The Gathering Storm (Primeval Dominion of Dubrillion)

Alderaan had been a veritable bloodbath, and it had awakened something inside xem that just wouldn't go away. When the call came, for slaughter and destruction, Laguz answered wholeheartedly, following the Primeval into battle. Whatever ulterior motives the shifter had for joining the zealots, they could wait for now. Xe'd bide xir time, waiting, calculating, watching, until the right opportunity presented itself. Only then would the hunter strike, executing a carefully constructed plan. Xe could allow no mistakes, no mishaps, when xe finally went in for the proverbial kill.

Until then, however, the sniper was content to do what xe did best; snipe.

While the rest of the landing forces had stumbled off into the urban maze, Laguz disappeared into the darkness of the first side-alley xe could find, scaling the wall of the nearest house. Xir body shifted as xe moved high above the others, jumping, rolling — you know, your usual parkour — well-trained eyes looking for an appropriate nest to settle in. Like any good hunter, the skin-changer was possessed of a great patience, borne both from experience and xir years roaming the Galaxy, and xe would settle for nothing short of perfection.

Xe found it, too, on a balcony of a smaller skyscraper, morphing into the gray concrete as xe found the best possible spot to pick off xir targets. Laguz wasn't too far, but not too close either, and with a few adjustments to xir eyesight, the sniper was finally ready to begin. Xe leaned forward to scope the administrative building, scanning the upper story windows with a lop-sided smile. It grew into a toothy grin when xe spotted a small cluster of flickering red and orange forms, at the far east corner of the structure, and the shifter let out a satisfied breath.

"Hey, [member="Mikkel Markov"]," xe said into xir earpiece as xe took aim, the rifle unflinching in xir expert grip. "How's it going down there, sugartits?"

With that transparently gloating statement, the sniper emptied xir lungs and let xir finger slide on the hair trigger, four times in quick succession. The suppressor on the barrel did its job, but so did the large-caliber slugs, ripping through the window and into the bodies beyond.

Incidentally, the stain of red in xir vision was suddenly much smaller.

Tyro'din

Worshipper Of Halrormalenth
Tyro'din was also making his own way over to the Administration Building. He had his primary Blaster Pistol drawn in his left hand and a vibroknife in his right. He was making his way slowly on the opposite side of the building to Mikkel, taking out as many perimeter guards he could. Coming across a group of three, male, human guards he crouched down an accessed what the best method would be.

'Guard one has the majority of his weight on the right leg, possible agitated injury to the left, lagging behind as a result. Fellows aren't checking on him, they see him as a weak link. Guard two shows no sign of stress, eyes are partially closed, movements sluggish, he's burdened by boredom and tiredness. Guard three is not fully alert but has his hand on his blaster pistol, will be quick to fire. Only weapons are silenced blaster pistols.' He took in the observations and ran them through his head. He soon began to play at the best possible plan in his head as he closed his eye.

Attack the third guard from the shadows, strike at neck to disable vocal chords, hit left leg to weaken and distract. Knife to the back of the neck. Throw dead guard into the second guard's legs, knocking him to the ground and disorientating him. Third guard will immediately draw gun and fire. Knock the arm down, cause his to shoot companion in skull. Capitalise on shock. Discombobulate by double strike to the ears, chop to the throat. Grab right leg, shatter knee cap. Knife to the heart. Prognosis: all guards dead, no alarms raised. Safe to continue mission.

Tyro'din's eye snapped open and he holstered his gun before switching his knife to his left hand. He forced himself back into the wall, hiding in the shadows. Ten seconds later guards two and three walked past. Five seconds later guard one followed. Immediately he acted. His right arm snapped out and connected to the guards throat, the guard let out a chocked gasp as a result. Stepping out of the shadows, Tyro'din lashed out his leg to strike at the soundless guard's left leg. While the guard is distracted with pain the bothan brought his knife round to drive it into the back of the guard's skull. He quickly wrapped his arms around the, now, dead weight before it could collapse to the fall. Hoisting it up he threw it at the second guard, sprinting forwards his targets before the body hit. As soon as the third guard had turned and pulled his gun, Tyro'din was already there and moving, re-aiming the gun it towards the second guard's head just before the trigger was pulled. As the final guard stared at his dead ally, in shock for a few seconds, Tyro'din struck. His hands lashed out to strike at the opponent's ears, disorientating him, before he silenced the guard the same way he did the first - with a knife hand to the throat. Dropping down he grabbed the disorientated guard's right leg and drove a fist sharply into the knee. With a crack the guard slouched in pain, bending over slightly and exposing his torso. Standing up smoothly Tyro'din drove his blade into the human's chest and killed him instantly with a strike to the heart.

