Most of the troops and different units did well with their duties on the various ships. Perhaps the best were Frank and Tovald, who were well ahead of the others. True, they were on a ship with others that didn’t really take its share of the fight. The other ships were just more important in this regard because those attacked the fleet. They, like everyone else, soon received a message from Cal.

<< This is Fleet Admiral Osborn to all Eternal Imperial and Ally units! Slowly end the sabotage actions! The third phase has begun! You have roughly twenty minutes to leave the enemy ships. Prepare to blow up the targets. It has to happen at the same time so that they don’t have time to fix them. If you are able to turn off the shield and weapon systems, do it. The blast happens later. There are 22 minutes left until the Quantum bombs are fired! >>

The fight was more like a slaughterhouse than an actual battlefield. Although this was customary against Bryn'adûl. Inside troops, assassins, and infiltrators reported in a row that the explosives were there at designated targets and set out to leave the planet. Their work is roughly over here.

Meanwhile, out there, the 267th team fired another wall, allowing Allied forces to attack in an even bigger place. Meanwhile, the enemy horde attacked them in the direction of the trenches, so even the simple warriors had quite a lot to do to protect their vehicles. That's when Cal's command arrived:

<< This is Fleet Admiral Osborn to all Eternal Imperial and Ally units! All ground teams start the retreat! The third phase has begun! They have roughly twenty minutes to leave the surface. Prepare to blow up Superconstruct. Priorities vary as follows; evacuation is paramount and prevents the enemy from leaving the planet. There are 22 minutes left until the Quantum bombs are fired! >>

The fierce battle between the three sides continued in the swamp as well. Sure, the Maw was now helping the enemy, but from that they were still considered enemies and a separate side. At least in the eyes of the Eternal Imperials. The combat continued on all sides. The circle grew smaller and smaller. Due to the size of the area, it is still huge, but it was not a quick process.

Of course, there were losses on the 267th side as well, as such an operation always involves losses, but with that the Imperials counted. That's when the order arrived from the High Command:

<< This is Fleet Admiral Osborn to all Eternal Imperial and Ally units! All ground teams start the retreat! The third phase has begun! They have roughly twenty minutes to leave the surface. Prepare to blow up Superconstruct. Priorities vary as follows; evacuation is paramount and prevents the enemy from leaving the planet. There are 22 minutes left until the Quantum bombs are fired! >>

Cal did what the other ships asked of him and Empress nearly destroyed one of the ships when the man received a message from Ingrid. There were only two words, "third phase." From this, the man already knew what to do. Just in time, because the enemy extra fleet has just arrived. Thus, the man first sent a message to the ground units.

After that came those who were on board the various ships.

Meanwhile, more shots were fired at the Heir, hoping to destroy it, and cannon or missiles opened fire on Badar's Butcher ship.

The 'Kath Hound' rang out regardless of whether or not it hit its target. In the smoke of the grenade the Mandalorians ability to see his prey also wasn't impaired. The Buy'ce he wore had several different fields of vision it could afford him from the ultraviolet and infrared to night vision. In this case it seemed likely that Naimes would rely on either the ultraviolet or infrared spectrums to keep track of his opponent.

In fact when she activated her lightsabers it made it easier for him to detect her. Yet still the 'Kath Hound' rang out, firing and firing. Forty rounds lasted a long time, especially when you were squeezing them off one by one. It was around now that Naimes felt that odd sensation though, a strange nausea that crept into him and the interrupt of his equilibrium that caused him to stumble backwards until his back hit a corridor wall.

The Mandalorian was shook, blaster fire from the opposition would have found easy targets if the other Tenebrim were as affected. A few stray shots would have struck him as well but his Beskar'gam afforded him enough protection that these were an inconvenience, unable to penetrate his protective shell and deflecting off of it. For Naimes the greater issue seemed to be coming from the sensations filling him.

Another shot from the 'Kath Hound' and another after that. It didn't matter if they weren't hitting the woman he was still firing it. Then nothing. At long last the canister would have ran dry, Naimes discharged it on the floor while trying to steady his mind and reached for another to load into place....

All of the fights that the Warlord had participated in had led him to this point. To this moment where he was faced with the real threat of destruction at the hands of a nigh unbeatable foe within the bounds of a confined place. Around him were his brethren and the leaders who had taken the reins of their organization when the Titan had abandoned them, but these were not the mighty and valiant warriors that their progenitor had been. Tathra would have simply snapped the woman in half or else obliterated her with a clap of his hands... instead the Ish'makra listened to Osam's voice and began to retreat.

Shadowy wisps latched onto the living things scattered throughout the room, snapping into their vital force and leaching it from them in an instant, gradually suckling away life as though it were something that could simply be torn from a body. Osam too felt the latching of these uncanny shadows, though he did not allow the sensation of hunger and thirst to disorient or dissuade him from his ultimate task.

Even as the first member of the Ish'makra collapsed to the ground - one of the elders who had been present longest with the ruling body - the Warlord drew his Kukri and unleashed a desperate charge at the witch, even as she cut down a pair of far mightier Baedurin. The Baedurin always relied on their strength... they always thought they would be the strongest persons on the field of battle... it was a mistake that had been exploited often by their opponents.

Osam, Risen-Sraelvun, did not make this mistake. He knew that stripped of his hide as he was, he was no stronger than he had been for the vast majority of his life, though the Kraemonen did still wrap about his form. Kukri extended outward like he was making a sacrificial offering, the hybrid slammed the blade toward his opponent, hoping to catch them beneath the throat, and sliding his oft-hand across her limbs, hoping that the claws there might somehow inflict enough pain that she was thrown off-balance.

Even if reason stated otherwise. Even if he could hear the screams of his people being cut short by new intruders. Even if blood lapped at his feet.

Vengeance at all costs.

There was no time for contemplation now that the battle had reached its zenith, only action and reaction, and the Worm-Mind worked overtime attempting to reconcile the desire for an overarching strategy with the necessity to keep its allies alive.

The reinforcing fleet continued pressing forward, beginning to fire into the rear guard of the Eternal Empire's forces, though the defensive formations that were being employed by the foe meant that these attacks were bound to be less effective than if they had stricken directly into the unguarded group. The Debauchers within the reinforcing fleet immediately sped forward, attempting to close on the foe so that they might latch onto them, though the incoming fire from the enemy was immense. A few of the blows landed upon the Annihilators instead, as a result of their massive presence - but these blows were too sparing and light to cause any real damage.

