The Domain of Fire(Clans of Mandalore Dominion of Ord Cantrell)

"Incoming!"
Wasp had dove to the ground behind the crest of the hill as a plasma eel soured by. Wasp had never seen anything like it. Her flash goggle visor suddenly went dark as the area was bathed in blue light and ashen dust. Once the dust began to settle, they all stand and make ready to move. all but one.

"status?" She demands, looking down at one of the fallen. "Dead, Ma'am.."

"Than we keep moving. Come on"

The group makes a run for it, continuing towards their objective. At some point during that journey, Their support from clan australis arrived.
A dropship quickly drops out of the clouds, and a small pod like speeder hovers out before it's driver retreats back to the safety of the ship

"Good luck out there"

Wasp had heard of these but had yet to see one person. a http://starwarsrp.net/topic/138146-mandalarms-assault-speeder/[/FONT]Masp-1Assault speeder, the spherical and double gunned speeder would be a challenge to maneuver, but it was what they had to work with.

Wasp and the squad leader of her mortui escort clambered into the strange vehicle and sped off toward their target. wasp driving, the squad leader turning the guns to face the rear and blazing slugs down range towards their pursuers.
Meanwhile the mortui infantry with them took off with their jetpacks in order to keep up.
Wasp herself was amazed when a http://starwarsrp.net/topic/136616-mandalarms-wulfen-class-airspeeder/[/FONT]Wulfen class de-cloaked high above and dropped an advanced proton bomb on one of the tank beasts before re-cloaking. after that, it became linked to wasp's HUD for further use.

Now they were making progress, speeding towards the power supply.

Elijah's eyes widened under his armor as he tried saw the three frigates pulling towards them. Vong ships were powerful, but maybe.... He had and idea.

"Mig! Liddin! Lead Hunter group and the Enigmas around the back. Don't thing they'll be scared of ya."

"Roger"

"On it." Meanwhile, and the bounty hunting ships and FACs circled around, the Gred Admiral hit the comms, wanting to say something.

"Not sure if you understand Basic or not, but there is this old saying about biting off more than you can chew." It was then that the Keros' Kad went full throttle towards the three frigates, firing it's turbolasers and advanced proton torpedoes as it did. The Nebulan-B2s let loose from their positions, lined up to not hit the Gred flaghip, while the Storm-classes let loose with their own torpedoes. Behind, the bounty hunting vessels and Enigmas began to fire on the rear of the frigates.

As this happened, the Vipers continued to chase down Coralskippers, using their agility to avoid enemy fire.

Thror began to get exited as he caught up with the landing forces. On his scope he say a large group of vong, " Aalar ner a'den' tou kelir mot violte ibic me'suum." He yelled as he threw the very little ordnance he had, consisting of two proton torpedoes and three concussion missiles, at the vong. The resulting carnage made him yell "Oya!" But he failed to notice vong anti air emplacements. his ship took a direct hit Ripping through his shields. His instrument panel light up with damage reports. Thror grew frantic he attempted to guide his ship to the LZ the his computer extrapolated, But he ended up off course by a few kilometers. Bracing for impact he gritted his teeth then every thing went black.

Marching along inside the worldship, Adenn noted the maze that the ship was, how it seemed to loop in on itself and spread out at random. Though it would be tough, Adenn also believed his vode and he would be able to succeed. Then a challenge came, in the form of lots of Vong, something that Adenn wasn't opposed to in the slightest. Letting out a warcry, Adenn opened fire on the charging Vong, as did his men. Even as they did that, Adenn noted that it seemed as if they were heavier somehow, though how exactly was unknown to him, but also a problem for later.

Growling in disgust and anger, Adenn batted the first Vong to reach him off to the side, letting it slam against the wall, hard. The next one was harder, actually managing to scratch Adenns armor slightly on the shoulder plate, right through the Mythosaur skull symbol. Adenn shot the thing point blank in the neck, killing it, before letting loose some flames towards the others. The Mandalorians with Adenn had also opened fire, with those in void armor(that what the Beskad Warriors/Elite wear) succeeding the most, while the regulars struggled slightly. But they were supported by the elites, and they wouldn't stand by to let their vode simply die. Raising their shields, the Beskad Elite charged the enemy, they were slow and ponderous, doubly so by the gravity against them, but they hit like a battering ram.

