The Dragon Lady and Gray

Gray laughed before he said, " Death is a she not a he. And she is just jealous that you got me all to yourself." He kissed her before he got up. He walked over to the counter and leaned against it. He looked at the barkeep as the man had his back turned to his guest. The man finally turned around and Gray said, " I'd like to settle my bill now, and I mean all of it."

The barkeep nodded before he slide a datachip and a bill over to Gray. Gray took both and paid out the credits he owed to the man. He walked back to the table and leaned down to kiss Star on the cheek yet again. He said after, " Let me know when you are ready to go Beautiful. We got what we need."

She smiled"then death must be bi"she said and smiled at his kiss as she looked over at the bar keep"hahah if he doesn't have enough I'll pay as well

She smiled and stood"I'm ready right now!

Gray smiled at Star and kissed her. He said, " Alright Beautiful. Lets get to the ship and go find us that dragon." He helped pull her chair out for her when she went to get up. He picked his helmet up and put it back on. He went to back to his ship.

Gray put the datachip into his datapad when he got back to his ship. He looked at the data on it. He said as he read it, " Alright it looks like the dragon has been sighted at a nearby canyon. It has been spotted there a lot, and from the description it sounds like an older one too. It is big and has a nasty attitude. The local tusken raiders are scared of it too. I hope you were ready for a really tough fight Star, because we are going to get one." He handed the datapad over to Star so she could look at it. He gave the directions to the dragon's location to Key and sat down to wait for them to get there.

She smiled as she stood and grabbed her helmet putting it on"yea hahaha I can't wait


She looked over at him as she sat down"even tuskens scared of it? Well then this sounds like fun...a old one....plenty of stones then "she said as she pulled her sword out to check it

Gray laughed and said, " Yeah, but it will be equally dangerous. If we can survive the hunt it will certainly be a nice pay day though." He looked out the window and watched the rocks and sand fly by as they got close to the canyon. He didn't like the idea of fighting another dragon, even though it was profitable if you could kill the beast. He just hoped it wasn't going to take too long to find the thing. He had heard rumors of how elusive the things were. They might find it right away or they might never find it. It was always a toss up with those kinds of things.

Gray rested a hand on Star's leg and began to rub it. He was feeling nervous and needed to calm down. He always felt calmer when he was in contact with her. It was more than just a force thing as well. It was something deeper.

Should smiled"I know it'll be dangerous and this'll be my first hint of something dangrouss"she said as she smiled and out a hand on his as she sent calming waves to him"nervous much dear? "She said as she smiled and kissed his cheek

Gray smiled to her and said, " Yeah, I am Beautiful. I've already looked into the eyes of one of these beasts and faced it's jaws. It was almost as scary as you when you are angry. I don't really look forward to dealing with it again, even though I will and am about to." He felt calmer now than he had before. Star always made sure to keep him as calm as she could. He didn't know why she did, but figured it had something to do with her not liking it. They had come up to the canyon fairly quickly, and Key set them down at the top of one side of it.

Gray said as they got set down, " Alright, looks like it is time. Ready for this Star? We are about to face a dragon."

She smiled"well I've looked up images of them and I do gotta say they look ferocious "she said and added" however rive been through hell and back a dragon to me is just a long battle"she said and patted his hand

Gray squeezed Star's shoulder before he headed towards outside. It was hot outside, but that was nothing new for this planet. He hated Tatooine. He hated the place so much. It was nothing but sand and heat. The sand got into everything while the heat made things miserable for everyone. It was just a planet designed to torment every living and none living thing. One day it by a sid hopefully be blown up by some kind of super weapon. Maybe one made by a sith.

Gray looked around the canyon to see if he could find any tracks to follow. That proved to be an impossible task as the canyon was solid stone with the wind carrying off any grains of sand away. Even if the sand was able to settle, the wind would not let the track remain. Another reason he hated the planet, it just made everything difficult. He kept looking around until he spotted what looked like a hidden cave entrance. He turned to Star and said, " Looks like there is a cave down there Beautiful. Lets go check it out, but be ready for anything." He readied his rifle and then began to climb down the canyon wall towards the place he had spotted.

She smiled before following as her eyes dimmed to the sudden assault of light...not to mention the heat suddenly just wooshed up and then the sand....she if she had all limbs wouldn't care however she had all cybernetics...and she had to put up with the sand somehow getting into her gears and wiring messing with it all..she hated the sand

Stardust looked around...she didn't know specifically what to look for mostly just caves and tracks if possible... Which the planet proved hard to track when it was windy out"right I got your back"she said and brought her rifle up

Gray chuckled and said, " Got my back or watching my butt? I know which one it would be if you were in front, but then again your rear end is by far the best ever." He eventually found the spot he had located earlier and examined it. It was the mouth of a rather large looking cave that had different layers of rocks almost comply hiding it when looking from above and below. He flipped down his visor on his helmet and turned the night vision on. He readied his rifle with the barrel pointing in front of him. He said, " Well this looks like the cave of a dragon if I saw one. Lets check it out. Be on your guard Beautiful. I'd rather not have you all torn up when we go to bed later. It will interrupt our cuddling." He went into the cave opening slowly, alert to every single sound and movement.