It turned its attention to the Shards, watching as only a handful of them were able to slam into the nearest Ashkelon frigate while the others were rent into star dust by a mixture of the defensive emplacements of the frigates and the interceptors that had been dispatched after them. Gradually, the Worm-Mind observed as the fire pouring into the two remaining Conquesters reached its pinnacle, as the assault by so many foes bore down on them, and the crushing weight of the enemy became untenable. It watched as the first Conquester evaporated into a cataclysmic detonation, followed by the second mere moments later, their positions gradually being overtaken by the Eternal Empire fleet as it pressed its advantage.

The Sraeljoarsk was a veteran's warship - it knew it's duties well - and it performed a last ditch effort admirably, maneuvering so that it might ram into one of the lead vessels of the Empire, though its destruction was assured either way. The Kraemonen Support Craft were not built to sustain a great deal of firepower. Gradually, one after the other, the minute escorts were popped, leaving only a pair to buzz throughout space, attempting to dissuade their coming annihilation by means of retreat.

From the Glory and the Apathy spewed a number of Phedraks and Shriek Interceptors, apparently attempting to screen the remainder of the reinforcing fleet from any foes that assailed them, but unwilling to venture far from the capital ships and lose the protection of their point-defense weapons.

Steve continued to wait for the Bryn’adûl Sniper to finish climbing up the cliff. It seemed to be taking an unusually long time, considering how fast the Bryn’adûl usually climbed. That was when he received a transmission.

“Could this situation possibly get any worse?” Steve muttered to himself. In order to get back to where the evacuation ship was parked, he was going to have to climb back down the cliff, get past the Sniper, and run back to the ship within 22 minutes. Unfortunately, he would have to leave Patrick behind, as Steve wasn’t strong enough to carry an Ultranaught in full armor down a cliff within the constrained amount of time he had. He wasn’t even sure if the coma Patrick was in was any better than being dead. Steve was considering all of this when the Sniper finished ascending the cliff, beginning their duel.

< ~ Cal, phase three! ~ > she sent a message to her former fiance, her best friend, her Fleet Admiral.

Moments later, she heard the command issued. The endgame has begun. When she swung towards the soldiers and warriors, she did not interrupt the drain of life force. They were already trapped. After all, who had the right to kill a group of monsters? To another monster. And Ingrid had considered herself that for a very long time. Others do not; but she does. Her blades easily killed the warrior rushing towards the first two. The injuries caused by Osam outside were slowly beginning to heal. The bruises she acquired when she crashed into the wall are gone. The burns were not, they were much more severe.

She saw the rushing Warlord, raising her own blades, which managed to move the opponent's swords so far out of their orbit that they would not cause limb loss. The opponent's blades still cut the woman's armour and her chest, cutting her flesh. But the woman had no blood. Black smoke came out of the wounds Osam had caused. It hurt like hell, yes; but the woman tolerated the pain with clenched teeth under her helmet, making no sound. She was still draining the enemies' life force. Never show weakness!

She grabbed members of the ruling council even more strongly in the Force, speeding up the process. The injury made the movement harder and slower. It turned in her head for a moment to steal Osam's anger. But no, she didn't want to humiliate her opponent. She slid her own blades down, so now for a few moments her chest and upper body became defenceless again. She had to do this to what she wanted, placed the swords within the space created by Osam's arms (inside area of arms), and then tried to cut off both of Osam's arms around his elbow by moving her blades outwards in two directions at once.

Warlocks (30x)- Force wielding ground commanders loyal to The First Warlock (Sethrak)Currently at The Plains

The Arena, "The Killing Grounds", inside The Nether
"Tathra!" Sethrak called out in shock as The Titan stepped out from the mists. He didn't know what to do, he was frozen, his fear was now adrenaline. Tathra was alive, or at least he seemed to be. His face was not blurry like those of the others, and he was here, in this arena. Had he been captured and forced to fight for his survival this whole time? Was this part of some plan to save The Bryn'adul before most realized they were failing?

His excitement became cautious optimism as The Titan simply stood there, axe in hand, staring at The First Warlock. Meanwhile the crowd cheered with howls, battle cries, and shrieks. With The Titan out of the mists, Sethrak made some observations. The Baedurin Chieftain's armor was battered, and there were cuts around his arms that did not bleed. The Chieftain's face was without expression as he stared at Sethrak. The world stood still.

"Chieftain, we have a way out, we must go. The Bryn'adul are failing."

Like Lightning Tathra moved, striking Sethrak across the face with his off hand. The Aerevalin Warlord was sent flying several yards back, landing on his hands and knees. His entire face felt numb, yet pain was there. He sat there for a moment until he realized what was happening. Tathra was moving toward him seemingly in slow motion. Then with one more step for momentum, The Titan lifted his axe and brought it down toward the dazed Warlock.

Urgency and adrenaline took over as Sethrak lept out of the way. Still on the dirt, Sethrak rolled over his right shoulder as he landed from his dodge. As he did, he positioned his right leg in a hiking position. Then he pushed off of it, flying upwards at an angle toward The Titan. He thrust his Khukri toward Tathra's abdomen but his blade never reached its' target as Tathra grabbed The First Warlock's forearm with his left hand.

Sethrak panicked, with no way to escape the iron grip. He had no way to dodge the Titan's right fist, still gripping the axe, as it slammed into his face. Again The Warlock went flying, but this time his own arm pulled him back as Tathra yanked it toward him. Sethrak couldn't tell what was happening. The next thing he knew, he was being thrown against the walls of The Arena. He howled as he hit the wall, falling like a rag doll.

Desperate, he cried out, "Tathra, please! It's me! It's Sethrak!"

There was no response, and now it was clear to The Warlock that this was not Tathra Khaeus. At least, not anymore. This place had claimed The Titan just as it had claimed the others. Sethrak needed to get up and fight, there was no way to reason with the taken chieftain.

He tried to get up, fighting the sharp pain that shot through his spine and limbs. He needed a weapon. Quickly he glanced around the arena. His Khukri was far from him, and the only weapons were in the stands, held by the observing Faceless. Calling on The Force, Sethrak summoned lightning, shooting it not at Tathra, but at the ground near him. It was a ruse as The Warlord sprinted past The Titan. It worked. Sethrak then jumped up into the stands and grabbed a Val Shae spear from a faceless warrior.

Now he had The High Ground, and a weapon, but he knew that he was still completely outmatched. This was no longer a fight to save The Bryn, or The Titan. Now it was a fight to save himself...

