The Dragon Lady and Gray

The dragon swung its tail around for a moment and the fire went out. The fire didn't seem to have much effect on it's hard scales. It roared at Star once again as she shot fire directly into its mouth. The fire had an effect this time around. The dragon shook its head and roared once again in pain. It took a few more swipes at Star before it suddenly hit the ceiling of the with its tail. The force of the impact seemed to shake everything and knocked several stones down from the ceiling. It kept it up and caused even more stones of varying sizes ranging from the size of a training probe to the size of boulders to hail from above. The dragon eventually lost its grip from all of the impact and fell on its back. It quickly twisted itself around and got back onto its feet.

Gray began to get pelted by rocks as the entire cave shook. The pain from it hitting his battered body caused him to completely come back to his senses. He coughed up some more blood into his helmet as he got up to a seated position. He held his head with one hand while he used the other for extra balance. He looked around to get an idea of what was going on.

Stardust laughed watching the fire go out and even louder as it roared in pain"I GUESS YOU SHOULDNT EAT FIRE HUH?"she yelled at it, she jumped a few more then was hit by the last as she flipped in the air and hit a wall gasping as her breath was lost as she gasped to get it back"feth!"she yelled and stood quickly running through the hell of rocks and held her hands up as she stopped the rocks from hitting him as she poured all her strength into it"you with me gray please tell me your with me"she said with oddly calm voice as she looked to the dragon"how about this!"she screamed and let lightning out from her hands to infuse into the rocks before throwing them

Gray was breathing heavily as he staid sat down. His body was aching terribly. He said after awhile, " I'm alive.... For now at least. We... you need to kill that thing as soon as you can. I'm not sure what I can do help right now." He was serious. He didn't think he could help in his current condition. He was barely able to sit up right now.

The dragon roared in pain as the rocks pelted it. It turned to keep the stones from hitting it's head, and took most of them to its left front leg. It roared in outrage as it turned back around and charged towards Star. It was unable to put much weight onto its front left leg that had taken the damage from the stones. As it came, it fell to the ground shortly. It started to lift itself back up as quickly as it could to make another charge at them.

She smiled seeing it had done damage and held her hands out as she started shaking... She was spilling the thing to the ground with the force...something that as taking a great deal of strength "you...are...defeated..dragon...give...up" she said as she motioned slowly to the ground with one hand and the other went to start prying open its mouth"gray..I know you can't move..but of ya can...shoot for the mouth with your grenade once I open it "she said panting..this amount of work using the force was actually difficult for her

The dragon fought back again the power of her will working against it. The combination of her mastery of the ability and it's damaged leg left it moving at a fast crawl. It could feel its mouth being pried open by the same force working against it's advance and did everything in it's power to fight back against it as well. It could not keep it's mouth from being opened partially up however, which caused it to roar out in even more rage than it had before. It defied Star and was determined to make a meal of the green skinned beauty. It had gotten close to the two as it continued on it's march for revenge.

Gray just nodded as Star spoke. He reached for his rifle with his free hand and fell backwards as he moved his bracing hand to hold the rifle up. He aimed at it quickly as it roared at them from only a few feet away. He launched the grenade into its mouth and immediately went to get another off of his ammo belt. As he pulled the new one out, the first grenade exploded inside of the beasts mouth. Its roar shifted from one of rage to one of intense pain as Gray loaded the second grenade. He aimed quickly once more and launched in the second one. He dropped the rifle as he lost the energy he had left in him to fight back as another explosion went off in the beast's wounded jaws. It dropped to the ground no longer able to fight back. The beast went silent as the light of life began to fade from it's eyes. A large pool of blood formed under the dying beasts jaws as it bled out the last chance it had to live.

Gray just laid looking up at the ceiling. He said a few moments after everything went silent, " Is it dead? Did we kill it?"

She closed her eyes as she willed the force through her body and roared herself at the dragon as her arms shook and wobbled"just freaking die!

She yelled and watched as [member="Gray Raxis"] shot one grenade and felt the dragon weaken as she used that to open its mouth as the other went off...stardust let it go and apnted falling to her knees..they had done it..they had defeated the dragon...stardust stood and walked over to the dragon careful as she held a hand out and put it to the beast neck as she panted"you...gave me a chance to fully know my ability "she said and coughed" you will be remembered as a great fight me for"she said and stepped back before falling on her rear and panted"yea...yea its dead"she said and started looking for the stones "where are the stones" she said

Gray smiled and felt himself relax. He said, " Stones? What stones are you looking for?" He just laid there on the cold cave floor as the smell of the dragon's blood began to overwhelm the other smells. He added after a moment, " The pearls are inside of it. We have to cut them out. Your saber should make that fairly easy. I suggest resting before you do. I heard you fall back. I recognize every sound that your ass makes when it gets hit. Course I'm almost always the cause of it so...."

