The Flood

"I did, and we certainly could!" she agreed. "I'm going to be here for the next month at least, so plenty of time to binge if that's your thing."

Allyson hacked a bit as she adjusted atop the bed. Normally, Arisa wouldn't have paid much mind, but being so close while possessing the knowledge that Allyson was still reeling from her injuries at Anoat, it gave her some pause for concern.

"No starfighter will ever top piloting a mech," she said while nodding. "There's some pretty fancy sim arcades on Kiribi. I've been to one where they had a sim for driving a mech, maybe about the closest thing to experiencing the real deal. Or, at least how we think it would work."

"Do you need some water or something before we start watching?" She turned her eyes away from the tablet, training them on Allyson's neck and collarbone.

Allyson shrugged as she was asked about the water. She knew deep down that the water wouldn’t do anything for her, but she still needed to give an answer. “Ah no, I’m okay its just something that has lingered for a bit since I left the hospital.” Looking down at the shirt she had used to cover her mouth, there were slight specks of blood. Allyson groaned knowing this wasn’t the time and place for her to have an episode. A hand did its best to cover it, but she looked around the room trying to find something to hide it.

Trying to return the subject to something other than her health and the accident, Allyson nodded quickly. “The sims on Kiribi are AWESOME. Been there once or twice, but I’d love to go again. We should go some time, the two of us.” She wanted to spend time with Arisa, they had a bond that was rare with people, especially for Allyson. She wasn’t one to have many friends and if Arisa could be one – it would mean the world to her.

Leaning back on the bed, becoming more comfortable she looked towards the Jedi with a smile, “Well then we have a month to binge then. I’d like that…I’d like to see you more.” Remembering the stain on her collar, she nodded towards the lights and winked slightly. “So uh cut the lights to set the mood for this space opera eh?” [member="Arisa Yune"]

Arisa beamed as Allyson revealed she had been to Kiribi before. While her homeland was a popular tourist destination within the Core, it was always nice meeting someone who had visited there. With each exchange, she had a growing sense intrigue as her Corellian counterpart revealed a little more about herself. Regret came with the intrigue; she could only imagine the state of their relationship if she had kept up with her back in the day.

"Out here, I don't run into many people who've seen Kiribi. I plan on heading back home after I complete my mission here on Kiara. Perhaps I could interest you in a personal tour? Show you all the best spots."

While she gave Allyson a chance to think of her offer, the cyborg flipped off the lights with a simple mental command to the system, then plopped the tablet down on her lap to start the show. The tablet began to display a small full-color hologram right before their eyes, beginning with the opening credits of the program, full of explosions and mecha duking it out in flashy combat sequence unlike anything known in the real world.

The show started and Allyson looked at the tablet that Arisa was holding. Lights shut off and the room was only lit by the tablet and the action that unfolded on the screen. The way Arisa was holding the tablet, Allyson really couldn’t catch everything at where she was sitting. Without realizing it, she scooted closer to Arisa to get a better view. The action was amazing and so was the animation. Allyson felt all her attention being captured and absorbed into the show.

Looking up once, she smiled at Arisa. “This is amazing, we HAVE to finish this before you leave.” Remembering the offer of getting a personal tour of the woman’s home planet, she nodded with excitement. “I’ve loved it the few times we’ve gone into port, but I’ve never been able to stay more than a day or two. Quality time, would be so relaxing…” Allyson mused over the possible vacation, she was always looking for a reason to use her paid time off from the Rogues.

Returning her attention to the show, her face lit up. “My Force they’re so agile.” [member="Arisa Yune"]

Allyson drew closer for a better angle, until their cheeks were almost touching. In response, she let out a content sigh as she was able to enjoy one of her favorite pastimes with Allyson at her side.

She giggled when Allyson let out an exclamation about the show. Arisa was much more muted during the viewing, but just as engaged. However, she couldn't help but entertain all sorts of thoughts about her Corellian counterpart in the back of her mind, even as she tried to focus. It was difficult not to do so with the woman practically in her lap.

"We definitely will. I don't often get much time to watch anything, so tend to binge whenever I get the chance. Hmmm, a new trip to Kiribi is something we can plan out this week if you're down."

Feeling relaxed, she leaned her head right against Allyson's shoulder, brushing her cheek the side of the Corellian's neck a few times until she settled, getting a strong whiff scented shampoo. About the same time, she reached around for a loose embrace of Allyson's arm.

"They are quite agile. I'd kill to be behind the yoke of one of them right now."