Kru'kk, Valmerk and Var'Schmark:

The man-thing was fleeing. At least, that was how it appeared as it scurried its mass along the valley walls. We're he not still wearing his helmet, Kru'kk would have had great difficulty hiding his feral smile. The main force had been left defenceless... and he was sure the remaining soldiers knew it.

In truth, if questioned, Kru'kk found a slowing respect build for his adversary. Unlike most opponents he had faced before, this machine man had elected to stay and fight against them instead of running. It would be inevitably foolish but noble all the same. As it was, almost in a maccabe unison, the three Zealots holsters their blasters and opted for their Kurigasami- with Kru'kk instead pulling out his favoured Barad Glaive. He knew they would missed precious seconds attempting to dodge the newly formed aerial attacks of the man- thing. Thankfully, he didn't need them to exterminate the rest of the inferior forces.

Across, the valley, Kru'kk caught sight of Gal'Zhoren and Ort'nem rushing from their temporary cover and into the fray.
"Get close, Minors. Let's make this good!" Kru'kk bellowed with a mixture of steeled determination and sadistic glee.

It would be difficult, the major knew, for the enemy commander to aquire a clear target without some significant friendly fire. But perhaps that was the point. Maybe this wall all a test from the enemy.

If that was the case, Kru'kk would find him respecting the man-thing all the more.

Gal'Zhoren and Ort'nem

In total, it hadn't been too long until the cavalry had arrived from Kru'kk's attack team though, to a soldier that lived to kill, it had felt like they had been waiting eons.

The two Zealots didn't hesitate as the fighting engaged. If course, it was impossible to reach them without guarantee of receiving some blaster fire for their troubles.

Gal'Zhoren recalled the rapid movement of the enemy commander to the upper sections of the valley. The sudden change came almost as a surprise to him. Be hadn't expected such a tactic- but then, he hadn't expected to be seen either. For the first time in a while, they faced a worthy adversary- not that he'd admit it of course.

They rejoined the rest of the strike team and closed the distance of the valley where the Level of damage had caused Ort'nem to remove his helmet. It wasn't too long before the butchering began.

Xanlatt:

Xanlatt had closed the distance to the marine. Initially, he had been surprised that the marine could see him at all but supposed the close proximity made certain details harder to ignore. To this end, Xanlatt reached to his holster and deactivated his cloaking Device.

Though he was relatively certain the marine had received at least basic training, Xanlatt was pleased St the instinctive flinch of movement in reaction to his appearance.

In a single instant, he surveyed his opponent. The man was smaller than anticipated yet hardened with resolve. Xanlatt observed the one handed marine who was still being treated by the other. The marine looked fat worse than after the initial blast.

Xanlatt let out a low, rumbling breath as he raised one outstretched hand towards the injured marine.

"You do not want this fight".

Summary of actions:
The Strike team is mostly reunited in the valley as they charged at the marines in the valley grounds.
Meanwhile, Xanlatt approaches Steve and enters a stand-off

Eina didn't seem to notice anyone yet that she was here and went against the wall. So she took on her natural form again and moved on. She communicated with others during her work. She heard there were losses among the infiltrators; it was natural, even if it was easy to move here because there were few inside, most of the enemy fought outside. After a while, she didn't feel that earlier aura either, so she could move even more calmly. The Valkyrja installed additional charges. There were two more left of her part when she heard Cal's message.

Valkyrja sighed; she hoped she would have more time for all this, but she didn’t. True, the time said was plenty. For her, even a moment is enough to leave this place. The explosion is likely to take place in front of the bombs. So she goes even further and soon reaches her next point. The woman was usually caring and caring, but the fight against evil was different, with Bryn'adûl trying to pollute even the Netherworld. They had to stop them for the sake of the Galaxy.

However, the distances were too great, Eina received a message that others had already placed explosives around her last point. However, there were many who were far from getting out, so they would not have reached the right point. That’s why they talked and marked a meeting point inside to meet there and Eina takes them to Netherworld. So the woman after two teleports was already there.

All she had to do was wait for the agents.

Her dark and blackened tongue licked her cracking lips, a by-product from her own crystals and the Dark Side, she fought everyday to hide from those of her company. Her crystals weren't killing her, they were corrupting her into a monster fit for horror writers to shudder at. That tongue, licking her lips like poisoned candy, danced in unison with her eyes as she watched her nemesis struggled to control himself. In her pride and confidence, she lost herself in the vanity of killing this armored man, that one slug hit her in the left shoulder, another in her right leg; staggering her killing strike.

Pain wasn't the issue, as more of surprise to her that she was struct. Pausing her ghostly approach, she took stock of her leg seeing it was a mere flesh wound; nothing concerning. However, her left shoulder bore a hole of a see-through. Reaching across her frame, she stuck the index finger from her right hand inside; swirling it about. That, in estimate, would require some surgery or another possible cybernetic chip or implant. Around this time, the smoke began to evaporate, the Force returning to her like a creeping, dying child seeking comfort deep inside her vacant womb.

Gliding across the floor quickly via the aid of the Force, drawing her into breaths length of her opponent, and finally slamming in devastation fashion her right cybernetic hand upon his throat; invading that minute space between helmet and shoulder. Her arm's pressure could crush him instantly, making her squirm sexually at the prospect of hearing bones snap and pop. Instead, she did something outside of who she was.

Leaning into the man, his Mando whatever creation helmet sparing him from her putrid breath from her previous consumptions of flesh, she spoke in a dark, twisted, and absolute voice.
"You wear the armor of a proud warrior....you need not die today. Instead, my Empress is seeking to bring you kids under her protection. Join the Eternal Empire, live out your life until you reach a true warrior's death. These creatures whom walk with....are rank with extinction!"

Warlocks (30x)- Force wielding ground commanders loyal to The First Warlock (Sethrak)Currently at The Plains

The Arena, "The Killing Grounds", inside The Nether
Sethrak stood above The Titan, taking a defensive posture with his spear. He had high ground, a slightly superior reach, and a moment to catch his breath. The moment passed as Tathra approached him, slashing with his axe in one hand at Sethrak, who stepped back, avoiding the blade by an inch. Then he retaliated, jabbing the spear at Tathra's torso. The Titan was too fast, side stepping the spear and batting it away with his offhand. Sethrak retracted the blade as Tathra prepared another strike, this time at The Warlock's legs. Sethrak lept into the air, over Tathra, landing behind him and thrusting toward his legs.