The scene had played out exactly as Tyro'din had predicted and had taken less than ten seconds to play out. With a nod, Tyro'din scaled the building heading to the rendezvous point for the infiltration team. Arriving, he nodded at his old student [member="Mikkel Markov"] as he stopped beside him, and waited for the rest of the team to arrive.

I smiled. Taking just a second for a breather It was when I heard the sounds of three rounds piercing through the trashcan and smacking down into the ground. Looking down at myself, I could see two slug holes. One in my right arm, and one in my stomach area. I rolled my cybernetic eyes as I used my hands to push in the metal that was bent out. I felt no pain as I gathered my stuff. And once more began to run.

However this time, It was not across the street. but literally up a building.

I ran across the ground. And after jumping up, about eight spikes on each foot shot out to become much like cleats. Letting me run up the wall. Using my hands to pull myself up even faster, I reached the top. Vaulting over the railing as the spikes retracted back into my feet. I made very little sound as I ran across the roof. With the ability of being a droid, my running speed was much, much faster than any human or near human alive. I was across to the other side of the roof in less than two seconds to jump once more. Only the distance between myself and the glass window was too far for a simple jump.

Smiling as I activated the repulsors within my boots giving me a boots in midair to allow me to crash through the fifth story window. Rolling to a stop to lessen the impact and not break anything, I drew up my blaster rifle. Aiming at anything that moved.

Yet there was nothing. I let my rifle drop for a moment before I started to move again. As a sniper you had to move after a few shots or the enemy would find you. I looked out through the window to see a man climbing a building. I smiled as I watched from here. Crouching down, I walked forward to use a number of cubicals as a barrier should I be shot at.

Watching on what would happen as the man was what seemed to be.... waiting for someone.

Catalys ventured through the halls undetected and came to the regrouping point where [member="Mikkel Markov"] was.

"This is our plan of action; I disabled the ray shields. There's two entrances: A west entrance and a south entrance. You go towards the South entrance, it'll give you an elevated vantage point via a balcony.", he explained. There was no need to explain how and why he'd take the west entrance -- seeing as it wouldn't effect any strategy on part of his companion. Instead he waited for confirmation and to see if anyone else was heading in their direction, the agent hunkered down to lower his profile.

His IWS was now adjusted into the breach weapon system, an assault rifle with a grenade launcher attachment.

Before he was ready to move, "Any questions?"

Kitsune simply nodded in affirmation, keeping her holoprojector running as Kadri issued the command. It was not that she wanted in any way to defer to another individual, but at the moment it was most pragmatic. The six Muunificent-class Frigates sailed behind his Command Ship, while the two Ruin-class Siege Cruisers stayed at the far rear end of the line, slowly inching towards range of the overarching fleet. Considering the fact that the six Muunificient-class Frigates could only outgun the Venator-class Star Destroyer, they would need to rely on superior tactics and experience if they were to be victorious.

The ISS Mikoshi slowly approached the battlefield as well, and Kitsune waited for Kadri to launch the assault.

Mikkel nodded and started heading for the south entrance, motioning for [member="Tyro'din"] to follow. On their way to the balcony, Mikkel saw a guard standing in front of the balcony door. Without hesitation, Mikkel lifted his rifle and fired a suppressed shot into the guard's neck. Holstering the rifle, Mikkel pulled out his two knives and got in position at the door. When both he and Tyro'din were in position, Mikkel pulled out one of his flash-bangs and radioed [member="Catalys Maijora"]: "We're in position. On your mark we will breach and flash bang the room."

Mikkel looked at Tyro'din, and gave a thumbs up.

Harrip walked slowly towards the building that had been the target. He had been listening in while steadily moving closer and closer. The strategy seemed fairly straightforward and pretty foolproof. He just hoped that it would succeed. He was hoping that he would make it in time to join in. He had been running up until now, he was taking a moment to radio in.

