And Marek liked droids. Why did… Monitor need to feel so odd to him? He wasn’t really a fan of that, and he even had his own units flanking him. Basically, that was his backup, if something got too close, those units were there to back him up. “Y’know there are droids dat go crazy after some time, yeah?”
Still, no time to do anything about that now. He had his orders, sort of. Right, the lab, that made sense. What he really needed right now was Sindy, her with her machine talking powers. That would clear this droid issue right up, after all. “Got it, sir.” Apparently these military operations were starting to show him how to at least act in a field.
Nodding to the two droids that flanked him, a silent signal for ‘stay close,’ Marek pulled out his Czerka slugthrower, time to move, right? Staying back from the group, so he could watch and fire when needed, it was not the situation he was expecting. Taking a few shots and quickly throwing the slugs at some of the snake things, he took a step back before letting the pistol fall, the retracting cord securing it at his holster. Lightsaber in hand, the orange blade hummed to life as he took controlled swings at anything coming near him.
“I recommend we go somewhere else, Marshal?”
He stepped forward, to give his droids room to do their thing, and to make sure the Apprentice was fine. Sure, she wasn’t his apprentice, but a Templar just the same, after all. Had to stick together, right?
