It had not been very long since young Yuca had been with the woman Ahani Najwa. She played a roll in finding him, but not by the force, but by faith. Her son called Yuca and this child Yuca were the exact same in terms of looks, but the child had died and he lived on. He had been taken away from the Fringe and given new clothes. His mother had a whole new plan for -her- child. She brought him instead of the Sith to the Jedi. She decided that by the moral nature and the well being of the child. A communication recording had been done and given to him as she smiled and just made him land with a shuttle on Ossus. He had a first task to find a Jedi, but they might rather find him.

He landed on the planet of Ossus very early on the day and it well, he didn't live up to his expectations. His real parents were swimming in the credits and he was left by nothing, this was the reason, why he was taken by Ahani. His eyes scouted around the area as he offered the keys, "I hope you need this more than I do." A child with mere cloths that represented his clothes was offering a shuttle for nothing, but a smile. He handed over the keys towards the nearest guards, before sneezing. He just went off by his feeling. The guards were reporting this strange child, but they did not directly stop him.

It had been not for long, when other children were seen running towards their school. They were around the same age, "Hey, what are you looking at, filth?" The boy looked at Yuca, while slowly boys were going stealth-fully in a child like way behind him. Yuca did not answer, he looked at the bully and simply did not answer. The older people knew of his planet fully well to not attack him, since the amount of credits his parents had, this did not count for him here. The bullies were beating him up and not a single muscle of him was moved. Through the corner from his eye another child had noticed it, a padawan. "Hey, you there stop right away!" The bullies looked at him and said, "Darned a Jedi." They quickly ran off and Yuca fell on his butt actually already crying

"Hey, are you okay?" The male Jedi padawan had asked being slightly older than him, "A jedi? Ooh uhm, I am alright." He stood up as he felt most of the pain on his rib section, but he tried to hide his crying, un-useable emotions. His hands went to his ribcage, "Ouch...it hurts." He said with a crying voice . He did not put himself on the first place, but the message that he had to deliver to a Jedi and here he stood. "Uhm, my mother told me to give you this." He sweeped his tears away and tried to -men up-

The Communicator record was given and he pushed the play button and it was showing a woman Ahani

"Greetings, Jedi. I resume by you having placed play, you are either a knight or a master. My name is Lord Ahani, some of you might know me of the champion in the last tournament. and that's my son Yuca. I want my son to enroll into the Jedi academy. He does not have the necessary features to become a Sith. His life had been hard enough on him. I have decided not too take him with me for his own safety and happiness...I am a Sith Lord..."
That moment the woman her voice became stern.
"There are certain circumstances that has to be done or else...I will slaughter every single one of you.."

The Jedi Padawan got frightened, but this was an average day thing on his planet, living on one of Kaine's planets. He kept on trying to listen while showing sometimes a smile.
"My son will be provided with clothes, a bed and food. My son will no longer beg and will be taught that begging is not the same as money saving. My son will under no circumstances be brought back to his planet of origin."

The recording was put on stop and the boy ran over towards a trooper. A trooper followed the boy towards Yuca and said, "Follow the Jedi" The two troopers were on the ready with their gun. They just got themselves a sith, how lucky. Through another communicator a signal was given out that a possible Sith Lord was here at play and that the lord was currently residing on the planet and they tried to escort a young sith at the very moment. The entire trip, Yuca had asked not a single thing, and sneezed countless of times. The moment he asked for a bit of water, it was instantly denied, "You will not get any water." The boy seemed excited now, frightened in the back of his head but angered a bit by his facial expression.

He was slowly brought towards the Jedi Temple, but who would've been faster the masters or would he be waited for at the academy?

As luck would have it, Corvus was on Ossus. She’d been shuttling between here and Ruusan as she made sure both Academies were up to speed.

So she was just finishing a class with some Younglings on how to conquer recklessness when she received a call to meet a trooper and Padawan at the front entrance. It seemed they had captured a Sith Lord.

A combination of nervousness at the potential gravity of the situation fought an uneasy humour that it was unlikely the pair had captured anything. And as she neared the required spot she was relieved that the Force was not suggesting to her they had a Sith on the premises. Using Force Sight she checked the area. A Sith cloaking their presence would likely be visible under scrutiny but she saw only Light-sided auras.

So she opened the door to see the trooper, a Padawan and a young man. Looking around for comedic effect, she simply asked, “And the Sith Lord?”

The trooper suddenly found the floor very interesting so the Padawan stepped in. “He had this…” The Padawan thrust a communicator into Corvus’ hands. She bowed to the Padawan. “Thank you, and I’m sure I can manage things from here.” She waited for them both to depart before smiling at the young man. “Lets walk.”

