Young Saera felt the worm-like creature be pulled from her, its wriggly scaly body loosened from its grip. She looked up, only to see the one known as Krest come to reach for her hand. Just as soon as he had caught it, he tugged her with them through the halls. She was still shaken up and a little frightened, but for the most part her faculties were all intact. Finally, they entered a room with only one doorway for the odd creatures to get in.
"I-I..." she mumbled, feeling at a loss, failing at her objective to prove she was capable of anything on her own.
The rest of the team began to stack in. Saera carefully swatted away anything that wasn't human that crawled through the doorframe with her huge saber tessen, cutting them by the bulks.
"What now...?" the girl reluctantly asked.
Even a wall of death could be overtaken by an ocean of beasts.

Krest's group

"Right," hearing what Krest told the the squad Canal threw a detonator at the snakes and ran after Krest. Shortly after he threw the detonator Canal heard the explosion and was sure he killed a number of the snake like creatures. Then he saw a room that Krest was talking about.

He got inside of the room and said to Krest, "Let's close the doors," and looked back outside of the room and raised the assault rifle in his hand and aimed in case the serpents would follow them and get inside of their safe haven.

Krest's Gorup

Krest nodded to @[member="CC-117 Canal"], already working on closing the door. Without power the door just hung loosely, unable to close. But Krest fixed that by reaching out with the Force, slamming it shut. A couple of the serpents found themselves unfortunately caught, but the Zabrak doubted anyone felt bad. He turned to the fallen clone Kage, hefting him up.

"You got a way for us to get out of here?" He hands the clone back his datapad. On the run back he saw it and brought it with them. Can't have the slicer missing his tools.

Kage sat up slowly, rubbing his head. Man did he have a headache. Stupid snakes, he was already having enough. He gratefully took his datapad back, already scanning through it's screen.

"Scans show that there's a backdoor here. No snakes on the outside, and what seems to be a straight shot to our goal." The clone kept his eyes on the pad, then he slowly stood up, still a bit wobbly from the concussion. "At least, no snakes yet. They're moving in the walls again."

The world ceased to spin precisely as he came within sight of the doorway @[member="Krest"] and his merry band had gone through. It promptly closed in his face. It immediately reminded him why he had spent the better part of 800 years with only a homicidal A.I as a companion- at least she had an off switch.

"Keep focused on the grotesque task at hand." He thought and rolled onto his lower back and his free hand and them sprung up and onto his feet just as the monster bore down upon him. The wound it had sustained was having the desired effect, its lunges were shorter and each came with a grunt of pain and a gout of purple blood that slathered upon the floor more akin to slime. Norongachi let his feet form his defence, a half turn here, a side step there, the dark armoured feet danced his body through the woefully predictable but ultimately deadly attacks. He needed a clear opening, one that could end it in a stroke. The corridor was only growing shorter and soon he would have his back against the wall with 500lbs of death blocking his escape.

The tail strike came, he had been waiting for it. It was thick, muscled and scaled just like the rest of the monster but no where near as dexterous. He used that to his advantage, rushing in to meet it he dropped to his knees. The Master wrenched his head and upper body backward toward his heels, the appendage skimming inches from the t-shaped visor of his helm. An arcing cut took the beasts ankles and feet. Norongachi corrected his posture, turned with the momentum of the blade swing and plunged the brilliant green blade into the throat of his falling foe. Death spasms took it, the last vestiges of strength conveyed in twitching muscle as it fought to hold its mortal coil, then it was still.

The ebon swordsman retracted his weapon and let its viridian fire die. He breathed deep, felt the sweat trickle between his shoulder blades and stick the thin body glove beneath his armour to his skin. He hadn't had a battle in nearly a millennia, he had forgotten that being battle ready did not always mean being battle tested.

An armoured boot trod upon the chest of the mighty demon and he stepped over it, moving back toward the door he had seen the others take. With any luck he would catch up to them.

The darkness consumed the figure of the durasteel-clad warrior. A crimson light illuminated the area in spastic strobes of red as he encountered the threat the others had faced prior. There was no use in understanding the enemy here when they relied on the black abyss as a means to hide and lash out, slithering with a grotesque slime. Their numbers continued to amass as they inched toward Zius, intent on consuming his form with a multitude of each other constricting his movments. It wasn't any use to stand and make a mess of the area he stood in, so he made the decision to bolt towards the others; taking the path that would lead to Calico.

As he would arrive, the very plating which decorated his body would be spattered and dripping with the lifeblood of the slain monstrosities that seemed to have appeared out of thin air. One of their decapitated, long bodies hung from his left shoulder and then promptly flopped to the floor with a sickening splat.

"That was rather disgusting."

