[SIZE=9pt]Fiore cursed under her breath as she rolled her eyes watching another protect the Jedi she was trying to take out. He had several trained body guards and this surprised Fiore seeing that they were able to block the shatter rifle’s ammunition, being so small that is. Though, she drew some blood. A heavy sigh and she continued to feed information back towards Cardinam and the others. Right now, she was their eyes. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Her focus was broken by the orders she was given over the comms. His words filled her ears and they moved back as if she was a docile dog listening to her master. A frown appeared on the Eldorai’s face as she nodded. Elf, such an odd nickname he gave her, thought it was better than ears or something. She moved while giving a signal to the fireteam that had nestled with her. They were armed with basic solider equipment and they continued as she found another sniper nest. As Cardinam opened fire, several blasters also followed in suit showering the Jedi in the area with fire. Their focus was on the Jedi leaving Cardinam and his droids to move on the offensive. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Fiore on the other hand, remained hidden. Once more she aimed down the sights of her Verpine Sniper Rifle. Once again, she aimed at the Jedi that seemed to get away from her. Remembering his savior that stood near him the last she noticed and was bleeding from her last attack. He wasn’t on the list and she wasn’t planning on killing him, but if he was going to interfere – he had become a target. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Two shots fired aiming towards the savior Jedi’s head and neck. With quick adjustment she shot another three shots towards [member="Coren Starchaser"] again, aiming for his neck, upper body and head. There was more going on now with the storm, Cardinam, the cover fire and kamikaze droids. Hopefully this pickle gave her and her rifle an upper hand. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]The Assassin was growing tired of the Jedi and his luck. [/SIZE]

It wasn't hard to find Coren - not really, and MIshel shouldn't have been surprised to find him in the heart of it all. The oncoming storm, the way the clouds spoke - she could feel the Sith on Azure. Non-combatants were being moved to shuttles, at least her Master still remember there were innocent lives here at stake. Earth was tossed on either side of her as the battle raged. Civilians fled, while the Mandalorians fought and the Silvers dove into the fight with the support of the Confederacy.

Dismounting the transport, Mishel's boots hit the ground as she crossed the base heading directly for Coren. Dust and dirt kicked up in her wake and the rhythm of battle flowed around her. It came naturally to her kind [member="Taeli Raaf"] and [member="Darth Carnifex"] mentioned in the time she had been kept by them. As she drew closer to her master she saw what most wouldn't be able to - the speeding slugs. Mishel reached out with her hand using telekinesis to pull them down to the ground before they could reach their target.

The storm above was more than noticeable, every arc - every bolt of lightning that ripped across the sky above. "Someone really wants you dead," she quipped while finally coming to stand side by side with Coren. The Jedi Sentinels that were there - were few in number, but that was enough, more than enough. The battle was beyond chaotic between the droids, the storm, and valor - the screaming civilians caught up in the crossfire. The Silvers who went on the offensive, "Ashira guide me, may my attacks be swift and my aim be true. Blessed are those who follow your word Holy Mother." A quick prayer from the Tygaran as she moved into action creating Force Barriers, and on occasion shield to help ferry civilians.

The darkened storm clouds and their origins were more than enough room for pause. A pause that neither Mishel nor the Jedi here could afford, every moment counted - every life mattered. It was probably then that Mishel could finally realize exactly what her biological mother meant when she said that both Sith and Jedi were useless.

Well, one of her biological mothers, at least.

Mishel was neither Sith, nor a Jedi.

She could finally say that now and be okay with that. She didn't need to be one or the other, by this point neither were philosophies that she could ascribe to or ever be part of for one reason or another. Coren would say otherwise, but then he had done a lot for the light - Mishel could not say the same. Abomination, clone, wandering Force User without a cause. A fluke of the Force - Mishel came from a powerful bloodline and a powerful Force User. Although the accomplishments of one were without such notary as a bloodline.

There was a respect there that Mishel held now.

All of it collected into her mind and she tugged at those lines pulling the Force toward her.

Raising the barrier, strengthening her shield, "whatever it is you're going to do, do it now." Mishel mentioned to both Coren and the other Jedi. "I'm not holding this shield for long."

It was hard work trying to keep Asaraa's body from failing, it was beyond the point of exhaustion and from what Kat could tell there was serious harm done. She was doing her best to keep the Force repairing and mending the body, she could tell that Caedyn was attempting to help lift the burden and bring her back from wherever Asaraa was. It was draining Kat though, she was a Padawan, and a less than average healer most days, this was well above her skill levels but she just had to look at her friend's face, see the pain and the blood, it strengthened Kat's resolve. She was not losing a person this time. She was not going to lose her friend! Kat inhaled deeply and remained strong, ignoring the blinding migraine that she was getting, it didn't matter, all that mattered was ensuring that Asaraa was kept alive and safe. She couldn't lose a friend, she couldn't watch someone she cared about die. Not again. Never again. Kat couldn't do it.

Not after Eshan. Not after Taanab.

Unfortunately, things went downhill, it seemed like Asaraa was ready to die. She had done the best that she could and now was willing to accept the consequences of pushing herself that hard to do the job. But Kat wasn't ready to give up, Kat wasn't going to let her friend pass. "No! Not today, you do not die today Asaraa!" Tears welled in Kat's eyes as she looked down at Asaraa and poured more of the Force into keeping Asaraa's heart beating and her body breathing. Keep the life inside the body, show Asaraa that there was more to live for and that she didn't have to die this day. "Come on! Live, I can't lose another friend!" Kat growled, blood dripped slowly from her nose onto her trousers, but she didn't care. She could keep going, it wasn't a serious nosebleed yet and she wasn't feeling completely exhausted from the healing. All Kat needed was a sign. A sign that her friend was going to live and not becoming one with the Force, Kat needed Asaraa as her friend. She didn't have many others bar Asaraa.

Suddenly, there was a flicker of hope when Asa opened her eyes and while she didn't look was perky as she normally did. Kat took any signs of life as a good one. However, as quickly as that moment happened, it ended and Asaraa went unconscious. Kat checked her vitals, they were weak but also steady. It was time to get the kark out of the Mando ship. Kat had enough. "Get Asaraa on the stretcher, contact SJO and tell them that we need healers ready when we arrive. She's not fully out of the woods but she isn't dying today." Kat ordered the soldiers as she looked to Caedyn, "Asaraa's going to make it, I swear. I could feel her heartbeat, she was breathing. It seemed she was stable." Hopefully that would help her friend's boyfriend, Kat then rose to her feet and watched the room spin before falling onto her arse. She looked down, blood had covered her top, seemed she pushed herself more than she realised. Leaning over to the side, Kat puked, she could now feel the exhaustion of her body and how hard she had pushed herself as a Padawan, it was not a healthy thing and something Kat needed to be more aware of.