She led them into the gardens of the Academy whilst at the same time playing the recording. As she did, Corvus repeated some of the key phrases, “Lord Ahani?... Yuca…Slaughter, right…Clothes, a bed and food we can manage…Begging is a no-no so we’re safe there…”

Corvus stopped and bowed to the young man. “Welcome to Ossus Padawan Yuca. I am Corvus, Corvus Raaf. You are Force-sensitive and I agree with your mother that your aura is not suited to the life of a Sith. In a moment, we’ll find you some robes, grab something to eat and show you where you’ll sleep, but first…I suspect this has all been a bit overwhelming. And you must have some questions for me, yes?” She smiled again and allowed the Padawan to speak.

It might have been uneasy for a trooper hearing that a Sith Lord might have been near them. A woman appeared before them and she did not

"Miss, but I am looking for a Jedi Master or Lord?" By accident changing the knight rank with the lord rank from the Sith. He was asked to having a walk with her and he just followed the instruction, she had his communicator which had to be shown to a Jedi knight or master, but if those threats were for real had to be wondered as not even within space, Ahani's ship was not near the planet.

He heard that the two of them were to follow the woman and he did so as it should have been expected, nothing strange or abnormal was being done by Yuca. He followed her into a garden and the Padawan left by now. These flowers, they were alive and sparkling. It was calming for the child his mind, but he did not like them that much. It was just something unusual. "Why are those flowers, all different colors?", he thought for a moment after that he sneezed, "Achi!" He stood on his toes, when trying to with Corvus towards the replay of the communicator, "That was not really kind of her saying that. My parents did not give me any money for food, I had really no choose. It was very cold...I had to stay all day outside till my papa and mama came back even if it took all night in the freezing cold. They didn't care either way as long as I did not use their money." It was a little bit of sadness coming from him, but it seemed to be lowered considerable since he got used to the humiliation in living on the street.

"Uhm" He said poking his lips with his index finger. "Nice to meet you, Lady Raaf." He smiled to her softly, "She's not my mother. She showed me...well it is strange..I look -exactly- the same as her son Yuca. My name is also Yuca. Lady Ahani is kind, uhm, my mother called me a money spilling brat. I only wanted an apple." Yuca was surely not the extremely shy person, but his confidence was not shown yet, which was actually quite shaky because the abuse, he got from his real parents. The planets ruled by Kaine were always ruthless in order to get most productivity out of both, the young and the old. He sneezed and continued to speak, "My..my..my apologies for sneezing. I do have some questions, Is it always this warm here?" It was far warmer than where he came from, but with the little bit of clothing he wore it was only normal.

Corvus smiled at Yuca. “Fear not, I am a Jedi Master, so your mother’s instructions have fallen into the right hands and it is indeed a pleasure to meet you Yuca.”

“And bless you,” she said when he sneezed, “And the reason for the flowers being all different is that although the gardens are tended, we allow things to grow naturally. So many varieties like to be here, so we let them. It is the natural way, and that is the Jedi way. We value all life – even plants.”

“And don’t worry, I do not judge you or your parents. The past is the past. Going forward you will eat regularly and be clothed as a Jedi Padawan. We do not have credits but then we do not need them. All you need will be provided. Anything else would be excess.” Corvus was aware that some Jedi had personal wealth but she followed the Code strictly – although she did not evaluate them, they were simply different to her.

"Sorry to confuse her for your mother. And we should take a trip to the infirmary. It could be an allergic reaction to the flowers. It happens from time to time and we can give medication to alleviate the symptoms. And yes, as a rule it is invariably warm here – it is a jungle area.”

“So tell me, what do you know of the Jedi?”

"I am not scared of you~ You look very kind."

"Ah, well they look - well - pretty." He spoke kindly looking at the flowers before looking at her in the eyes. "So Jedi's value everything alive? Hmmm~"

"Phew, my papa and mama, uhm, are not really nice.. They really mean and strict.. They like credits more than anything." Hearing all the things he will gain from joining up with them made him easily sold. "But credits is needed for everything, without credits you are nobody a poor beggar..How can someone live without credits?" This was easily a brainwash in his mind by his parents, but he also did not know the Jedi deep through the heart so he did not know their lifestyle.

"It is really no problem. She is far more kind than my own mother, but it is not an..." and he sneezed again, "I have been in the cold for very long..These were all the clothes I wore" The truth was that ever since he was five, he was told to go beg for food and drinks every single day. This way he did not waste his parents money, but when he heard it was a jungle his eyebrows rose and a bright smile appeared, "Ah, I came from a snowy ice cold planet."