Coated in the guts of the foreign creatures, he'd reek of bile and excrement of who-knows what; although, it wasn't the first time he had been coated with a thick layer of something else's body fluids. But it would seem the pursuit of the snake-esque abominations hadn't ceased. They followed him through, a couple of them, and this somewhat irritated the Templar; as a response, he merely turned and held out his left gauntlet, focusing on their bodies with his TK in an attempt to crush them with a nasty display of exploding flesh. The walls adjacent to one another were suddenly painted with a shade of purple, their blood displaying an obscure art for all to see.

Team Calico

She could only nod and smile as he told her there was no room for her in his suit. Keziah was also quite happy that he did not understand her meaning when it came to the bath. It made it a whole lot less embarrassing for her and probably better that way.

"Darn," she grinned. Clipping her lightsaber back on her belt and grabbing her rebreather. Keziah wasn't going to exactly ask him about that. She was a good swimmer the problem was well they didn't know what was in the water. The video of monsters kept playing in her head but she decided to keep that to herself.

"Sounds like a blast. I wish the swim was on a beach somewhere but I'll take what I can get." The way he talked about what they were going to be doing made it sound as if it would be a cake walk.. Hopefully he was right.

After what Canal heard from Kage he looked at the walls again. The plan seemed like a benefit but at the same time it gave itself a negative view. "All right, if we're going to do this then we have to do it fast. Cause we'll be overwhelmed by those things. Can you walk, Kage? Cause you took a nasty blow to the head." He unloaded his assault rifle and reloaded it with another clip of Basic slugs. He waited for Krest's signal to move.

Katrina had gotten lost in the facility however what was her own fault. The empath had wandered away from the group in order to investigate something that she felt. It seemed like it was a good idea at first however now that she was actually doing it Katrina was finding that it was a really bad idea. She ought have tried to stay with the group than look for sea monsters. It was just she had never seen one before and the chance to perhaps connect with one was something that the master could not pass up. That again was probably a really bad idea but the scientist in her couldn't help it.

Water up to her knees now Kat walked though the facility in hopes of hooking up with someone from the group. She was alright with being alone mostly but this was just a little uncomfortable for her as the water socked walls seemed to speak to her. It was as if the sea creatures were in the wall or something which she knew couldn't possibly be true however that is what it seemed to her.

Taking a deep breath she continued plopping down the hallway with her lightsaber in her hands just incase of an attack. The master had been though a lot throughout her life but this was something else indeed.

Kage nodded to @[member="Canal Tal'Verda"], standing slowly. They were close to their goal, so he would keep pushing forward, that much was for sure. He looked around the room, already reloading his pistol. They were going to have to move here in a bit, so best to be prepped.

"Hallways mostly clear ahead. Should be easy enough to get through."

"It will be now.." Came Norongachi's voice as he appeared in the doorway his helm held in one hand while the other swept up and smeared a fresh trail of crimson from his forehead. He spat a mouthful of blood back into the corridor and finally slipped his dark helmet back over his battered face. "I'll take rear guard," He said eyeing the darkness of the corridor with warranted suspicion. "Well? Whenever you're ready gents."

"Do I even want to know what happened?" Sophia looked over her shoulder to [member="Salem Norongachi"] whom was covered in blood or well at least his forehead was smeared in it. The young woman had yet to come across a sea monster herself but she was sure that would soon change.

Nodding in reply she turned back around and began tromping through the water again which was up to her ankles. In her hand she held her Lightsaber which was currently not ignited as she walked though the darkness. The less attention they could draw to themselves the better. She couldn't hear anything as they walked but that didn't mean something wasn't there. In truth the silence scared her even more.

"Give a man the ability to play god and he will." It was all he managed to say as the corridor shook, clouds of dust set to fall by the violent vibrations that forced him off balance and out of the open doorway. A second tremor hit their section of the facility and this time with more effect. Heavy slabs of duracrete and supports began to rain down, quickly filling the corridor with debris and rubble.

"Move! MOVE!" He yelled to Sophia as errant chunks of stone pinged off his armour plates while his boots beat a path away from the cave in, further up the corridor.

This planet... it was odd. Earie and yet familiar. All that water reminded her of Kamino... of her true home... Anastasia most likely shouldn't have been here. She was just an Apprentice...again. Adults probably should have been left to play this game but she had heard what the falicity had been in charge of. Research on aging of clones. She shouldn't have known, but she did. She should have believed she was a normal teenager of two parents but Anastasia Verd knew better. She knew this was of too great interest of her too pass out on.

Dressed in black pants and shirt, there were parts of her mind that missed her suits. This was not what her mind, her memories knew, it was simple and ultimately unconforfortable. Someday soon, she would deal with this problem. For now, she checked her Ragnos lightsaber was in place as the elevator took her down. She probably should have stayed up on the ship. Probably. But she couldn't...