The impromptu charge managed to break the enemys own charge, but the cost to the regulars wasn't anything to sneeze at. Then the Vong opened fire with their own weapons, while the shields the Beskad Elite and Warriors were using was enough to protect them, the regulars didn't have so much protection, instead being hit or somehow dodging. Out of the dozen or so warriors with Adenn, 3 fell, 2 never to move again. But the Vong who had attacked were also slaughtered mercilessly, even if they fought with all they had. As they shot their bugs, gravity increased on the Mandalorians, throwing some off, but Adenn kept fighting on, shooting the little critters as they neared. One managed to jump at him, but he skewered it on his beskad before flicking it off.

A few minutes of intense fighting later, the Mandalorians emerged triumphant, but the cost wasn't eas. They had lost another warrior, the warrior was injured but could still move, however, he wasn't at peak functionality. He insisted on continuing, and Adenn didn't refuse him, but knew that they could be held back slightly. Looking around, Adenn shook his head in disgust before moving on with his warriors close behind. Now that the enemy had revealed themselves, Adenn had a better understanding of the ship layout. They had come from the left before their charge, and the left led towards the center of the ship. No doubt the center was also where the leader of these things resided. Growling, Adenn pointed in that direction and the Mortui soldiers moved towards the center of the ship. Even as they walked, gravity pressure increased on them, it was noticeable in everyone, even if those in power armor had assistance of servos to keep them upright.

Sneering behind his helmet, Adenn kept walking when they came to a corner, one with some more Mandalorians there. They were all surprised, not expecting to find someone else so close. Then again, the corridors worked against any and all attackers. That wasn't important though, the other Mandalorians seamlessly merged with Adenns Mandos, and together they kept moving. At the same time, all across this side of the ship were more and more fights breaking out, as the nigh thousand Clan Mortui warriors fought on and on. They fought and killed, or died, but they all helped in their own ways. None so more than Adenn and his men, no doubt they'd be seen as dangerous, but that'd help Adenn direct him towards the center of the ship, and towards the leader. A leader whose ship he was going to take, so he swore, over and over. Even as he walked and killed, even as those around him did so too, and died every so often. But they kept marching, following twisting patterns that weren't there, and being pressured by gravity nonstop. Deciding to end the monotony, Adenn spoke to his men.
"Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no enemies, for we are the most dangerous foe around. Onward men, onward forever more, for glory and for Mandalore, for Mortui!"

It invigorated his men, they kept fighting, harder and farther, always advancing towards the center. Adenn and his group neared the center of the ship, even if it was relatively speaking. The world ship was massive, it would take much fighting and work to get to the center and the enemy leader, but they were hell bent on doing it. None so more than Adenn, the one who lead them from the front, who kept killing Vong, even as he went and was fought in stead. He accumulated wounds and scars, but he ignored them all, working as a force of nature, killing all the way. But men died, and Adenn was only a man, he could die, as his men died behind him. Even the Beskad Warriors/Elites were taking damage, but they kept fighitng, traveling ever deeper. But it was never close enough, not that it mattered, they'd reach their target, even if it killed them, but not before they killed it. So they marched deeper into the ship, following winding passages, and taking wounds, but standing strong.

Bloodshed, death, fire raining all around her, a symphony of war being played in her modst and she was a instrument within it. She hadnt felt war like this in years and the fire once more coursed through her veins as she laughed slicing another down

The swarms that moved like tendrils around her did not faze her in the slightest , one cane towards her and she blew right through it with a mighty roar before she came out the other side blood staining her armor and face as she constantly turned to watcher her enemy carefully ready for when the tendril would smack into her again

And smacked it did, however it was a voxyn that tackled into her from the side, she turned it it and grabbed her lightsaber as she activated it with a white flash and started stabbing right into the the beast. Roaring again as she felt her side sting a bit. She looked to the vong as the spores came right to her, she knew there was no avoiding the poisoning her super soldier enhancements would be able to fight it long enough

So she decided to spit in their face so to say

She took a deep breath and then while grinning wildly she let a burst of flameout right at them making it the hottest she could as she felt tha dark side fueling it

The Never Again

[member="Kaine Australis"] was getting twitchy, and he was not the only adult in the room with the urge to spring to action. Idly running her left arm along her right, Yasha felt the dichotic shiver of the Vong biot now spliced permanently into her flesh and bone. There would be no physical battle from the Infernal or her Kain’ik today.

“Kain’ik, what’re you…”

“Keep us updated, and… and get me the lead on the base retrofits. We need to ensure by the end of the battle, that Ord Cantrell’s infrastructure is still ours. Call in the Engineers on stand-by.” Her stern visage returned, staring at her husband. “[member="Flash Australis"] is on the Command Deck. We both know to trust him. Thank you, Ambrose.”