"Harrip Far here. I'm about half a klick out from target. Heading in as fast as I can, orders?"

As he waited he made getting to the building as quickly as he could. He felt an exhilaration that was so uncommon in this time. He had spent so much time thinking about the past that he had rarely thought about the present. He had been snapped out of his thoughts many times, but he had found that it happened more and more now days. He wasn't certain whether or not that was a good thing, but what he did know was that it did give him more enjoyment at this time of life.

As his Sephi rounded up more for the will of the Gods. More came from the industrial region, good workers to build the engines of the Primeval. The use of their skills would be of good use to Legion.

"Find where these dogs came from...We want to gather more of their technology...Move these to the ship for processing. No one dies unless they force your hand..."

Legion walked with his Sephi Guard further into the city. Seeking the home of the engineers. He would seek out the Force, use its ability to set fire to the city, Pyrokinesis. He sought to flush out the home of the men he'd taken. The manufacturing district was his goal.

([member="Thurion Heavenshield"]- doing Force stuff. What's the result?)

*Rather than set fire to the city, the attempt turned into a display of fireworks as shapes of hearts and a big "I luv u" adorned the sky.*

When [member="Mikkel Markov"] gestured for him to follow he let out a short and quiet bark of mirth, it hadn't been that long ago that he had had to order Mikkel around for the duration of an entire mission, they were finally equals. As they approached the room and he heard his companion state that they were ready to breach, he holstered his weapons. Reaching the door he calmly began to pull explosive charges from his pouches and line the door's hinges with them. As soon as he was done he immediately set the off and watched as a soundless billow of smoke emerged showing the successful attempt at weakening the door. He once again pulled explosives from his pouch, this time heavy duty, and set them against the door. Priming them, he retreated and handed the controller to Mikkel for him to use when the all clear to advance was given before pulling his blaster pistols from their holsters, ready to go.

Watching and listening in on the conversation, they were going to breach inside. Smiling, I pulled out from behind the cubical Moving towards the smashed window. And literally allowed myself to fall down. Running once more to the building after them, I decided that a little help would be nice. Considering that one of them I had just shot at. Consider it a "Sorry" note.

While my blaster rifle was trained at the front door, They were taking some time to get around. Listening and watching earlier to see that the man I had shot at, and another were going to one entrance. and the lone man was going to another. I decided to go with the lone ranger guy. Coming up behind him, I made sure to make foot falls so he could hear me coming first. Having a rifle in your hands while you sneak up on them is not a good idea when all you want is a little talk.

I walked over to the entrance and braced my back against the wall.

"You turned off the particle shields, but did you think to also turn off the alarm system?"

I smiled with my robotic mouth at the man.

"So either I can let you walk through and die while I finish the job, or you can let me throw a frag out, walk in and take a few hits for ya, and shoot em up?"

I pulled out one of the BTI-Hex grenades that I had. Ready to pull the pin with just a yank of my thumb,

"Your choice fleshy."

Kitsune tapped her foot as she waited for Kadri. Deciding it was best to disengage from the battle altogether and inspect things on the ground, she moved towards her private quarters and commanded, "The ISS Mikoshi is regroup with more reinforcements. Inform the ISS Bravado, ISS Ultramarine, ISS Cerulean, ISS Vertex, ISS Confederate, and the ISS Stripes of Blue to continue their course of action."

"Call in the ISS Fatass." Kitsune ordered her adjutant.

The adjutant paused before retreating to the communications officer in order to determine what exactly the ISS Fatass was.

As most people with half a brain would in the given situation, the silhouettes in his vision panicked as their colleagues were shot dead on the spot without any warning. How they must have felt when the hot blood of their friends showered their surprised faces, bits of flesh and bone digging into clothes and skin. It was a dangerous sort of thrill xe felt each time xe took a life, a high that could easily get you addicted. In most cases, Laguz was good at avoiding murder unless it was absolutely necessary, but given the goals of Primeval and their allies, the shifter hardly had any other choice.

Besides, xe didn't really feel like sticking out xir own neck by poking around the administration building up close; no, xe was just fine right where xe was, naught but xir rifle visible on the balcony the sniper had chosen as xir camping spot. And unless you knew exactly were to look, that thin, matte black barrel would fit right in with the rest of the dirty urban environment, effectively rendering xem invisible.