Kat pushed the guys offering a stretcher and assistance. She could walk herself, she wasn't that bad. Just needed a new top, trousers and something to kick the migraine and settle her stomach. Looking over to Caedyn, "lets get out of here. Where's a ship to take us out?"

As they walked through the maelstrom, Lucera kept pace with Veiere every step of the way. When he was forced to stop, she stopped; when he moved, she moved. Concern for the Master's well being grew with every step. It pained her to watch the toll it took on his body to sustain the shield around them. Let me take this burden, she wanted to cry before the storm tore him apart just as surely as it did the world around them. However, she kept such thoughts to herself. This was the path they walked through the night, and the sacrifice made to pierce the dark veil. Veiere was strong with the Force, and it would protect him.

"I am with you, Master," Lucera shouted back, her eyes on him and not the chaos all around them. They'd come too far to turn back now.

Peace. Her feet were anchored to the ground as the barrier fell and the wind slammed into them. The howling wind and debris churned against them.

Serenity. There was no regret in this path they walked. No expectation they would return the way they'd come. Acceptance this was the Will of the Force, and this Storm held no power over her.

Harmony. Lucera's hands joined Veiere's as they gazed into the heart of the storm and drew upon every ounce of the Force's Light. Together they would return the world and its people back to the warm embrace of the Force, and be rid of this raging tempest. Her unnatural luminescent eyes shone up into the sky reflecting the pure Light that swept up into the pitch black, swirling mass. What happened to their bodies no longer mattered. They would break through. The winds would calm, the screams of thunder would cease, and the clouds would lighten and fade away to reveal the resplendent sun once more. That was what she foresaw, and that was what they would accomplish here and now. Everything. Every hope, every dream, every thought went to putting the Storm to rest.

Laandur huffed a bit as his target moved, but then spoke up. The man mentioned the civillians, and noted that the storm above was of the Dark Side. That it would destroy everything. Laandur dropped his guard slightly and retracting the Stun Baton. He then looked out, sighing a bit.

"No.... We never wanted this...." He looked up again, bringing a hand into a fist before walking closer to Jerek, retracting the vibroblade in the process. He looked out at the shield and plants that had begun to guard everyone. He then looked back at the Jedi. "So, do you have a plan, Jetii?"

OOC Note: I'm pulling out. Good game, guys!

Ah, and there it was.

He knew this moment had been coming for awhile now. He had tried to hold on for as long as possible, through sheer will, the aid of [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] and [member="Coren Starchaser"] on top of sheet stubborn determination. But all good things had to come to an end. And every story had its ending.

He was... Tired. He knew that at any moment, his body would give out, and that would be it. He didn't know if he would survive, but all he could think about was the fact that he had failed. He wanted to keep going, holding out hope that he would be able to ride out this storm for a bit longer and save more people. Much of the evacuations were finished at least... Yet he couldn't stop that feeling of failure that welled up inside. He kept feeling as though he could have saved more.

But he could feel something... Some sort of power pulsing in the light side. And deep down he knew what it was for. Finally, something to bring an end to this hell. He wished he could hold on long enough to make sure that it was done successfully, but... He knew that he was spent. He knew that his body couldn't hold out any longer. He had held on to his absolute last, and there was a good chance his body wouldn't survive what came next. But he knew he couldn't have regrets... He had done all he could. All any Jedi could. And for that, he was happy. Happier still that more would survive now that he had given them time to make this work. He just hoped they could pull this off in time...

Finally, his arms began to fall, but instead of a cry, he let out a small breath. From the corner of his mouth came a small smile. For he knew those such as [member="Veiere Arenais"] working tirelessly to finish what he had started and do as the Jedi were duty-bound to do... He knew they could do it.

"It's your turn now."

And with that, the barrier fell. And so did the Jedi Master. All around him, things began to go dark as he fell... And that smile never left. For what happened today... Meant blue skies for many people on the 'morrow.

Romi's face screwed up with incredulity.

Darth Prazutis said:
"I was wondering when you would show up....Romi." The Shadow Hand said, turning in her direction. He thrusted a hand forward and unleashed a blast of pure dark side energy towards her.

The blond woman staggered back, but dropped, rolled with an acrobat's skill -- she dove into a forward roll to avoid the forthcoming attack. She fetched up safely against the bulky side of a tropical tree.

Mara spun about to face the Sith Lord, turning her pistol on him. Romi wasn't even thinking when she aimed the blaster; A puff of white vapor burst from the tree trunk behind his shoulder. "All men wonder when i'll show up..." She casually tilted her head, "I won't miss next time..."

Digging her heel into the surface, she pushed herself up and holstered her blaster before yanking her lightsaber hilt from her utility belt. "I promise." she backed her earlier statement up.

Her aura reached out to clash with his own rivaling darkness. Settling into the ebb and flow of the force, she drums up a static swell of metaphysical power that rose and clutched the surface of her person. It would caress her astute frame and end at the tip of her saber, this all before she loosened her grip on its familiar embrace. She steadied her senses....

The loose earth around the two Masters rippled away from them in all directions as the share presence of the force conjured up between them cast everything else aside within their immediate proximity, the shear velocity of the storm continuing to attack them both, razor-like winds tearing at anything not strapped down by armor whilst [member="Lucera Maive"] and Veiere gave everything they both had into defying the summoning of [member="Darth Prazutis"], the maelstrom of dark-side energy corrupting the very natural atmosphere of Azure in what had produced the Force Storm now reigning havoc down upon all peoples regardless of their affiliations or chosen sides in the battle. Having been required to protect them both, in order to reach the center of the torrential darkness, Veiere's strength was already waning and the affects were becoming of physical detriment as he refused to submit to his sentient limits.

'The Force knows no bounds, and is hindered not by the limitations of the physical Worlds'.
The Light of the Force had engulfed them both, what visibly seemed like a particle beam being fired up into the heavens, gradually began to slowly dissipate the dark clouds that had blocked out the sun of Azure, yet by this point Veiere found his conscious slipping. His eyes were falling heavy and his body becoming numb. 'It's too soon...', he wasn't ready to give up yet his body seemed to have other idea's. His head felt as though he were being pushed down, his arms straining to resist the cries of his body as the ache's inflamed into stabbing pains in his chest and shoulders, his legs threatening to buckle under the strength of darkness battling against them.