While she nodded Ambrose off, her brow still furrowed. Arm around Reyn, Yasha watched Kaine’s inner battle. Once it subsided, Yasha’s body shifted an inch from the couch, lengthy raven hair spreading out around her. Her laughter once more peppered through the space, as Reyn flopped and struggled against his father’s gentle force nudge. Off Reyn went, Magnus and Girak-Kaine veering toward each other.

With the gravity modified, Yasha pushed off the couch and flipped head over heels for the joy of it.

“Yipes! Kain’ik!!” Yasha yelped, as Kaine bounded over and wound his arm around her waist. Her legs kicked out, as she floated back down from his velocity, bouncing on the couch with her legs flopped over Kaine’s closest leg. “Gah! Aahahaha!”

Yasha watched the kids veer off, while the gravity came back and Reyn landed in his father’s arm, squirming to get away. His pleas to his parents fell not on deaf ears, but upon his mother’s laughter. Yasha laughed so hard she hiccupped and grabbed her stomach, head sinking onto Kaine’s shoulder.

As Magnus yelped out a happy scream, Girak attempted to run at and boop into his brother at as much speed as he could manage. Wiping her eyes, Yasha opened her left arm to Reyn.

“C’mere Ram’ika. Get a hug then go play, okay? Papa must’ve delivered the present to your room by now.” While the battle raging below did indeed bring Yasha the urge to rush to whatever console she could, she forced herself to pay the needed attention to her children. Adara gone to her boarding school, and Beth much the adult, this was the only chance she had, until Ambrose returned with more news.

She trusted her Vode. They would do what had to be done.

Thror woke up, as he looked around he realized he was not on the ground but on a world ship, He looked around the cockpit oh his downed blast boat. He realized that his ship was a lost cause, it was damaged in the crash the tail section of the ship was torn off, This ship isnt going anywhere he thought. he got out of the pilots chair and collected his equipment. A T-28 repeating sniper rifle, DL-44 Heavy Blaster, his fathers beskad, and a grapple launcher. He checked his wrist launchers and headed out. He stepped out of his ship and heard sounds of fighting in the distance, figuring that it was best to head towards the battle.

As he walked through the corridors of the world ship he notice that he hadn't come across any vong, that thought perplexed him there should me lost of vong perhaps they were heading to the site of the fighting. While this thought crossed his mind a vong warrior appeared out of a side corridor and ran straight int Thror. Surprised he didn't waste any time he drew his Beskad and swung at the vongs head. the crack of the weapon echoed in the corridor, a crack had appeared in the helmet on the vondon crab armor. the real fight just started. the vogn warrior reeling from the attack, flicked his hand and his amphistaff became a rigid spear. Thror remembered his fathers lessons on the vong go for the armpit and what ever you do dont get hit with the vongs weapon. it coulks cut through almost any thing and it could spit a venom that cause and excruciating death. Thror had to rely on his speed to kill this monstrosity. The vong let loose with a series of rapid strikes, thror only barley manage dto doge or deflect them, he was able to get inside the vongs gaurd."Haili cetare haran" he said as his beskad slid int the armpit of the vong an into its heart. The Creature had a look of shock and its face not believing it could be bested. thror smile din his helmet as the creature slumped in death. He returned his beskad to is spot on his belt and continued toward the sounds of battlle.

He was getting close to the sounds when he turned teh corner and saw the mos magnificent thing in his life a group of Mandos about 1000 strong and Quite a bit of warriors that looked like walking tanks. "Oya!" he yelled and ran towars the and the battle.

The barrage from [member="Strider Garon"] and his troop's baslisks cause 3 of the rakamats off guard as they let out a loud roar of pain as two of them went down the other half of the Rakamats though concentrated there basils to full repel and sent out torrents of gravimetric waves towards the warriors as some of the vong on the ground where equally decimated by the barrages but kept pushing as the rakamats unloaded there soldiers and they started there charge towards the city as the plasma turrets on the Rakamats started firing upon the baslisks followed shortly by a squadron of coral skippers who opened fire upon the war mounts and the vong speeders lifted up to join the battle as they fired upon them the fire Spitters continued there blazing march.

As the horde was about to engage [member="Vhei Wasp Naudir"] they where pushed back a little by the sudden arrival of the speeder and the bombing run of the bomber that dropped its payload killing a large amount of the chazrach but as Wasp can quickly find out as she made her push to the powerplant several vong on there speeders pursued her and her soldiers, As well as vong on the ground opened fire on her with blast bugs as the horde moved heading in the same direction she was heading.

