~The Gunfighter of Andelm IV Part 1~

[member="Darman"]

A timed attack, these poor ferfeks have no idea what's heading for them. The dragon grinned and looked up to darman as she chuckled

nah I like what my role will be, ten men and one cannon before pushing to the base shouldn't be a issue at all, in fact I'll put a good show on for you above

She winked and smirked, more then ready for this plan to begin and show a little back water scum they werent the baddest thing around

The gunslinger smiled at her readiness for battle but once again pointed back towards the projector and hit another button. This time a large green radar signal appeared at the top of the main building.

"This is their comm relay. This has to be our first target - and remember you have to avoid these security vids..."

He pointed towards the three vids on her side of base

"And have your fun but don't get carried away. After you've gone they have to believe that I did this alone - and you can't be seen."

so itll be sabotage and run for me, doesnt slem to hard at all, if the cameras do catch me I'm nor worried much at all but your mission leader so I'll do my best to avoid detection by them

She said nodding her head as she offered a smile, everything was his orders and she would execute them as told. Pulling a blaster out she idly inspected it then put it away

so...how about lunch on my ship eh

Nods and points at the surrounding cameras. "Dont be afraid to destroy any of these..." His hand moved one by one to the security vids that would cover her half of the complex. "But this one here..." He whispered tapping the hologram near the center of the complex. "Leave that one, that's the one that needs to see me... if it doesn't backlash could fall on the citizens of Andelm IV, and I dont want that. These people have suffered enough."

The gunslinger watched her check her weapons clearly ready for the fighting to start. He wondered if she always got so jittery before a mission. He on the other hand was perfectly relaxed, breathing normal, pupils not even slightly dilated the only difference in him was the slightly quicker beating of his heart - and that had nothing to do with the battle to come. He shifted his weight and winced slightly as his knee buckled a bit, but he leaned more against the projector to compensate - as a result only dipping slightly.

"Your ship..." He nodded slightly and moved to a nearby cabinet taking a blue Stim vial from it and placing it in an injector before shooting it into his thigh. He shifted slightly and placed more weight on the knee before replacing the injector and turning back to her. "You would have more to eat than i have here, to be sure." He smiled back at her and raised an arm towards the landing ramp, collecting his coat with the other. "After you, Darlin'"

awesome, that gives me a little bit more play room with how I approach the camp they have. I know maybe it's not my place, but I can help get these people armed and trained....least a good amount they'd put up a fight

She was so much jittery, more like the fires of war flowed through her veins. She lived for the fight and heat of battle yet knew enough not to fully dip herself into it...a battle still required a stable mind. Looking over to him she noticed the dip and him wince as she moved a bit then stopped

bad knee? I wish I could say I know the same only issue I have with my legs is I need to eat a lot hahaha downside of genetically modified legs...

She seems to look off, most of her body was either modified or cybernetic it seemed...the results of going from army to army, war to war...

heh...yeah got to feed a whole crew so got plenty of course

She said and put her armor back on and exited offering a smile to him as she went down the ramp

The gunfighter watched her put her armor back on, making no show of hiding the fact that he was watching her either. The hint of genetic modification made him even more curious how much of her body was actually her. "You certainly have built yourself a beautiful body" He smirked slightly. He was given the option of genetic modification when he had injured his leg - there were also several cybernetic enhancements available at the time, he had chosen the pain and to remain himself.

"Though I am sure you were born with your natural beauty as well."

He mentioned after a few moments of admiring her. Then led her from the ship looking about the moment he hit the tarmac for any sign of trouble. He didn't expect one, but it had been second nature ever since he had come to this planet. He let Stardust take the lead from there, following the warrior back to her speeder.

more like required, my legs were cut off by a saber, one arm blown off, the other ripped off in a fighter clash...rest of my body is enhanced do to a super soldier project taller, faster, stronger...able to take in fine details easily...

She looked down remembering it all, then sighed to herself before looking over at him catching him staring as she gave a shy smirk and opened the speeder as she got I to the drove side and waited for him to enter before starting it

[/color] mmmm...as most twilek woman do hehe [/color]

She would take off for her freighter a massive ship that dwarfed most peoples ships nearby

He worked his large frame into the speeder and closed the hatch shifting slightly in the seat in attempt to get comfortable. Most things were not made for a person of his height - but Stardust was not much smaller than he was so this speeder was not as cramped as some he had packed himself into - luckily he was not in full armor like she was. The thought sent a string of dark humored thoughts through his mind as they zoomed away towards her ship.

"Sounds like you've been through it..." He whispered softly looking over to her - reaching out without hesitance and placing a hand on her thigh feeling it curiously before even realizing what he had really done. He didn't jerk his hand back - but looked up at her meeting her eyes before he pulled back his hand.

"Panatha had no shortage of beautiful women... but I envy the men of Ryloth growing up surrounded by such complexity and beauty."

[member="Darman"]

She felt his hand, she didnt react harsh but merely looked to meet his eyes before looking forward as she spoke

nearly three decades, I've roamed from army to army looking for a place to be able to be sent out again and again...

Listening, she smirked now having a good guess what his species was as she looked back over to him bring the speeder to land

Epicanthix are very how is it put...amazing species, human like and yet better, I'm to guess you are a Epicanthix?

She asked as she landed the speeder and turned it off

He raised an eyebrow at the name of his own species being sad aloud. He hadn't seen or met another Epicanthix in a long while - since his clan had been murdered by the last Mand'alor. He nodded slightly as the speeder came to a halt and he got out with her looking up at her ship.

"I was born on Concord Dawn, but yes... My parents taught me of my people's history, both of them - the Mandalorian's and the Epicanthix. A race of warriors and a culture of warriors... is it a surprised i turned out to be anything but...?"