Whether it was out of desperation or stubborn refusal not to give him, his state of mind and connection to the Force slipped away from the present, into a form of stasis where he could feel each and every living, breathing soul around them. The Silver Forces were far away, and yet Veiere could almost reach out with his presence, feeling as though he could psychically touch take hold of them. 'Coren...-It's not enough' he called to his friend in the force, almost able to picture [member="Coren Starchaser"] as though his brother was standing side by side with him, 'I don't think I've got much left in me..'.

The words were almost identical to the discussion they had shared within the Force Praxeum where Coren's plans for the Jedi Alliance were still but a dream, before he and Veiere, alongside numerous other beacons and figureheads of the light had bound together to create the Council of Council's. The heart of the Jedi Order to date, regardless of temple or organization, of their differences, united together in the desire of peace and prosperity for the Galaxies future, to stand firm against the Dark-Side of the Force and those consumed by it.

Lucera could feel the Force flowing through her. In that cavern she had felt it lance through her; a lightning bolt that had left her connection with the Living Force permanently forced open just a hair. It seeped through her eyes. She could hear the cries of those that had not fully become one with it in their passing, or of the creatures that manifested from its Will. In that moment, body wracked with unspeakable pain, a single moment in time stretched to an eternity, it had all become so clear. And now, as she stood upon Azure, opened to allowing the Force to work through her she could feel it once more. It was too great for any one person to handle. The Force was all. It was everywhere and everything. An unlimited source of power and life. A power so terrifying in its humility -- an unassuming existence of creation -- Lucera could feel herself drown in it.

If she could but hold on to the one thought -- to conjure a shining beacon of pure Light into the vortex above -- it would be enough. All had begun to fade from her thought; the torrent of wind that tried to cast them aside, the particulate that ground against their flesh, and the earth trembled as if to shake them free of the planet itself. Even her concern for Master Veiere had become washed out in the Light. A warm embrace that consumed all, and gave all. Pour it into the endless dark. Banish it back into the void where it best belong. Spare the people from its wrath.

The voices of hundreds or thousands seemed to come from all around them. Faint. Distant. Yet Lucera could hear them over the raging Storm above. Yes, the life of this world and the world itself. All those knowingly or not in need. Your home stands, was her thought. Or the thought of another. Perhaps of the Force. The Self had nearly passed beyond the veil as she pushed the Light deep into every recess of darkness that lurked overhead. They would end this. They would end this, and the Light would make itself known to all present and that it would not be crushed by any storm.

It had taken a great deal of convincing to get Eenia to come along for this excursion. She had wanted no part of it, for a plethora of reasons, and yet here she was. An attack of any kind had come as no surprise to Eenia, though that was mostly because she had become quite the pessimist as of late. Still, that didn’t make it settle any easier on her stomach, especially not once healing skills were needed.

Admittedly, the young blonde was still learning and there were plenty of things she still struggled with when it came to the healing techniques. But what better way was there for her to gain experience than for it to be directly hands on? Not that, that made her feel any more confident or comfortable with the situation. Nia was by no means a proper healer yet, but when situations became dire? Healing hands were healing hands.

The work kept Eenia’s hands busy, but more than that? It kept her mind busy. Her thoughts were not scattered, her head was not filled with dark ideals. No, her focus was in the here and now, in the moment where she was needed. It was a hell of a thing, considering how rough her path had become and how far she had strayed from her original one. The fact that she could focus like this was a huge leap in the right direction.

But having a clearer mind also left her open to others around her, or rather those who had any impact at all in her life these days. She had of course been informed of the situation as they had moved to evacuate as many people as they possibly could, but it wasn’t until the most prominent presence in her life as of lately flickered that the young woman’s attention shifted to what was really going on. Nia stilled, enough so that even her breath caught in her throat as she waited to feel that presence spark again. It was just some trick, right? A rouse her Master had concocted to fool his opponents and get the upper hand.

Nothing changed, and eventually Eenia had to take a breath before her lungs gave out. Before she knew it, she was moving against orders, ignoring calls of her name to get back to where it was safe – or at least safer. It didn’t take her long to find her way to where she apparently needed to be, however when her eyes cast over the frame of the fallen [member="Josh Dragonsflame"], Nia felt her stomach twist into knots. That didn’t stop her from approaching, though she was careful to keep her senses as open as she dared. The last thing she needed was something or someone unsavory coming along and putting a wrench into this already very bad situation.

She didn’t touch Josh once close enough, though she did kneel and reach a shaky hand out to ghost it over her Master’s frame. All at once all of the bad things she had been doing so well to repress threatened to reach out and swallow her whole. To have yet another person in her life be snuffed out? Another person to just up and disappear? She couldn’t handle it, and for a moment she felt all of that weight, all of that anger and despair well up inside of her all over again. But her fingers curled tightly into a fist, and her expression hardened as her teeth grit.

Slowly the blonde took a deep, steadying breath and she let it out in a shaky exhale as her fingers uncurled. Eenia made herself focus on the now, on what she needed to be doing, and she stood with her hand still extended over the fallen Master. She knew there was no way she could – or should for that matter – lift his frame on her own, and as such she used the Force to heft him up. It was slow, and as careful as she could possibly be, but once she had him up off of the ground, Nia used her hold on Josh to move him back to the evac ship she had been on when all of this started.

It wasn’t the smoothest of transitions considering her haste to get him onto the ship, but it was the best Nia could do on her own. And once she had him on board, it was just a matter of getting him some place where she could make room and get some healers involved who knew what the hell they were doing far better than she herself did.

There was more than this FOB that was concerning Coren. He could feel it in the Force. That overwhelming darkness. That power of the Sith, the one coming for the planet. The call had gone to the Antarian Rangers at the FOB, and the droids sent over from the Jedi [member="Celiana"] to help evacuate the civilians and living beings they could. Get them to ships and get them off the world. Munitions could be replaced, but the living? That was not something he was going to run the risk of losing. This, the Sith move, was bigger than the war of the Jedi and Mandalorians.

He was working on keeping himself alive, and the FOB stable, but he could feel the Force and the losses, the control being tossed, from [member="Josh Dragonsflame"] and [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] and it was not good. The Order of the Silver Jedi were all wonderful Jedi, but there was a finesse that one gained when fighting the Sith, and for most, it was a muscle and a feeling Coren was glad that they didn’t know. It meant they kept away from the war.

But now? No, now they needed someone who could handle it. Deflecting bolts and hurling debris at the droids that were incoming, and to snipers. Alliance Pathfinders were moving towards the nests that they had identified, but it was not fast enough. As his focus was veering more towards the incoming storm, but what he hadn’t seen were the shots coming back for him. But he also didn’t see the arrival of [member="Mishel Kryze"] in the Force. When she landed and took the blast away from him, he had a second to look.