As [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and his warriors made there march through the ship he could see at times corriders closing and moving and the gravity continued to increase on them as yaret kors grew out of the walls like miniature turrets and started firing upon them as vong warriors appeared seemingly almost out of no where some picking a time to ambush them at close range while others tried sniping and ranged combat firing blast bugs and razor bugs to compensate for the thick armor of the intruders, The yammosk continued doing its best to coordinate the battle outside and inside but it ensured to send any important vong data out to Elafuh through the Villip and erasing whatever is stored on the ship should the ship fall into enemy hands there creations and knowledge shall not. Some of the vong warriors planted plasma eels into the more sensitive areas of the ship more so the shaper labs to detonate them so that nothing within the labs can be used against them.

As [member="Thror Cal Vorn"] joined the fray 2 vong warriors leaped down from above onto him going or attempting to go for a slash at him with there bone blades, That is if the ambush even worked according to plan but he too would feel the increased gravity.

As she unleashed her blazing inferno upon the horde the vong spores unleashed upon her would normally be deadly to a normal person however [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"]'s super soldier augments made it so that the worst shed get is a very potent headcold atleast for now unless another more intense batch struck her after she unleashed another torrent thats when 6 vong warriors threw there plasma eels to her like lances of cyan energy zoomed to her in the hopes of hitting and vaporizing there prey.

A few blast bugs zip by as wasp and her makeshift team sped closer and closer to the powerplant. coming closer they could see that it was still a fortified position, it had fallen from its glory days under the galactic empire, but it would still be operational if they could only power it.
the squad leader who was now acting as wasp's gunner targets the vong speeders, firing the chain fed dakka turrets mounted to the little pod like speeder, let's see if we can blast their speeders out from under them.
The rest of the squadron starts firing back, some tossing thermal detonators, others firing wrist rockets or simply blasting their way through the field.
After a short trip through the the field, the squadron arrives at the powerplant. A quick look around revealed the layout of the base, A large circular set of thick metal walls with a single gate, left open due to a lack of power, and a large tower in the center.

The assault pod stops right in the gateway and turns as wasp hops out and the squad leader keeps the guns going, using the speeder as an anti-infantry turret and barricade.
The rest of the squadron disengages their jetpacks, landing on top of the wall to provide fire support.
All save for one, a marksman who follows wasp up to the central tower to snipe enemies from up high while wasp starts removing panels and rearranging wires.

Now they just had to keep her covered until the power was back on.

She pushed those that had died off of her, head hurting nose feeling stuffed up and a mild fever but wasnt stoppimg her at all as she roared forward and put her fist through a lizard man whatever it was! Star threw it to the side and roared out

all you have you over grown bugs! Come on now I eat this poodoo for breakfast

She said as she drew her westar ans started firing into the hoard a grin forming further on her face, the heat of battle she relished in, the sound of the enemy dying before her, the smell of battle...it made her feel young again

Made her feel alive

Eyes caught cyan streaks heading towards her, damn eels, however she formed a grin and channeled the force through her body laughing as she held her hands out and made a wall of fire close to then before she dysrated spreading it out so it would start sticking to the hoard and spread

you think yourself tough! Your on the bottom of the food chain hahaha

A dragon, she spread destruction and followed war, it was her every growing story that one day she hoped would be remembered

“Drift around, take us between the Uros, and fire all guns.” Livia held firm to an ‘offence being the best defence’ policy. “Mr. Tucker, inform me as to the quality of our shields… helm keep us between the two main ships until our hull integrity is buffered by the vong’s bioorganic plasma.

“You may quit standing and hop to at your leisure, Admiral Australis. We could very much use a few extra guns.” The streams of fire from the Never Again caused Livia to sit forward on her Command chair. Now, the Vong would have plenty to fire at… instead of the Defiant Mantis and the Gred fleet.

A volley of vongfire smacked into the Defiant Mantis’ shields, doubling as the 5000m battleship swerved into the two Vong powerhouse ships with an incendiary assault far surpassing its’ rather gargantuan size.

The coralskippers were falling to [member="Mig Gred"]’s Vipers. The increased handling of the Mandalorian fighters was impressive against the slower, but more powerfully cannoned Vong skippers.

Two of the frigates began to list to the side, squaring around on the fast moving, but smaller Keros’ Kad. Due to the coral-structure of the bioships, the plasma cannons were impossible to discern. Strikes coming from anywhere on the bodies of the stellar beasts.

