As she was in a cell where there was no Force presence, he couldn't manipulate it to choke her unless she was outside of that bubble.

But seeing the motion of his hand, she knew exactly what he was wanting to do. She was pushing his buttons a bit too much. Could he kill her friends so easily? Well he caught her easily enough, but he knew one of her weaknesses. Her friends were not Jedi and probably wouldn't care about innocent lives as much as she did.

Kay glanced to each of the guards after Vex left the room. They were well known to be Jedi killers and difficult to destroy. And with no weapons to use as they had been confiscated, she had little to defend herself with against them and their electro-staffs. And she had no idea what was awaiting her at the slave camp.

She sipped her cold tea and almost hugged her satchel as it wouldn't be long before she was separated from it again. But it was her lightsaber that her late husband had given her that she cared about the most in getting back.

She called out to him, hoping that Vex could hear her from where she was. "Well if you want the challenge, Vex, then give me back my commlinks and I'll try to reach them." Or better yet they could infiltrate the slave camp and get her out. Either way she didn't wish to be held captive for long. She hated not being in control of her own fate.

The Trandoshan looked around him. Something wasn't right. His instincts...they were tipping him off about something, but what was it? There were too many people around Vinskk to tell. Deciding to leave the crowd, whose smell was starting to bother him, the Trandoshan made his way to less populated part of the square, an alleyway behind a cantina where he could breathe for a little bit and determine what was tripping his senses.

Mallith Renyl ran over to a wonderful looking place. She didn't bother reading the sign but she didn't care. She inhaled the flowers as much as she could. Beautiful. She got bored quickly so she quit and explored the wonderful place. She suddenly saw a 'VIH' after 30 minutes of exploring. 'VIH' is actually just one way to put it though. In other words... She saw a 'Very Important Hutt'. She saw [member="Sempra the Hutt"] before he left.

Mallith liked Gos Hutta so far. It was very lively when it comes to botany but not very lively when it comes to attractions, tourism, and social things. She wished that she could just go. She was falling asleep so she might as well go to an inn.

As she approached her target, Tenel noticed that he had one hand resting on a poorly concealed gun. She picked up the pace and reached him just in time to stop him in the process of unholstering it. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." she whispered in his ear, walking right up behind him and pushing her own gun into his back. With her free hand, she methodically removed all the visible weapons he had on him and hid them in her cloak before speaking again. "I highly suggest that you cooperate from here on out, I don't think you'd like what'll happen if you make me angry." she said, beginning to usher the clearly shaken Trandoshan away from the crowd.

Vinskk was sorely confused. This Human, the source of whatever instinct was tipping him off, had her gun pressed against his back, disarming him just as he was about to see what the hell she wanted with him. Now he was weaponless and held at gunpoint. The Trandoshan took a quick glance behind him and had to crane his neck down to see the tiny woman with a blaster pressed against him. Vinskk hissed in laughter at the nearly scrawny specimen below and behind him. The Trandoshan was almost two feet above her, and clearly outweighed the Human by at least 150 pounds. This was gonna be easy. If he could wrestle and kill Wookiees successfully, without anything besides his instincts and claws and teeth, he could handle this wisp of a human. In a millisecond, drawing on the advanced speed that his species was capable of that surprised even Jeedai, Vinskk simultaneously spun around and swatted the gun out of the Human's hand, nearly breaking it in the process. He then gripped her throat with one taloned claw, other arm poised to dismember and gut her with his claws if she so much as twitched her arms to any weapons on her body as he hoisted her up, holding her up in mid air. She was a bit more muscular than Vinskk expected, a lean, wiry type of muscle, but she was still only a toothpick in his arms. Any physical blows from her fists or legs would probably tickle, at best. This whole turn of events happened in less than a second, a blur to onlookers. The Trandoshan's amusement quickly turned into his trademark anger as he clicked out, "All Vinskk has to do is squeeze and Human's head pops off. Do not reach for weapons. Now tell me, what did Trandoshan do to deserve blaster to back, coward?" He really drew out the last sentence, placing emphasis on the word coward. To come from behind and attack when he wasn't looking? If she was a warrior, she was a pathetic attempt at one in the eyes of the Trandoshan. It was more along the lines of cutthroats and thieves, preying on unsuspecting victims. Still, this couldn't have been random. His insticts told him so, and they were never wrong. If she had a problem with Vinskk, if he damaged her honor in any way, he wanted to know why. "Speak, Human, and remember that Trandoshan will kill Human as easily and as quickly as one kills a gizka if Human moves. Vinskk has been merciful. Human's lucky day. Now talk." , he clicked and hissed out, expecting a response, ready to bloody the street they stood on in a nanosecond.

Tenel's face stayed surprisingly calm, unyielding in her determination as the Trandoshan held her by her throat. It wasn't the first time she had been in this situation, though she had hoped that it wouldn't happen again after the last time. She was a sniper by trade, taking on fights either from a distance or from the shadows. Head on confrontation was not her forte. The best she could do now was talk herself out of this mess. First priority though, get the threat away from where he might cause any further damage.

"You don't want to do this here." Tenel murmured, trying not to show weakness by gasping for much needed air. "You kill me here and you leave a stain on your reputation with the Cartel. I don't think Sempra'll take too kindly to either of us mucking up the festivities with this misunderstanding." She silently prayed that he had some vested interest in being on Sempra's good side, otherwise things were going to head south sooner rather than later.