The Titan turned on the ball of his feet before Sethrak's blade was half as far as it needed to be, then backhanded The warlock. This time he was prepared for the backhand, ducking. However his strike was interrupted by The Titan, and yet another effort was easily defeated. The 7"5 Warlock began to wonder if he truly had a chance against the massive 9"4 Baedurin. Normally his abilities to control The Force, and his agility would be enough, but Tathra was fast....much faster than the average Baedurin.

But he could not face defeat, not now. Even if he couldn't bring Tathra back from The world of the dead, there could be others. There had to be others...

The Warlock had reminded himself what he was fighting for. It was Kelodtherra, Hrajlmak, Primarch Drek'ma, Galak, and so many others that had perished or vanished for The Crusade. Not only was it them, it was the living. Osam, Ostak, Gordrak...his friends, his brothers.

With newfound energy, The Warlock looked Tathra in the eyes, then he attacked with a flurry of strikes, Left Right Left Right Up Down Left but each strike was deflected by The Titan. Sethrak continued, attacking from every angle he could with his spear, just like so many Sith and Jedi had done before. Even if he didn't hit The Titan, perhaps he could wear him down. Then with one massive blow, Sethrak split his own spear in half....on Tathra's left shoulder. The blade was about an inch past The Titan's armor. It was far from lethal, but now Sethrak knew he could win the battle.

With the second half of his spear, Sethrak adopted a reverse grip as if it were a knife, then sliced diagnally at Tathra's chest. It scraped harmlessly off The Titan's chest armor, but Sethrak was already attacking again, driving the knife down at an angle from his own left should to Tathra's left shoulder, the wounded one.

Tathra jumped back, avoiding the knife.

Sethrak pushed his advantage, focusing his rage into a wave of lightning. Tathra raised his hand, absorbing the blast with his hand. Sethrak had forgotten the gauntlet. Force abilities were all but useless against The Titan, so instead Sethrak bent down and drew his Culler Knife from his boot. Now he had two short range blades. Calling on The Force again, this time to aid himself rather than harm Tathra, The Warlock sprinted forward with speed, then jumped, bringing his half spear down at an angle with his right hand. Tathra blocked with his offhand, the armor deflecting the spear. Meanwhile Sethrak brought his culler knife forward with his left hand, striking Tathra in the gut. It bypassed the armor, striking flesh. Tathra grunted, kicking Sethrak back. The Warlock landed in a backwards roll, the threw his Culler knife at The Titan.

Tathra caught the blade, tossing it aside and moving toward Sethrak.

But for Sethrak this battle was over. He sprinted toward the spectators, jumping over the first row, landing between them and the next row. Then he turned around, looking at The wounded Titan. "I will return for you, Tathra. I swear it." And then he was gone, sprinting away from The Arena, toward his next challenge.

Tremor Sensors in the Mandalorians feet, one of many enhancements he'd received over a lengthy career would alert him to the fact of an actual physical creature coming closer to him when the woman closed the gap between them by gliding across the floor. While Naimes might be hallucinating slightly and also nauseated from the strange sensations he was feeling it seemed reasonable that this creatures tricks couldn't deceive cybernetics like they could a mans mind, his body, etc.

No doubt there was little Naimes could do though. When Ladybug Ladybug slammed into him the 'Kath Hound' fell from the Mandalorians grasp, skittering across the floor of the corridor away from him and well out of reach. He felt her cybernetic hand as it took him by the neck and felt himself thrown back into the wall of the corridor with bone jarring effect. It seemed he was beaten. All Naimes could do was activate the Toxin Dispersal System integrated into his Beskar'gam and spliced into the hardware of his HUD on impact. Unlike the grenade which delivered the Ixetal Cilona similar to a smoke the dispersal system released it in a completely more oxidized fashion, it was almost invisible and more potent this way too.

Nonetheless the Mandalorian seemed to have found himself at the disadvantage and his right hand would instinctively go for the wrist of the cybernetic hand grappling his throat...

"You..."

...he'd start to rasp, the crackling of his comms conveying some tension in his voice...

"You don't...understand."

...the hand on her wrist struggled further. Then it happened. No warning. Tension of the forearm was all that the Mandalorian needed to activate the CryoBan Projector integrated into the left arm of his armor. It activated all but instantly. At such close quarters, within 'a breaths length' of one another the personal space of the two of them and the corridor would have been flooded with super-cooled synthetic compounds. A single burst from the CryoBan Projector at a distance could completely encase a Wookie in carbonite if it hit cleanly and unloading the entire five bursts that the projector held could freeze a Rancor solid. He'd seen cybernetics attempting to resist the embrace of the chemicals shatter into countless pieces too. To be sure Naimes would unload at least four bursts in a consistent stream.

And that hand that had struggled around her wrist, it closed tighter too ensure she couldn't just retreat away from him. Leaning into him she may have also deprived herself the ability to see it when it happened.

"I'm already extinct."

...those words, crackling over the comms as the CryBan Projector unloaded could seem a mystery. He was an Icarii after all, a race notable for their difficulty to be killed yet almost completely wiped out ages ago. He had no race to speak of, only the people synonymous to the Beskar'gam he wore.

The Mandalorian was a cagey hunter, he'd faced many Force Users in the past. Overconfidence, it seemed was universal to them all.

Cheers of victory echoed throughout the bridge as the two conquestors finally gave way to the weight of fire thrust upon them by the Eternal Fleet, with the only souls aboard the Retribution remaining stoically silent being the command staff, chief among them Aximand. The elimination of the two Bryn’adul warships was an achievement of course, but they weren’t out of the woods yet; particularly due to the arrival of yet another reinforcement fleet. The presence of the CIS fleet kept the balance of power still in the Eternal Fleet’s favor, but not by a very wide margin. For now, Aximand would focus on clearing out the remaining vestiges of the original fleet. It was just when he was about to give the orders to focus on the carrier that the enemy commander performed a truly desperate maneuver - The Sraeljoarsk pushed itself into the Oberon’s broadside. Despite frantic efforts to focus further firepower into the fore-section of the ship, there was no stopping the inexorable advance as it plowed into the cruiser’s port broadside.