Hahah well both"she said as she sweeped her gun around to check just in case something snuck up on her...which would be nearly impossible, she also set her vision to night vision and looked around the cave"gotcha handsome ain't no dragon gonna manglr my body up"she said with a smile as she slolwh walked

Gray advanced forward through the cave as slowly and quietly as he could. He took in every detail as he went. The cave was large, large enough for an elder dragon. There was a smell of blood, rotting flesh, and stale air that grew the further in they went. The ground was littered in crushed and broken bones. It was very clear that something lived here, something that liked meat. The sounds of their footsteps and clanking of equipment was the only sound that could be heard echoing around the cavern. After several minutes, they eventually saw the end of the cave. There was no sign of anything currently occupying the space inside.

Gray said after he looked around the end of the place, " It looks like it does live here, but it is likely out hunting right now. It might be best if we get back out into the canyon and ambush it when it comes back. We are going to be at a disadvantage if we fight it in this cave. What do you think or do you have a better plan? I'm up for suggestions Beautiful."

She looked around the place smelling blood and just feeling the air of death this place had...the bones must've been whatever it could catch or some unlucky person"

Right I could set up a sniper position and would it"she said as she headed towards the entrance"rather have the advantage then disadvantage

Gray said as he began to head for the exit, " That sounds like a good idea. It can be killed if we hit a sinus cavity in its mouth. Instantly kills it from damaging the brain." He heard a sound coming from outside the cave as he headed towards the exit. He stopped in his tracks and dropped low to the ground. He said in a low voice just loud enough for Star to hear him, " Did you hear that just now? I don't like thi-"

Gray was suddenly cut off as a creature of scales and fury burst forth from the cavern opening. It roared at them in a terror inducing wave of primal instinct. As the beast did, a bantha it had killed and was bringing back fell to the ground. It attempted to charge the two of them, but had some trouble getting over the rocks at the entrance.

She smiled*so basically out something in its mouth and throw a det in rigt right "she stopped and got low to the ground as she looked to the entrance" I got a bad feeling abo-

She watched dit burst in and roar at her...aat first star had a face of pure terror before she slowly grinned madly as she drew her sword and hefted her blaster in one hand"hahahha is that a challenge dragon! Have at the!"she said and started unloading her blaster at its face and mouth area"

Gray began to unload on the beast as it burst into the cave. Both his shots and the shots from Star's blaster just didn't seem to do any damage. It was unlikely that they even left a scratch on this armored creature. It tripped on its way in and hit the ground with a thud. It began to get back to it's feet as Gray tried to replace the clip on his rifle.

Gray noticed the opening and said, " Star, get to the opening. If we get it corralled inside of the cave we might be able to kill it as it tries to exit. Also I'm going to try to shoot some grenades into it's mouth. Maybe we will luck out and it will kill over." He got the new clip completely loaded in. He began to load a frag grenade from his ammo belt into the rifle as he rushed for the cave opening. As he got close to the dragon, it hit him and knocked him back into one of the walls. As Gray hit the stone, he heard a cracking sound and all the air being forced out of his lungs. He hit the ground after and just laid there. He had gotten knocked out from the impact.

Stardust watched as rounds hit and some reflected "hahah well darn a tough one hub

She looked at him and nodded" OK I got it"she said and reloaded quickly as she started firing again...then she watched grau get launched and heard a cracking sound before watching him fall and not move.....star twitched before the air began to heat up...even hotter then it was before"so you wanna awaken the dragon do ya"she said as her eyes gave a green glow"then lets dance "she said and put her blaster to the ground drawing her sword in which as it came out was covered in green fire..." Lets go just me and you"she said and crouched before charging it with a roar of her own using the force to cause her to zip under and drag her sword against its belly

Gray was aware of nothing but darkness as he lay there on the ground. He had begun to slowly regain awareness of what was going on, but it was going to take some time before he could do anything.

The dragon roared out in pain as the blades dug into its belly. It arched back and grabbed the ceiling with its front claws. It pulled itself up and took a swipe at her with it's tail from above her. It crawled around a bit before it began to slash and bite at her from on high. It was full of primal rage as it went to exact revenge upon the green skinned beauty.

Gray coughed out some blood into his helmet before he began to moan. He was still not aware of things outside of his body, but he was extremely aware of the pain coursing through his body like a swarm of insects eating their way all over his body.

Stardust smiled seeing she caused it pain , she watches it and jumped over it as she let a burts of green fire hit its tail and ignite it "stupid beast thinking your a real dragon" she blocked the slashes and dyg in as she jumped back inhaled and then shot fire straight at its mouth while it was open "hahahahag
