It also would ruin some of the mystique of the Dark Lord.

Its unnecessary to submit him. Most of the point of this NPC creation is so your NPC's don't get insta-killed. That wont happen. The Dark Lord is protected chiefly by the 5 Voices, to even get close of them you have to defeat all 5 of them, not to mention all of our other members. Vazela learned this, when others try it, they will as well.

That being said I really hope that the Dark Lord actually is a Dark Lord instead of what happened with the Shadow Academy (fake Darth Sidious created with recordings and the like and controlled by a former Royal Guard).