With a violent shudder, the port deflector shields failed causing the reactor to surge. Power blipped off as the reactor’s failsafe protocols prevented catastrophic overload at the same moment as numerous decks suffered hull breaches from the impact. Emergency power quickly kicked on, with emergency collision sirens blaring throughout the ship’s command deck. Bulkheads on the affected decks immediately sealed from the atmospheric breaches, but not before nearly a hundred crewmen were vented into space. It would take awhile for the main reactor to reset and allow for the ship to continue firing into the carrier, but meanwhile the other ships within the fleet wasted little time attempting to disable the carrier’s propulsion systems. The remaining demeton, together with the retribution corvettes and Commodore Aximand’s flagship set about targeting key systems on the Bryn’adul ship to disable her.
”We need to push her free of the Oberon, otherwise the explosion that would follow its destruction would likely destroy our cruiser as well. Target her life support systems and rear engines. Once they are taken down, order the remaining ships to tow it free.”

The segment of the fleet accompanying the Retribution set about complying with Aximand’s orders, focusing their fire into the subsystem blisters and engine compartments of the carrier. As they moved to comply, the Crucible experienced a lurch as the surviving shard landers impacted into the starboard hull, causing more precise hull breaches on several decks, with teams of elite forces barrelling out and into the Eternal Fleet frigate. Boarding alerts rang throughout the ship, with ultranaughts hastily rushing out to secure the vital checkpoints of the ship while the bridge crew set about sealing the affected levels.

Meanwhile, the fighter swarm of Wing 1 from the planet breached atmosphere and surged from the planet, intercepting the advancing Debaucherers amidst the continual volley of firepower assaulting them from the rear guard. The full weight of the rear guard flotilla surged into the advancing boarding craft, with the fighters winging in from the rear to avoid as much friendly fire as possible. Wing 3 maintained an orbit around the rear guard, with wing 2 focusing still on the fleeing Kraemonen ships.

  • The Oberon suffered severe damage from the ramming action of the Bryn’adul carrier, listing to starboard while the carrier pushes further.
  • The remainder of the Retribution’s contingent are focusing fire upon the carrier in an attempt to disable its engines and subsystem blisters.
  • The planetary fighters have broken free from orbit and are intercepting the Debaucherers.
  • Wing 3 is orbiting around the rear guard.
  • The EE rear guard is continuing to volley-fire into the advancing Debaucherers, continuing their fighting retreat to try and add distance, drawing closer to the retribution.
  • The Crucible is being boarded by the three surviving shard craft, taking decent damage in the process.

The Avenging angel was in a bad way, they mixture of Ashlans and Ultranauts on board had eventually manged to deal with the attackers, but the ship was as good a dead in the water, flames poured out of multiple holes in the ship and structural integrity was barely high enough to risk the jump to hyperspace. The massive ship engaged its backup hyperdrive and was gone, leading thousands of tons of debris in an expanding cloud behind it. It would make it back to space dock, but it remained to be seen whether it was to be repaired or broken down for salvage.

The remaining two templars fought extremely hard against the approaching enemy. The Ashlans had managed not to yeild a full flank to their opponents but the Templars had become dangerously exposed. One of them took a full bore hit from a Butcherer on its already damaged flank, striking the magazines, causing a chaing reaction that broke the ship apart into 4 pieces, in the blast, an escorting principality was also torn apart.

"We are losing too many ships captain, we need to get the rest of the fleet and push through these new reinforcements" Isla said on the Hand of Ashla as it switched is bombardment away from the now destroyed butcherers and toward other targets such as the conqustors. Thousands of projectiles rounds were striking the shields and hull of the Ashlan flagship now, but she was still only a secondary target. That being said, her shields were dropping much to fast, and a number of bow systems had been damaged or rendered offline. "turn this beast around, she shouted" The new class of battlecruiser was much more agile than the preceding noble crusader, but it still turned painfully slow, but, little by little, Isla watched as the incoming fire tracked off of the bow and onto the less damaged port side. The shields here were still at a much higher level, but they werent out of the woods yet.

In the centre of it all, the squadrons of fighters and bombers were making progress, the wardens were helping turn the tide, although one had taken shots from a nearby cruiser class ship and been damaged to the point it just drift lazily through the oncoming fighters, the crew had time to escape, and its hull managed to save a significant amount of damage from hitting the other warden, until finally in a slowly blossoming ball of flame, tibanna tanks ruptured and burned like a miniature sun.

"Admiral, the signal has come through from the Crimson Empress activation codes for the Quantum bombs aboard the Hand of Ashla have been received and verified. Just awaiting your final authorisation to fire them"

"Very well captain, please transfer control to my station" she put in her command codes and did a retina scan, Quantum bombs were horrific weapons only used when total extermination was the goal. It is a weapon that the Ashlans would not even sanction against the Sith, but the Bryn were a threat to the very existence of the galaxy, light or dark. In order to risk a single platform being eliminated, the Eternal Empire had stationed several of the bombs on her flagship, and now she had been given the codes to fire them. She prayed that Ashla would judge her decision to be the right one.

Once again, another dose of a Force dampening chemical hit her; once more disrupting her ability to use the Force. She found herself rather impressive. If this man was Force sensitive, she would consider taking him as an Apprentice, cause such murderous and callous acts were the two most important qualities she sought for an understudy. However, the EE was in short supply of those individuals who walked with thoughts of dimming the galaxy of lesser thinkers. Then she felt it. The Force radiating from him. The heat of battle had muddled her senses, barely, and now as tensions began to wane; there it was.

Drifting her cybernetic eyes to the locking hand upon the wrist of her cybernetic hand with confusion, what was he trying to accomplish. His death had been recalled now that she felt the Force in him. This man would find himself without friends, a home, a cause to fight for; everything she could corrupt and give a purpose to serve her. In all her life, she surrounded herself with broken minds, most due to her doing, and here was one she could reshape; and give the galaxy another terror repurposed from the cold cellar of her monstrous intentions. His words, broken and computerized from the helmet he wore, also appeared in a taint of desperation. Then he surprised her.

When the surprise attack occurred, a hiss of hatred broke through her cracked lips, as she could only embrace for the assault and defend the best she could. Lords of the Sith, unlike Jedi Masters, were bred to kill and defend against being killed. She hated the Organized Sith, raised and trained under the Rule of Two from the old man she was once dispatched to bring before the Sith Emperor for judgement. She was trained to survive, kill without emotion, murder for personal gains, and bury individuals to protect her secrets. But on the other swing of the pendulum, she knew how to defend herself, treat every situation like a game of survival, to never let emotions override intelligence, always step into every scenario with an escape route, and most importantly, never trust your eyes; eyes always lied. Yet, this armored man caught her in thoughts.

