prepared for anything, just mentally prepared. She was calm.

So, she went ahead and made breakfast while she waited for Hawk to stir.

Hawk woke in his own bunk after a great night sleep. No dreams or visions. Just sleep. He get dressed and heads to the galley. It smelled liked Leori made breakfast. He could get use to it. Leori's husband was a lucky man.

"Morning." He says. He pours himself a cup of cafe. He fixes himself a plate of food. "Today we go and explore the cave. I have the feeling that we are going to get lucky today.

In the distance, another ship lands on Dagobah. The lone man in the ship was also searching for the amulet.

Funny enough, her husband didn't really give her the opportunity to cook or prepare food. He was normally on top of that, or had others doing it for them. Leori offered a smile when he entered the galley. "Morning," she replied.

Lucky? Tish tosh. There was no luck involved. "Let's see if the Force is rewarding us or trying us today."

"Let's hope that the force is with us today." He quickly finishes his breakfast. He was anxious to get going. He places his dirty dishes in the sink. "Theses can wait. Let's get going. We are burning daylight"

He heads to the ramp.

The ship lands near the cave. The man wearing dark brown Jedi cloak descend down the ramp. He pulls down the hood to reveal Nathan Solo. He went by the name Nate now, He flexes his gloved hands. He was still getting used to the new hands.

Leori chuckled. "Yes, the dishes can wait." She followed him to the ramp. He was very eager to get moving, which was amusing to her. She supposed she would be eager if she was the one having visions that were mysterious. But she was more cautious. And she would keep her wits about her, and her senses sharp. One never knew what the Force had in store for the day...

Hawk walks ahead of her. Very thing around him was familar even though he never set foot on the planet. It was like the amulet was calling to him. They walked though the swamp mud. "Watch that snake." He tells Leori. He walks around it. "This place is crawling with snakes and lizard. A real vacation spot."

The cave

Nate grins. The cave was before him. He knew that amulet was here. He had to get it before anyone else did. The amulet was evil. It needed to be destroyed.

Leori laughed "Well, you sure know how to please a lady with all this filth and fauna and angry animals." She followed him through the swamp, being cautious of the snakes and lizards and such. "Perhaps you should consider a vacation at the end of the journey, Hawk." It seemed to her that his brain could use the rest.

"Yeah I would love a vacation. Take a real family vacation with Maddie. Maybe take her Spira for the beaches. No more camping after this mission. Atleast not for awhile. Done with mud and wild life." He cuts off a large hanging leaf out of their way. "We should be there soon."

Nate removes his weapons and lays them on the ground. The cave was filled with dark side. He slowly descend into the cave.

"Spira eh? I don't know if that's appropriate. However, it's not like you're taking her to Zeltros." She had to chuckle then. She recalled how resistant she'd been upon arriving there and being invaded by the pheromones. Eventually, she gave up trying to fight them off and went with it. Well, that produced interesting results....

The chat was more to pass the time as they moved through the wooded areas in search of a cave. Strange that she didn't feel the presence of the man they'd left behind on a dusty planet though... That would certainly be an unwelcome surprise...

"No. I won't be taking her to Zeltros unless it to meet Leilani's family." From what he gathered that could be a little awhile before that happens."

They came across a clearing in the Jungle with a small ship in the center. "Company," he whispers to Leori. He reaches out to force to try and sense anyone nearby. He was having a hard time telling the difference with some many different lifeforms nearby.

"A wise decision." She paused for a moment. That happened a lot. Ever since joining parenthood, she'd been out of touch with everyone. So, she had no idea who Leilani was. And she immediately felt horrible about it. The Jedi couldn't even speculate on his relationship with her. "Um. I feel awful right now. Remind me who Leilani is?"

Ugh, she felt incredibly old just then. The years had been kind to her, even though she was absolutely atrocious at taking care of herself. It was a wonder she was still alive. Without a doubt, if it weren't for the Force she'd have been dead before turning a quarter of a century old. As she continued to walk, and avoid eye contact, she considered the possibility that her senses were weakening with age. Or perhaps there was something wrong with her. She made a mental note to get her head examined at a later time, when surrounded by useful technology.

Hawk smirks. "She is my girlfriend." He tell Leori. He didn't expect her to remember that. He sometimes forget that Leori is married. There was a time when he had a small crush on her. She probably wasn't aware of it,

He eyes the ship. "Looks like a one man ship. Doesn't look like it crashed." He kneels down in the dirt. "Whoever it is..went off in the direction of the amulet."

Nate entered the darkside cave. It was cold in the force. There in alcove it was the object he had been seeking. He had heard of the amulet through whispers. Now to finally find it. It was amazing. He calls it to him. The amulet flies through the force to him. It lands in his hand.

Leori smiled. She was pleased that he was happy, as she was well aware of his feelings toward her. He hadn't hidden them and she wasn't totally oblivious.

Her smile faded when her eyes fell on a ship. That was the end of the good feelings. She grabbed his shoulder. "Tell me about your vision one more time." It seemed the future might be the present now.

"My vision was this place. Minus the ship here. Something isn't right." He couldn't put his finger on it. "I saw tree cave.,." He was saying as he caught glimpse of movement in the jungle.

Nate tucked the amulet in his suit before going up topside. A man's voice carried through the wind. It sounded like Hawk. Nate taps into the force. Yes it was him.

Leori narrowed her eyes. She thought so. "Yeah, I didn't think so either. Perhaps your vision wasn't of the past but the future..."

There would be time for analysis later. She suspected they'd have their hands full momentarily.

"Possible....we are not alone." He cocks his head. "It's Nate." He says in a low whispers.

Nate emerges from the jungle. "So we meet again." He says to Leori and Hawk. He was curious why the two of them were here.

Leori tilted her head trying to sense the presence that Hawk spoke of. He was correct, but she wasn't as familiar with his presence which explained how he recognized it first. Hairs stood on the back of her neck and her hand went to the small of her back as the presence grew closer.

"Fancy meeting you here, in the middle of nowhere..."

Nate grins. "I just thinking the same thing. Strange how small the galaxy seems at time. No hard feeling eh." He hadn't forgotten how things ended the last time. One doesn't forget losing both of his hands to his own son.

"Kids get home safe?" He inquires

Hawk frown slightly. ""Like you care ..what happen to those kids." Why was Nate there? Could he be after the same thing?
