Kaili Talith
Forgotten, not gone.
“Couch it is then.” Kaili nodded and crossed the workshop towards a small unremarkable door. She dug through her pockets and withdrew yet another keycard. “There we go.”
She inserted the keycard into a nearly invisible slot in the wall and with it the sound of machinery emanated from the wall. One of the walls slid aside with a metallic whine only to expose a very clean living environment. It wasn’t particularly big, but after taking the first step inside it would almost make you forget all about the dust-ridden workshop. There was no dust here, in fact it seemed almost meticulously cleaned.
“I’m feeling better, by the way.” Kaili grinned as she stepped inside her home. “It’s not much, but it’s home. I wouldn’t ask for anything else.”
The place Allyson entered was like a whole other world. Maybe a bit too compact, but that was the point.
“Like I said, comfortably cramped.”
