So, regardless of any oppinions for or against invasions or a cold war, or what faction it involves.

Should we not get folks involved? Send mass pms, ask allies to join in, discuss tactics? Something? Or is it too early?

And also, if you are in any discussion about the invasion rules, and taking requests - I would like to see an objective/option of single duels not including NPCs. Because that is so messy for me.

The moment you make things remotely difficult for the sith or attempt to build up a solid defense without hand waving it and actually working for it you get reported. The One Sith aren't really about story here, it's about winning. So I say try to ask the silvers for help, cause you know. Anything you do IC is automatically evil and bad and against fair play of galactic conquest.

As I've said in another thread, I've had limited interactions with the One Sith and I can only react upon secondary sources and from second hand accounts of people saying what they've heard or read in other threads about the One Sith. ​

However, if they're going to immediately report an individual because you want to make them work for an objective by building up defenses, or actually having a story behind your character and a planet, then there is a large problem. ​

I've searched the boards and I've found no mention of a Republic Invasion of Balmorra. If it is currently happening and we need to focus on it, then I would like a link; if it is still in the works, then clarifying your statement would be helpful as it would prevent others from thinking theres a stalled Republic Invasion out there somewhere. ​

[member=Cristina Zeitlin] What Braith said. I only mentioned it because when the moment comes for us to press for our right to initiate our invasion first, we may lack the momentum to do so if we're all thinking "Oh, well then why I have been thinking about the other invasion all this time?"

Having the opportunity to strike first is important as the resulting victory/loss may affect the details of the invasion following it. Sometimes it's better to go first.

Surely though, as they committed a little to our major offensive, they could, at the same time commit vast amounts of damage to contruum, thus losing it for us, and a splitting our faction in two?

The way to avoid drama is to not use the OOC thread for discussing what is being done IC in argumentative fashion. If you or they have an issue you make them/yourself bring it to a PM.

I usually don't delve into that stuff anyway. Way too confusing and unorganised.

Unfortunately most invasions are determined by PvP. To require an objective based invasion becomes more work in communication for the FA teams. Even if they are agreed on, the determination of whether that objective is complete when the invasion close tends to be determined by who had more PvP wins.

PvP the reason I don't participate in invasions. No one wants to lose and most people cheat regardless of sides. I'm in most major factions around here and everyone complains about everyone else.

Story based RP for me only thanks...

Generally there's a difference between giving 'constructive criticism' and sounding like a semi-passive aggressive knee-jocker with a sheb-stick up their ass.
I've seen a lot of both sides sliding towards the latter lately.