The Trandoshan nodded, dragging the woman to the alleyway where he intended to try to fade away. This time, he slammed her against the back of the cantina, still choking her. The area was completely abandoned. He could kill her and be done with the threat and the injustice dealt unto him. But then he remembered a time where he was at the mercy of another individual, and how she chose to spare him. Vinskk furrowed his brow and sighed, and with an uncharacteristic show of mercy loosened the death grip he had on the Human, shifting his hand to her shoulder, where he still had her pushed against the wall, other talon still at the ready. "Vinskk has spared you, Human, only because Vinskk was spared by a Human once. Now, explain to Trandoshan." He grabbed his weapons and put them back on his body while awaiting an answer and explanation.

Tenel took a moment to catch her breath while she had the chance. She rubbed her neck and winced, certain she wasn't going to escape without some serious bruising. "Way to give a girl whiplash." she grumbled before recomposing herself and getting back to the matter at hand. "Alright, you want an explanation? I was called in to work security for the Cartel to help pay off the outstanding debt I owe them. You looked suspicious and you were armed, so I didn't want to take a chance on anybody getting hurt. I was just doing my job." Tenel shrugged off his hand with a surprising amount of strength for someone her size. "Now, would you be so kind as to get your claws out of my face?"

Vinskk growled at this explanation, both arms now off of the woman. "Human should have said that before Vinskk almost tore throat out." The Trandoshan felt weird. His sense were going haywire around this woman, conflicting with his natural aggression. Maybe it was etched in her face, or the way she handled herself, but the Human had been through a lot in her life. This struck a chord in the slaver's stone heart, and in a rare display of compassion, the Trandoshan grumbled out, "Vinskk is sorry he hurt you. Trandoshan can never be too careful. Trandoshan will buy you drink to make up for Human's pain." Did he just offer to spend credits on her? All of Vinskk's body screamed at him to stop, but his instincts told him to get to know her better, and alcohol certainly helped to break species barriers and ease the tension. Who knows, maybe they could end up working together? He did need a hunting partner, and she mentioned a debt to the Cartel...maybe this could work out well for both of them. He would pay her and get an employee, and she would clear her debt and get to shoot things. Hopefully she accepts that drink, the Trandoshan thought.

Tenel bit her lip absentmindedly, contemplating his offer. Not five minutes ago did he have her in a chokehold and now he was apologizing and offering to buy her a drink? Maybe she had gotten a concussion or something because none of this made any sense to her. Nevertheless, she wasn't one to turn down free alcohol and she could surely use it to take the edge off. "How can I say no?" Tenel shrugged, wincing almost immediately afterwards. "Just one though, I need to get back to work at some point." she qualified. Spending too much time away might void her pay and that was a chance she literally couldn't afford to take.

Cantina, Gos Hutta City Square

The Trandoshan and the Human entered the cantina they were just behind. It was mostly deserted, the patrons outside celebrating. A single Gran bartender held the fort. His three eyes blinked when he saw the customers and he said, "What will you two be having?" Vinskk responded, "Juma. Hoth it. And get Human whatever the Human wants." He then took a seat, waiting for the Human to order and sit across from him.

After she saw the wonderful botany Mallith Renyl was bored. Gos Hutta only had so much to offer. She was going to stay there for a while so she thought she'd need a place to sleep. She went around asking some people where the Inn was and she eventually found it. It was a surprisingly quiet Inn but that didn't matter. There wasn't many people there really. At the left wall there was a man at a desk. He was wearing a suit so he probably worked at the Inn. She went up to the man.

"How may I help you?" The man said with a monotone voice and a blank expression. He looked and sounded very old with is wrinkles and grey hair. He was probably in his 70's.

"Oh... Erm... May I rent a room for 1 person." I put my credits on the desk and he handed me a key. "Thank you." I looked at the key. It read 'Room 207'. I assumed that it meant Floor 2, Room 7 because Inns do that. I went to the 2nd floor and I looked for a room that said 207. It only took a minute to find it.

"Claing juice." Tenel told the bartender as she sat down, pulling a cigarette out of her sleeve and lighting while she waited for her drink. She had picked up the habit from Marcus and never really made an effort to quit after his death. It took the edge off just as well as alcohol and she definitely needed it right now. "So," Tenel said, taking a drag off of her cigarette. "are we just going to sit here in silence or...?"

The Trandoshan looked at Tenel and clicked. What she lacked in strength, compared to the brute at least, she made up for in speed. Good. The woman could be a good hunter for faster prey. But he had to know a couple of things first. "Can Human shoot? Can Human fight, incapacitate, kill, and track?" He was curious about her skills. Could she be his new partner? He sipped his juma and waited for her answer.

Vex laughed a little to himself as he lit up another cigarette. He heard her, but chose not to answer. His pride was not so potent that he would jeopardize a mission just to prove how good he was. He did however have a thought, she was an important woman so if she had friends they would keep tabs on her, but he was taking her without any resistance.

He punched a code into his wrist device to have a droid bring her comping. Once it was in his hands he flipped it over a few times looking at it and then took a tool to open it and sure enough, a short range tracking device, "Chit!" He ripped it out and studied it before he disabled it with a hammer.

His ship entered hyperspace and began heading for the slave camp. He needed to keep more aware and make no more mistakes or this could all blow up in his face.

No answer. He was ignoring her. Every movement of hers was being watched by the robotic guards. And as she had no plans of being shocked, she kept her movements clear and unsurprising.

Kay had another sip of her tea. The cursing followed shortly thereafter by the sound of something being smashed. He was destroying her things, with her having no idea that she had a tracker amungst them. She sighed. All that she could do right now was wait.

Sempra's slave camp. Oh boy. She wouldn't make for a good slave and she knew that. No doubt it was all a part of a fear tactic to get her to stop her actions against the Cartel. Hopefully it was a plan that would backfire on them.