It had been too long since they had seen each other. He knew he had to answer for things, but she had been running with the Confederacy, and was married to a Mandalorian. He was going to blame much of it on the fact that she was her own woman, but there was still that nagging feeling. “Well… they tend to find me.” He muttered as he extinguished his blade. This was not going to be a fun conversation to be had, but first…

He could feel and hear @Veirere Arenais in the Force, calling for aid, and Starchaser nodded. “Cover me.” He said to Mishel and the other Jedi, who moved into positions. Reaching out in the Force, he was tired, but he knew he could gain some assistance from the pair of counselors. The Jedi could lend him healing and revitalizing energies as he fell into the Force, on his knees, hands at his side.

The Force surrounded him, and soon it began to glow, and electromagnetic and thermal swirl of colors and power. He was reaching out to Arenais, to [member="Romi Jade"], to Vaashe and Dragonsflame, to Kryze. He could feel Celiana and [member="Lucera Maive"], and the Jedi of the Fleet.

You are not alone, Veiere. And the man wasn’t.

Jedi are never alone, with the Force.

A deep breath and the Force would burn brighter.

This was not their world, but the Sith did not have any respect for life.

We will protect the lives here, and we will throw the Sith back.

The Jedi was connecting those that would lend their power, but then he was focusing, precise and accurate, on the core of the storm, on [member="Darth Prazutis"]. Until that time, the Force was going to protect as much of Azure with the Light side as possible. Darkness of this magnitude was unnatural.

The war in the background, of Beskar and Lightsabers, fell to the wayside, as the war of good versus evil, the war for life became the focus.

Moving towards those of the Antarian Rangers still with them, Caedyn sought the closed of them and asked for their comm's dialing in on the Silver Fleets ([member="Gir Quee"]) command frequency; "This is Caedyn Arenais currently on the Terror-Australis! Requesting immediate transit to the Silver Fleet. We've got injured, and the Battle-Cruiser's not looking good. Repeat, requesting immediate evac and return to friendly station!".

Turning to look back over his shoulder to Kat, Caedyn soon wondered about the rest of the boarding party. "What about the others?" he asked, not having arrived with the leading soldiers and Raider unit. Where was @Amon Viszla and his people. Could they manage to get out before the fleet would finally break the Australis in half?

Cuddles reluctantly let Nicair close to Azure, and let out a low growl as a warning. Azure, at this point, could feel herself slipping. Black began fading into the edges of her vision, her skin somehow looking even paler, as though she was dying. Lailya squeezed Azure's hand, just as Nicair grabbed onto the witch's ankle to use himself as a battery to fuel her spell. For a short time, the plants surged forth to guard those beneath them. Those within the forests would be in utter darkness, as branches and leaves weaved together to make a natural shield, while those further away from any foliage would only be protected by the Force Barrier. Azure wearily looked down at Nicair, and nodded her thanks.

"Thank you, vod. I surely would have passed out or died had you not lent me your assistance. Wait, what's that over there?" Azure turned her head forward, to a collapsed building. It looked like... A person? Azure squinted, trying to see if her eyes were fooling her, until Lailya cried out.

"Daddy!"

Kark.

Azure dismounted from Cuddles, and gently handed Lailya over to Nicair.

"I'm gonna go check on that building, okay Lailya? We don't know if that's even a person right now, we're too far away. Stay with him, okay?"

"Okay..."

Azure smiled, and squeezed the girl's hand, receiving a squeeze in return. The witch placated Cuddles, to make sure the Rancor shielded the two from any stray blaster bolts, before running over to the collapsed building. What she saw was horrible, and nearly caused her to let out a sob. A blond man lay on the ground, crushed under debris of the collapsed building. Azure could not see the lower half of his body, but the pool of blood underneath him told Azure all she needed to know. This man was beyond saving, even with the Force. Not on a battlefield.

As Azure stepped closer, the man lifted his head, just enough to look at her. He had green eyes, that were surly full of life once, but were now fading. Azure knelt by his side, and gently pushed him back down. Despite the scenario, he was smiling, smiling at Azure, even as the witch felt hot tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Miss... That girl... Lailya... My daughter... Is she... ?"

"Yes... She is. She's safe, and we'll be leaving soon... I-"

"I want to speak to her... one last time. Please, miss, I have... I have to tell her I love her."

"I- ... I'll cover her eyes... She can't see you like this... She's too young for such a burden."

"Thank you, Miss." Azure choked back a sob as she stood, dress skirt now soaked with the blood of Lailya's father. She ripped part of her sleeve off, wide enough to cover the poor girl's eyes as they walked over. As Azure walked back to Nicair and Lailya, her cheeks were now soaked in tears, grey eyes bloodshot and puffy. This was not how today was supposed to go, but the galaxy was a cruel, heartless, vengeful place. Father's were not meant to leave their child in the hands of a witch they did not know. Children were not meant to lose their homes at age 4. The Jedi, were not meant to bring death and destruction.

Lailya was young, but she was not ignorant. She knew what the tears on Miss Azure's face meant. Her daddy was either with mommy, or was going to be soon, and she did not resist when Azure tied the blindfold over her eyes. Azure gently took the child from Nicair, and cradled her close, whispering apologies and reassurances in the young girl's ear as she walked back to the dying man. Whether Nicair followed or not, Cuddles moved forward with her rider, and stood watch as Azure knelt down next to the man once again. He reached out, and Azure guided his hand to Lailya's much smaller one. It was cold, so, very, cold.

"Lailya... My little ball of sunshine..."

"Daddy? Are you gonna go see mommy?"

"I... Yes, I am... I won't be able to read you to bed anymore... I'm sorry..."

"It's okay Daddy... I... I'll be a big girl! I don't need stories no more!"

"Yes... You're a big girl... Just like Mommy wanted you to be... I love you, Lailya."

"I love you too Daddy!" Lailya squeezed her father's hand as tightly as she could, trying to put some warmth back into it, but it was still oh so cold. She turned her head up to Azure, lips trembling and tears rolling down her cheeks underneath the blindfold. "Miss Azure..."

"Azure... Please, take Lailya in as your own. She trusts you, I can see it, clear as day... Protect her, like I could not. Please."

"I-" Azure was stunned into silence. She had always wanted to be a mother... But not like this. Not by the wishes of a dying man. Not on a battlefield. Not on a rogue planet in a dark corner of the galaxy. A sob escaped from her throat as she nodded. "I will, I swear it. She will be safe."