The question came, what do you know about the Jedi. He did not answer it instantly, by the movement of his lips and his eyes making eye contact and back at the ground shown a somewhat uneasiness, "If I tell you, you might become angry. Evil Emperor Zambrano Kaine had always told how weak they are.. They say they help themselves but actually do nothing else but trying to gain strength for their own well being." He looked down, "That's what he does.." Yuca didn't get brainwashed by all the recruiting and the words which were many times on the television about the supreme ruler Kaine, who's now dead. "A lightsaber color of a Jedi is never red, they are blue, yellow or green, that's the only thing I know." He had told her trying to show an uneasy smile.

Corvus wanted to mention that she knew some fearsome looking Jedi and very friendly looking Sith but decided now was not the right time to mention it.

“You have ended up here and for that we can all be thankful, and we are often strict here but I believe never mean. There are rules we must all follow but I am obliged to behave just like you – there are no favourites or different requirements depending on age or rank.”

“And the Republic pay for all of this. My ship, it’s fuel, the food I eat. Everything I need, they pay for. So I do not need credits. And even if I had them, I’d be too busy to spend them.” She smiled again.

She nodded when he answered about the Jedi. “I will never get cross with you. Sometimes, if you think I would be cross that is enough. You understanding you have done or said something wrong is all that is necessary. I do not need to rebuke you. And if your opinion is asked, just be honest. If a better answer exists, you can learn it – but you can never be wrong for sharing what you have been told. Darth Vornskr, for I believe he is one and the same, is someone I’ve met more than once. Not to talk with, but I have definitely met him. And one thing you’ll learn is that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.”

“We are opposed to the Sith and them to us. Its understandable each side says things that are biased. But a key difference between us is that we do not rule anyone. We simply serve the Republic.”

“Now tell me, has anyone ever taught you how to connect to the Force?”

It had been the bright light of the Aura of Yuca that he had been finally found and been brought to the Jedi. It did no longer matter if there were nice Sith. The darkness would corrupt and the light does not truly exist. Their was only the force. The dark side was for easy power but limited, the force itself was limitless, endless but achieving it was more difficult.

"I know you will be strict and I hope to learn from you a lot, Master Jedi Corvus." He bowed to her in a formal matter.

"Ooh! That's very cool from them paying for everything. Well, If you would like something to spend credits on?~ What would you like the most?" He had asked Lady Raaf smiling towards her as she smiled.

When she was saying something with cross. He did not understand her, he just replaced the word cross in his mind with angry and it seemed to make sense. The way the woman spoke calm but very motivational, allowing him to express himself and not restrict himself to any matter as long as he would do it in a controlled matter that when he knows hes doing something wrong or right. These decisions and consequences, he would still need to learn a lot in his life about it but that would all come in due of time.

"Hmm, I think I understand what you mean."

"Uhm, the force you say? I do not think I have really heard of it. It has been on the news though...Strange things happens, Sith were flying."

Corvus listened and smiled. It was better to start life as a Padawan without misconceptions or strong opinions one way or the other.

So she led him to one of her favourite spots in the grounds. The Meditation Pavillion. It was a circular construction with a roof but open at the sides. And around the circumference was a short brick wall and seating.

Indicating they should sit, she spoke to Yuca. “The Force is very special. It is likely you have connected to it before without realising it. What I would like you to do is close your eyes. And then relax. Try to push all thoughts out of your mind and concentrate only on my voice.” Her words were soft and barely above a whisper now.

“I will share with you what it feels like to connect to the Force. Once I have done so, you will know what it feels like and you can attempt to connect with it all by yourself.”

As she said this, she pulled the Force to her and placing a hand gently on his shoulder, she pushed a small amount into him. “The Force surrounds us and is within us. It is there if you look for it.”

Yuca was being brought to another location within the Jedi Academy. They went over towards an area which was pretty well looking. The brightness of the sun did no penetrate on the ground and so it would be slightly colder there but also it was the place where he would learn about the force. When Corvus sat down he sat next to her.

Corvus spoke in a very calm way, her words were soft but still very clear. He slowly closed his eyes and deeply inhaled and exhaled. He tried to listen and focus onto the woman but on the back of his mind it was already on other things example; What he would learn as a Jedi, "Okay I am ready"

His eyes followed the movement from Corvus Raaf knowing her intentions of making him feel the force. A tiny amount was surged from his shoulder into his body and he could hear the force calling out for him, but it quickly disappeared. When he felt the force his eyes widened and he looked directly into his masters eyes, "I heard that force thing speak to me!" It suddenly flopped out of his mouth slightly louder than he wanted. He had placed both of his hands on top of his mouth and his cheeks became red of blushing. "Sorry"

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

Corvus nodded. “That’s good. The first time you look to connect to the Force is always the toughest. Once you’ve learned to connect it because as naturally as breathing, trust me.”

