..:: The New Year Dawns ::..
It has been months since the conclusion of the Omega War, and while the remnants of the One Sith and the Galactic Republic remain, their true strength and hold on the galaxy has been crushed in a single fell swoop. New powers have emerged from the fringes of the galaxy; while others attempt to fill the void left by the two former Galactic Powers.
The Mandalorians and Galactic Alliance forge forward as the Galaxies newest Super Powers, while others rise on the edges of the Galaxy. The Iron Empire and the Commonwealth seek out their own power and wealth in a time of chaos and turmoil. Their goals unfold upon the Galactic stages as others watch on.
Still yet there are those that seek to make a name for themselves and rush to the Core Worlds in a bid to claim what they can and bring about their own order.
..:: The Order of the Righteous Flame ::..
Not all is lost...
For while the Galaxy begins to fall to darkness, there is a light still burning brightly in the Core Worlds.
They call themselves the Order of the Righteous Flame. A monastic order akin to the Jedi Order of old, and their banners begin to rise. Hailing from the far flung world of Feenix, they are the successors of the older and disbanded Knights of Kal'Shebbol.
However one of their own has heard the calling of their deity. The Marker calls to the Order, and guides them to the fringes of Wild Space, to a sacred place from which they can build their order. A Knight-Commander has taken upon herself to seek out this call to Wild Space so that the Order may rise and bring peace to this troubled galaxy.
..:: Guardians of the Galaxy ::..
For countless generations the Jedi stood as the Guardians of the Galaxy before the many schisms that tore the Order into multiple sects in their own right. In this division the Sith of the destroyed Sith Empire were able to regroup, and bide their time until they ultimately struck at Coruscant and forged the One Sith Empire.
The Jedi failed the Galaxy...
Thus the Order of the Righteous Flame arose from the ashes. Those who had no connection to the Force or those that had been used and tossed aside by the Jedi and Sith; stripped of their connection understood the only truth.
The Jedi and the Sith are merely two faces upon the same coin...
Viewing the Jedi Order as having failed in their duty to the Galaxy, the Order of the Righteous Flame seeks to reunify the fractured Order and set them upon their rightful path; lest they need to destroy the Jedi and rebuild the Order from scratch. Their enemies, the Sith, must also be hunted down and destroyed; though above all else they hold their own code.
"We are sworn to Protect the Galaxy from the Dangers of the Force..."
"Watch for Weakness and Corruption..."
"Act without hesitation for the good of all..."
"Seek out Dangerous Force Users that prove a threat to the Galaxy so that they may be destroyed..."
"Pursue those that escape..."
..:: Technology vs The Force ::..
Members of the Order of the Righteous Flame lack the capability to utilize the force; or they are those whose own connection had been stripped from them by members of the Sith or Jedi Orders. Thus the Order of the Righteous Flame must seek out alternatives...
Their answer...
Fight the Force with Technology.
The Order of the Righteous Flame dedicates a large section of members, the Armigers to the development of technologies, vessels, weapons, armors and all manner of devices that aid the Knights in the field. They are the arm of the Order that acts as its Research and Development sector; though the Order is not only focused on weapon technologies.
They seek out ancient lore and knowledge, their Enlightened seeking out such dangerous artifacts and knowledge to be hidden from the Galaxy. They chronicle and store the relics, while also experimenting and studying them to discover their secrets. The hope being that they can harness the abilities of these relics for the good of all.
Though it is the Hospitallers among them that reach out to the people of the Galaxy. Their sole duty being that of offering aid and healing to those injured or sick. They seek to mend bridges and reverse the destruction beset upon the people by Force Users.
It is thus the Seekers that are the arm of the Order; a clenched fist to strike out when needed. They hunt down and destroy those Force Users deemed too dangerous to be permitted to live or even hold in Carbonite.
..:: The Saarebas ::..
For while the Force is Dangerous, there are those among their own ranks born into it, born with the curse of such a burden as to be Force Sensitive. Though they can still serve the Order and aid in bringing peace to the galaxy that their own kind have torn apart. They are the Saarebas, the 'Dangerous Things' that give of themselves wholly and seek to aid the Order in its endeavors.
Though while they shall receive no training in the ways of the Jedi or the Sith, they shall be the power unleashed upon the field when such a being is proving a threat to their numbers.
The Saarebas hold a special place within the Order, and are elevated to such a station that they are both feared and respected.