"Thank... you..."

As the last of the light faded from the man's eyes, Lailya and Azure sobbed into each other's shoulders, and Cuddles roared in rage, and sorrow.

Jerek Morrows

A Jedi's Life is Sacrifice.
That had been... easier than anticipated. So much so that it made him wary; Jerek was used to people saying one thing and doing another, but this Mandalorian- he did seem to care about the civilians. How many were they? How long would it take to evacuate? Was there time to interrupt the Sith conjuring the storm before it grew out of control and began to consume all life on Azure?

Too many questions. Too many possibilities. Only a handful could play out, and without the answers, less than that were available options. "Get the warning sirens online," he suggested. "Alert as many people as we can. I'd suggest confronting whoever is at the heart of the Storm, but we lack the time and the knowledge to make an effective approach."

It was an honest answer. If [member="Laandur Solus"] actually intended to cooperate, he didn't care if the man were wearing Beskar or Jedi robes. Lives were at stake. Regardless of which side they were loyal to, none of them deserved to be swallowed by the machinations of some Dark Lord.

"If you can get me to an access point, I can slice in and get the entire network sending a distress signal."

He kept the blade low, ready to respond in the event an attack came; still, Jerek did not go on the offensive.

They had an opportunity to do something more important than shed blood. He wasn't about to be the one to throw that away, and he hoped that the other man felt the same way.

Reboot Successful.

Allya watches the man and tilts her head. “Do you have a family besides your clan? I know. Clan is deeper than blood. But let me tell you something. I find no joy in my actions here. Or when I blew the shield on Tanaab. I knew what I was doing and it tears at my soul. Challenge her? I have. I get static back. I'm dar'manda. I'm not even allowed to step foot on Mand'alor. I was chased off my home on Condordia Dawn as a child. They wanted my head I had visible force powers. I could make things float, and I had fun with it. But, some people in our people hate this type of....sorcery. I wanted from a child to be allowed to go home. It's not possible. And now, I already got to see the true colors of the current Mando'ade. You. Are pointless. You alone destroyed that city. Through both your own actions and your incompetence. Had I been in charge of the defenses, I never would have been able to destroy the shield generator. You are the one that made my suicide attack SURVIVABLE, and even winnable. You cleared the buildings between me and it!”

She Glared at the Elites. “And YOU! You stood inside the building?! You protected nothing! DID NOTHING! You FORCED the civilians into a facility that housed military personnel and weapons! You claimed they were too wounded to be evacuated! Really?! Does anyone now believe that? NO! Either you were so incompetent you couldn't get them off the planet, or you planned to have them there as a shield so we wouldn't bomb the hospital without you getting to call US monsters! All the while, you launched attacks at us from it!”

Her voice was a growl. “You and your elites acted like cowards the entire time. While I? I was there. On the ground, standing in front of my troops. I led their defense when you air raided us. I then led the attack and blew up your shield which allowed us to invade the city with near impunity from above. I was the one who then tagged which targets for that star destroyer in the sky. All because you allowed me too. Tell me? Who gained honor and glory from that battle? You or me? So, thank you. All of you. You guys did the same thing on Eshan, did you know?”

“You took civilians and hid in the palace! So we couldn't bombard the place, even though we didn't even WANT to. There were millions of civilians in the city. Then, a star destroyer falls on it, while we haven't launched any attack on the city. Guess what?! The Mandalorian Empire forces were no where near the crash site! When I begged them to help me rescue the survivors....they fired on my forces, killing the rescue parties, and the civilians on the planet. FULL bombardments, and laser fire. Opening fire and destroying transports filled with the wounded civilians. Yeah. You guys are honorable all right. I have video footage of the entire damn thing if you want it. I KNOW you have honor! I know you care about your clan as you should! And the people you are trying to protect! I GET IT! But you don't act like it. Because you support the one who keeps killing everyone he can. There is just ONE MAN, that created this war. Kaine Australis. I am the Daughter of Isley Verd....Also known as Darth Metus. You want this pointlessness to end? You want justice? Cut off the flesh that is causing your suffering in the galaxy. Hand over Kaine Australis, and the Confederacy will fall back. We will have what we were fighting for. He will be put on trail in Eshan, and left to the devices of the Echani people. Don't want to? Then we will CUT the flesh from you so your corruption doesn't spread! I WILL CLEAR THE NAME OF MANDALORE! I will correct your mistakes! I will end this stupidity!”

Even though it was hindered, her rage filled her, and gave her a little extra strength and speed. That long winded Tirad was over. As the battle rages, she watches the man with sorrowfilled eyes. He didn't deserve this, he was clearly tricked by that false Mand'alor and her dog Kaine. To die like this. However, these people had still hidden behind civilians at every recent battle. Eshan, in the palace, Tanaab in the hospital, Umbara....Then they slaughtered those they were claiming to protect, to pin blame on the others. It was constant. It happened every battle. Not this time. She pushed a button on her wrist and nodded to Adenn as they continued the battle

She rushed forward once more, using her jet pack, her sensors scanned every inch of the room. The backhand caught her, as she ran right INTO the arm. It barely scratched her helmet, which was designed to withstand kinetic attacks like Adenn's armor was designed to withstand lightsabers. It would leave a bruise, and she would probably need to have her neck adjusted later however. It hurt, the man's strength was unreal. But, at that close range, she attempted to bring the butt of her blaster, with its spikes and electricity right into the man's crotch. Her lightsaber was clicked off, and her hand went to her belt. She grabbed an EMP grenade as she was grabbed. She looked at the man and in Mando'a spoke.K'oyacyi!” She pushed the EMP grenade towards his chest. Once against him, she would contort her arm with her saber behind her back. At point blank range, set it off. Her armor had a high EMP resistance, but his did not. It would explode, and attempt to short out the repulsors, sensors, comm units, crush gaunts, magboots in the man's arsenal. Oh it would play havoc on much of Allya's more sensitive equipment, like her hud, sensors, and comms too.

As her commsn went out, the command she had sent before went off. The droids leaned against the wall exploded, and forced a hole in the side of the ship, leading into the vacuum of space. Allya grinned, and set off her Jet pack, while holding the man as close as she could, as he swung her around. With luck, it would push them into the air, through the destroyed door, through the jagged hole, and out into the cold vacuum of space.

Outside, the fighters dodged much of the attacks coming in on them. But several of them got caught in the defensive cannon fire. Each soldier as they were hit, aimed their fighters at important equipment, such as transmitters as they fell to the ground. A few others exploded in balls of gas, and others managed to push use their seats to explode from the cockpits and into the space as their fighters crashed to the surface.

