The Hunted (Apprentices/Padawans/Initiates)

Krest followed her up, his hands behind his head. With his saber back he was much calmer, moving with @[member="Edison Bulkhead"] to the top of the hill. In truth the terraforming wasn't really a major bother to the Zabrak. "I'd rather get off the planet before we figure out what's going on. Remember the Chiss. I got a feeling it would be best if we focused on leaving. Or surviving. Which ever comes first."

"I'm with you," replied Edison, holding on to a thin tree for balance as she began moving down the far side of the hill. "Come on, follow me. But stay back a ways. In fact, keep watch for those filthy bastards who decided to bring us here. I'm going to get us a ride."

Edison reached out with the Force, eyes on the acklay she'd spotted earlier. It must've come to land to hunt, she reasoned. Hope she's eaten already. As she closed the distance, the horrible beast spotted her and lowered it's head, turning it this way and that as it took her in. Edison smiled, approaching confidently, using the Force to exude both peace and friendship. Finally, she stood before the monster and calmly touched her forehead to the thing's chitinous muzzle.

"I'll get on first," she called softly to @Krest. "Then you climb up behind me. Slowly and calmly. No sudden moves. Acklay can sense fear. Also, she doesn't like your smell, so..." The Dathomir Witch left the sentence unfinished.

Krest raised a brow at [member="Edison Bulkhead"], watching her walk off. He slipped his hands behind his head and just followed, chuckling. "Filthy bastards yeah.." He didn't really care who they were, only that they would meet there end soon enough. Then came the acklay. He watched the girl sooth the beast, and he smiled. Someone was actually good at it. And the beast didn't like his smell. He grinned, holding up his own hand. Edison wasn't the only one who was good at bonding with animals.