The blast of a super cold infused chemical spat from the man's left arm right at her. The time window to react was extremely short, almost non-existent, but it was there. In a blur, she reacted two-fold. First, dodging to her left the blast shot caught her across the broadside of her face on the right, leaving it partially frozen; disrupting the use of her right cybernetic eye. causing to go into a blinking phase of electrical disfunction. The freezing shot was cold and painful, yet the pain only added to her anger of the situation, refocusing her mind. The second was a simple capture and proposed choice.

Swiftly, with her right still grasped, she drew left arm and placing it in front of the man's helmet face; the wrist rocket cocked and loaded, pointed at the man's covered face. She knew how Mando armor worked, but could it sustain a session of shots from point blank range? And if it could, the hits would almost have the effect of deadly recoil snapping the man's head back with enough force that a neck could snap. But she didn't want to kill him. Earlier, she believed he could be a party to the Empress' new ideology of reforming the Mando Clans; but the Force within him had changed her course.

"T
he Force is a mere whisper inside you. You are not extinct," she started unsure of the man's earlier statement of extinction. Adding, whilst leaning back from him to defend against other surprises and basking in the facial pain, "Let me give you a new purpose, a desire, a reason to grow far beyond your basic comprehension of yourself. You don't want to die....but I want nothing more to kill you now, but little man, you can become more than a corpse to me. What say you, mouse?"

As the Bryn’adûl Sniper stood up, Steve got his first close look at his opponent. He was a Draelvasier, which wasn’t much of a surprise to Steve considering that the other Bryn’adûl species tended to be in the military far less often. But compared to the other Draelvasier Steve had seen, this one seemed different somehow. For starters, he was taller and thinner than the Draelvasier that Steve usually fought against, but he also seemed to carry himself differently. While his movements were still quick, they seemed to have more thought and fluidity put into them than the jerky, flailing motions of the usual grunts.

The largest difference of all became apparent though when instead of immediately attacking, the Sniper began speaking to him. His voice was deep and rather gravely, but it was in perfect Galactic Basic with only a insignificant hint of an accent. What surprised Steve the most though, was what the Sniper said. In response, Steve lowered his rifle slightly, but not low enough to the point where he couldn’t quickly aim it back upwards. While doing this, he also said “I must admit that you are right. I do not want to fight right now. But unfortunately, I need to leave this cliffside. I also have a distinct feeling that you aren’t planning to let me leave while I am still breathing.” Steve did not immediately raise his rifle back up, but he did tighten his already firm grip on it. It may have been a mistake not to shoot the Sniper dead at that moment, but Steve was curious about how he would react to his response.

As the woman dodged to her left the Mandalorian found himself impressed, surprised really. At such close range it would have been difficult to evade the bursts of super-cooled chemicals though the Mandalorian would feel some small amount of success seeing as how he'd caught her across the side of the face at least. It must have been painful, the equivalent of having carbonate shot across your face; he wondered if a solid blow would shatter that side of her face and the underlying bone completely. Maybe, it was possible if enough of the freezing element had made contact.

Using his own footwork Naimes would have used the moment to improve his own situation though. Shuffling to his left as his opponent went to hers while retaining his right handed grip on her arm. In a way it would see the two of them move in a semi circular pattern, ensuring that Naimes back wasn't to the unrelenting surface of the corridor wall either.

When Ladybug Ladybug began to raise her left arm so that she could take aim with her wrist rockets Naimes acted. He'd release her right arm, swinging his own back across to his right in backhanded fashion to catch the inside of his opponents left forearm and knock it wide ensuring that if she did fire the projectile would likely go off course. In tandem with this as he swung his right arm in backhanded fashion he'd shift his left side forward ever so slightly, lifting that leg in the process before thrusting it towards her abdomen seeking to land a solid blow that would knock her backwards and unhinge her cybernetic hand from around his throat.

It was a calculated risk, even if she squeezed the impact of his blow should be enough to knock her backwards and should her hand be ripped free of his throat Naimes imagined that it would tear away a decent portion of the armorweave underlay providing protection for the softer areas of his armor. If she really had a good grip she'd probably even take off some of the body suit beneath that.

Insofar as the Mandalorian himself, his mind had started to clear mostly because of his knowledge of Teras Kasai and the discipline it had bestowed upon him. The Nausea was still there but it was manageable...

"You speak to a man with a purpose."

...he spoke knowingly...

"You are my purpose, you and others like you. You speak not to a mouse but to more than that. The Bryn'adul may die, I will remain"

...the Mandalorian was less concerned with her ability to use the force now, unlike the initial grenade the toxin dispersed moments ago was far more potent. Its affects would take longer to wear off if they had her now. To that Naimes positioned himself, ready to react while his right hand reached for another of his armaments; the 'Charging Rhyno' holstered on his left hip. He hadn't gone for his sword yet which was by far the weapon he was most proficient in.

A test, it was all a test. Even as the world came down around them.

A message crackled into his Helmet COOMs channel. The end of this fight is near, and they will have 22 minutes to take down the shields and various items before they have to scramble out of there before he is toast. Tovald was lucky not to be too badly hurt right now. Yes, he does have bruises, a few gashes from the glancing blows from Spiderling legs and a growing headache. Nothing that he can’t push away to the back of his mind to ignore.

Even though he had sworn not to do that anymore, with high-intensity fights, there is no room to remember anything good and proper. All your brain is focused on is being alive and not dead. Especially not at the hands of oversized Seafood.

'That would be an act of incredible irony, death by a horde of Homicidal Lobsters...' Tovald thought to himself sardonically as he aimed all blaster power at the advancing Arachnid. All the irony of that sudden thought was not lost to the Ubese.

They, at last, killed the last of those Spiderlings. A small sigh of relief escaped him. The EE managed to get quite a few Bryn at least what he could gather from the carnage within the halls. Circling all his wandering thoughts back to what Ghost was saying, he quickly nodded in agreement, although the shields may still be up so, they might as well make it easy for the EE ships to finish the job.

But he only had two Detonators left after the Engine destruction. So, he can’t use those again. Magnetic ones were very hard to come by. Thinking on his toes, he needed an alternative to them, so he had noticed Ghost is armed well and wondered if he had explosive alternatives. Something stronger than what he had carried with him when the mission first started. In the throes of battle, he misplaced all his Thermite.

<“We could go and escape now, but why not leave with a bang as a final parting gift?”> He suggested after a lengthy pause, a sly tone seeping into his voice. <“Something with a little more power than a Thermal Detonator?”>

What he was hoping for is that Ghost had stronger munitions in his supplies which may be useful in their final plan before they escape from this godforsaken ship and everything on it.

