COMBAT INFORMATION
- Availability: Rare
- Deployment: Limited
- Strengths & Weaknesses:
High Force Resistance: The Dashade's natural high resistance to the Force enables them to go almost toe-to-toe with Jedi and other Force users, making them exceptional Jedi Hunters for the Brotherhood of the Sith. - Immense Physical Strength: Towering at two meters average and weighing well over a hundred kilos each, the Dashade Shadow Killers are exceptionally physically powerful on levels equal to or just shy of a Wookiee's.
- Well-Equipped: Outfitted with state-of-the-art cybernetics and fielding advanced Sith technology, the Shadow Killers are prepared for almost every eventuality and have everything they need to battle the enemies of the Dark Side.
- Low Numbers: The Cron Drift Supernova left the Dashade's homeworld a barren waste, and while restoration efforts have been going on for several centuries the planet and the species has not yet fully recovered. The Shadow Killers are the best of the best among the Dashade, and their numbers reflect that.
- EMP: Though partially protected from minor electromagnetic energy, a concentrated EMP blast can knock out or hamper the multiple cybernetics built into the Shadow Killer's bodies.
- Primarily Melee Combatants: Staying in step with their people's tradition of brutal honor, the majority of the Shadow Killers are solely meleed combatants. Wielding oversized vibro-weapons into battle, they need to move into close quarters distance of their enemies to cause any serious damage. Some Dashade has adopted heavy Sith-Imperial weaponry to make up for this melee-centric mindset, but they are a noticeable minority.
DESCRIPTION
When the Sith Empire reclaimed the Auril Sector from the Silver Jedi, they inherited control over the wasted world of Urkupp; homeworld of the infamous Dashade. The Sith found strange bedfellows with the surviving Dashade that lived on or around the planet, and through several struck bargains the Sith pledged to help rebuild their homeworld in return for their service to the Empire.
Many Dashade went on to serve the Sith in multiple campaigns, from Thyferra to Alderaan to Commenor, and the Sith Emperor was impressed by their fortitude and ferocity. Sensing opportunity, Emperor Carnifex recruited the most savage warriors among the Dashade race to serve in an elite group under his direct control.
They were augmented with cybernetics to be wholly subservient to his majesty, a chip implanted in their brain controlling their thoughts and ensuring submission. They were then given powerful armor and weapons to ensure that their combat ability could be exploited to its fullest potential, the Dashade allowed to revel in their desire for brutality against the enemies of the Sith.
Taking their name from the Dashade term for their most feared warriors, the Shadow Killers were again reborn under the control of the Sith.