At the Never Again’s assault, one of the A-vek Ililuun carriers cracked and the disc atop its’ docking bays shattered. The beleaguered ship continued to attempt to fire, yet got caught in the gravitational pull of the planet.

The Sh’rip Sh’pa seedship made closer to the surface, attempting to duck underneath the Mandalorian fire.

The Never Again

Yasha’s laughter died as the Never Again rocked. Her eyes flickered to the viewport and the streams of fire, which crashed deadly and ever present against the ships and skips around Ord Cantrell space.

“Boys! Stay close.” A bead in Yasha’s ear gave burst-updates to the battle on the ground. The Mandalorian forces were facing a grievous threat, but those on the ground held fast and firm. They exploded with bursts of fire, and fought from corner to corridor. Yasha looked up to [member="Ambrose Cadera"], calculating in her head how long it would take to get in armour, to drop down to the surface. The gurlanin’s eyes flickered underneath his buyce. He sighed and removed the helmet, clipping it to his belt. Shook his head. This was not her fight.

Yasha hugged into [member="Kaine Australis"]’ side, as their three boys watched enraptured by the battle, unaware of what each explosion meant, and how much loss of life radiated from the conflict. Soon Reyn would be much more aware than the others. Yet, it mystified Yasha.

Her boys, her daughter… they knew none of the violence she did at their ages. They grew up with games and friends and a family around them. To think this wasn’t her battle, that the Vode required another type of fight from the Infernal. The fight to allow her body time. Time to heal, to rest.

She was no good to any Vode half-dead and writhing in a hospital bed, stimming up to get to the next important event. Close to Kaine, she watched her sons’ infatuation with the battle, Girak in quiet awe, Magnus shouting ‘did you see that’’s and pointing at the screen. Reyn watching with a bit more cognizance, maybe even imagining his next battle beside his father.

As the boys watched the feed, enrapt in all it entailed, Kaine kissed Yasha’s neck. She gasped softly at the attention, amber eyes swerving along his shoulders and up to his gaze. Yasha gave a worried smile, her left hand coming up to brush across the back of Kaine’s neck. She kissed him there, sons distracted, while the battle for Ord Cantrell lingered on.

The march through the corridors was hell, they were assailed at almost every moment, and gravity was trying to crush them. When the yaret kors appeared on the walls, the Beskar Warriors and Elites immediately took point, placing their shields in the way of the enemy fire. As the vong appeared from nowhere, they were immediately fired upon, while those trying to snipe were shot with rockets. Adenn himself drew his sword and began stabbing the vong at close range, ensuring that they didn't get past him, not that it mattered to those coming from behind.

The warriors of Clan Mortui fought valiantly, but it wouldn't be enough in the end, never really was. Even as [member="Thror Cal Vorn"] came upon part of the Clan Mortui warriors, they were being pushed back. Clan Mortui was taking casualties, but they were still managing to hold back the worst of the tide. Even spread out, they could communicate, and communicate they did. Then they let out a massive roar, and charged the Vong as one. Even as they were knocked down, they got back up, using stim kits and kolto to keep fighting. Those in void armor(link is in beskar warrior and elite) led this charge, alongside Adenn. The vong were firing, the Mandalorians were firing, it was pure chaos and war, a location perfect for Mandalorians.

As they charged, the Vong counter charged, with a rather large Vong warrior at their head, amphistaff at the ready. Adenn met this warrior face to face, sword clashin against the amphistaff before Adenn opened fire with his wrist blaster, firing straight into the vongs face. It reared back, roaring in pain before swinging out with its staff, knocking Adenn through a nearby wall that turned out to be a door. Adenn was knocked into shaper lab, straight into a shaper with the strength to break bones. Thankfully only a few of Adenns cracked, nothing broken, because the warrior he hit cushioned him, in the process becoming flattened. The eel it had been planting fell to the ground, moments before Adenn shot it in the head and looked around. The place looked important, so he ordered a squad to stay behind once they'd pushed further up.

Even as he staggered to his feet, the massive vong warrior entered the room, growling low and menacingly at Adenn. It then threw the amphistaff at him, hoping to impale Adenn in one go, however Adenn was faster. Ducking to the right, Adenn caught the staff mid-flight and threw it full force back at the warrior. It hadn't expected that, and rather than dodge, took it full on in the chest, being impaled by its own weapon. The Vong warrior stood there dumbfounded for a moment before falling to its knees, hands instinctively going to its chest. Adenn walked towards it, and gazed down at it, hate filling his eyes, before raising his wrist and letting loose a burst of fire at the warriors head. It shrieked in agony, face melting, hands desperately clawing at its face before falling over dead.