The people on the ships, so far, have really finished and brought in their backlog. Most were already heading back towards the pods or looking for other rescue pods. This was probably not the easiest task. In the meantime, the following instruction has been received:

<< Blow up the charges and leave the ships immediately! >> the command came from the man.

The engines of the ships, the shield generators (if any), began to explode in a row. That was the moment when both Frank and Tovald had to blow up the main ship's engines and then escape.

Inside the superconstuct, most of the agents who were still alive arrived at Eina to be taken out by the woman to the Netherworld. Out there, most of the troops have already successfully retreated and left the planet or the surface. Of course, there were still those who had just reached a ship and started to set off. The next instruction was:

<< Blow up the charges and all the bombs placed on the surface of the planet! >> the next command came from the man again.

Explosions began inside the superconstruct, and everyone on the planet was also warned that ships could fire the quantum bombs at any moment. Thus, there was not much time left for those on the ground to evacuate and leave the planet.

The fight in the swamp was still going on, and of course the retreat as well, which is why most of the troops had already successfully completed their task and left the planet or the surface. During a war, time is either faster or slower. Here, perhaps faster was the best word. Time was slowly coming to an end. MANIAC signalled for Cal and the man could constantly see the countdown in the corner of his retina.

<< Blow up the charges and leave the ships immediately! >> the command came from the man.

The next point after this was Superconstruct; there won’t be time for the saboteurs to come out, if they haven’t gotten out already, they probably won’t. And in the caves under the swamp, he hoped the armies had already retreated.

<< Blow up the charges and all the bombs placed on the surface of the planet! >> the next command came from the man again.

And the endgame. He looked down at the ball; It was Ingrid's order, but the man had to say it. It is not often that officers are given such an order. All this in such a way that it will never be a war crime. He had no guilt, there were no people on the planet, only Bryn'adûl. That's how the last command came.

<< After the explosions, fire the Quantum bombs at the planet and as soon as the enemy ships are paralyzed and lose their shields, shoot them down from the sky >> the last command came from the man again.

In space, the Crimson Empress set off in the direction of the newly arriving ships. At that moment, explosions began on the surface of the planet and on enemy ships. Commodore and Isla received permission to fire their bombs. The Crimson Empress launched her own bomb in the direction of the Superconstruct.

With four different heavly armed individuals running down a hallway full of spiders and crab people it made things easier. Until it wasn't.

"Sir door to the hanger is locked tight." come the smaller of the two biodroids as Ghost growled

keying off his coms he turns his head to the biodroid working on the door. After saying this another hoard of spiderlings begins scurrying down the hallway to meet them.

ghost would get into position before blasting down the hallway taking down a few of the spiderlings before shouting to Torvald. "Whatever happens today Just know you did good kid and it was a honor to fight alongside you, if we are to fall may the valkeries carry us home." turning his attention back to the fight he would keep up suppressing the enemy down the hallway as the stockier biodroid was converting his AWS to its LAR-2 squad support version. once it had it starting fireing a high volume of blaster shots down the hallway. "That micro missle underslung still work?"
"yes sir!" Ghost didn't need to tell that one to use it as it slotted in a micro missle rack of Antipersonnel rockets which are less blast more shrapnel turning the hallway into a killing floor that they used as a choke point.

Xiphos cut down Bryn'adul without mercy, again and again her saber sliced through Bryn flesh, her sons gutting and butchering Draelvasir in every crevice of this wretched place. It was a reckoning. If only it could have been their Homeworld.

Xiphos hated the Bryn'adul. So long had she struggled to build up the knowledge and resources to inflict real damage. And here they were, setting fire to one of their Super Constructs.

It would be a great battle, sure. But Xiphos craved nothing less than their annihilation. She had sacrificed a life she had been truly happy with to see the Bryn falled.

But she hated the Jedi just as much now. They would feel the wrath of those they threw to the wolves. She was training them to make sure they would. All she had lost because of the Lobsters hit all at once. She didn't want to lose control, but she couldn't help it.

She slashed and slashed and slashed in a frenzy, one of her children was killed by getting his head blasted off and she immediately gained vengeance in the killer, beheading him in turn.

She did not teleport. She was the wall, a crushing, inexorable wave of judgement upon these beasts, limbs and heads being severed all a mixed up blur in her eyes.

Her disappointment and fury towards the Jedi for ruining any hope of a unified response against these monsters bled into her every attack, making her cuts and slices even more brutal.

They had stood in the way of everything! Ruined everything! She hoped the order burned at Coruscant. She wasn't done with them. Not yet.

But the Bryn'adul came first. She would tackle the Maw next. And the Order when possible. But the Order would pay. With their lives. With their souls.

They would pay for not doing everything they could to stop the Bryn'adul. They would pay for caring only about The Sith.

She would not allow them to escape the consequences. She would sooner slit her own wrists then let them get away with that. This was about justice. This was about punishing them for their concept of it. Feth power. Feth empires. The Order had to be punished for the crime they had committed. At any cost to herself.

She couldn't help but replace the Bryn'adul she slew with an image of a Jedi Knight. So smug. So self righteous. So cruel.

They were evil, and she had never understood that until now.

She sliced in half another ultra, explosions ringing throughout the Super Construct. Her sons had been smashed apart many times, but they killed four for every one they lost. Familiarity with Bryn'adul tactics made this task fiendishly easy. Insects and Split-Jaws and human traitors littered the area behind her and her rampaging sons.

In her section, even the Juggernauts were in full tactical retreat. The wrath of Xiphos bore down on them and they crumpled under the assault, the Drael fighting ferociously, but her sons fighting more savagely still, many locked in hand to hand combat with the Bryn'adul, and while some lost that fight, the Nuetralizers still had too much data on their physiology not to inflict severe damage in hand to hand, one pair of Model 2's holding down a violent Ultra and painfully chainsawing him apart. The Sirens fought like demons, one managing to brilliantly kill an Ultra by tricking him into burying his sword into a drone behind her and sticking an explosive knife into his knee cap, scrambling and remote detonating it as he pulled it out.

Females and the young of the Bryn'adul were not spared in the slightest, the Model 3's making a special point to single them out for painful deaths via chainsaws and sledgehammers. One Model 1 even went so far as to use a baseball bat with nails embedded in it to crush the skull of a pregnant Drael.

"How's it feel to be your victims?" he taunted, turning his attention to a fleeing insect Bryn.

"Hey, how much XP is a Bryn Youngling worth?" a Model 3 asked as he blew one away with a shotgun.