The pods came back in, a few more were destroyed, but much of the cannon fire was on the fighters actively harassing them. They tried to dig once more into the hull of the ship. If successful, they would unload their troops. A bunch of B1's surrounding a heavy and slow Clanker, clearly modified in some way. They protected it, and each team moved towards the reactor of the ship. More buzz droids were unloaded as well, to once more cause havoc in the interior and exterior of the ship.

The virus IF and only if, it had managed to infect a comm unit, would attempt to begin unloading data from the shipboard computers to the command ship of the group.

After this, the three capital ships moved their target to the engines, to make the ship dead in the water, their fire power now hitting against weakened shields and attempting to push through them to begin to stop the ship from moving altogether.

The two of them engaged then disengaged, circling each other, looking for weaknesses, or at least Adenn was. Allya spoke during that time after another short engagement. They did that, off and on fighting, with one or the other party saying their peace in between or during the weapons clashes. Adenn listened to her speak and she listened to him, then they fought again, and again, so on and so forth. He had made sure long ago that his helmet camera was always on, and now was no different, he'd look over what she said at a later date, for now though, he continued on, listening while she spoke and rebutting when his 'turn' came.

"My clan is my family, those I fight beside as well. I can't speak for the Mand'alor nor for the regime at the time, but I know that many see such measures as justified, after all it was Force users who practically destroyed Mandalore. Not for the first time either. I don't condone forcing Mandalorians away simply because of the Force, it's simply another weapon for a Mando'ade." Adenn shook his head to her statement about him being pointless. "How are your actions different from ours? We fight to protect our aliit, you do the same, though for different leaders. Buildings are buildings, they can be rebuilt in a years time or sooner, lives, those take decades to reform, if they reform at all. I put myself in charge of the defense of the hospital, because I would never allow anyone to be at the mercy of the CIS. Another Mando had that defense in order, the building itself was built by the population, they are the ones who secured that shield for themselves."

Adenn sneered behind his helmet, what she said was theoretically true, and he'd have to look over the data once more to see what went wrong. But that was neither here nor there as he attacked again, swinging at her once, twice, then backing off again. All to begin another bout of speech. This time it wasn't directed at him, but his guards, and they weren't pleased. They'd fought just as hard, led the charge alongside Adenn. The leader took a menacing step forward before spitting out a contemptuous reply, voice laced with venom.
"I led the charge alongside my Alor, fought against you chakaar who didn't even face us in combat, instead bombarding us. We protected our vode and the civvies from the CIS, from you." Snarling in anger, the captain continued. "You prevented the escape of those wounded, those where the last to go, and your presence prevented proper medical ships to arrive. We would never use our aliit as shields, not even if our own lives depended on it!"

Adenn spoke up then, voice still filled with anger, especially at the verbal desecration of the Mandos memory.
"My own family was there, blood family, born of my wife, and my own three children. I also had wounded soldiers from my clan there, You clearly didn't see our defenses tidkasa(lapdog), everything we set up was to prevent anyone from getting close. We put ourselves in the line of fire so the wounded wouldn't be in danger of getting hit. Good thing too, because some shabs decided to attack the place. We fought off against rabid animals and zombies right out of a comic. Then we fought droids and other things. No, we were right to defend that place, because if we weren't there, the wounded would've been shredded by your peoples attacks. If you doubt me, I have the proof of it. I don't regret putting my men in harms way to protect those who couldn't protect themselves, not for an instant."

"We didn't cower, we led the charge against your pitiful FOB, and were only stopped by the bombardment." Adenn chuckled at the hypocrisy of Allya. "I was under the bombardment from start to finish, I survived that with some of my men. You... you just survived a bombing run of comparatively weak fighters, so don't try to claim high ground for that." Then she said that it was her who called in the targets, causing Adenn to be enraged even further. Using his arm blaster, Adenn aimed at Allya and let loose a flurry of bolts before jumping forward with his jetpack again to strike at her. "You know nothing!" Adenn roared out. "Everything we've done was to prevent their deaths, yet you twist everything to suit your own needs! No matter what we do or why, you always say it's for evil, when it's all done to protect them from you!"

"That destroyer wasn't ours, the worms weren't ours, but you blame it all on us! Regardless of the facts, of the reasoning behind our action, we are always the evil ones in your stories. We have tried communication, they were denied, tried peace, and you blame us for attacks we didn't even do!" Adenn kept swinging with his blade, with his fist, doing his best to keep attacking while ranting at her. "You've done similar, you've done worse no doubt. You say there were civilians in there, we only had your word for it. The same goes for our hospital, there were only wounded in there, they couldn't fight, so we protected them. Yet you force them to be targets, simply because we are doing our duty to protect them. If we left them alone you'd say we were monsters for leaving them, but we protect them and we're still monsters!" Another heavy swing, and then came a spin kick to knock her off her feet before a fist jabbed out to stab her in a weak point of the armor, using the spikes on his hand.

Adenn snarled behind his helmet, even as he continued to attack. Even then, he continued on, as there was nothing else for him to do.
"One man? He attacked blocks in one city, your people destroyed half if not the entire place! Your lot instigated war on every imaginable front, attacked us for perceived slights. And then you claim it's all for peace!" He punched out again with his fist, this time aiming for the armpit of her left arm. "With all your brainwashing, you think that trial would be fair?! Why not try to have a trial the Mando way, but you haven't considered that, have you? Mandos have done far worse things and the galaxy kept on turning. The deaths of some slavers hardly seems like a reason to bring war to an entire people with the sole purpose of exterminating them. Not that you even could, not with a hundred years, not with a thousand, or ten thousand. The Mando'ade have survived for eons and will survive for eons more. You won't be able to destroy us, for we are an ideal and you can't kill ideals, but we can certainly kill you."

Adenn backed off then, circling again, panting slightly from all the speaking and fighting.
"The only thing we have that you'd leave us be is your word, and that's been broken often enough for us to never trust you again. You say mistakes, I say correct actions! The bombardment of slavers is something good, yet you only saw Eshani there, not what they were doing. The stupidity at hand is because of your Metus! How many have lost their lives because of you and yours, hm? The Mando'ade haven't attacked anyone for such a long time, yet you say we're war mongers! Who has been attacking whom the past few years? YOU! The CIS, the SJO, the CIC, all of you have been attacking us, blaming us for things we never did." Taking a deep breath, his eyes never leaving Allyas helmet, he continued, voice softer and somewhat calmer now, though still with anger in it.

