I smiled as she tried to give me reassurance, however, it was very little. Even if she put her head on my shoulder, But I did notice the comment of her wanting to even just be with me. I smiled brightly as we walked. I tilted my head to rest on hers for a second and then lifted it as we were walking. "Well if you didn't then I would question why we have been kissing each other." I smiled even more so as I probed my elbow at her. "I liked being with you as well Aerin. Its nice to talk to someone..... and a little more."

Aerin rolled her eyes jokingly. "There you go again. Ruining a beautiful bonding moment with body talk," She teased, poking his side playfully.

Poking my side again, I looked down at her. "You want body talk? Then I will give it too you." with a flash of my hand, it went towards her side and began to poke her. In the sides and moving to her kidneys and up her side. "You asked for it."

Aerin moved awkwardly, trying to shy away from his poking, and laughing the whole time. "Cut it out! That tickles!" She cried. She also began some return-fire.

I smiled as she tried to get away from me, however, as she had her arm inside mine, I clamped my elbow close to my side to keep her from moving too far away from me. As she tried to poke me, it was in vain. I was not a ticklish person. So this poke battle was very one sided. Once more, I came in to poke her along her side, "But Aerin, you are enjoying it!" I began to laugh as she was rather ticklish. Surprisingly, for a girl that seemed badass, was rather.... how do I put this, Girly? Ticklish?

"This game is TOTALLY RIGGED!" Aerin laughed, noticing how in-ticklish Nick was. She squirmed uncomfortably as he continued poking her. Dang! she hadn't laughed this hard in who knows how long! It was starting to hurt her sides she was laughing so bad. Or was it him poking her that hurt? she couldn't tell.

I smiled as she had realized that there was no winning this war. Smiling as both of us were laughing, I almost stopped myself to remember the last time I had ever laughed. Instead, I continued to laugh, rather than think of the past without Aerin and the current tickle battle that we were having. Eventually I slowed down because I was laughing so hard my sides cramped up, and my stomach felt like it was burning. I could tell that Aerin was feeling the same. I smiled and hugged her as both of us laughed, "Oh yes it quite is."

Aerin squeezed Nick back in a colossal bear-hug. She noticed that he smelled kind of like woodsmoke. It was a comforting scent. When the hug was over, her stomach rumbled. "I hear you, I hear you," She said to it jokingly.

I chuckled as she squeezed back. Popping my back with her strength as she said that she had heard me. I let my arms simply wrap around her when I smiled brightly, "If you look to your left, you will now see your destination." Indicating to look with my head, she would see a place called, "Rocket Skates" A place that I had seen earlier in the few weeks I was here. Inside the windows you could see kids messing around, as well as lights flashing everywhere and even hear the slight boom of a bass note from some form of music. "have you ever tried pulser-skates?" Simply by letting go with my left arm and turning both of us to face the place. "But that is not the real purpose we are here." Winking to her as I had an idea on what we would be doing.

Aerin raised her eyebrows. "Pulser-skating? Wow. That really took me off guard," She said. "And actually, no. I've never skated before." She eyed him winking at her. "What's that little brain of yours thinking in there?" She asked, gently knocking on his forehead with her knuckle.

I still kept my almost childish smile on even is she had not been skating before, and how she was wondering on what the two of us would be doing later on. (Get your mind out of the gutter!) I shrugged my shoulders, "Why should I ruin the fun?" grabbing her hand I began to lead her toward the establishment. "Now what size shoes do you wear?"

"Uh.... nine?" Aerin said nervously. She didn't really think skating across a room around a bunch of people sounded very safe. But she'd never seen Nick this way before. He was as excited as a little boy, and it made her feel the same way.

Her nervousness was apparent, I smiled as she said her shoe size was a nine. She must have small feet. Because I wear elevens. "Why are you so nervous?" I squeezed her hand to let her know that I was still there holding onto her. A man the spoke, asking for he credits to enter, as well as the size of our shoes. Answering him and getting a slip of paper, I turned back to Aerin. "Ready?"

Aerin took a deep breath. "Yeah. Let's skate." She picked up the skates that were listed in her size and looked at them a bit strangely. They looked like normal boots, until you got to the bottom and saw the pulsers. She slipped them onto her feet sitting down. She was a bit wary to stand when she was finished.

I smiled as she put hers on. Wary of the use and when they had activated, I smiled. Putting my own on, I stood up and offered her my hand, use it as a stable point. "Just slide your feet one in front of the other. Lean forward a little and you will go. Lean too much forward and you will be flying." moving around here with an almost practiced precision, I smiled, "Don't worry, I won't let you fall."

Aerin smiled a bit and took his hand. "If I fall on my face, I'm taking you down with me," She threatened teasingly, wagging her finger at him. She wobbled a bit as she stood up, leaning into the strength of Nick's arm to keep her balance. Somehow, she knew that this wasn't going to end well for her.

I smiled as her empty threat of taking me down if she fell. Taking my hand, she stood up and was already clinging onto me. And she was tense. Almost like I was holding hands with a statue. "Relax it will be fine. If you tense up, it will hurt should you fall." smiling I squeezed my hand and moved to skate backwards. "Come on it will be fun" I spoke while leading her to the rink.

Aerin clenched her jaw, concentrating on keeping her balance and moving at the same time. She stumbled several times as they began making their way around the rink. She made a valiant effort to stay on her feet. However, she eventually completely slipped, and fell into Nick.

Each time that Aerin was about to fall over, I righted myself and pushed her up a little bit. Keeping her on her feet. But as always there was a point when one would fall. It was inevitable. I was right when she fell, and as she fell towards me, I caught her with my arms. I wrapped one arm around her waist to prevent her from slipping from my other hand on her back. Looking down at her, I smiled and shook my head. "Are you okay?" I waited for a second for her to respond before Started to lift her up, only to where I leaned in and kissed her.

Corny and cheesy I know, but I just had to do it.

Aerin sighed sharply. "This is so embarrassing..." She grumbled. She felt like she was handicapped with those skates. When Nick kissed her, she hugged his neck, more for balance than anything else.