Keeping the reticule trained on the fleeing shapes in xir vision, Laguz breathed out again, and a gentle squeeze of xir finger was all it took for another of those lives to be extinguished. The heady feeling of playing god boiled the blood in xir veins, egging xem on as xe took shot after shot, clearing the upper story of the edifice with a ruthless patience. Moving methodically from room to room, Laguz would soon turn the second floor into a veritable graveyard.

([member="Thurion Heavenshield"]-fantastic! I like the way you think man)

As the sky lit up with pyrotechnics filled with loving sentiment, the people of the planet were enthralled by the kindness that Legion had shown, they began to bow in respect to him. It was not how he'd usually gone about things, but love is a type of submission, he'd take what he could get in these trying times.

"Well, if you follow the Primeval, this will become a common occurrence...We shall show Our love to Our subjects and they will live prosperously...Kneel and be loved by your new God..."

Legion held his arms out, letting the image of his presence soak in to the people's hearts and minds. Maybe he Could be a god. [member="Dredge"] did well pretending it, so why couldn't he?

"We have dominated the people of the city...We are bringing subjects back with Us...We may be finishing this sooner than We thought..." He commed to [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]

(sorry, my muse was gone yesterday and I could not bring myself to type anything decent :/ )

"Where are my communications, officer? Why are they suddenly not working as you are claiming?"

"I'm sorry, sir. It seems that there is just a glitch in the system, they should be online within a few minutes."

"There is no time for a few minutes. Switch us to a radio blaster and aim at the Daimyo's fleet."

"Of course... Sir. Right-away.." The human officer quickly began typing into a keyboard display. Kadri looked back down to his own display, observing every input that this officer made. Communications had been down for a little bit now, he had suspected perhaps a slicer getting through the defenses working with the enemy, but the officers actions and timing with the upload was too perfectly timed to be a coincidence.

"Right then, boy. How did we pick you up."

"I was a smuggler, sir."

"Were you not originally from Dubrillion?"

The Officer paused for only a brief moment. Bug confirmed. Kadri began to take the plasma pistol off of his belt and pointed it at the officer.

"No sir."

"And you know full well the punishment of treachery aboard my ship?"

And in that moment the trigger was pulled. The plasma left a large black spot on the traitor's neck. Kadri brought up the communications display on his own, shut off the data stream to the enemy and restarted normal communication

"Do not worry, Daimyo. We had an insect that needed to be stomped upon. We should be entering long weapons range some time soon. I suggest that you prepare fighter-craft for launch. We will be doing the same. It seems that I will need to be the acting Communication officer aboard my own ship until I can find a decent replacement. Keep forward and weapons primed. That is all."

Catalys broke off and went separate ways, once he was at the entrance intended for his breach he received feedback from [member="Mikkel Markov"] who was with [member="Tyro'din"].

"Mark.", Catalys announced before breaching the door and firing a grenade round and diving for cover. Unfortunately since his attack was rather spontaneous the round went just over the targets and detonated behind them, still the chaos was enough for him to dive cleanly in cover and await the distraction from Mikkel which he would use to finish off his targets. Hopefully their plan would be without unwanted details... Little to their knowledge it seemed something rather extraordinary happened outside with [member="Darth Legion"] , perhaps things would end bizarrely.

Nonetheless there was a mission at hand.

Mikkel Markov

Exemplar of the Bleeding Sun
Mikkel signaled to Tyro'din to blast the charges on the door and tossed in the flash bang. Ducking behind cover, as soon as the flash bang went off Mikkel and Tyro'din ran in, assisting Catalys in eliminating the dazed targets inside the room. Mikkel himself jumped down and assassinated several with his knives, not wanting to waste ammunition in case they ran into trouble on their way out of the compound. Standing up from his last victim, Mikkel looked around to see he, [member="Tyro'din"], and [member="Catalys Maijora"] standing over a sea of bodies.

Mikkel used the shirt of one of the victims to wipe the blood off of his knives and sheathed them, drawing his K29 again. Taking a deep breath and sighing, Mikkel looked at Catalys: "So what're we doing next?"