"We fight and defend our own people, you invade us. No matter what happens, you'll always claim we're the bad people, the boogy men." Shaking his head once more, Adenn sighed. "You were once a Mandalorian, you could be again someday. Today is not that day though, I don't know when, if ever, you can really be a Mando." Gritting his teeth, Adenn prepared for another attack. "Come back once you've cleared your eyes of the brainwashing, once you've looked at both sides. I have and it's cleared things up. You fight to bring peace, but in that way only bring war. My men and I, the entirety of the UCM perhaps, we fight for our aliit. We defend them with our lives against you and yours. You won't end anything adiik, for there is nothing to end here except your own failures and misgivings. We fight for our aliit, for the chance to see another day and to watch our kids become Mando'ade. You... you seek to destroy that, for all of us. No adiik, you are the monsters, the killers. The same things you say about us apply to you. We fight to defend ourselves, defend our homes and our aliits. You fight to destroy us, annihilate us wholesale." Adenn shook his head, sighing in disappointment, even as he prepared his beskad to fight once more.

"Adiik, who has brought war to more systems and planets these past few years? The UCM or the CIS and its allies. We haven't attacked anyone in a long time and have been defending for so long it's practically all we're doing. But who has been attacking constantly, year after year, month after month, day after day. I've heard your rallying cries, we didn't do Umbara, Yasha herself confirmed that, I was there, those were not Caderas. I've heard H'rrath was a point of contestion, the UCM didn't condone that, nor did it commit that attack. Then there's Eshan, a few blocks destroyed, and you claim that's what has caused all this death and destruction, that one man did it." He shook his head again. "No... Kaine bombed some blocks, but he didn't invade anyone then, it was you who started hostilities, who began these battles, this war. The CIS has caused far more damage than the UCM, yet you blame us for everything. Look at yourself before you blame others for crimes you've committed."

Adenn felt oddly at peace with himself, he didn't know why. There was a battle raging, an infuriating child before him, and he'd recently lost a lot of his clan members. But he was still at peace with himself, though he didn't know why. Closing his eyes for a moment, Adenn opened his eyes and was very much a predator in that moment. He saw and heard everything, senses heightened because of his internal awakening. It wasn't the Force, no, it was something that everyone could attain, if they knew where to look, or if they were lucky. It was the primal history and knowledge of the present combined into one entity of war and conflict. Adenn felt himself as if he embodied those aspects, even if it was only to himself, but he was far more in tune with himself now. The girl had given him new insight, and that had lifted a weight from his shoulders.

Flipping his blade into a reverse grip, Adenn had attacked. She charged as well, allowing herself to be hit by the backhand, something Adenn noticed and prepared himself for a counter attack. The counter attack was ingenious, but Adenn was semi ready for it. Positioning his blade in between the blaster butt and his crotch. The beskad caught the blow for the most part before transferring the rest of the impact to his armored thigh. The electricity hit him full on, causing him to roar in pain, only further heightening his senses, but causing him tremendous pain in that moment. Knocking the blaster butt away from him as well as he could, Adenn didn't notice the EMP until she told him "cheers."

The EMP went off and left him practically deaf and dumb, he could hear well enough through the helmet, and see through the visor, and as such saw what was happening. Everything in his armor was down because of the EMP, but he didn't need tech to hurt her, or even better, kill her. The explosive decompression was sudden, thankfully his guards activated their mag boots in time, but his were disabled due to the EMP. The first thing to come back was oxygen flow, something that was good as they were being sucked/had been sucked into space at this point. Using his arm, Adenn would try to hold himself steady against her before slamming his helmet forward. Her armor may be designed for kinetic damage, but he doubted the armor weave would be good against the tusks on his helmet. As such, Adenn aimed to gouge her neck or upper chest/shoulder area with the tusks while also trying to head butting her. His systems would slowly be coming back online, but he also had his beskad in his hand, and he used that to try and jab it into her jetpack. That way it might explode and injure her further, while also limiting her escape options. Snarling behind his helmet, Adenn went to head butt/gouge her again, fully intending to maim or kill her.

The dead starfighters did damage that wouldn't be able to be fixed anytime soon. In fact, the damage was rather disruptive for what the crew was working on. Systems were sent to secondary works while the crew continued to battle with everything going on. Meanwhile the battle computer that had been fighting the virus used part of itself to help speed up Adenns armor processes, that way he'd have access to everything sooner. At the same time it refocused and cut off the comms unit that had been infected, instead looping it against itself to try and use against the CIS ships. The shields at the engines were strengthened at the cost of shields elsewhere, but they began to make evasive manuevers, hoping to find safety in their fellow UCM ships. The shields held, for now, but the crew didn't know for how long it'd last.

The Beskad Elite opened fire on the droids that were in the same corridor as them the second Adenn and Allya were outside, as the droids were now free game. Then the side rooms opened up with 10 more Beskad Elite armed with more heavy blasters and their boarding shields. The second group made their way straight towards the new group that was trying to head to the engine room. They put themselves in the direct path of the droids, forming a beskar wall, even as they opened fire on the group, a majority of the shots aimed at the big droid in the middle. Whenever the first 10 beskad elite finished with their droids, they moved to flank the droids and hit them from the side and back. The first groups cry of "For our aliit!" would eventually mix with the second groups same cry.

They spar for a bit, however, Allya finds the ignorance of the people overwhelming. Didn't they bombard HER first? Like, it was all they did in fact. It was a thing. However, their passion, their loyalty to one another, and their clan....it was admirable. She reached into her glove and pulled out a recording chip and threw it at one of the elite guards. “If you are ever curious about what I saw on Tanaab, Eshan, and Umbara. Up to you what you do with it. If you watch it, check it with an anti-virus, and on an isolated system. I'm tricky.” Her lightsaber swung at the blaster shots that came at her, sending them around the room. Without the force, it was harder to deflect them back. But blocking them was sheer reflex by this point.

As the explosions happen, and everything becomes chaotic, she smirked. He leaned down and jabbed the horns into her neck, as planned.. The armorweave gave way, and then it jabbed deeper, into the jumpsuit she wore under her main armor. As it punctured the neck there, she gasped in pain at the pressure. However, quickly, the emnat components in the suit closed around the spikes. Now, had his repulsors been online, had he been standing on solid ground, or not been in such heavy, cumbersome armor, this wouldn't have been an issue. However, the moment it gets stuck, Allya wraps her arms around his neck, and pressed close. Had his shield not been knocked out, his equipment been up....but it wasn't. One hand touches the back of his head and pushes his head firmly against her, it hurt, but it didn't puncture the innermost layer, her bodyglove. Yet. Now that his spikes were stuck, and his head was pushed against her, it would be next to impossible to get enough force to push her away and separate them, especially while trying to swing his massive heavy sword at her jetpack. At the moment her hand held his head down in that bent position, her other hand, which held the lightsaber clicked into place, between the plates. Her head tilts to the side, and she adjusts the position slightly to the side, so it wouldn't ignite directly into his spine, instead, it would go for half of his jugular veins, which would incapacitate, but not kill him. “This wasn't luck. You are an honorable man. Go be a better father than mine was for me.”