The staff was still stuck through its chest and Adenn wasn't going to let such a useful weapon behind. So, reaching down, Adenn yanked the staff out of the warriors chest and flicked the blood off of it. Then he stepped out of the room and back to his men, amphistaff in one hand and sword in the other. His men looked at him in surprise, having lost track of him in the fighting. Looking around, Adenn noticed a few Beskar Warriors on the ground, and one Beskar Elite severely injured, but still able to fight. At the same time, he noticed how more of his men were dead or dying on the ground. He growled lowly before turning to his men and speaking, voice low and dangerous.
"Vode, these Vong shall pay, and their ship shall be ours. Take their weapons, kill them with their own tools, make them suffer how we do. Destroy them how they plan to destroy us, and leave none alive! For Mortui, to glory and honor!"

They repeated his cry and then they made their way further into the ship, hell bent on killing these vong and taking the world ship. Clan Mortui would murder these vong with their own weapons, they'd make sure that none survived, then they'd go on a crusade against the others, killing them all. United, Clan Mortui went ever deeper into the ship, ever closer to the center, ever closer to their ultimate goal. They suffered losses, took hits that would kill lesser men, and still kept going. Their will was indomitable, their spirit unbreakable, and spirit hellbent on success.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It took hours of fighting, unending fighting for Clan Mortui to finally reach their goal. They finally reached the central chamber, the one where they knew they'd find the enemy leader. Adenn looked around himself then, as they'd fought, they'd been separated and reunited at random, the pressure of gravity constantly increasing. But they'd done it, Adenn and his Beskar Elite, all 20 of them, several were injured, but none were cowed. There were also a few Beskar Warriors, but no 'regular' Mandalorians. At least none that Adenn could see. They'd been separated, being forced to spread out and keep areas secure, lest they be attacked from behind, again and again.

Now though, they were there, the final battle would be soon, and then they'd be able to go home with a new ship in tow, and who new what bio tech. Nodding once, Adenn watched in silence as the explosives expert of the Beskar Elite placed some det charges on the chamber door, then he signaled they were good to go. They all stepped back, taking cover, before a signal came from the explosives expert. Immediately after that came a massive explosion, shrapnel flew, and things from the ship, alongside smoke and ash. Adenn and his men didn't wait for it to settle, instead charging into the central chamber immediately, heads on a swivel, guns up, and shields at the ready. They also had the weapons they'd taken from the dead Vong, weapons that had proven far more capable against the Vong than other weapons, and far sweeter to use.

As they entered the chamber, they all noticed several things. Firstly, the chamber was massive and at its center was a yammosk, secondly that and on the ground were thralls, around 60 of them. Staring in surprise at the sheer size of the leader, Adenn and his men hardly noticed the thralls until they shrieked and charged. Sneering in anger, Adenn sheathed his sword and pulled out his westar carbine before opening fire, his men following shortly thereafter. Some opened fire on the thralls, other such as Adenn fired at the yammosk, intent on killing it quickly. Letting out a war cry, Adenn began advancing towards the yammosk, with half the Beskar Elites following him while the other half fought with the thralls. Their objective was in sight, the final boss was here, and after it was killed, then the ship would be far easier to capture. Letting out another war cry, Adenn let loose 2 rockets towards the yammosk.
"For Mortui, to glory and honor!"

THE GROUND
HILL 42
PROVIDE FIRE SUPPORT
It was his second battle since reforming his kin. Again he was called away for a rotation amongst the fleet. The times he'd been home he'd been farming and fishing. Now he was tagging coordinates from the top of a hill, to keep buglike vong where they belonged.

Dead and in the Ground.

"Contact left! 100 meters!"

Nathan swiveled left, poked his head up over the barricades they'd set in place, and sent a flurry of Verpine rounds into a Vong. Their carpace cracked and caved, flesh shredded by the super sonic slugs tearing into them. They were on the bounce, and this was just a temporary position in the battle field.

"We're about ten clicks south of the main battle area."

Nathan dodged a thud bug, and jacked the spent cartridge free, shimmying another from its grip on his belt.

"Can you make out the friendly positions?"

"Kind of."

"Tell em to turn their IR strobes on. We got the rest."

He turned to his second, Davik and nodded.

"Send it, right on the edge. Don't get too close, we can walk it in from here."

The great thing about having jetpacks was it enabled you to bounce when needed. Add an Mortar system to that squadron, and you had essentially light mobile artillery.

