The Mercenary Returns (Mit Tuxaire)

[Nefertari Sovint]

I parried and popped my opponent a couple times before being struck in the head.
"Ouch. Nobody really knows every style, I really only know two of them well. An early start can be a huge benefit."
Our duel resumed, we struck each other simultaneously quite a few times before he fell to his knees. I myself was a bit disoriented.

"Well, that was interesting. You took him down quickly enough." I said, still watching [member="Nefertari Sovint"]
I looked awkwardly at some of the people that had begun to watch the duel. They had obviously expected it to last longer.

"Guess somebody's stamina was low..." I said , seeing stars
It was a fake out, I quickly turned around to get out of the way of a 200 pound tank of a man flying at me. The people cheered as the duel once again resumed.
I switched to Shii-cho. Our main focus styles were pitted against each other.

I watched in fascination, amazed that Nefertari could hold off the huge man.
I watched as they went back and forth, it seemed to be a type of dance really, The people were cheering like mad.

"Get 'er, Knight Groundrunner!" A padawan called
He struck
"CHECK...MA-"
The crowd ooed as I parried as part of my upswing before striking his side.
(I don't know if you're familiar with kendo, but it's pretty much kaeshi do)

"Ehw, that looked a bit painful..." I muttered, watching the two. The padawan seemed disappointed that the knight had failed to finish [member="Nefertari Sovint"]
I just sat there and smirked.

(Right)

"...I give." These were the words Knight Groundrunner spoke as he extinguished the training saber. I had won
"That was a good match" I said, shaking his hand
Turning to [member="Mit Tuxaire"], I asked "Would you like a turn?"

I jumped up and nodded. "Any time." I stepped next to [member="Nefertari Sovint"] and waited for instructions, I really had no idea if we just leaped in, or had a start period? "So, do we just; Start?"

"Sure. Why not?"
I ignited and waited for my friend to make the first move.

I grabbed one of the training blades, ignited it, swung it around a bit to check its weight. And lunged at my opponent, the point of the blade thrust through the air at her.

I rushed at [member="Mit Tuxaire"]'s thrust and swept his blade out of the way, bringing us close. I shoved off of him and struck at his wrist.

I swiftly parried [member="Nefertari Sovint"] strike towards the ground, sweeping her legs out from under her as I did so. I started an overhead strike as she fell.

Falling, I slid between Mit's legs. I tapped him on the shoulder and used a thrust as he turned around.

"Hey!" I said, catching Nefertari's blade with my own. "Thats something I would do!" I quickly jabbed my blade past hers, lunging at her.

His blade got me, and good too.
"Good, good"
Pushing past the pain of the lunge, I decided to throw [member="Mit Tuxaire"] for a loop.
Several slashes came at him from different angles

I blocked most of [member="Nefertari Sovint"]'s slashes, but one of them got me pretty bad in the shoulder. "Gah, Its a shame you don't have better training weapons... I'd hate to hurt you." I said, dropping the training blade and extending my own wrist blades.
"Just try and keep away from the pointy bits." I said, grinning. With a few slashes I knocked her sword from her hand, and stepped back into a defensive pose.

Her training blade flew out of her hand.
"Only if you can do the same" I said, flicking out my datadagger "I'd hate to harm you as well"
Some of the crowd ran, others' excitement grew. The blade was thin enough to get through his defense however, it barely nicked his shirt. I dodged to the side as his blade came for me.

"Don't worry about me." I said, jabbing at her again and again. Most missed, but one strike did nick her wrist. "Well, come on then."

I used my robotic hand to knock one of his wrist blades far to the side and rapidly jabbed with my own blade

I mumbled a bit and flicked out a dagger that very much resembled hers. Slashing with the dagger and jabbing with my single wristblade. "Since when do you have a robotic hand?"