The thought seemed to take his mind to a dark place and he was quick to change the subject. "Nice ship... what class is it?" The design looked familiar but he couldn't quite place the design. He looked the ship over before finally looking back at Stardust, skirting the ship to stand by her side.

Stardust looked over to him, about to speak but stopped as she exited, some things you just didn't bring up very much. Looking to her heavy freighter she smiled and nodded her head

heavy freighter, would you believe if I said I use it for my royal ship as well?

She said motioning for him to follow up into the cargo ramp, half the cargo had been unloaded already with the crew taking a break right now

this ship comes from the planet of imahalyan, mostly a farming planet and raw materials, I am queen of that one and zeltros but imahalyan I'm more of their figure head there to help

He followed her up into the bellow of the large ship - his eyes taking in everything a hand still resting almost self consciously on this gunbelt beneath his coat. He was only half listening to her as she spoke about the ship for a moment until she mentioned the planet Zeltros. He had known of it though he had never been there. It was considered by most to be a paradise - pheromones in the air so thick it was difficult for any but the most vial of men in the galaxy to think negative thoughts while on the planet. He was always curious if his own rather formidable mental defenses would stand against such a chemical reaction - or if his resistance was simply to the force, because of the region of space his people came from.

"Did you marry into the Zeltron Royal family - or did you simply capture the planet?"

He mused out loud as he followed her through the cargo hold of the ship. Taking a planet like that with anything but a droid army would be difficult, and he never knew a mandalorian to fight side by side with droids. They lacked the potential for any real glory that battle could bring. She had mentioned being a monarch - and mentioned a wife before but as far as he knew on Zeltros the men ruled. Though he could be mistaken - and things always change in a galaxy this big...

actually, I worked my way up helping the people, I've made slavery damn near non existent and the punishment for it...severe

She left it at that, the punishment was death....straight and simple. Leading him through to a good sized mess hall she turned to him

foods usually pretty good, when I need a bit more then my special meals I come here, gotta keep a high calorie intake due to my legs

She said and chuckled moving towards the line, some of the crew already setting down and chatting but looked up seeing the newcomer before returning to their conversations

He followed her through the line for food and collected a plate after her moving with her to a table. His head constantly looking about, not afraid to meet the eyes of anyone looking his way. He may be an exile, and it may show in his eyes, but he was not ashamed of who he was - only what brought him here.

"I dont much complain about grub... anything is better than the MRE's i've been working off of for the last several months."

He started eating, but kept his eyes moving about the crew, and the open room. When he was sure the room had acclimated to his presence he returned the majority of his attention to the Twi'lek sitting opposite him - though remembered to this lot here she was their queen, their commander - so his mannerisms towards her changed slightly.

"Do you often accompany your own outreach missions to backwater planets?"

[member="Darman"]

most of the time I need high calorie meals made much higher then the normal person, so rations and my little meals is usually what I eat unless its say going out to dinner with someone

She grabbed a plate and sat down as she started eating, she looked up to darman and finished chewing as she smiled

I do, I enjoy exploring in fact thats what I did for awhile in my life, but never went out this far before so you know

He nodded as they ate, thinking of what he had seen of the universe in his life. "There isn't much out here worth seeing." He took another mouthful of the food and shrugged his shoulders slightly to fill the silence. "Desperate people, and those that take advantage of them. People too poor, too weak, or too stupid to change the cards they've been dealt and just try to survive with them." Even on Concord Dawn if you were not a part of the Warrior class you had a life, It was an agricultural planet and a farmers life was fulfilling and peaceful. "On this planet you work for the Crime-lords... or you work in the mines. If you're lucky enough you don't end up beetle food and get to bring your family enough food to survive until morning. The other planets are not much better." He may have had a jaded opinion of the universe since his exile - but there was no error in his words, or his take on Andelm IV. It was not a place where kindness and opportunity were allowed to prosper.

[member="Darman"]

She took a bite and chewed it for a bit on his words, seemed like nar shadda...did what you had to for who ever offered it just so you could make it day to day. Swallowing she looked over to him again

yeah...but just maybe we can relieve these people a little, if need be next load I bring will be charity distributed evenly to everyone not just the crime lords....or I can just start helping take them out

She said and shrugged taking another bite

He had finished half his meal before he had realized it but still her words brought him out of it and he looked at her raising an eyebrow. He considered it for a short moment, He didn't question that they could clear out one or two of them but the entire planet full of Crime Lords? Even if they did succeed what would become of the planet and its people afterwards?

"I have no doubt we could... But I do not have a mind to take responsibility for this planet."

He spent the next few moments considering the implications of what life would be like - how the population would take to freedom - while he finished off the rest of his food and shook his head slightly

"I'm not sure if they are ready for it or not... they would just allow it to happen again."

[member="Darman"]

She nodded her head, finishing her meal she moved the plate to the side and focused on the man before her as she closed her eyes in thought. He was right this planet may just allow it to happen again...

you've a point...but...maybe we can least make it a little easier, once I'm home again I think next trip I'll see what the locals think of having a few guards around

"If I am any indication... you add more guns to this place, all it will create is bloodshed."

He looked around at the group of people still about the room. Some may have been warriors, but most of them were just crew stuck on the same ship running the same trips through space over and over. It was their life, but much like the people of this world they were used to the way things were. Every single one of them over the course of the last few minutes had looked at him - sizing him up, wondering who he was why he was there. And he was with their Queen. He could only imagine the hostility he would have received had he been alone."

"That is my life... I will endure that until I die. But what you intend will bring war to a people that have never seen it before. What i intend may end the same way, but it will not be by my hand. The Peace makers will make that choice."