Davik nodded, to his team. They held the tube up, angling it by eye.

"Hang!"

The mortar hung just above the empty but hungry mouth of the tube.

"Drop!"

60mm Mortar shells sailed into the masses of vong near the Naudir Clans position. The explosions that puffed into the air shook them with bass deep in their chest. Nathan watched as bug parts flew to and fro.

"Nice work Vode. Let's get point targeting down though eh? Wouldn't want to blow Vhei and Naudir Clan to bit now, would we?"

Another Vong charged the hill. He shot it in the side of the head.

He wondered what the hell his wife and kids were up to. Before they had Kai and Alina, Alleria would have been right here with him. Now she stayed home at his request. They didn't need to lose both parents. Not until they could join him and his Wife in battle, would he be comfortable bringing her along....

As Thror Joined the fight he felt like his body was getting heavier. The vong must have increased the gravity. As he ran two vong warriors jumped him from above. The first one knocked him to the ground slashing at him with its bone blade. Luckily his armor stopped the blade for cutting his flesh but he still felt the impact. He felt a rib crack. HE quickly activated his armors Triage function the cloth chest immediate tightened up giving his cracked rib support. He then turned toward the vong, the fight that ensued was the most thrilling and frightening of his life. he was finally able to dispatch the two vong. One with his beskad and the other with a blaster blot right in the face.

Taking the tome to look over his injuries he knew the close up fight was out of the question know he was to injured but he still had his T-28 repeating sniper rifle. Time to kill from a distance. He followed the gorup omf mandos and arrived at the center of the world ship. He saw the Vong leader the being was massive. HE knew he vould do much against it so he turned to the thrall the were scattered around the massive chamber. Finding cover he braced his rifle, The years of hunting with his father paid off. Remembering the mantra his father always told him. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast." He began to fire taking own many thralls in a few seconds.

" I hope the others can take down the leader" he thought.

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
Elijah looked at the two frigates, quickly turning to the helm.

"Dive! Dive! Power to engines and shields!" The Keros' Kad listed downward, and punched the engines to full throttle. As the smaller vessel dove out of the rest of Gred Fleed lite up the two Vong frigates. The Nebulan-B2s, the Enigmas, the bounty hunters, the CR90s, and the Storms all opened fire on the pair as the MC30 ran. If Elijah had had tractor beams, he'd have tried to direct them into each other. Eh, at least they'd burn.

As [member="Adenn Kyramud"] reached the chamber where the yammosk was he would start feeling gravity increase as if they where within the pull of a collapsing star the Yammosk's tendrils moved around as a dome of dovin basal's formed a heavy shield around the Yammosk deflecting the bolts sent at it as 4 of its tendrils fired beams of energy at adenn and his warriors as well as sent out telepathic images meant to distract or incite fear or confusion to those that where marching towards it wether it worked or not was not certain but the attempt was made. Anyone else on the field both inside and outside could tell that some of the warriors where less coordinated now that the Yammosks focus was on defending itself more then the battle.

As [member="Nathan Raxis"] bombarded the vong several coral skippers turned and started doing strafing runs at his position more so intent on trying to destroy the mortar emplacements a small horde of about 80 vong/cazrach combination began there charge towards the hill yet again to deal with the Mandalorians there.

[member="Vhei Wasp Naudir"]'s turrets took out a couple of the vong speeders but some kept on her but backed off when she set up her defense emplacement as they regrouped for another attack, The vong began to dig into trenches and start firing there blastbugs at the complex while the Chazrach wild as they are did there suicidal charges in the hopes of some breaking through to get to wasp before she activates the base's power supply.

As [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"]'s flames set off the eels each ones radius was like that of a thermal detonator on high yield making quite the light show and vaporizing a few of the horde that got caught in the blast radius shed notice something much bigger had its eyes on her, one Rakamat let out a loud ground shaking roar before it made its slow march to her, Plasma cannons from its body fired in a hail of bright cyan color'd plasma rained down like a hail storm of flames upon her. It was clear that she earned there full attention and she was getting what she asked for...More blood and carnage as the rakamats basals lifted several rocks and threw them towards her after the plasma set them a blaze like meteors.

As [member="Thror Cal Vorn"] dispatched the vong and began taking sniping positions 2 vong took positions above and began firing upon him to suppress him at the least, to kill him at the most as the Thralls devoid of anything but pain and the urge to kill charged at Adenns forces crazed from the Yammosk's mental abuse and then some the only merciful thing to do to them is a bolt through the head

She held her arms out to the sides laughing victoriously, rocks flying by her face from the explosion so massive and caused a massive casualty on the vongs side. Letting a breath out she felt the shake wave hit her and looked around at the ones around her and hit her chest plate and roared

best you got! Hah! Weak all of you are!