"Headshot or general bodily kill?" a nearby Model 2 asked as he crushed a Drone's face like a grape.

"Headshot."

"Three hundred, easy!" The Model 2 answered.

"Aw just three hundred? Shouldn't it make more sense to get at least double that for high tier war crimes?"

"There's no such thing as a war crime against Bryn'adul!" A Model 1 painfully tearing a Drael female's head off claimed.

"I still think they should be worth more, especially if we're going for headshots." The Model 3 protested as he gunned down another Juggernaut. "What if they surrender?"

"Shoot 'em anyway! They didn't want to play nice with the Galaxy so they don't deserve any consideration!" The Model 1 called back.

Just then the first signal from Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim came in that the charges had been planted. They were gonna detonate quantum bombs.

Everywhere.

Even the Nuetralizers were impressed by the viciousness of this tactic.

"I like this Empress. No fething subtlety..." a Model 1 remarked. "QUITTIN' TIME!"

"Someone go get Mother!" A Model 2 yelled.

A Model 3 ran ahead, past piles of the sliced apart.

He found Xiphos mindlessly stabbing a dead Ultra, pretending it was a Jedi.

"Um...Mother?"

Yes, Son? Mother said to him in his electronic brain via her technopathy.

"We've received new orders. Immediate clear out. They're gonna hit this place with Quantum Bombs."

Finally. Someone who wants to win! Xiphos exclaimed, standing up, ignoring the horrific delusion she had been trapped in seconds before. Signal your brothers on both the ships in space as well as the Swamp. We are pulling out.

Meanwhile...

The Battalion The Battalion had given herself to the constant thrill of killing with a Lightsaber Xiphos's sons now under relentless assault but still inflicting devastating damage to the defenders. The Model 1 Units sent here were hardened veterans of multiple conflicts. It was little wonder they were doing so well. But they too got the first signal.

"Hey, Batty!" A Model 1 called out, putting out the eyes of a Juggernaut he had paralyzed from the neck down. "The charges have been planted! Quantum Bombs are headed for these ships."

The Battalion shoved her light red blade through a Baeduran's face.

"Aw, we have to leave? I was this close to getting fourteen beheadings in a row! I've never managed to do that!" The Battalion complained.

"We've done a good job distracting them. They've spent a significant portion of their security teams on us. Probably too much to focus on the teams planting the charges..." another Model 1 surmised.

"Drat. One day of uninterrupted slaughter, is that too much to ask?!" The Battalion complained.

"Aw, cheer up, Batty! We get a fireworks show!" the Model 1 replied, even as he signalled the Advanced Model 1's to pull back.

One Advanced Model, dicing up a Drael Council man, obeyed, and hand signalled the other Advanced Model to bail but she shook her head.

Their government figures cannot be allowed any hope of escape, Sister. She told her twin wirelessly as she butchered a guard. I will stay behind to ensure it...

May you go to the Great Droid Boogie in the sky, shiny and chrome. the other Advanced Model 1 said back wirelessly before becoming a puddle of mercury and escaping.

The remaining Advanced Model attacked even more viciously than before, her arm blades flashing at dizzying speeds, beyond razor-sharp as it effortlessly tore through Bryn Armor and Flesh. Hopefully her merciless slaughter might catch Osam's attention enough to allow Ingrid a chance to get one more blow in and end him or escape.

The Bryn'adul regarded most forms of tech as weak.

Yet here they were, being gutted and eviscerated by some of the most advanced tech in the Galaxy.

As far as the Advanced Model was concerned, shunning most technology in favor of flesh was just asking to lose a war...

Meanwhile...

The Model 3 units had been in full fledged battle when the order to retreat had been given.

The darkness causing spell by Darth Phyre in the body of The Amalgam The Amalgam allowed them some retreat in the confusion, and we're tactical in the doing. The Nuetralizers never did anything less than a fighting retreat. Many were the Maw that died fighting. Many Nuetralizers had been lost to the swamps also, the Model 1's self destructing when possible. But they had been badly hit in this battle also. The Swamps had been the battle where the Nuetralizers had lost the most units by far, their newer Model 3 brothers the only thing keeping it from being a complete rout, kept in the fight by both higher resistance to what had damaged the previous two units.

Phyre kept draining as much stolen life as she could, all for one grand spell.

As the Model 3 units retreated with their surviving brothers she unleashed it.

Dark, violet flames flooded out of her mouth and went everywhere, spreading throughout the swamp. It wasn't lethal. It couldn't kill. But it could drive people insane from the sheer *hate it was infused with. It covered trees, rushed over the murky waters, incapable of harming EE Military, but any Maw Warrior it encountered had better pray to their dark Gods that their mind would hold.

But Phyre, once she was informed, knew she couldn't stay. Nearly half the swamp was ablaze with the non lethal but insanity inducing purple flame. Self sustaining at this point.

It was time to leave.

Hastily the Witch with the shuddering skin made a rapid retreat to her own ship just as the surviving Nuetralizers set off primitive, non Electronics based grenade traps all over the woods to cover their retreat to their drop ships. They were fleeing for the relatively simple chaos of space soon after, the Nuetralizer TIE's covering them by attacking the Phedrak's however they could. Though somewhat outnumbered by Phedrak's, the Automated Starfighters were as smart as Organics and flew circles around many enemy fighters, being smaller than normal starfighters with high speed, often having to be destroyed by sheer volley fire being chased. The Alyosha Series Star Destroyers now had turned their full attention to the back up fleet Osam Osam had sprung, and concentrated their Seismic Energy Torpedo in a single, devastating volley at the ship launching the Phedrak's...

Xiphos was the first aboard one Alyosha ship with her surviving forces, having evacuated both her sons as well as all the surviving Sirens that Esmeralda Io Esmeralda Io was part of, having torn through the terrible Space Battle in The Shadow Bride to do so. The Battalion and Darth Phyre arrived soon after on their own respective vessels and immediately went to look for Xiphos. The ship rocked as it sustained an impact, and returned fire with all of its heavy electric turbolasers.

Upon spotting Xiphos, Phyre snarled as her mind was temporarily overtaken by The Amalgam, shifting back to her form.

"Doesn't it feel nice working for a faction that wants to win?" The Amalgam asked, taunting Xiphos with a smirk. "Imagine the victories you could obtain truly working for the Sith..."

"Shut up, Amy..." Xiphos said, getting her emotions under control as she headed for the bridge to get the best view of watching the EE turn Danuta into a failed Weyland-Yutani Reactor...