Gray coughed up some more blood into his helmet. He got a little scared that he might be worse off than he originally imagined. He just kept quiet. The last thing he wanted to do was worry her when she was so worn out.

She panted as she slowly got up and looked at the dragkn"right "she picked her saver up walking over" I'll be fine gray...I just had to get my breath "she said and walked over to the beast as she activated her saber


She stabbed into it and then started pulling along its belly as she watched six orbs roll out and stop amongst the innards and such...she moved the orbs into her bag and then looked to gray as she picked him up and put him over her back" lets go..we'll come back for the hide"she said as she slowly walked out of the cave and turned to bring the rocks down and cover it


She wanted and walked slowly into the ship and laid him down on the medbed as she fell into the seat by it"key...get us to the nearest town now

Gray didn't even try to complain as Star picked him up. He didn't think he could walk right now as bad as his chest was feeling. A bit of blood dripped down from his helmet onto her armor, splattering it with crimson drops. He watched as she closed up the cave entrance and then got them back to the ship. He hated it the whole time. He should have been the one carrying her not the other way around. She was exhausted from everything, he could feel it and see it both. He was going to have to make up for this mistake somehow.

Gray groaned in pain as she laid him onto the medical table. He just laid there as he focused on the pain in his torso. Broken ribs, bruising, blunt trauma, and internal bleeding were what he figured was going on. It would explain the coughed up blood. He said as he laid there breathing heavily, " So Beautiful, what now? Going to have our after victory celebration like when you invited me to your cottage after Dagaboh?" He tried to chuckle, but ended up coughing. He couldn't say if he had more blood come up or not.

Key followed Star's orders and got the ship started. The little droid got them started towards the nearest town with a medical center.

She didn't even notice his blood on her armor till she sat down and looked at herself...she was covered in the dragons blood and and now mostly grays..she laid her head back as she could tell she had over clocked her self..

Don't think of that right now you've got internal bleeding ribs broken and several other things"she said and got a bacta needle and took his armor off and injected it into his ribs...after which she got a IV drip into him to hopefully get the internal bleeding down"

She then sat down again and realized her arms were having trouble moving...she may of burnt some Circuits out

Gray winced as the needle went into his body. He could feel it going to work on his injuries as well as the fluid from the IV coursing through his veins. He just laid there as all of the medicine did its job. He looked over at Star and noticed her arms. He went to reach out and touch her hand. He smiled and said, " Didn't we bring r8 with us? Maybe they can do something about that damage Beautiful. I'd take a look but I'm no mechanic....Although I should learn for times like these." He laid there and just kept smiling at her. His hand never leaving her hand despite the extra amount of pain it put him in.

She looked at him and curled her hand around his"I did bring him however right now I need to look after you"she said and smiled

Gray smiled up at her and said, " Well then have him come in here and work on your arms while you keep an eye on me. Problem solved, right Beautiful?" He curled his hands with her hands as well. He was still in pain as he held his arm out. He was not about to stop because she meant far more to him than a little comfort. He sent his love her way as he laid there still feeling the bacta working.

She smiled and called in r8" he's on his way now dear can I get you anything can you drink anything?"she said as r8 came in complaining about how she shouldn't of pushed herself blah blah something about a couple minutes"yea yea yea just get it fixed OK 8?"she said smiling as he started doing his work

Gray squeezed her hand with a smile as he said, " Just having you here holding my hand and talking to me is enough Beautiful. You are more than enough of a drink for me, because you are such a tall glass of water." He smirked a bit and began to chuckle. As he started to, he suddenly coughed and a few spots of blood came with it. It was a sign that he was still badly injured, but the treatment was working.

She kept a hold of his hand and smiled as r8 rolled over to her other arm and began working scolding her"yea well you use the force and say it shouldn't do that"r8 gave her a shook to the nerves to which he promptly got smacked before he sorta made a beeping laugh before continwing as she shook her head"silly droid.."she smiled at him"thank you handsome..key how far away are we

Gray just smiled up at Star. He said, " Hey Beautiful. If something ever happens to me, I want you to have Key and my stuff. The ship can go to Jack, it did belong to his mom after all. My credits, as little as I have, please put in an account for your kid. I should probably make an official deed some time." He gave her hand a squeeze. He didn't think he was going to die here, considering how fast the emergency treatment had been, but he wanted to make sure she knew before something did happen to him. After a short delay Key beeped back to Star that they were almost there. The droid sounded very happy about this fact.

She patted his arm"don't worry dear...you ain't dying at all ha-ha not anytime soon"she said smiling at him "alright key contact them tell them we need a gurgy