The wound would be horrible. It would take weeks of bacta treatment and surgery to really repair it. However, the cauterization of the wound would make it so he wouldn't bleed out and die. But, it was doubtful he could remain conscious, let alone do anything else with only half the blood able to reach his brain. As they drifted in space, she turned the man, brought her feet up to his armored stomach, and placed her hands on his chest. With a push from both, and a blast from the repulsor in her vambrace, she sent the man carefully careening back at the ship, towards a group of his soldiers on the surface of the ship fighting. They would take care of him.

A short burst of her scratched up sent her flying away from the ship. She didn't dare use long bursts after the damage he did to it. However, short bursts were generally safe. They went her on a path away from the ship. Allya covered herself in her cloak which would hide her from visual capture by the dark color, and from sensors due to the baffle-weave.

Comms were still out, but as she floated away, she brought her mind to a peaceful place. He was alive because she had allowed it. Not because he deserved it, not because he was better. Perhaps she should have killed him....but she knew Jerek would be proud of her. She had proven her strength as well as her compassion. She was not just some hate filled creature unable to show mercy. However, this was still war. She had done her part. Now was time for the final act.

As the elites opened fire on the droids, they fired back, pelting the elites armor in heavy sonic weapon attacks, attempting to take them out. However, one by one the original droids fell and collapsed to the floor. As the next group of elites confronted one of the slower clankers, they were once more pelted in sonic attacks. It would be literal waves of sonic weaponry firing at them. However the droids from that unit fell, and lay motionless.

In other sections, one clanker positioned itself relatively close to the shield generator, another near the power generator, and the last got pinned near some of the barracks. However, when in place, they raised their hands. All of the surviving droids. In one voice they screamed “Darasuum kote bah Hod Ha'ran.” With that the thermal bombs in the four heavier clankers living and dead would attempt to go off. Along side them, all the thermal detonators in all the living and dead modified droids would attempt to go off as well. If successful, the devastation would cascade across the ship, as the larger bombs and the many smaller detonators went off near fairly sensitive places.

Outside, the fighters kept hitting at the ship, finally targeting the point defense cannons. They lost a good number of them in the attacks. The capital ships, continued to attack at the engines raining hell fire upon them.

With this phase completed, and her pride justified, Allya reached out to one of the more force sensitive of the pilots and caused them to come close to her. When near, she launched the grapple line, and reeled herself into the ship. Once she was securely attached to the outside, the fighter slowly moved towards the mother ship, to slide into its hanger. As it neared, the shield lowered to allow her inside without too much trouble. She hopped to the ground and stretched. "Report. Let's finish this. However, if any emergency shuttles, or escape pods shoot from the ship.....let them go. Do not target them. They earned that much."

The guard who had the chip thrown at him easily caught it and flipped it over, examining it. Nodding his head slightly, the guard made sure that he'd give the chip to someone later on so they could crack it and take all the viruses and whatnot from it. Adenn would've reciprocated the move, but he didn't readily carry a chip around like that. Instead he sent a data packet over the holonet, it was broadband and sent in general to anyone who wanted it.
"And there's my info for you, take a look why don't you, you might learn that your government is lying to you more than you'd expect."

When Adenn stabbed into her neck, at first it went in rather easily, and then it was stopped. Momentarily dumbfounded by that, Adenn then quickly began to yank his neck side to side, only for it to not move all that much. Growling in frustration, Adenn hardly noticed how she wrapped her arms around his neck, but when he did he stopped and snorted loudly. When he spoke next, his voice was filled with amusement.
"I'm married you know, and I don't think my wife would appreciate this."

Not that she was there to complain mused Adenn to himself, even as he moved to knee her side with his leg and stab her with his wrist blade. Those attacks never fully went through because Adenn felt the lightsaber against his neck. Eyes widening slightly, Adenn realized he couldn't do anything, and closed his eyes to prepare himself for the inevitable. It didn't come immediately, instead she spoke first. Adenn would've nodded his head, but the horns were stuck, so instead he spoke one last time before the lightsaber activated.
"For out aliit."

Then the lightsaber activated, cutting deep into him, injuring him severely. Struggling to not slip into unconsciousness, Adenn forced his arm to reach out, attempting to reach out one last time with his arm. Then he was pushed back towards the ship, even as he began to drift into unconsciousness, personally thinking it would be the last time he was ever awake. The kick made him spin slightly, making him face the ship and his vode. Grimacing, Adenn closed his eyes and drifted into unconsciousness, while personally believing he was drifting into death.

As Adenn drifted towards his men, the Beskad Elite and the droids fought. A few of them fell, injured thanks to the sonic weapons, but if given healing in time, they could survive. Elsewhere the crew fought the droids and watched in muted horror as some exploded in vital parts of the ship. The droid at the barracks went off without a hitch, while the one at the shield further damage it and the one at the power generator damaged that as well. The shield and power were nearly out, but the crew used the last of its power to send it towards the fleet of [member="Kaine Australis"]. Nothing was working anymore, only the escape pods and shuttles, things that had their own power. Nothing worked, the last of the energy was used to push the ship towards the rest of the fleet, but it couldn't do its job anymore. The warfare suit was gone, shields down, engines in shambles, bridge half ruined; it would take months if not years to fix the thing, if it were at all fixable.

Elsewhere the crew began to run for it, getting into escape pods and flying towards allied ships. A few decided to stay and hope for the best, even as the ship broke apart around them. It probably wouldn't survive, the engines were practically gone, and the crew in shambles. Adenn himself was picked up by the crew on the ship and rushed to the beskad elite, who themselves rushed him to a ship and from there rushed him towards the nearest medical ship. He was in intensive medical care and his guards were doing everything in their power to save him. Behind them, parts of the ship exploded, pushing it further towards the rest of the fleet, even as more and more shuttles escaped, heading towards other ships. Escape pods went there as well, or crashed down on the planet below. It was chaos, pure and simple, and those that survived would have to figure out what to do.