“Now, lets try again. I’ll do the same as before but when you feel the Force entering your body recognise it and with your mind, search for it, it surrounds you and is there for you to find. And when you do, tell me what you feel.”

Yuca's bright smile appeared the moment that he got the compliment of the Jedi master. "Okay! I will try my best" He nodded for himself and slowly closed his eyes as his cheeks became red again. His high energy was not a good thing for meditation. He had a few seconds to calm down, "Uhm, sorry..." He said looking away for a short moment. When he calmed down, he relaxed his shoulders and closed his eyes. He tried to keep an empty mind, but still try to think and feel the force.

Yuca did not have a great ability to focus. He never had to try to be quiet to feel a flow. He tried to think that it was something around him, but he did not recognize the force as before, "Uhm, I can't feel anything.." He said before trying again, but it did not quite work out.

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

Corvus was going to use the line about ‘trying’ but decided they didn’t know each other well enough yet. So instead she allowed him to go at his own pace. Force Abilities were notoriously like this – they took a while to begin with and then, once competent, a Jedi could call on them instantly and invariably without thought.

Finally the youngster admitted defeat and Corvus was obliged to act. “Trust in the Force and believe it will happen. Even words like try suggest you doubt your ability to perform the task. That doubt will ensure you don’t succeed. Simply relax and believe that you will connect to the Force – and then it will happen. It is never, ever more complicated than that.”

Yuca didn't have that much confidence in himself being able to utilize the force at a good proficiency. He was being very haste with his judgement and Corvus didn't allow that. She acted on it and he opened his eyes. He listened to the young Jedi-Master and tried to take in the information. "Hmm, so trying is bad? You should try it or don't do it at all?" He thought in his head while scratching himself behind his neck.

He deeply inhaled and tensed up before relaxing his body, "I will -do- it again." He let his head hang and tried to focus. "The force...Focus on the force...Focus on the force.." slowly he felt warm from the inside. This was because he focused on the light instead of the dark. "Its warm like the sun." He had told to the Jedi. He kept on focusing and trying to do the most important thing, believe in the force. "I can feel the force."

He did as told and kept on doing it. The force slowly flowing through his body while it was connecting with his body and guiding his motions, words unheard off were being told in his mind while hearing nothing at all. "It stays warm, not super warm but warm. It is a nice feeling" He told the Jedi Master, while his eyes remained closed.

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

Corvus nodded. "That is how the Force feels to me too. But after a couple of decades, I have become used to the feeling and forgot how special it feels the first time you truly connect."

"It is that connection that allows us to perform our Abilities. In time you'll learn these too."

Yuca had calmly listened towards Jedi Master, Corvus Raaf. The woman had seemed to be incredibly calm and a great inspiration for the boy. His eyes seemed to be sparkling when she spoke to him. Her voice was very soothing in his mind and he nodded, "Yes, master Jedi Corvus."

"I come to the understanding that the force will take me a lot of practice before I am strong enough to use it well." He said, but then he looked at her straight into her eyes, "I will promise though to do my very best, to become your best Jedi~" He smiled brightly.

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

(sorry it took so long ><)

Corvus smiled warmly. "Become the best Jedi you can be for yourself, and for nobody else."

"My initial advice is to spend some time with the other Padawans. Find a friend, a buddy, that can show you things from a Padawan's perspective, not from the more formal relationship we have. Trust me, it will benefit you in the long run."

Corvus was incredibly awesome within the eyes of Yuca. He knew he wanted to make her proud in the future and said, "Okay, master Corvus!" with a voice very happily.

He took up her advice in getting some padawan friends. This was understood by him, but if he would be a good example was the second thing for them...especially if they would've been younger than he was. "Uhm, I understand, get friends, practice with them..."

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

Corvus nodded. "Yes. Take general lessons with the other Padawans and integrate yourself with them. They can teach you many things I cannot - because they see things from a different perspective. Enjoy your time here. There are many calls on me given my various roles and commitments to train my Padawans. Being self-sufficient will do you a lot of good believe me."

She smiled again, "So, come and see me in a few days and tell me of your progress." She led him back to the Academy and to the dormitory area. "Settle in and we'll speak soon." She bowed and headed off for her next lesson, teaching Younglings about the Ruusan Reformation.