Then something caught her eye, a massive beast roaring at her in challenge, a grin slowly formed on her face as she rolled her shoulders and started walking forward picking her pace up slowly before she was in a ful run towards it. Her demeanor changed from having fun to taking it seriously as she watch the rocks and plasma fly towards her, taking a breath she jumped up and focused on a rock, clearing a decent sized space for her to jump on before leaping off and barely missing a plasma bolt ad she jumped towards another. It was hot! Even for stardust this was taking a lot of concentration.

She grabbed onto a a rock and then hopped to the ground, that wasn't going to be a option with how fast they were moving, so she had to switch gears. Bounding forward and to the side she watch as a meteor came towards her, she reached out with the force to grab it and then stared right into the yes of the beasts as she roared and threw it back before panting and began charging again

THE GROUND
HILL 42
MOVING AWAY
Sometimes life didn't go as planned. This was one of those times. Two of them took a trio of thud bugs to the dome, caving their helmets in, crushing their skulls. The mortar man dropped the tube, just as hot magma bolts from the coral skippers rained down like hell.

"Osik!"

He shoved a dead body off him, taking note of the holotag. They'd have to come back for him later. For now there was no time.

"Vong, charging the hill!"

No plan survived contact with the enemy.

He brushed off molten metal and Corralskipper vomit from his vambrace and grunted. Whipcord was fused to his crushgaunt.

"Fething a!"

Then he stood tall, drew both Westar-34's and let loose a blazing sea of rounds down the hill.

"Grab the remaining tubes. Rally at the next hill, get the hell out, GO GO GO!"

They bailed, Nathan firing off his Jetpack last as the Corral-skippers came back for a second pass a veritably annihilated their position. Nothing was left but slag and glass.

"Keep moving!"

They touched down, and launched off again, covering another several hundred meters. As soon as they touched down Davik slammed the butt of the mortar tube down.

"Reads hill 47. Send em!"

"Hang!"

"Drop!"

Another three rounds sailed into the vong formations.

"Get ready to bounce. They're onto our tricks, " Nathan said, ejecting another spent cartridge. He was getting real low on ammo...

Adenn hardly noticed how Thror came into the central chamber as well, he was far too focused on the yammosk to worry about another Mando. Indeed, he was mainly focused on the yammosk and the Beskar Elites with him, everything else was being blocked out. Even as it felt like he was being crushed, Adenn pushed on with all the determination of a Mandalorian, and the tenacity too. Both would serve him well in the coming battle, for even as the yammosk created a shield for itself and attacked, Adenn charged. He dodged the first shot fired from the beam, while his Beskar Elite did their best to block or dodge the attacks.

At the same time, the warriors who focused on the thralls counter charged, weapons spitting death, voices shouting their hate. The thralls were insane, but they could still damage the Mandalorians. That much was evident as the two groups crashed into one another, even as they cut into one another, firing at short range, scratches turned into cuts as the thralls did their best to breach the void armor. The Beskar Elite cut down around a dozen and a half thralls before the first 2 warriors fell, too injured to move, but still able to fight. They were dragged back, still firing with their weapons.

With Adenn and his warriors the story was different, they had spread out, doing their best to keep the yammosk's focus wandering between targets. They were pouring everything they could into the yammosk, firing continuously, shooting rockets, letting loose fire, anything to weaken and eventually kill the thing. When a moment seemed right, with the yammosk focused on the troops opposite of Adenn, he charged it, replacing his blaster for his sword, and bringing his new amphistaff to bear. Letting out a roar, Adenn threw the amphistaff towards the lower half of the yammosk's body, a rope attached to it so he could pull it back. Once the attack went through, whether to hit the yammosk or bounce off the shield, Adenn immediately would pull it back to himself while continuing his charge.

Letting loose another barrage of blaster shots from his wrist blaster, Adenn let loose a stream of fire. At the same time, 5 Beskar Elites charged the yammosk as well, their vong weapons raised to smash into whatever part of the yammosk they could reach. Though they were up, in the back were 3 Beskar Elite laying wounded on the ground, having been hit one too many times by the lasers from the tentacles. Adenn himself had been grazed, with his armor having a scorch mark across the shoulder pauldron with Clan Mortuis symbol on it, an act that stoked his anger to greater heights.
"For Mortui!" Adenn shouted as he charged.