Tyro'din

Worshipper Of Halrormalenth
When [member="Mikkel Markov"] gave the sign to blast the charges he grinned in feral manner, eager to begin. When the flash bang detonated he was glad the his HUD screen had dampened the light when he saw the dazed targets inside the room. Jumping into the fray he slashed out at those closest to him with his vibroknife, cutting their throats open before using them as human shields when he was shot at by guards who reacted the fastest, his blaster pistol would return fire from his fight hand as well as mow down targets to far away from him to get with the knife.

Leaning down, Tyro'din copied the actions of Mikkel in cleaning his knife. Placing it back in its sheath on his right thigh when it was clean. He holsters his pistol when he turned to [member="Catalys Maijora"], he pulled his rifle over his shoulder, and looked for his order from the senior member of the group.

The short conflict was over; the leaders and their guards hadn't stood a chance and luckily no one on the outside world knew they were dead.

When asked for new orders, "We hold position and await further --", he was cut-off when one of the military officers contacted him over the intercom.

This communication would be heard by anyone over their frequencies. ([member="Tyro'din"] , [member="Laguz Vald"] , [member="Mikkel Markov"] , [member="Darth Legion"], [member="Harrip"])

"A group of security personnel are on their way to your location. It seems they aim to put this riot down. Eliminate them and make sure they don't find those bodies.", the communication cut off after that.

Catalys looked over to Mikkel and Tyro'din, it seems that things just got a lot more complicated. "We'll hold position in this building -- don't let anyone into this room!", he ordered. Immediately he swapped out his IWS' breach system for the close quarters system. Taking his gun he went over to the door way that he came from and sealed it shut before firing at the control panel, effectively shorting it out. It'll take a slicer to fix it and that'll take time. Turning back around he then quickly jogged over to the entrance Mikkel and Tyro'din came in, going through the door and down the hall.

The factories that Alicia Drey entered showed the effects of Operation: Weedkiller. A joint effort launched by the Confrederacy of Independent Systems and the Fel Empire, Weedkiller saw the systematic purge of Circe Savan from their worlds, systems and regions of space. In the form of Subach Innes, the combined efforts of these galactic powers saw the destruction of property, the end of sale for Subach Innes in their regions and in some cases, the execution of personnel that worked for Subach.

With the end of Subach Innes near, Circe had moved the corporation away from the CIS and Fel's, but never recovered. Now, the CIS was known as the Abrion Corporate Alliance. The Fel Empire had fallen into dissary soon after their participation in the destruction of the Sith Empire, never to be seen again. Still, their legacy could be felt across the galaxy. People would never forget what happened to Subach Innes or Circe Savan.

Her tour of the factories told her that with some investment, they could be repaired and put back into functioning use. The problem was that an entire galaxy was under going one of the biggest catalysmic events in galactic history; and only a few decades seperated this one from the last. People and worlds were still recovering from the Four Hundred Year Darkness and now this had happened. You didn't require a tin foil hat to think that some form of consipracy was going on, going deeper than any government, world or person. It was like the Force itself wanted the galaxy to suffer.

Neutralizer II-class bombers, three of them, had been left abandoned in the first and second factory of a combined total of five. It came back to her that she had requestioned Subach Innes to begin construction of these type of bombers during her time as the Chancellor of the New Order. Dubrillion had been one of the worlds that had been used for their construction. They must have been the remnants of that order.

Climbing onto each vessel, she discovered that they were still slaved to the New Order, containing personal logs of the pilots who had once flown them and dates of construction. With each vessel, she removed the memory chips and purged the computer files. She then programed the proton torpedoes on board to detonate in one hour. Plenty of time to destroy anymore equipment she didn't want to fall into the hands of the new invaders that had come to Dubrillion.

As she climbed off the third and final bomber, making her way to a flight of stairs that led up into what she remembered as the office area for Subach Innes and the supervisors who once worked here, Alicia couldn't help but wonder who or what these people were. They had come on Bastion as well, when she had purchased several properties in and around the areas of Ravelin for Chandrila DataTech and now Hudrel Robotics, a recent addition she had made on Balmorra.

When she was done here, she decided that her gise as Alicia Drey would be over and that she would make contact as Darth Ayra. That way, she could discover who they were whilst protecting one of her identities.