The lift had arrived to the floor, the doors had began opening when she felt the small space shake. Rising her hand, she reached to the metal wall for balance before she realized the doors had opened only half way. Great, the female muttered and moved towards it, turning to her side as she squeezed through. Just as she had completely come through, it close abrupty, causing her to double step forward. The smell of the place hit her without so much of a warning, a frown forming on her face, her palm coming over her nose. Dark brown gaze moved quickly through the darkness. It took her a few but her Umbaran legacy kicked in, allowing her to slightly adjust to the darkness. The darkness began to gain shapes though she couldn't see completely. It was enough, allowing her to see the corridors that separated.

"Lights would be nice," she spoke outloud into the empty room before she following into one of the corridors.

As the facility began to crash down around them Sophia ran further down the corridor. She dare not look behind her as continued to run however she could hear the sounds of everything breaking and falling apart behind her. Sophia stopped for a moment as she heard a loud roar coming from behind but turned once again not really wanting to know what it was. She had a sick feeling in the pit that whatever made that noise was also destroying the building. She had been on many missions in her day but none quite like this.

Beginning to run again through the water which level was becoming higher and higher. Soon she would be swimming instead of running which she didn't mind as she was a rather good swimming. Scurrying down a hallway she stopped for another moment as she heard another loud roar.

Cyax Orbit

Despite the actions taking place on the surface of the world below, the Sith known only as Metus stood upon the bridge of an iconic Corvette. With his hands clasped behind his back, perpetual patience ruled the masked warrior as the line of communication began to be established. The one he called was of quite some distance away, but nonetheless was a contact of...potential value. His eyes, ever-stained orange by the presence of the Dark Side, looked on from behind a simple facade wrought of durasteel. Then, at long last, the connection was established and on the other end, Metus' form manifested as a hazy hologram. "Greeting Vulcanus. It has been quite some time since time of the Sith Empire..." he began, utilizing projective telepathy to speak as opposed to his own voice. To those standing about the bridge with him, Metus was completely silent; and his telepathic voice could only be perceived by the Graug on the other end of the line.

"You may not remember me, but that is perfectly fine...But I once went by the name Dar'jetii during my stay within the Empire. I served the Emperor's Hand as apprentice in that era...but today, I am reaching out to speak about current events. Would you oblige me?"

Other Space Kaiden

[member="Darth Metus"]

The voice of the man was familiar, the way he stood and the name he gave were on the tip of Vulcanus's memory. He spoke of the Sith Empire and he spoke of a meeting, but such things often led to misfortune. Vulcanus, unblinking and unfeeling, watched the hologram from the command deck of his Tulak-Horde "The Evolution". What was it that this man wanted from his superior, from the man that taken the throne of the Empire just to watch it fall in his hands? The one who was going to rebuild on its ashes and create a new order that would blacken the skies of every world and bring order and perfection to all?

"What use would I have for speaking to your kind?" was Vulcanus's simply reply while his men locked onto the spot where the transmission was coming from and prepared for hyper speed.

[SIZE=10pt]As Sophia continued to splash/run through the water she could hear the roars getting louder. She didn’t know where the rest of her group was and the woman wasn’t going to be looking behind her to find out. The woman believed that the other Templars could take care of themselves quite well. They all had training before coming here but once they were in the clear Sophia wanted to get a head count and to regroup.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Stopping at an open door she pulled it open and ran inside. The room was empty besides a table sitting off in the corner. It seemed odd to her however she had no time to ponder what the room was used for. Her main concern was getting out of here without getting eaten by whatever monster was out there.[/SIZE]

Norongachi was hot on her heels. He'd been having much the same thoughts about the bellowing cries of whatever creature seemed to be out there in the darkness. He was in no doubt that they'd have to face it sooner rather than later. It was just one of those days. The armoured Lord Commander entered the room behind her, pulling the door with grunts of exertion closed behind them.

The ground shuddered, the table skittering upon its wooden legs, as the vibrations grew and then died just as quickly. Whatever it was, it was big and it was coming far quicker than any of them would have liked.

"Whatever plans the bigwigs had for this place..." He began to [member="Sophia Denko"] . "Its gone to utter shit. We need to get out and then turn this place into a fireball."

"Agreed," Sophia nodded to [member="Salem Norongachi"] as she placed her hands on her hips glancing around the room for a way out at the same time catching her breath. They were in a pickle and she knew that they could only run from this monster for so long until it caught up with them. They were just prolonging the inevitable battle with the sea monster or whatever was destroying the facility.

The room continued to shake as they just stood there which was not helping anything. They needed to get moving before they were caught up to. As Sophia began to walk towards the door the room shook hard again as the ground beneath their feet began to crack. The side Sophia was on suddenly jolted upwards causing her to fall down and slide down into the waters below.
